I really do not think education is a barrier to being wealthy and rich. I know people in my country that are very successful business men and women. They weren't educated as we thought but because of their drive to succeed, they were able to stand and be useful to themselves and the world.

Education is important everywhere.  It is also the foundation of how people will make their life.  Just to let you know, education is not limited to the four walls of a classroom.  Education is everywhere.  The moment you start learning, you are already educating yourself.  So it is wrong to say that those businessmen and women you stated are not educated, they are indeed educated on their endeavors reason why they become successful in their careers.  They might not have formal education where they get degrees and certifications, but education can also be informal where we learned things outside the school curriculums.

Sure mate. education brings a lot of changes in ones life and I do not doubt the fact that it is the a bed rock of life foundation. In as much as one learn new things everyday, that can also be termed as education. It does not necessarily means that one must go to school before one is educated. The knowledge and exposure alone shows a bit sign of how educated you are.
Mate, Education in this context and in respect to this conversation means going to school and acquiring  a degree that is what we were discussing about. I do understand your view and where you are driving to but that was not the context of our conversation. My response is quite inline with our conversation.

According to one of the comrades, restricting most of these politicians globally will actually cause them to start managing some sectors correctly, such as the health sector, where the majority of the government-owned hospitals are not being properly maintained. They should even seize the majority of these assets they owned abroad, politicians have manipulated and taken advantage of people enough, Even if people try to make things work by electing the appropriate candidates, they still manage to rig the general election.I really think it's just a matter of time before people stop treating government officials lightly whenever they fail to perform their duties adequately. I'm so hurt by what I'm seeing right now.

Omo our politicians are crooks. I doubt if they would really change from their evil ways. See all these things are what leads to high crime in a nation. I am beginning to feel that these guys are just toying with themselves  (not us ) with these travel ban they had placed. Do not be surprised in the nearest future  you will  start hearing that politicians have been travelling out of the country with fake identities with the aid of those their lackeys and cronies they planted into the system. The worst of it all is that, this would be  an international collaboration and they would be moving out with private jets since they have it, it would not be a challenge to them in anyways.

2264  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How una dey cope with this high Bitcoin fees wahala, which wallet una dey use? on: May 18, 2023, 08:13:37 PM

But then whenever such happens as a bitcoin holder all you need to do is to do. More cash than Bitcoin.

Actually, this idea is a good one to reckon with. I had the thought of doing such but looking at it and the way Nigeria banks behave and the naira fluctuations I had another thought of transferring and living some emergency funds in stable coin. This is even more safe and stable than the local way and currently usdt against naira Is appreciating so you could see why I had choose to better remain onchain with a stable coin than converting to naira instead of the value of my naira to keep dropping I better remain onchain with usdt as my emergency rescue funds than keeping it in local currency.
2265  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xbit the incurable virus on: May 18, 2023, 07:37:53 PM

Logically and with reason.
1. There are no 1xbit campaign participants complaining about payment, paid or not, if those who manage the btt account are them/the 1xbit team, of course payment is not a problem for them.

2. Another piece of evidence, 1xbit manager, has created different accounts many times here, despite the scam warnings. meaning: they know how to manage btt accounts here.

As far as I know, the members involved in gambling are adults, they should be able to think about what is good and bad for themselves, who knows how many fraud alerts there are, if we ourselves don't care about that, of course we are always trapped in a circle of fraud, no one forces us to gamble, but common sense must be put in front, not knees.

At first, the 1xbet campaign is up and doing because they realize a lot of funds from their scams and fraud. I have no doubt that they would relent because they seems to be well positioned comfortably on this platform without any threat. No admin, no moderator questioning their existence here as to why they should be Promoting scam on this platform.

Secondly, I have the feelings that the representative to 1xbet here is a well knowledgeable member probably a well ranked and placed member on board this platform. I see how they handle the campaign and I doubt if truly their representative is not a high ranked member here.

To be frank, since I came onboard, I have never heard any  1xbet campaign promoters complain of delay or being owed or any issues  with the casino in terms of discrepancies. Nothing of that nature. What even baffles me is that they keep launching and relaunching new campaigns with no stress and hindrance here.

Lastly, it is true that adults are majority of the gamblers there and it is wisely advised to take caution before going into gambling coupled with the series of complaints So therefore as an adult,  it is assumed that you know the good the bad, the ups and downs and all the rights to do but of you pay blind eyes and deaf ears to get entangled, you may likely be in your own.
2266  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the difference between banks and big whales in crypto? on: May 18, 2023, 06:59:33 PM
Banks are earning big profit from our deposits, they earn bigger than the interest that we get from our deposit because they put a bigger interest rate through thier borrower's or lenders, i think bank is not too far from big whales in crypto they buy or collect coins in dip and they sell in bull and they earn bigger from the holders that sell at loss  they are almost the same or what? What dou you think?

