Ripple's entire value proposition is tied to it becoming the currency of the banks. Ask yourself a simple question. Your a banker. Do you want to adopt a blockchain platform owned by outsiders where members of the public own the currency of the platform and can presumably hack the system and profit by trading that currency? Or would you rather adopt a closed system owned by the banks (like the current SWIFT system) where even if someone hacked it they could never spend or trade it?

Buy $4000 Dollars worth of ETH then start looking for upcoming ICO's that have the potential to be be big winners. If you see something you really like put 10% of your ETH into it. Go at your own pace and learn as much as you can.

I wish there was a way to short it. When the 27 major banks that are currently beta testing the blockchain platform, that the SWIFT consortium has built on behalf of their 11,000 member banks, announce they will be rolling it out XRP will go to $0.000001.
