SCAM ALERT
2263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 29, 2020, 08:08:35 AM
It actually turned out great if you think about how far we have come compared to everything else. Right now world is in shambles, all companies are thinking how they suppose to make any money, think about all the luxury stuff that people will probably stop buying right now, everyone is trying to save themselves, sure bread sales are probably same, TP sales are through the roof, but think about all the things you do not need right now.

Think about apple, they both have a place in china that they are unsure about manufacturing, plus in USA and all around the world, you think people are going out and buying apple products right now? There is no way that could happen right now. So people will soon realize that apple stock is as worthless as apple products, bitcoin is where it is at.
2264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: March 28, 2020, 06:44:36 PM
Maybe, but we are my really sure about that. I already heard that lots of people in China are no longer making use of bank notes and are now making use of WeChat Pay, whereas for other countries it is PayPal. People might be avoid cryptocurrencies because they are volatile, stable coins don’t even stand a chance here because no one knows about them, unlike Bitcoin you’re not going to find places where stable coins are being accepted.

Maybe a time will come when people will start investing in Bitcoin, all these things might have happened and discouraged a lot of people, but don’t be surprised that the price might pump at anytime.

Just wondering...  If everybody is risk adverse and holding cash due to the break down of the price and the outbreak, wouldn't a lot of people in the space hold USDT too?  I think FJ should start accepting USDT deposits (all three issued in Omni, Tron and the Ethereum).
USDT does make sense if it wasn't tether behind it. I am not against the idea of a stablecoin, they are actually quite good and right now USDT is the big one that everyone uses and there is an increasing demand for it, they literally just printed 120 million dollars worth of USDT recently just to cover the demand and they can literally print as much as they want as long as it gets bought there is no trouble for them. They can literally print 10 billion dollars and sell to market and as long as people are willing to buy it there is no problem.

A power like that should not belong to a company like tether or bitfinex that constantly gets sued by governments and even has to work with a bahamian bank to avoid regulations and simply steal your money. So, concept of stablecoin is cool, USDT is not.
There ARE a lot of people who are buying USDT right now, so much so that tether had to print out 120 million more USDT in order to cover the need from the people and that demand is actually quite incredible. 120 million NEW usdt printed, not total, which means there was a rush towards USDT that had to be covered with 120 million freaking dollars.

Do not forget that there must be people who are selling USDT right now as well, not quite a lot but there must be some. It means just in the past week there was probably 150 million dollars all bought with bitcoin to move towards USDT. That tells you why bitcoin went so low for a while, people wanted to stay in cash and see what happens but they didn't want to turn into fiat neither, they do not trust banks. People literally started using USDT as a bank account, thats awesome.
2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance charity launches with $1million donation. on: March 28, 2020, 12:44:38 PM
To be sincere , I now see Binance as the biggest exchange and not just the biggest, but the number one exchange in the cryptocurrency community. I have never seen any other exchange that has done as much as Binance has done, these people have really contributed a lot and I’m starting to love this.

If in future the government should decide to shut down cryptocurrency exchanges , this is the only cryptocurrency exchange that doesn’t need to be shut down, others can go down for all I care, but not Binance, they have really done a lot since they started. Anytime there are problems like this, it’s only Binance that I know that comes up and show support. Binance is the best Smiley.
2267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: March 27, 2020, 08:31:30 PM
It doesn't have to be people who do not understand crypto all that well, I get that many people got into bitcoin because they heard somewhere that their friends friends friend bought bitcoin back in the day and now quite rich, I literally had a friend I haven't seen over a year ask me if I got rich when I saw him on a shopping mall once because bitcoin was 20k at the time, well I wasn't because I didn't had money before that and what I got in helped me pay for some stuff but nowhere near "rich" levels neither.

