2261  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 10, 2023, 10:40:01 AM
~ And for people with zero tickets it is especially important.

I support this too. A counter displaying the remaining number of bets (sats) to get a golden ticket in the hi-lo game would be a useful feature for many users. So I think if freebitcoin developers wish, they can easily implement such a feature because it shouldn't be a difficult task for them. By the way, if a user has a desire, he can write such a counter (script) himself using the console in a browser, although I'm not sure that would be a good idea because freebitcoin may interpret it as a violation of its rules.

I hope our requests for this counter will not be buried under other comments, and @wetsuit, @TheQuin or @freebitco.in PR will reply on whether it's possible to install it. I think such a counter would increase wagering on the site, because many of those that are mainly there for the faucet would try to wager 500,000 satoshi to have at least one Golden Ticket.
2262  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How pessimistic do you feel about the new year of 2023 ? on: January 10, 2023, 09:59:37 AM
I feel pessimistic for the world, just by the pure mathematics of fiat currency and the bogus political system. I am optimistic for myself and my circle though.

Well, that can be enough, actually. Being not big figures in politics we cannot affect the unfolding of events on a high level. It will go its own way, regardless of whether we are pessimistic or optimistic about it.

Thinking of yourself and your circle is more realistic, and can be more productive for you in the end, than contemplating about the world's problems.

I think that they have no interest to spend time playing low stakes oO but i believe you. The same time i never meet overskilled players in such tournaments.
As for me, you always have to play yourself to understand why it works and how it works. When you look videos you see what they do, but don`t understand why. May be i mistake, but i think that you need play by yourself to level up.

No, you are absolutely right, it goes without saying that practice is very important. What I meant was that you don't necessarily need to play with the best of the best to learn from them, you can watch how they play on YouTube. But, of course, as in any other field, theoretical knowledge is nothing without practice.

I personally think that playing in free-to-enter tournaments is bad for your knowledge of the game, but starting from a $1 buy-in you can get a good initial practice, and then move to a $10 buy-in, which is actually better.

So they fixate the exchange rate on the day the deposit was made. I did not know that. Good that they take exchange rate risks on them. Then I wonder how they felt when the exchange rate went up during bull market and gambler like me thought they would get a higher amount than they have deposited. I think their support felt a lot of angry complains about that. ~

I don't know how they do it technically, probably buying some stable coins right away, or something, but that's how it is. Your USD balance on Duelbits is always the same, regardless of the rate. It's good for you if you make a deposit when BTC is on its peak, and not that good if BTC starts rising right after you made a deposit, but if its not significant amount, it doesn't really matter.
2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 10, 2023, 08:16:08 AM
I still haven’t tried this out yet to see how it could work, but I do like all the discussion surrounding it. Personally, I don’t see why using AI would be any different than betting with a newsletter or following someone else’s picks. Who knows, maybe AI would be better. Without trying it out it’s hard to say, but next time I’m messing with ChatGPT I’m definitely going to give it a little test.

Please do it. Maybe you will find a way to circumvent this restriction

but I personally can't imagine how to do it. I think for sports betting you need the latest information about many things that can contribute to the outcome, and if the AI doesn't have access to this information, it can't make the prediction.

(In the picture is the response of ChatGPT to a question about current events).

Total eligible participants 500+ users for $1000 prize pool yes you will get about $4 is it worth what you spend? ~

In this particular case it was totally worth it. At first I lost around $10 before hitting that 159x and winning $31.80. I knew with my 159x I won't make it to the top 25, and I was right

see, you needed at least 506x to win $25. But since my account is Level two verified, I'm getting 100% extra on the basic reward, so it was $4 instead of just $2

So in the end I was $25 in profit from participating in this challenge.  What can I say? I'm happy. Smiley Thank you, Stake!
2270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: January 09, 2023, 12:29:05 PM
~ Yeah, Video poker and "Poker" specifically are not the same. Video poker is just a casino game like slots while Poker is a game of skill which one may also find in a casino but it is PvP. Regarding sites that have poker with crypto. My only recommendation is SWC. They have been there for a very long time and from the ones I've tried. The only one I trust.

