2262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: February 20, 2023, 01:37:34 PM
Martingale is a guaranteed winning strategy only under two small conditions: 1 - there are no bet limits, 2 - you have an unlimited amount of money.

That is false and even if it were true the conditions are unrealistic, so people better forget about Martingale, but no matter how many times that has been explained in this forum by several of us, and in a lot of places on the web, people misinterpret what they want and keep trying the strategy.

What were you going to do with unlimited money and no bet limits? Double the bet to win only the initial amount until you lose it all and start all over again?

The Martingale should be called the Rubbishgala.

First off, if you have "unlimited money", why bothering with making a bit more with such boring betting strategy as martingale? Smiley

Maybe it's a philosophical question, but I wouldn't say @pawel7777 was wrong in saying "Martingale is a guaranteed winning strategy" under those conditions.

~ We can agree that there's no winning strategy for any games with a mathematical edge not being on your side (negative EV).
But if you still want to gamble on such, then martingale is just as good, or just as bad as any other betting style. You're just betting on not having a losing streak exceeding your bankroll.

Absolutely. For example, you can bet your entire balance on a single slot spin, and this strategy, although considered bad money management wise, wouldn't look so bad if you hit a high multiplier.
2263  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: February 20, 2023, 12:14:41 PM
This also just came to me recently in a discussion - The fact that an individual themselves can be their own obstacle in case they overshoot their goals, especially having in mind what they are capable of becoming or doing.

This is probably the biggest obstacle, being realistic about these things.

I agree. Sometimes people decline a good job offer only because they want "a business of their own". They don't want  to work for another person or an organization, thinking that if they had their own business, they would be earning more while working less. This illusion is the biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom for many people.
2264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give it a break. on: February 20, 2023, 11:44:59 AM
Give yourself a break.
This is one measure or strategy I use in my gambling technique to curtail losses upon more losses. Immediately I realize I have made many streaks like about 5 to 7 streaks for the week and I haven't made any win at least out of these numbers of streaks the next action is to give it a break for another new week to come. Believing that it's not my week and there's no need trying more as I will only end up break my bank for nothing at the end.
I do this for a long time now and it works for me by saving me from incurring wasteful losses and also having/saving me some money  for the next week to come. Indirectly this strategy also help to moderate my gambling habit and uncontrollable addiction tendency, and it also provide me the chance of having money for any winning opportunity that might come up for the new as I gamble.

At this point what do you think about this gambling strategy I use? Although yours may not be with 5-7 streaks in a week you can also set a number of streaks convenient with you to use. Or is there anyone out there already using this strategy and how beneficial has it being to you?

Giving yourself a break from time to time is the strategy that every responsible gambler is following. So, you are doing it right, in my opinion. Not only you are saving money this way, but you also make your future experiences more enjoyable. And to those not following this strategy I want to say: Don't make a boring work out of fun, which gambling should be in the first place.

Although, a warning. The house edge may be low, BUT there's still a house edge! Managing your capital is MORE IMPORTANT than the favorite game to play

I think it is worth noting that it's not the house edge what makes people lose big amounts, amounts they can't afford to lose. Even if there were no house edge at all, some gamblers would  still be losing huge amounts because of bad luck. We shouldn't forget about that when looking for a casino with the lowest house edge around, thinking that we can win there. Even EV+ games are not the games where your win is guaranteed.

Damn. What a round of lottery, 2 winners there pocketing with such small amounts. In that list, only 2 people had more tickets than me too, so I'm feeling pretty disappointed with myself lol.

I had almost 80k tickets, hehe you can blame the 4xRP rewards for that which came 2 in a row, but the RP itself was nice I guess, along with a few more spare GTs!

Man, that's a lot. The highest number of FreeBitco.in's lottery tickets I ever had was 15k of them, two years ago or so. And yes, you kinda expect something with that number of tickets, although in fact your chance is still around 0.01%.

BETTING section does not load events for me anymore. Anyone have this issue ?
Yes, it's been with me since last night too. But at least my bet from yesterday was paid out correctly. At least this seems to work.

Hopefully it will be repaired soon. I want to keep betting.  Cheesy

I'm having the same issues with betting section. Also, in the Lottery section I can see this

but nothing happens when I click on "OLDER" or "NEWER".

2269  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 19, 2023, 11:53:02 AM
~ Any real evidence of that, or is it just what you want to believe?