So, all those people who do not quite grasp bitcoin did got out and I can understand that. However, people who do know bitcoin got out as well, this was a corona virus pandemic break, I can totally understand why people may want to stay in cash during this time.
2268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 27, 2020, 08:20:21 PM
There is a limit what we can call "affecting bitcoin". Does it affecting bitcoin directly and the blockchain?
No, it is not doing that at all, however if we look at the price we can see that it is affected somehow. How do we decide that has an impact or not?

Well, when we look at the price we know there is a impact of coronavirus on bitcoin, maybe not the way we are used to but it does have an impact.

Maybe it is not affecting blockchain, maybe it is not changing anything on the core of it, but that is just one part of bitcoin. When you say that the price is affected because of the panic, that "panic" is what the corona is bringing to other stuff as well, sure the companies are affected more but there could be different levels of impact as well so we can't say there is only one way to impact it.
2269  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: March 26, 2020, 09:00:55 PM
USA will be affected in the short term as well, nobody talks about that but they are on an election year, which means that normally they have bunch of other topics to talk about yet here they are not talking about the elections.

This would only work for Donald Trump because he will not have to face their opponent as much as he would otherwise, plus there was a lot of talks about "blue no matter who" before all of this started but there is a rising number of Bernie voters (I would be if I was American) that decided not to vote for Biden as well and on top of that a lot of time allocated for the upcoming elections are now pure corona as well.

It means basically Trump will most likely win, and when he wins he will spend money and time to make sure companies get paid and that will be temporary solution which will be exactly like today in the future, so the whole nation will be screwed in short and long term.
2270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: March 26, 2020, 08:29:14 PM
Trading is just on a world of its own when compared to other two, it doesn't have the thrill of the others but it also provides food for your table if you know what you are doing. On gambling there is usually a house edge unless you are playing a pvp game like poker against other players but even with that house gets their cut from the pot so it is not really perfect.

On binary things are a bit different but honestly you can not really trust yourself when it comes to binary since it is insanely risky as well, one mistake and all your money gone and that is too much risk to take for me. However when it comes to trading it is less riskier and it usually is simple if you know what you are doing and you give it some time to recover when you fail as well.
2271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In Bearish Phase, Is This a Good Move to safe Capital? on: March 26, 2020, 06:42:36 PM
Well, the amount of USDT and USDC increased in millions during this time, people wanted to get USDT like crazy because they didn't want to go out to fiat currency but they didn't want to stay in bitcoin as well so they moved to USDT. We all know that tether company and bitfinex look as shady as it comes and they have literally printed USDT to pay for the law related problems they faced when they were sued and all of that but when it comes to actually getting away from crypto market people still use them.

So, that means it was a safe move to be in stable currency, maybe when you look at the price increases you may think that you are too late but you can still get in from this price, but meanwhile it was smart to not to move to fiat and lose even more.
2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italian Red Cross accepts BTC as donations to fight the corona virus on: March 26, 2020, 06:05:01 PM
This is a very good thing, there are people who would like to make their donations in Bitcoin and this will give them the chance to do so. I have seen someone ask question once on this forum whether there are any Charity organization that are accepting Bitcoin as means of donation. I didn’t know of any one that was accepting Bitcoin as of then and it was earlier this year that the question was asked in this forum. So, I know that there are others that might be looking for such an opportunity to give what they can afford to give and this is that opportunity.

2274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: March 24, 2020, 06:56:31 PM
I may not plan for visiting casinos even after the outbreaks of corona will be settled down. Because, it is not advisable to visit crowded places immediately even after any kind of vaccination will be invented. There will be no harm if we take time before everything will be alright to visit a place just for the reason of entertainment; I mean a casino is not an inevitable place unlike what we need to be there for fulfilling our responsibilities without fail.

I like to suggest everyone to take time before planning about visiting casinos and any other crowded places too. Because, we are at the highest emergency situation of our lifetime hence we should not immediately believe into any type of curing process will be declared for making places safe to visit.
2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 24, 2020, 06:07:24 PM
World wide Greece got the highest age limit to get into gambling still I believe there should be uniform restriction world wide which should be above 30 years so that we can expect everyone will be gambling responsibly.

