MicroGuy, saw your video on YouTube (from May re: GLD and Max) and it actually made me go out and buy nearly 10,000 GLD (and some Max).
I have to a ask though, given the massive oversupply of alt-coins now, something which was hard to see last year when these coin specs were chosen and launched, wouldn't it be a good idea to do an update cutting back the subsidy (inflation) and the max coin supply (dilution)?
Many top coins are doing it and it has been well received and it's going well for them. When demand picks up again later this year, led by Bitcoin, coins with lower inflation rates and max dilution should perform considerably better than coins which did not make the adjustments (equivalent of stock BuyBacks).
Even MaxCoin did an effective subsidy cut which should really help lower their inflation rate.
At any rate, thanks for the informative video and I hope you seriously consider my proposal.

At first i would like to apologize if my topic isn't in correct forum and for my bad english And now i would like to know, how can learn, does fork so good? Maybe there are some specifications influence it? For example algorithm, block reward, block generation or total coins? It's clear that innovations make coin so attractive, but i saw coins there was nothing new but prices flew up to clouds. I'm not technical but can you rip off the basic shell of a coin, use another programming language to cover it up more and say it's started 'from scratch' as a non technical person I personally don't have the skills to look at 'new' coins and know if they are ultimately and to what degree they have 'borrowed' ideas off NXT. As far as I know, BCX would be a decent Altcoin mod. I'm familiar with the controversies which happened, what like two years ago? I will say that BCX has been a longstanding member of the alt coin community, and while rather blunt in most cases, would know what they are doing.
