^^ Small correction Nortje was playing today. They had 2 changes Shaw/Daniel Sams duo out and Nortje/Rahane in. Nortje didn't play the last game tho.

-----
Punjab vs SRH game looks dead to me, unless SRH collapse.
SRH is doing good as now they need only 28 of 24 balls with 7 wickets in hand KXIP is now surely out of league and SRH have some more fun time with this win even they have very tough task ahead if they want to qualify 3 out of 3 with very good rate hopefully we will have some good games in future.
That was pretty unpredictable. What happened with KXIP in first innings happened with SRH in the second innings. I think KXIP knew that the problem with SRH is that they don't have depth in their batting order at took advantage of the same. Now SRH is out of this tournament too. So the main fight is between KKR and KXIP and obviously KXIP's  next match with KKR will once again be decided for them. I thought it would be a narrow win but SRH played so bad that they lost comfortably  Roll Eyes the saddest person today would be Warner followed by @webtricks  Grin

"Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner". Finally won a round! As I said earlier, it would take 2-3 rounds to get on track, here is my performance summary:

First 2 rounds - Total Points: 5 Total Correct Predictions: 4/13

Next three rounds: Total Points: 24 Correct Predictions: 17/27 with 8 margin points.

Manish Pandey showed complete dominance today! He batted with good intent, something which was missing from his batting from long time. Last time I saw him playing with this much maturity was year and half ago in IPL12. That was April 27th 2019, I was with @teosanru and we were enjoying Misal Pao in Pune's local restaurant while watching Manish Pandey's pacy innings. Hope you remember bud  Cheesy

Good comeback from SRH, hope they would still qualify for play-offs.

Haha yeah Man! How can I forget that! Congratulation on win in this round!

SRH have made this competition even more interesting now. RR seems to be out of this tournament just like CSK. Now all eyes are on the fight between SRH, KXIP and KKR. Which will also be narrowed down after the Next match of KXIP and SRH after which the loser would be out of the tournament. I think the rest of the three teams should comfortably qualify by winning a couple of matches out of their remaining 4-5. KKR has the added edge of winning one extra match as they can afford to lose one match and could still qualify by winning the rest 3. Unfortunately KXIP and SRH do not enjoy the Luxury. Day after tomorrow's match would be pretty interesting.

Meanwhile some CSK Fans still hoping if their team can qualify for the playoffs. Grin Grin  Grin
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't PayPal decided to use xrp than Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2020, 08:03:25 PM
Please don't crucify me. Some hours ago PayPal payment system made some good decision of incorporating into their system buy and sell of Bitcoin, this has made it price to move from it former state. Basically ripple would have be the best for them IMO, seeing that ripple is the future of cryptocurrency irrespective of it centralization. As a ripple holder from inception, I did want Paypal to reconsider the use of ripple as it stand at the frontier of this era of digital currency. Hope this message get to PayPal team for appropriate actions.
I am not exactly able to understand the purpose of your post? Paypal has incorporated a method of buying and selling bitcoins just like coinbase or any other wallets so how can XRP be the first cryptocurrency? I haven't seen even a single wallet coming to XRP or other currency first without Bitcoin. Yes if the question would have been on incorporating XRP as a method of settlement of PayPal payments then I would have advocated this. But here PayPal has just become a new bitcoin wallet and nothing more than that. So your question seems illogical as to how Ripple would have been the best for them? Moreover, there is not a single use-case scenario of Ripple at a large scale I don't see Ripple as a future until now. Banks are preferring now to make their own blockchain for such settlements if that happens Ripple has zero utility.
2284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Different level of risk in crypto currency trading on: October 22, 2020, 06:10:50 PM
Hi,

I have some experience in crypto trading (far from being a master though).
One question I came across is if there are different level of risks for different cryptos? I know that generally cryptos are like stocks, ie you only can lose what you invest; but obviously there are financial products to deal with leverage etc.

But if we take a simple example: If I just would like to buy some (simple) CEL shares for 1000 $, this would be the maximum I could lose right?
The reason I am asking is that for some COINS, on coingecko there is a disclamer saying 'Highly volatile investment product. Your capital is at risk.' (which is a banner sponsored by etoro,  but it doesnt appear at all cryptos...)

I understand that with speculative cryptos you can lose part of or all of your investment, but is the risk limited to the amount i laid out? When I was trying to buy a similar crpto on binance they displayed some warning as well which confused me quite a lot...