Some studies are indicating that men are realizing about their social and family responsibility only after 30 years of old. Women are quicker in this category but varies from 22 to 28 based on education and cultural environments. So, I guess to prevent the all dangers of gambling, I guess world wide gambling age restriction should be st above 30 years. This way we can expect less gambling addicted people and people may not lose big like how they are doing currently at younger ages.
2276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping as a gambler? on: March 23, 2020, 07:05:11 PM
Not just with gambling, whenever I am feeling ambitious and curious to achieve something then on those days I will have difficulty to sleep.

Let me talk about more specific to gambling, whenever I do come across a new gambling strategy or derivating a gambling strategy from the idea I got from this community, I will not go sleep until I'm finding my final result because even I will be trying to sleep, I may not fall asleep. Instead of struggling in bed, I opt for trying out till the final result before getting back to bed.

I believe all the people who are passionate about gambling and about dreaming on achieving something in gambling will be having similar habits. At the same time if we are not careful then this kind of habits will definitely lead to severe gambling addictions.
2277  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: March 22, 2020, 07:14:28 PM
Today there is also esports notthebahgp or something, I totally forgot the name but it will start soon tonight so get your places ready for that as well. During this time it is definitely better for people to move to esports and move to online gaming because honestly anything that requires physically being anywhere outside your home is very dangerous right now.

I am seeing people who are seeing this as unimportant and still continue their life like nothing is going on and those people are very very dangerous, if you see someone like that online just remind them that they are not only putting themselves in danger (which if they want to, have their right, who cares) but they are also putting others they are in contact with in danger as well which is the real trouble here.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play gambling that require skills and techniques. on: March 22, 2020, 04:01:51 PM
There are different kind of people into gambling and most of them do not want to challenge themselves while finding entertainment for self-satisfaction purposes. I mean to say most gamblers may not like the games which are requiring skills and techniques while playing. They want their gambling as simple as possible and this could be the reason why dicing is more successful in this crypto gambling world.

I agree there are kind of people who love only sportsbetting because it requires their skills and knowledge and due to this kind of requirements, they are successful with sportsbetting but most other gamblers are not gambling for making money but for entertainment reasons hence they never look for skills and techniques based gambling.
2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you use for gambling frequently? on: March 21, 2020, 04:46:31 PM
I think we need to completely separate the crypto money we buy for investment and the crypto money we use for gambling. Personally, from this point on, I will use as many USDTs as possible for gambling.
Tether? On which gambling house? I have never seen any crypto gambling house is supporting for gambling (I am sure I have played in all reputed houses). What are the backing points for switching to a stable coins for gambling? I mean, could you please justify your decision of adopting usdt for your gambling? I guess you might be a fiat gambler and now in crypto houses, you choose usdt for convenient and easy calculations, right?

I do gamble only with bitcoin and I never think about converting my bitcoins into another coin before gambling. Moreover, I never think about other coins for my gambling but for no reasons. I just started gambling in bitcoins and still gambling with bitcoins for no specific reasons.
2280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 19, 2020, 09:25:25 AM
I have been playing online ever since, I am not a kind of guy who likes to go to a physical casino and play, so as a gambler I am not so affected with the conona virus threat. I have some friends who really go to a real casino, maybe I could teach them to just play online, my favorite is sports betting but season was cancelled, so maybe its time to try to explore difference kind of games.
I have downloaded a ton of games so far, my steam suddenly got a lot bigger in the recent days because we are stuck at home, however nothing gives that adrenaline rush of gambling neither.

I can't gamble all that, there is no way I can spend that much time but more importantly that much money on gambling so I gamble maybe an hour a day, two if I got lucky a bit, but that is about it, and even that is not every day honestly, so I still have to play computer games and online ones against other people do give me some sort of rush, it is still not a lot because I am not too good, if I was really good I would maybe feel some entertainment for maybe winning maybe losing situations but I usually go first so I don't get that fun feeling, on gambling I am quite better than gaming Cheesy.
