From recollection, I've placed a wager for $20,000 - $25,000 (something like that) as I feel the price is going to drop sharply at the end of the Quarter and people are looking to cash out, or, to shift their funds to something a little more stable than the roller coaster Bitcoin has become (don't forget some of these people bought in above $60,000, so their losses at this point are huge).

@Timelord2067 Are you winning with the Origin series?
Sadly no, I'm in Queensland and we're down 1 - 0 to the NSW Blues. This weekend is Game 2 and it's "Do or die" for the Maroons with a win needed to stay in the series. Qld won last year in the "Unwinable" series (given the Broncos were the "Woodenspooners" and fill half of the Qld team). I think this year is a little different in that the scores for matches have been <20 - >40 across the board. If Qld win, it'll be close.

Recently, I've read/seen a few other threads where people have bought wallet.dat files and spun a yarn concerning how to crack the password etc.,
I see two outcomes at this point: One, the OP's HDD is "unrecoverable" and the OP will wonder for the rest of their life whether or not a Technician got greedy and just says the drive was corrupted (sorry bud) or, two, the OP comes back in a few weeks and says the data is recoverable, but the wallet.dat is password protected and then asks for our help cracking that password.

Round 15 of the 2021 Season of the NRL ended with the Manly Sea Eagles totally obliterating the Gold Coast Titans 56 - 24 !! The Sea Eagles trailed the Titans 8 - 24 at half time and then poured on 48 unanswered points with some 20 of those points in the last twenty minutes. I caught the last twenty minutes on the radio while out for a day trip and the two ABC commentators were both critical of the Titans and the Sea Eagles (the former for having been leading at half time) and the Sea Eagles apparently slowing down play once in a winning position. Round 16 does not start for another week as the 2nd game of the State of Origin Series is played this Sunday evening (changing the format from earlier years of Wednesday evenings spaced three weeks apart between the first, second and third games)... It's "do or die" for Queensland this Sunday. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F05%2F15%2Fblobf6d2b080fcdefaad.jpeg&t=663&c=duSq-FnVavjgWg) The one off Women's State of Origin is played this Friday evening, both teams need to put in a solid performance: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F05%2F15%2Fblob21e46259b2daafb2.jpeg&t=663&c=HDQdZzttm8YqRA)
I'm going to pick the Broncos, Sharks, Panthers, NZ Warriors, Raiders, Storm, Eels & Sea Eagles. (the storm and Eels as a two bet parlay paying just $1.10 combined)
Yup Broncos at the bottom of the table, its not going to happen for them.
My 3 picks won hanssomely this weekend and The Panthers are back to winning ways hopefully. It looks like a fluke win that saw The Panthers loose last week, no dobut they are back to winning form. PRO14 Rainbow Cup Final...
Sounds like some good games were played (hopefully you profited from their WIN$$$)

Bump!
New one: ![Trust score loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Floyce.club%2Ftrust%2Fimages%2F1111151.gif&t=663&c=AVWcosv-UHujiQ) See this post: [ Link] for AdkinsBET alts context.

From a cursory glance at their BPIP pages I can see: - @AdkinsBET has received merit from all five of these alts.
- The last UID to receive merit from this cluster is @mikelsmith2020
![Trust score loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Floyce.club%2Ftrust%2Fimages%2F1111151.gif&t=663&c=AVWcosv-UHujiQ)
Result (four of the five send this UID merit) - sempak both sends and receives merit from both wildan88 and gadado
- Plus, yayayo gives wildan88 merit who then gives sempak merit who then on sends merit to gadado
Conclusion:
Merit abuse by these five alts.

I'll tell you why; XmasJohn08 initially contacted me on telegram to facilitate a trade. He then asked me to send the btc prior to payment due to the fact that I am new to this forum. I declined and insisted that we use localbitcoin as escrow, in which he refused stating bogus reasons. As a result of his failed attempt to scam me, he falsely accuses me in his post without a single piece of evidence.
Hmm... So a deal never happened because the two of you couldn't agree on terms of how the exchange were to take place, so now you are calling the other side a scammer so that you can appear to be taking the high ground in this matter? Am I missing something?

With the price as high as you are suggesting (thank you for doing the calculations too by the way - it's appreciated) I feel people will either turn to products that offer small transaction fees in built (cue the Lightning Network theme song) or, they will wise up to paying higher than necessary fees and, fed up with those high fees, turn to something like coin control and drop the fee down to 1 satoshi (not one satoshi per byte, but *just* one satoshi) themselves. Were bitcoin to reach One Million Dollars US, then one satoshi would be worth one cent, so a five cent transaction would be *just* five satoshis. Coin Control as we know it would have to be modified.

Thanks for the paymen advice - I see it already has one confirmation (happy days compared to a few weeks ago when it was taking all day). Totally off topic comment, I'm loving the Beta Version of BlockChair.com 's upgrade - it seems to be more streamlined and is a simplified sample of transactions.