Actually it's still a question to me whether Video poker is absolutely the same as slots, where you can't affect the outcome in any way. Like, for example, if you were always ignoring a good hand, like a full house or four of a kind, or even better, that were given to you, and were holding nothing, but were exchanging all the cards all the time, would the result after, say, 50 games, be the same as if you were holding the "good" cards? I read that skillful poker players have significantly higher odds of winning, but I'm not sure if that is the case in reality.

As for SWC, I support you. Currently it's one of the best sites to play crypto poker, from my experience.
2271  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: January 09, 2023, 09:57:01 AM

Though there risk and stakes are high in having a huge capital and trying to like out performed those current casinos. As I've noticed now that most gamblers settle now on their casino which they already established trust and also they don't want to try a new casinos. Though if we say there is a new casino that is going out they have huge capital on the business and on the promotion I would say new gamblers would really try it out and also those old gambling wont shift to that new casino but for sure they will try, the new casino still needs to establish trust between their customers and money cant buy it.

Not only new gamblers, but also those playing for years on the platforms they trust and love, they will surely try out a relatively new platform about which people around are talking positively. They will not switch to that platform even if they find it very attractive, but they can add it to the list of their favourites, and will be visiting the site from time to time.

Congratz mate! Those are some good odds as well, I understand you wanted to have bigger, but these are quite large as well compared to most, remember most people wager on single games and wager bigger, so that they would make a good return, like a thousand dollars on a 1.30 odd game to make 300 dollar profit type of deal, that's majority of gamblers in the world and I have seen plenty "masters" that sell "tricks" and most do this.

So, what you did is definitely a big deal and definitely deserves a huge credit. I hope that 2023 will go on like this for you and for all of us and we would have so much profits and have fun at the same time, kudos.

Thank you, @wiss19! I too wish you profits and fun.

After all, that's all we need from gambling, profits and fun, right? It's always small profits for me because I'm making very small bets. But then, for the very same reason, my losses can't ruin my fun. Smiley

~

Congrats, Betwrong. There aren't many people on the forum who try high-odd combined bets. Even when there are they don't share it too much. I can't get the chance to make combined bets these times because of making bets less than the old times. However I also want to share my combined bets here as soon as possible. Cheesy

Do it, mate! I sincerely wish you to win a good multi bet because for me, as I'm sure for many others in this thread, it's a pleasure to see good wins, ours or others' doesn't matter.

I have about 10 referrals that gamble constantly and you`re right - really big gamblers just 2 of them. But i even didn`t thought that they can bring me such money. Of course it is their choice, but i hope that they wouldn`t stop gambling Smiley

Being in your place, I would hope for that too. Smiley I would also hope for them to stay rich as they are today so that they could afford to wager such big amounts.

~
You don't need to be in Silicon Valley or need to have any of the things you have mentioned to promote your affiliate link in an effective way. None of the people I talked about have any of this.
As I said you need to know how and where to promote your ref link. Maybe you are targeting the wrong audience and this is why you didn't get the results you were expecting!

But you do need an audience. A big one, and also with many rich gamblers in it. The thing is that, if you are not an influencer, people will just ignore your posts. They won't be reading them, let alone registering via your links. That's what I think, but maybe there are places I don't know about, where everything is different?
2274  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 08, 2023, 12:51:59 PM
I want to add PrimeDice, FortuneJack, Freebitco.in, Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io, because those are definitely great online casinos and they are safe too.

But I would like to warn the OP that choosing an honest and safe to play platform is not enough to be assured that you will not lose a huge amount of money to gambling. Yes, first of all you should choose a trustworthy platform, but in addition to this you should never risk more money than you can afford to lose.
Not that bad of addition, I tried most of these casinos in the past too and didn't even have any issue playing with them, no hassles whatsoever. It's always been the same notion that keeps being repeated and I hope newbies try to keep that in mind first rather than just rushing on things like blind gambling without thinking the risks involved.
Gambling is already risky but a lot of people make it even more risky because they play on any random casinos without checking their reputation first and then these people are completely new in gambling not unlike to us experienced gamblers who equipped ourselves first with some strategies before we go inside the gambling arena.
~

