2281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Books for trading, suggestions pls on: February 17, 2023, 09:45:35 AM
But I want to get on another level and I'm in search for literature.
What do you mean by literature? Do you mean the philosophy behind trading? And how will this benefit in developing your trading skills, given that it talks about a background far from technical analysis.
In general, trading is great and focusing on what you want is the best. Bitcoin trading is considered the most difficult due to the difference in how the market direction is determined.
2282  Economy / Economics / Re: Cheap food: can you beat this price in your country? on: February 16, 2023, 08:50:26 PM
The cheapest food you can find in my country is two hundred dollars a month. It is impossible for an ordinary person to live on $35 a month. Perhaps that is possible in your country.
You can eat a piece of bread with some milk for one dollar, so the least possible thing is thirty dollars a month for one piece of loaf that may not satisfy you, let alone stay for a whole day with it.
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is suitable and reliable for staking? on: February 16, 2023, 08:42:43 PM
Hello,
The Trust Wallet supporting following coins for staking:

  • Polkadot (DOT)
  • Solana (SOL)
  • NativeEvmos (EVMOS)
  • Osmosis (OSMO)
  • Kava (KAVA)
  • Cosmos (ATOM)
  • Teraa Classic (LUNC)
  • Tezos (XTZ)
  • TRON (TRX)
  • BNB (BNB)
  • Cardano (ADA)

The NativeEvmos (EVMOS) staking reward is 97.09% and the Osmosis (OSMO) reward is 23.08%. Are these coins reliable?

Thank you.

It is better to avoid Teraa Classic (LUNC) because it is scam, Solana (SOL) & Polkadot (DOT) are centralized currencies with an unknown future.
TRON (TRX), BNB (BNB), Cardano (ADA) and Cosmos (ATOM) are famous currencies and therefore they are good, but they are not the best, especially with the fluctuation of prices towards the bottom.
I dont know anything about NativeEvmos (EVMOS) so Osmosis (OSMO) maybe the best.
2284  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Selling Legendary account (BROOP) on: February 16, 2023, 08:06:22 PM

If you have a legendary account, why do you want to sell that account? There used to be a lot of such account selling posts on this forum, most of which were scams.
If it is true that he owns that account, then it is most likely that it is an old account, and therefore it will become difficult for the user to collect more merits, which means that selling the account for 700 dollars is better than waiting for several weeks without joining the signature campaign.
This is if he is not trying to defraud users or sell a hacked account.
In any case, buying these accounts will lead you to lose your money sooner or later.
2285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It feels good to learn something new about Bitcoin almost every day on the forum on: February 16, 2023, 07:31:28 PM
It's good that you thought it was Bitcoin.org and not Bitcoin.com, at least they don't support the so-called big blocks scam.
Create one topic for all the things you have done and update it every once in a while instead of creating a new topic because we learn a lot daily, and thus you will regain others in learning instead of publishing a lot of topics that will not benefit much.
2286  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto aid for Turkey exceeds $4.5M in one week on: February 16, 2023, 07:25:04 PM
Other crypto are donating to Syria as well probably in a different way, and maybe the sanctions are lifted for the sole purpose of donating for the earthquake victim.

Crypto community are doing their part to help people and this is not the first time we donate something to the victim of natural calamity and disaster, let’s just hope that we are sending money to the right person so our help will reach the people in need.
The role of cryptocurrencies would be great if they were donated while the sanctions continued, because they are an indication of the decentralization of Bitcoin.
We only hope that it reaches its beneficiaries and thus they benefit from it, as the situation is catastrophic and they need every dollar that is donated.
2287  Economy / Goods / Re: I would like to purchasing items from Amazon, Apple, or google. on: February 16, 2023, 07:11:39 PM
You can buy items from Amazon and send them to me, and I will receive and sell them.
You will receive payment instantly for whatever you send.
Your account is new, without a commercial record, so how do you ask people to send electronic things to you in the hope that you will sell them and then make profits for them? And what makes people buy from you instead of Amazon? How will you guarantee customer money, and how will you ensure that you will sell those products? How will the profits be shared?

Whatever you are trying to present is misleading and unknown.
2288  Other / Meta / Re: 5700+ posts, 1000+ activity, 0 Merit, Still Newbie. Ver2023 on: February 16, 2023, 03:09:25 PM
I used to think that his posts are of low quality, but it is more like a bot that fills out applications, and therefore it is not surprising that he does not get a single merit because what he does is far from the discussions.

Even banning such accounts is meaningless unless some restrictions placed  such as 1 to 10 merits.
2289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: Malicious PyPi package found, replacing crypto related addresses on: February 16, 2023, 02:24:10 PM
From what I understand, its because you have installed the legitimate one and not those typosquatted TensorFlow packages that can be properly installed to your machine when any of the following has been entered on your terminal or anaconda notebook.
This makes sense now, generally I only use readonly wallet with my online device,  so the false sense of security is not good especially with these viruses that change the receiving address.
The person should be more careful and check the address carefully before sending.
2290  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How do the biggest businesses contribute to open source software (Bitcoin)? on: February 15, 2023, 03:24:12 PM
Even if there are no open source services, they save money, and this money is what makes more people continue. I don't know how many developers work in these companies and develop open source solutions, but if I want a job in Coinbase or binance, the fastest way is to develop something open source of good quality.