The banks and the Crypto whales are no difference. The both are big time market manipulators. They always want to control the market to their own benefits and to the detriment if other holders. They insight fud and other measures to stir up panic and fear to sell after that they end up buying everything from the panic sellers at very low price then they come come up with another strategy to pump the market again and sell to making Huge gains from the shares bought at low. This circle keeps repeating and repeating over and over again without any sanctions against their act because it is an open market and every one has the right to free trading.
2267  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: May 18, 2023, 01:08:10 PM
People stay poor because lack of financial knowledge, no school, collage an any other education institution teach about financial knowledge this is also one of the reason why people stay poor. Apart from this, when poor mindset people gets money, they never use it for investment to generate more money from there. In same time some people born poor but with their right knowledge and hard work they become success in their life and become rich. Born being poor but with their determination and hard work never let them end up being poor.

I have come to realize that poverty is as a result of ones reasoning and ability to engage in meaningful activities that would help them grow.
Another factor I put into consideration is ones circle. If you are always in a circle of lousy people who think not of what they could do to generate more funds or being productive, you will remain like them because they would always drag you down to their level so the best thing is to always stay in circle higher than you if you must grow and be productive.

I really do not think education is a barrier to being wealthy and rich. I know people in my country that are very successful business men and women. They weren't educated as we thought but because of their drive to succeed, they were able to stand and be useful to themselves and the world.
2268  Economy / Economics / Re: How do banks generate income? on: May 18, 2023, 12:30:11 PM
There are a lot of ways they are doing it, but the reason that they have money is because a lot of people are investing in them. They are trying to make the most out of their deposits and then invest in the right places. That's why some corporations are using shorts to say companies are downfall and making money from their investments. Investment firms have money because some banks also invest in them. That's one of the primary income that they can have for sure.

Banks too are business wise though. Irrespective of their mischievous acts, they are good investors. They search for potential businesses with high market demand to invest in which they know will generate much funds for both parties involved.
Banks and their management do have foresight of businesses that could outperform and they do quickly indicate their interest without you calling them to do so.

I have a friend who told his banker friend about his business plan and how to achieve his target not knowing that his  banker friend took it to their branch manager and upon hearing it, they invited him to invest in it and that was how his business started and today he is doing well for himself and the bank already benefited from the business as investors.
2269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exciting New App for Bitcoin - Seeking Honest Reviews! on: May 18, 2023, 11:54:40 AM
It is nice having more apps that would promote Crypto currency and bitcoin in general. As I see, your app seems to be incoperated into investment which is not a bad one but a welcomed development and hence would need your app to be more sophisticated security otherwise. Since it has to do with one investing his or her funds, it would be more convenient that one keeps track of their own investment on the app So as to keep abreast of activities and monitoring.

I would like to ask you this question OP; what is the guarantee that this app is well secured to prevent hackers from accessing our details, funds and assets?

2270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new milestone: 1M addresses hold 1 Bitcoin on: May 18, 2023, 11:28:10 AM
It's good to see that the community is growing at this speed. I used to think that price drops are bad things. But as I have learned in the past 2 bear markets, it's an opportunity. Many new will join and others will fill their bags in this bear markets. This is quite an achievement for Bitcoin community. And I think it is worth of celebrating. We still have a long way to go in order to reach global acceptance of Bitcoin. This achievement really shows us that we are going in the right direction. I think we won't have to wait that much as we have predicted.

A growth with speed is what we desire for bitcoin so as to get a wider and bigger community of bitcoin enthusiasts and believers. This is the ultimate goal for which we  are here for.

Price drop for bitcoin is very much beneficial to all as it would usher in new investors who are ready and willing to purchase bitcoin in high volume and fractions as well. All are still part of the bitcoin holders irrespective of the volume being bought by them. So therefore, price drop in bitcoin and Crypto generally are not bad, it is right time to bag more if you can as long as the token or coin have a utility value or use case, that would give you a guide on coin or tokens to purchase.
Nevertheless, at this stage based on the percentage of the world population aware of bitcoin,  it is just minuit compared to the  total numbers of humans  in the world itself which invariably means that bitcoin is still at its early adopters stage and this is no cause for alarm as we still have a long way to go in the bitcoin movement.