If anyone could shed some light on this that would be appreciated.
Let me tell you a general notion. There are various types of markets. Spot/future or unleveraged/leveraged. But there generally is one rule. The amount of money deducted from your account at the time of order is the maximum amount you can lose. What I can interpret from your message is that you are confused in 2 things. Number one is the warning on coingecko. I think it might be merely a disclaimer by coingecko implying that they don't solicit you for any trade. While on Binance you might be entering trade from a future/leveraged account. In a leveraged trade you just have to keep the margin amount of your order at time of purchase with Binance and that margin is your maximum loss but Binance will liquidate your position at the liquidation price which means squaring off your position without your approval.
2285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 22, 2020, 06:04:27 PM
Sometime today, Bitcoin broke the $13k barrier and then retreated back to $12.8k.

This is Binance screenshot and now that I'm watching it, seems like it broke $13k almost a day ago.

But I'm not seeing any posts about this on the forum so I'll just post it.
Total market cap also went over $400B which is cool.

Will is stay above $13k this time?

I think a few people are saying it happened because of the PayPal integration of cryptocurrencies but I think it's merely a trend based move which was bound to happen maybe the PayPal thing just acted as an ignition for the same. Now we have entered 13k with some good volume increases. But I expect market to stay around this point for a while because if there is an upward move from here it would be pretty short-lived. But if market stays here for a while and then moves north it will be a more powerful move.
Holy smokes, I think I've slept right through it! Thank god I plan long term, gonna hodl anyway
hahaha, not only you can sleep comfortably at this time...
up to $ 15k, $ 16k, and even $ 20k in the next few days, month or year doesn't seem like a dream anymore. lets HODL until you really make a profit.
Would like to ask the HODL gang how long are you going to HODL btc? I mean are you thinking to HODL it for like next 20-30 years or what? Because anything less than that isn't holding for "long" time.
2286  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Big Short movie, BTC edition? on: October 22, 2020, 05:12:53 AM
USDT was crticized in this forum because it does not have the 100% backing of real USD. According to Bitfinex, the tethers are backed 100% again. However, how are we certain?

Bitfinex also has pending inquiries on the New York State attorney general's office.

Whether or not USDT is fully-backed has long been a point of contention. The company has promised an audit of its stablecoin reserves (though it has not delivered one, and has since dissolved its relationship with its auditor), produced a third-party report saying it likely had more funds than outstanding tokens, and had a bank write a letter vouching for its holdings. (The latter two reports both acted as snapshots, only assuring the crypto community that on specific days, Tether’s obligations did not exceed its assets.)

Source https://www.coindesk.com/tether-says-its-stablecoin-is-fully-backed-again

Also, 70% of the total bitcoin trading in the cryptospace is made in USDT. This is an old source, however, I reckon the % might be close to similar at this moment.

In August, BTC trading into USDT represented 71.23% of total volume (traded into fiat or stablecoin).

Are we sitting on a timebomb similar to the movie The Big Short?

Dr. Burry, The Big Short
I don't know why people are taking this lightly or acting as if they don't care about this. This post technically makes sense. If you say that you hate fiat but don't care what all scam is going on with USDT then you technically are giving you a false belief. But yes the amount of USDT that we have currently in market cap is pretty difficult to accomodate in reality. Moreover until now I am surprised that when we are talking about money supply of USD reaching heights why isn't the US government concerned about so much USD lying in with bitfinex? Isn't this strange?
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 22, 2020, 05:02:49 AM
Haha I think it's the first time that RCB is on the bowling side most of the time they were the side making the lowest total Lol
Very true. RCB holds the record for the lowest IPL score of 49 runs against KKR in 2017 and look at how the tables have turned now.