People of the civilized world will not stop supporting Ukraine until the last Russian soldier leaves the occupied areas(Crimea included), because what Putin's regime did was a brutal attack on civilized world, which Russia itself used to be a part of not that long ago. And if such thing goes unpunished, then other barbarians might start thinking they could try to do the same.

This isn't the first that I have seen. However, it's possibly the first formal move I have seen in Congress. I have posted a few other posts that suggest the same thing in other ways.

Congressman Matt Gaetz and 10 others are making this formal. Nobody knows how much success they will have. Watch the video of Gaetz on the House floor at the site.
~

"A member of the Republican Party, he is widely regarded as a staunch proponent of far-right politics as well as an ally of former president Donald Trump."

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Gaetz

And why I'm not surprised? These guys from the Republican Party will not stop at anything just to get a chance to get back to the power. Not all of them, of course, are like that. Fortunately, there are some sane people among their ranks, who understand that there can be more important things in this world than fighting for power.

2270  Economy / Services / Re: POKER on: February 19, 2023, 10:07:41 AM
In my practice, rebuy just helped me to play to the final table. May be i have not enough experience but i never got enough prize to get a profit with rebuy.

No, no, I'm sure you have enough of experience. It happens to everyone: if you do couple of rebuys and you take the last paid place - your profit is negative. Again, I think it's a good practice to do rebuys as rarely as possible.
Yep. May be there are some strategies for using rebuys, and, i think, that there are some opportunities to use it cleverly, but when you have several tournaments the same time - there are no time to analyze situation with rebuys. May be if i lost 3 tournaments that moments and have only one with the last table... But it change all my strategy and it never improves the quality of play. At least in my situation.

Right. Playing at many tables you don't even remember where and how many rebuys you've made already. It's really frustrating when you finish in the paid places, and then you see that because of all those rebuys your profit is actually negative. I think the optimum is one renbuy max, and one table only.
2271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rejecting odd provider's limit on: February 19, 2023, 09:29:08 AM
Have seen few discussion in this board about odd providers limiting user accounts, I assume they must be tracking user's accounts across multiple casinos by email address, kyc is triggered later.

My question is, would it be possible to circumvent such imposition by simply using different emails while registering on different casinos?

Frankly, I wouldn't recommend you to mess with this. Casinos may use various methods to identify and track users, such as IP address, device ID, and payment information, in addition to email address. So, using different email addresses to register with multiple casinos can get you into trouble (account termination, loss of funds etc).

This is true, trying to curcumwent restricitons is risky. And not only because your account can be frozen, but also because maybe you shouldn't gamble in the first place?

I would contact support, and asked them why was I restricted instead of trying to circumvent the restriction. It is very likely that your knowledge of tracking is inferior to that of their technicians, so, if are not one of those tech savvy guys from Mission Impossible, don't try to beat them on that field.
2272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 19, 2023, 08:32:08 AM
There's an odds boost from duelbits, if you bet over 2.5 goals on Barcelona vs Manchester United the odds was from @1.70 become @2.50. I think the possibility of 3 goals in this match is quite small because Barcelona doesn't score a lot goals even though they're win streak while Manchester City did score many goals but they're not always win. I think draw no bet option is more worthy if you want to bet Manchester United, since the odds is @3.35.

Unfortunately, I can't go by the link because the site isn't working for me for like a week now. I'm trying in different browsers, but the result is always the same

2273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 19, 2023, 08:08:50 AM
~ The technology used on that AI program is something into a highest level.

That's the reason it can give predictions and speculations close to being accurate because it has lots of sources used to form an analyis.

In gambling related, if it's used as reference, nothing wrong on doing that as long as not totally relying all our bets with it.

We can check how it works and how accurate its predictions are, betting $0.20 at a time. We can make many such bets before we decide whether to rely on it or not. And even if we are satisfied with the results, we shouldn't "totally rely" on anything if by "totally relying" you mean risking more than we can afford to lose.

2275  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: February 18, 2023, 01:08:25 PM
Yeah, you are right. That's what I've been doing for the last year or so. I enjoy participating in these contests by Stake. As for this particular challenge, Money Train 3, I did hit a pretty good multiplier but it wasn't enough to beat Eddie's 300x. Still was a decent win though. Smiley
Damn. That's epic. I don't remember the last time I hit a 200x multiplier in casino games while 300x is even crazier. Am satisfied with my 100x multiplier wins in casino games since I tend to hit bigger multipliers through parlays in sports-betting.

My recent big parlay win was close to 750x where my base bet was around 20 cents due to which I earned a healthy profit.