2272  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: May 17, 2023, 11:20:23 PM
What is your advice?
I think investing in cryptocurrencies should not take a loan at all. Because cryptocurrency markets fluctuate widely and it can result in profit or loss if invested at any given time. And if there is a risk of losing money later if you invest by borrowing, then you will end up with a lot of debt towards life in the future. So my idea is to invest without taking a loan and save a small amount from your earnings to invest later. Such investment should be done only then one can expect good things in future.
I don't think at all to invest using borrowed money, because the risk that will be taken will be 2 times bigger. I'd rather be late to save money first than have to rush using borrowed money. We have to return the money we borrowed, and at the same time we have to control our emotions when investing. Obviously investing requires patience, and if we are impatient it will frustrate us. Don't be too hasty when we are going to invest, we have to really consider all aspects, especially when it comes to money, we know money is a sensitive thing.

What about people with stable incomes? Can they borrow money to invest? I mean, let's say we are in a bear season, and that is considered the best time to invest because the risk is also lower and the profit potential is higher. But for some reason, they couldn't have enough money to invest at that time and decided to borrow money in this case was a mistake? For someone who has a stable job, a stable income, and can pay off debt with his salary, I think borrowing money to invest is possible.

In this situation, since you have a job and you are sure you would get your salary when due then I think it is less of effect but make a budget accordingly so as not to go out of context and when it is due, do well to make payment if you must borrow otherwise I would advise to wait till you receive your salary before doing that. Although the market is down and now is the right time to bag more but that does not mean you should go borrowing to invest as no one can predict the next direction the market would move towards. So be guided as you so do not make mistake that would cost you your fortunes mate.
2273  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: May 17, 2023, 10:58:30 PM
OP I am happy you know that in every advantage, there is also a disadvantage but going by judgment one needs to look more of the advantage and if the disadvantage is severe then the judgement should be based on your intuition.

Looking at a commission based job, one can easily fit in there because there is no call for vacancy but rather trustworthy, reliable and genuinety is the call. If you have the contact and connected I think you will make it big time. Then looking at the other aspects, one can be able to do other businesses and possibly learn more skills to build their knowledge so as to earn more which would serve them better.

For instance, I would take this platform for an example. If one does a commission based job I believe one can be able to cope here without any issues as regards to when they come online to make posts and comments depending on if they are running a signature campaign but if otherwise, I do not think it would be possible to do so.

With these little I have looked into, without the other aspect of benefits, I can tell you that commission jobs are  ok to go with.
2274  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How una dey cope with this high Bitcoin fees wahala, which wallet una dey use? on: May 17, 2023, 10:23:45 PM
Snr. Man this Mata for bitcoin transaction fee really spoil market. Last week my transaction got stucked for four days before it was confirmed. After then the transaction I did was $12 even at then I took me hours before it was confirmed but I had no choice than to wait for the confirmation. Early this week I provoke  reduce the gas fee from $10 to $2 omo under 1 hour plus the transaction was confirmed. Today I ginger mora do another one I see the transaction fee I reduce am from $8 to $0.78 under 30 minutes the transaction was confirmed but I learnt one lesson from this occurrence and I have have taken measures immediately so that next time I won't go through this stress of looking for a way to transfer my coin and trying to escape high transaction fee.

All these occurrence are on trust wallet and segwit to be precised. As I see someone has already illustrated via pictorial excerpts on how to set the gas fee.
2275  Other / Meta / Re: Can one use AI to correct grammatical errors? on: May 17, 2023, 09:54:55 PM
AI has made most people very lousy and not willing to read, study and research. Using AI can be sometimes very frustrating as what you expect inline with your work might really not be the same and the meaning too is a clear sign that the  words churned out is not  in line with what one is trying to fit in

There was an incidence in my country where a university student used AI to write test but after the test, the lecturer failed her and boldly write it in her answer script that she used AI for the test which the lady did not deny the fact.

One should not get too addicted to AI as it may not be in a favourable situation the response when gotten compared to the natural.
2276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 17, 2023, 09:04:35 PM
We must feel disappointed because we have experienced defeat in betting and we will experience that. We cannot hope the site will return the money we used to gamble because we have gambled on their site and lost.

Playing gambling is everyone's choice. Some want to gamble and some don't want to gamble. If you want to gamble, you must be prepared to experience defeat, where defeat is a sure thing in gambling. Meanwhile, victory will not always come to you, so prepare some money and enjoy playing gambling and stop before your money runs out.

One thing they should know that gambling is just like the normal game everyone plays. We should be able to know that in every game played, there must be a winner and there must be a loser. So when playing any game of your choice, you must be prepared for the inevitable to Happen; it is either you win it you loss that is the ideology when gambling and also it should not be a thing of bed of roses for gamblers.