So the development they provide is indirect and has a good effect in the long term.
2291  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Phishing email from Namecheap on: February 15, 2023, 03:13:35 PM
The repeated occurrence of such hacking proves two things. Either these services have become dependent on third parties. Those third parties do not assign themselves to develop security team, or that there is a huge bug in all these HW/SW and they do not know how to fix it, or that hackers have developed their methods and security methods are far away from it.

From now, I will stop trusting any email that comes from any service before  deeply checking the link provided.
2292  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to BTC price if the US defaults? on: February 15, 2023, 03:02:07 PM
The wiser question is how long will the public debt ceiling be raised, especially since it has been moving at the fastest pace in a hundred years? How will the United States solve this problem?
Printing money is the easiest solution, but we will reach a stage where printing more money is absurd. Also, the increase in the number of people who do not see the United States as an ally, the increase in payment and dealing in currencies other than the dollar are all things that must be taken into account.
2293  Economy / Economics / Re: A crypto hub: an answer to Busan aging population dilemma? on: February 15, 2023, 02:53:21 PM
South Korea is one of the countries that suffers from the problem of decreasing the number of births, and therefore the continuation of policies such as one child[1] and others will make the proportion of the elderly exceed 20% in the next few years[2]. I also remember a report that one of the cities does not have children playing in the garden, and therefore the solution to this problem is greater It's just a cryptocurrency alert.

I remember reading somewhere that they give pregnant women $600 a month, but I'm not sure about that.

Avalanche (AVAX), which Turkish professor Emin Gün Sirer founded, donated $1 million, while Waves (WAVES) founder Sasha.waves donated $50,000 on the first day.

So the vast majority of these are Avalanche (AVAX), Waves (WAVES), and the transfers did not provide a revolutionary service. For example, transfers for donations in Syria are prohibited due to international sanctions, so they are just an addition and help to the Turkish people.
2295  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC's crackdown on BUSD after banning the Staking on Kraken on: February 15, 2023, 12:43:55 PM
I do not see a clear effect of this news on the price, we are at the same previous support and resistance level, and therefore there will be no effect on the price.
The biggest problem is its impact on Binance. Are Binance reserves in this BUSD and the extent of its impact on the platform?
In general, the constant thing now is the Fed's policy of drying up liquidity from these central platforms that rely on dollar reserves as the basis for their value.
2296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Charity in the spirit of Val with Bitcoin money on: February 15, 2023, 11:51:49 AM

Quote to show images.

It's a nice initiative from you, but what do you mean by token? Is it one of the altcoins or what? And does the mother know what cryptocurrencies are and how they use them, otherwise they will end up losing them and thus losing $20 for everyone.

Can $20 make a difference in your country if it is given in cash or changes for at least one day?
I see that some African countries are active in cryptocurrency which is special.
2297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]: Malicious PyPi package found, replacing crypto related addresses on: February 15, 2023, 11:25:06 AM

Take, for instance, the TensorFlow package, one of the popular machine learning packages in python. According to pypistats.org, as of February 2023[1], TensorFlow has been downloaded more than 15,000,000 times in the last 30 days, translating to an average of approximately 600,000 downloads per day. That alone can give you an idea how susceptible developers are when it comes to downloading malicious python packages.

[1] https://pypistats.org/packages/tensorflow

I have been using TensorFlow package for several months and it is installed on my device, but nothing happened? I did not read the details of what happened, but in general it is better to have a separate computer or phone that works as a hot wallet in addition to cold storage. Using the same computer is a waste of time.

If the information is correct, then there must be a third party, because most of these packages work offline.
2298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Delisted Alts from KuCoin!!! on: February 12, 2023, 01:20:04 PM
I have not heard of any of these coins, but whatever currency represents a great opportunity for you, if it is not listed on at least 10 crypto exchanges with good liquidity, you risk losing your investment in something that you may not be able to sell in the future.

Unfortunately, your chance now is to sell for a price much lower than its advertised price, and therefore today loss is better than a future loss.
2299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin hold, sell or trade?? on: February 12, 2023, 01:13:17 PM
JUST ZOOM OUT.
Zoom Out means investing for a longer period of time. Actually, when you do this, the probability of achieving gains is the highest, because investing in the long term is most likely profitable.

The matter does not apply to altcoins because it fails to achieve continuous demand and therefore will not succeed in keeping the price high.
Bitcoin does this due to its popularity, decentralization and real demand outside of exchanges.
2300  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PayPal Crypto Holdings Report on: February 12, 2023, 01:01:32 PM
The company's total financial assets were over $25 billion. Despite offering cryptocurrency services for more than two years, this is the first time PayPal has provided a breakdown of its crypto holdings in its annual financial report.

The answer to this question comes here.

Quote
An article on Cointelegraph [2] reports that PayPal keeps its customers' cryptocurrencies through the use of a third-party custodian.

I think that after what happened with Luna and the FTX, there has been a fear and a question from legislators about disclosing reserves and whether the platform is able to fulfill its obligations to clients or not.

I am surprised that the percentage is close to 2.5%, which is something that if most companies did, we would see big changes.