I hit another one. Wasn't that bad too. I guess. Smiley ,

for the ongoing challenge, The Bomb. It's still almost two days left till the end. Try your luck. And I wish you to hit a good one!

As for your 750x win on a multibet, it's amazing. Congrats! My personal record is 100x so far, but I'm trying hard to beat it. And I'm sure I will one day. Smiley

~ @Betwrong how long do you need to get the x200 multiplier? I guess it is more than 30 minutes or even 1 hour  Huh

It took me around 40 minutes, cumulatively. I played several times, 10 minutes each time. But sometimes, it takes less than 5 minutes to hit the desired multiplier. Like with this one in particular:

It took me less than 20 spins to hit! Can you imagine? You can. You play slots yourself. I know. Smiley
2276  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: February 18, 2023, 10:39:19 AM

Attracting high rollers to your platform is a good thing, of course, but I would suggest to not ignore gamblers who might wager just $10 per month on your site. Make the place attractive to such people as well because there might be many millions of them, and, although staking a little, they can generate a huge turnover due to the number of them.
That is a good point , because mostly being mentioned are High rollers who wager 3 digits in up per roll/bet , but those smaller roller are being ignored while the truth is? that army are being spread around the world , 10-100 dollars per month maybe a peanut amount but gathering a thousands or million of us(considering that I am one)  will generate big amount also to the similar site they are going to play. ~

Those are our speculations, but it would be interesting to see some real stats on this matter. I'm pretty sure that small bettors overall generate more than high rollers, but I have no real evidence of that. Why I'm so sure though, is because you can bet just one cent on some known slots, and if it's in-house games you can even bet with much less. If gambling sites were interested in high rollers only, there would be no options like that.
2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Play’n Go Games and Experience on: February 18, 2023, 09:45:57 AM
~
What’s your favorite Play’n Go games and what’s the highest multiplier you get on playing their slot games? Share your experience.

I like playing Play'n Go slots because of the possibility of making small bets, like $0.10, and in some cases, like with Legacy of Dead, with as little as $0.01. But not only because of that. I like the music, the themes and the animation.

As of the highest multiplier, I did hit around 400x once, but it was with just one cent bet, so my win was only $4.

What's funny is that after reading your post I decided to play some Play'n Go right away, and just within a few spins I got a pretty decent win:

So, thanks for your post, mate! Smiley
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recommend your Favorite Slots on: February 18, 2023, 08:08:14 AM
The weekend is upon us. After a very demanding work week, I've made the decision to unwind this weekend by playing some fresh slots at online casinos. My budget- I'm going to spend at most $150 and test out 5-7 new slot machine games. The slot games I play the most include Wanted, Dead or Wild, Legion Gold, Folsom Prison, and Fire in the Hole. I need something new. I'd appreciate it if you could suggest your favorite al slot game for me to try.

After there are enough responses, I'll lock the thread.

I'd suggest you to try Money Train 3 by Relax Gaming. Being a huge fan of Money Train 2, I didn't like the sequel at first. But them I tried it again, ... and again. And time and time again I liked the slot more and more.

This is my recent win on Money Train 3:

But what I like the most about this slot is probably this

I want to hit it one day. With a $0.10 bet it will be only $10k, but for me it will be enough. Smiley

2280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 Oscar Awards betting and discussions on: February 18, 2023, 07:33:33 AM
What happened to The Fabelmans?

It started as the favorite to win Oscar for best picture, but now it is being given odds of 15.00. I posted the odds from stake.com a few days ago. But odds have drastically changed since then. Latest odds are as follows (please compare them with my previous post):

Best picture:

Everything Everywhere All at Once: 1.44
The Banshees of Inisherin: 3.75
Top Gun: Maverick: 13.00
The Fabelmans: 15.00
Tár: 36.00
All Quiet on the Western Front: 36.00
Women Talking: 81.00
Elvis: 101.00
Avatar: The Way of Water: 101.00
Triangle of Sadness: 101.00

Idk, I never thought The Fabelmans had a chance. When I first saw Everything Everywhere All at Once, I said, "This film will get an Oscar for the Best picture!".  I said "first" because by now I've seen it 3 times. But then I saw Triangle of Sadness, and my heart melted. Saw it 4 times, and going to see more. I think these two movies have an equal chance, but in this situation it is better, of course, to bet on the latter, considering 101.00 odds.

Actually, I saw all the movies nominated for Best picture(except Avatar) and most of the others, so I'll be back to this thread, I love this time of year, when you can bet on Oscars! Smiley