The inevitable is the reasons why you are asked to gamble responsibly and gamble with what you can afford to lose so that you do not get into any  emotional trauma while gambling as the case maybe...
2277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a Bitcoin investor on: May 17, 2023, 08:50:00 PM
Congratulations your first step is appreciable and this step will lead you to a successful destination. You take a better decision and as the time passes this little amount will change into maximum amount but you have to keep hold your bitcoin until it gives you huge success.

Now you have hold your bitcoin so whenever you get a time try to learn more about it because just holding is not the way to success but there are also lots of other things which you have to understand and follows the rules to be a success investor. Try to understand about the trading strategies so you will easily make decision according to the situations also remember that whenever the market is against your hopes so keep holding and never be in rush of making profit as the profitable destiny requires some years.
Congratulations on your new step into being a millionaire,so many person's have been here for a long period of time, and they don't still think of investing, but atleast you've taken a step ahead into your future, and also a step in making your future a success. You need to know so many things as you are now an investor, you  need to know that dissappointment is part of the game, loses is part of the game, heartbreak is part of the game. You should know you have started the game of risk, but that risk you took to invest, will definitely bring you result that will make you happy for the rest of your life.It is good to see someone make a reasonable and a calculative move towards becoming a wealthy personel.

Investing in bitcoin will not make you rich, nor will you become a millionaire in the future. I mean, you cannot become a millionaire or become rich with just a small amount of capital to start, even if bitcoin hits $1 million. To do that, you need a fairly large amount of capital to invest. Investing in bitcoin only ensures that we can get a better return than other assets and will take less time.
In addition, bitcoin is not only profitable, but many people also invest in it because they like privacy and can control their own assets without the need for a 3rd party.

From the way OP sounds, I think OP did not purchase that fraction of bitcoin with the aim of getting rich quickly with it and come to talk of it, in a normal sense one should know that such volume of bitcoin is near nothing to make anyone rich overnight even when the price of bitcoin increases. It takes a large reasonable volume purchased to realize such dreams and expectations.

I am not talking bad about OPs purchase volume but rather seeing from the perspective that OP is Happy owning bitcoin in fractions which is a good thing for OP and should be encouraged if possible to buying more of bitcoin

Lastly, privacy was one of the major tenet's of bitcoin. Hence the reason why people delved into converting their assets into bitcoin so as to have a good store of value in their assets after years or however the case maybe.
2278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World's First Kids Cartoon about Bitcoin on: May 17, 2023, 07:40:01 PM
Wow, looks like we need to expand this content using different languages for each country. Because the kids where I live obviously can't understand if they only focus on one language. There should be an initiative from every content creator in every country whose channel is exclusively for cryptocurrencies. Because after watching it might be effective for children who already understand English, but on the other hand the content and delivery need to be expanded again so that the message to be conveyed can really be understood by all children.

The method with cartoon film media is a brilliant idea, preparing for a golden generation who since childhood are at least familiar when they hear Bitcoin. thanks OP for the information, because this will be a collection of films that I keep.

Your idea is quite alright mate. It would be nice this cartoon video is produced in different languages so as to effectively communicate to the world as a whole because not everyone hears the English language we speak here. For instance on this platform, we have other nationals and their local board where which they communicate properly. Something similar could be replicated interms of producing the cartoon video for the kids. With it, kids from other  non English speaking nation can easily gain knowledge through the video  when they listen and watch it.

However, with the explanatory from the video, adults too can be educated fir those finding it difficult to flow with their research in having a deep understanding of bitcoin can also watch it too.
This cartoon video is very educative and supportive.
2279  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ NowDice.com 🎲 Low House Edge 🎲 NO KYC! 💰 Jackpot 💰 on: May 17, 2023, 08:53:01 AM
Yeah! NowDice is clearly marching to the beat of their own drum, disregarding all the valuable feedback and warnings. Their use of fake followers and suspicious betting activity shows they're taking a massive risk with their reputation. It wouldn't be surprising if they were to fade away from the gambling scene before even making a substantial impact.

Only time will tell whether they can withstand the storm they've created. In the meantime, maybe it's best to steer clear and find a more reputable gambling site.
This is a clear sign of disregard and disrespect for their customer service. If they could ignore their prospective clients here when they are just some days old then what will happen if they stand fully as a casino if really they are genuine and authentic.
All these are the little signs one really needs to look into before they think of identifying with such casinos.
OPs disregard for members here is very awful coupled with their fake statistics and bot activities on the nowdice website pisses me off and probably, I just assume they are up to something which I am yet to see their actions.

Looking at the manner and attitude of the nowdice casino and their representative here, I think it is too risky to get involved with them. Anyone dealing should deal with caution.