I wouldn't advise anyone to place another bet on the Brisbane Broncos for the reset of this season - they seem doggedly determined to be the "Wooden Spooners" for a second year running. (Serves them right too). My website of choice isn't loading properly, otherwise I'd jump on and place a bet on the Pro14 Rainbow Cup final.

Fall of the market is a good time to buy different altcoins. Now NFT are very popular and NFT are growing in price more then tokens, that is why they are so popular. Now apear evern NFT shops https://twitter.com/spacegrime/status/1396859918250958852 where you can buy differnt goods with images NFT. Now there are a lot of projects with NFT games, as gamers are actively entering the gaming industry and start buying NFT. NFT is a great opportunity to make money, especially NFT is very popular in games and attracts the attention of many players to cryptocurrencies. It's a sure-fire sign that a gimic is being touted as the next best thing when those spruking it's qualities have to replete over and over the topic's name or nature of the discussion as though somehow by repeating themselves it will convey in others' minds what their talking up has substance, when in fact it doesn't.

You can hear the fear developing in peoples minds and in their posts talking about the downward trend of Bitcoin. Maybe it's for the best if a few people get stung now so that they can serve as a warning to other potential investors of bitcoin who would want to pump the price up to unrealistic levels.
The Game Stop phenomenon is another example of investors not knowing what they are in for when the price tanks. Not really.

Wait 30-60 minutes to charge the battery, but the internal combustion engine refuels no more than 4 minutes. If you go to remote places, you can bring a fuel tank. Wouldn't that be more convenient? Tesla electric cars are trying to reach everywhere, but they can hardly reach remote places.
Maybe, maybe not. Already companies such as goalzero.com have portable power packs the size of car batteries and solar panels that allow everything from USB devices to AC mains and 6V plugs, so it's not too unreasonable to imagine that a car could carry a spare battery and transfer power to the cars' own batteries (or even recharge the batteries via solar panels). You obviously haven't been to Australia, North (Central and Southern) America, Eastern Europe (the list goes on) where there are wide open spaces and many hours of driving between one dot on the map and the next. Carrying fuel onboard is essential to travel, so carrying spare batteries and solar panels isn't as far fetched as you might imagine. Hybrid cars already recharge the batteries on the run when the vehicle is coasting / down hill etc - surely Tesla Cars do something similar to extend the drive times between actual recharges? (and who doesn't want to get out of a car on a long run for a coffee and a stretch of the legs?)

I wouldn't exactly say Ivanka Trump doesn't have any experience given she spent the last four years doing "take your Dad to work with you day." (Or was it the other way around??) and spent most, if not all of the last four years inside either Airforce One, or, The White House.
Ivanka Trump has picked up fairly valuable insight into the way D.C. runs and would help her hit the ground running should she stand for, and win the Presidency.

devs are in the process of making lightning 2.0 (layer 3) its where you dont vault up funds into a channel. but instead deposit funds into a factory multisig the factory then offchain creates channels below it in millisats. so users cant broadcast, but can close session with the factory and so the factory aggregates the channel balances and recreates new channels to rebalance the channels.
thus even less onchain transactions as it wont require onchain broadcasts/settlement to close/reopen
All of which you are opposed to as it is not done on the block-chain where it can be verified.

I have 3 bets on for this weeks round of the NRL, Rabbitohs, Eels and Storm.
Obviously The Rabbitohs have whitewashed The Broncos earlier today.
I would like to put on The Panthers but their recent run isnt great so its too risky for my liking.
Well... Early in the season I had a feeling the Broncos might pull one of their mid season stunts and suddenly spring back to life. Clearly, that hasn't happened, so I probably won't put another bet on the Broncos for the rest of the season. What I find amazing about this season is how the loosing side in a 40+ win to their opposition just doesn't do *anything* to defend their territory, or go on the offensive.

I'll dig out the link later and post it here, but I am no longer offering Testnet loans via LN or on-chain transactions. I intend to donate some testnet bitcoin to Moccacino who is facilitating short term on-chain testnet loans (link to follow). Should you wish to engage me to test the LN with testnet coins, I will do so on the stipulation you send to me and then I return to you (without collateral by me).
Mainnet LN loans are also down to BTC 0.00001 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fyoumeandbtc.com%2Fbitcoin-converter-php.php%3Fdir%3Dfrombtc%26val%3D0.00001%26cur%3Dusd%26btctype%3Dbtc%26exchange%3DBitstamp%26dec%3D8%26bgc%3DDDEEFF%26txtc%3D111133&t=663&c=gKqsbbF8R3Mzdg) and BTC 0.0000101 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fyoumeandbtc.com%2Fbitcoin-converter-php.php%3Fdir%3Dfrombtc%26val%3D0.0000101%26cur%3Dusd%26btctype%3Dbtc%26exchange%3DBitstamp%26dec%3D8%26bgc%3DDDEEFF%26txtc%3D111133&t=663&c=HqlMrG7VpZFvlg) repayment if more than 24 hours lent.