Gambling is risky, but playing(and especially depositing your money) on a random platform is not "risky", it's stupid. Everything is arranged in such a way that if you can find no reviews about an online casino, it's almost guaranteed they will scam you. It's like playing a lottery, only there's no jackpot as we know it. The jackpot in that case is the site turned out to be honest. I don't know why anyone should play this game.
2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Types Newbies Should know About on: January 08, 2023, 12:20:13 PM

For me, most times, multi bets is not all about winning, because if it should be based on this all the time, majority of gamblers could easily give up trying out multi betting out of frustrations.
Like i mentioned earlier in another topic, sometimes, i personally enjoy looking at the amount of money i could win if the games in my multi bet slip all push through.~

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean! Smiley

I just placed a bet after reading your post

for this very reason. Regardless of whether I'll win or not, I like seeing those numbers, my potential win. I think my all time record odds were around 10k. I lost that bet with 10k odds, and since then I'm making more realistic ones, but I think once in half a year it's cool to make such bets, so I'll keep making them, with that frequency.

And also, multi bet games are full of suspense and more enjoyable than single betting, this is because as one game is ending, and you happen to win it, depending on the arrangement of the games in your multi bet slip, you are already looking forward to the next game and hoping you win that too, this is how it goes on until that game that makes or break the slip comes into play. Grin

Exactly. A five-leg multibet is incomparably more exciting than 5 separate single bets. And if you try to bet with minimum amount, like I do, it's 5 times cheaper too. Wink
2276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: January 08, 2023, 11:26:42 AM
~ I'm sure those reputable gambling sites today won't do some sh*t especially the considered big ones already in the industry.

That's right, it's a bit different with reputable gambling platforms than with centralized exchanges, even with those used by millions. We've heard lots of stories about big exchnges disappearing with people's money, but I don't remeber a single one about something similar happening with a big and reputable gambling site.

These industries are so different that I wouldn't expect a "domino effect" here.

- What would you like to see?
~

Although there are thousands of seemingly different slots, most of them start looking the same after you play them long enough. I would like to see a slot with a totally new conception, something gamblers have never seen before. I know it's something that is extremely hard to translate into reality, but what I'm pretty sure about is that most gamblers would try such a slot at least once.

I tried the Bitcasino exclusive game... the Bitcasino Billion.  Did a base bet with a double chance and I spawned a 4 scatter that gives a bonus round and it pays! The bonus round ended with $165 wins from a $0.20 bet base bet.

Very nice! Congrats, mate!

Bitcasino Billion is one of my favourite slots, and today, since it's my birthday, I couldn't resist from trying my luck with it. And although in theory the slot shouldn't be caring about it being a special date for me, it did care in practice. Smiley

Even without doubling my chance of hitting the bonus round, I got four of these nice guys, , within the first 10 rolls:

and from there it went good, as always. Smiley

Will buy some great beer with the winnings.

Thanks, Bitcasino Billion! Smiley
2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: January 07, 2023, 10:16:17 AM
~ Such calculations are a common thing that many gamblers have made but unfortunately, the calculations will not always come true due to the luck factor. The prize money gamblers can win is very attractive and keeps gamblers coming back for more.

Those calculations are correct, and I would call them scientific ones in the sense that the more experiments conducted, the more obvious it becomes that it's a positive EV game. But the thing is that by the condition in the OP we can bet only once, and thus we have 83% chance of losing and we have no opportunity to recover the loss in the future taking advantage of the fact that it's an EV+ game. In such a case betting more than you can easily afford to lose is not a wise move.
2280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiners kill Bitcoin, and governments are happy, boycott the CEXs on: January 07, 2023, 09:31:39 AM
Centralized exchanges report all your activities only if an order has been issued by a court, or something like that. They are not doing it by default, right?
As soon as you complete KYC on an exchange, then that exchange is cross referencing the data you provide them with identity data held by your government, so immediately your government can know that you have opened an account with that exchange. ~

I didn't know about that, and now I don't know how to verify this information, but considering your reputation I believe you. I must say, it sucks then. And not because I think all governments are evil by nature(I'm not an anarchist), but because it's a fact that there are bad guys in any government, and they can try to use the info against you.