The toss was crucial as the wicket was fresh but the KKR captain choose to bat and it was helping the bowlers a lot and if RCB was batting first they would have struggled too.
Honestly, KKR have been lucky on multiple occasions in recent matches. For example, Punjab literally handed them a win in their recent encounter when everyone expected Punjab to win. Also, they barely won against SRH in the superover.
What happened in the last game? I missed it everything. Did RCB really bowl that well or KKR's batsmen shit the bed one more time? Mo. Siraj is man of the match so bit confuse, his figures looking juicy tho.
Hahaha Lord Siraj showed some great bowling. I don't know how today his ball was moving in the air. If you watch the highlights for the first time in IPL I have seen him bowling this kind of swing. Let's see if his able to get back his form this IPL. The credit actually goes to Kohli who trusted him. Any other captain would have shown him the way outside pretty earlier. But I think he still shouldn't be given bowling at the death. He would still bowl in his old similar fashion if given bowling at death.
2288  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 21, 2020, 07:05:31 PM
Why are governments still in control of the money printing process? how has cryptocurrency failed to make a dent?
Are we as a community too scared to challenge the status quo?
Okay so what you are trying to suggest is that we people should storm towards our respective government offices and force them to declare cryptocurrencies as a global currency? Right? You think the economic system is a joke? or were you daydreaming while writing this post? Cryptocurrency is a technology that merely is 10 years old. Trust me it is yet to see the real-world problems. Merely less than 0.1% of the global transactions are carried in cryptocurrencies and you expect the government to stop minting money for it? We are not a community of government lobbying or anarchists. We are a community that spreads awareness regarding the use of bitcoin and meanwhile developing other ways to use bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to solve our daily problems. Moreover considering the size of the world we as a community are pretty small and would have almost negligible effects anywhere. Moreover, implementation is a process. There are millions of issues that need to be resolved before inculcating cryptos in the mainstream system. Stop imagining useless scenarios.
2289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin co-exist with the current financial system on: October 21, 2020, 06:47:30 PM
Will bitcoin exist with the current financial system? Or will it become a parallel system that coexists like two countries exist side by side? I believe it will be a parallel system? The fiat money will flow from traditional to bitcoin system slowly but surely. We are already seeing some indication of that happening. Around, $7Billions, have already poured into it. It is here because it no longer 100% believes in the USD or any other currency it holds.

I was born in a poor country. During our independence 1USD = 7unit of currency. It got devaluated to such a level that now 1USD = 80 units of currency. We are worst off then we were in the 1990s. Some people have become multi-level rich. It is now one of the fastest rich producing nations, whereas the country is mega poor.

Bitcoin is the future. Does it solve the underlying problems of inequality providing utopia land? Possibly not. However, it solves the constant devaluation of currencies by governments all around the world. The world financial system is built to ensure a specific few groups of people get richer and more prosperous. That stops! Period! Rest will be what off shot applications come out of Bitcoin or Ether etc

If we just for once assume 1btc = $480,000, then we quickly realize the potential of this thing we call bitcoin.
Let's assume 1btc = $480000

We can take 1btc and buy a 2bed apartment in the heart of any significant part of the world. We can take 1bitcoin and start our own business. Bitcoin was never built to allow one to buy groceries. However, if one sees the potential to be able to transact in other places where wait time is not crucial, then one soon realizes that bitcoin has a place that will ultimately change the world. You want to buy a car. Bitcoin likely can do that in the future. You want to buy a home. Bitcoin. You want to start a business. Bitcoin. You want to purchase a yacht. Bitcoin. You want to pay utilities that does not need to be paid instantly (usually you get time to pay those). Bitcoin. You want to pay you credit card bills that give you a few weeks to pay. Bitcoin. You want to pay your vendors that live overseas and don't need payment immediately. Bitcoin. You want to send money back home. Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a future.

Every such transaction will likely be a cheaper and more economic benefit for the party that receives bitcoin. The purchasing power increases over time. And everyone will want to use it. Simple. I do not expect amazon to allow bitcoin. However, I expect bitcoin to be used in other parts of our lives in the next decade
No No! No matter what you or other folks say let me tell you what you are imagining is never going to happen. Bitcoin isn't a magic wand that would take away all your problems with itself. What all you are pointing out can be done in fiat too. What is stopping you from buying a car or yacht from fiat? It's because you don't have money. How are you expecting everyone to have BTC just by default? If you are talking about the problems of income inequality or poverty there is absolutely no connection that Bitcoin has with it. Chances are it would worsen off with cryptocurrencies as there would be no social regimes to pick them up. Bitcoin isn't made for this purpose. It's sole purpose is to transact payments over long distances without any intermediary I think even this value thing that has been attached to it is quite ancillary and not the primary activity. The purchasing power would also not increase because the production won't increase. Because producers too have to do expenditure in order to produce a good. If they can get a better ROI just by holding Bitcoin why would they produce? So imagining such an economy is certainly impossible.
2290  Local / India / Re: INDIAN ECON, POLITICS, SOCIETY + BTC PRICE on: October 21, 2020, 05:25:52 PM
Hahah there is one thing I can assure you. You are going to be declared as Anti National after this very post. Grin  I think the problem we are encountering today is polarization of citizens. Commenting on it from polticial point of view. Apart from religious polarization which obviously has been a major concern these days. Problem is that a new kind of war is emerging between so called right wing and left wing clans. Now these ideological rivalries make sense and are practiced in most of the countries like even the US but in India it is changing into extremism. Right wing people obviously we all know the clan of supporters of BJP and as per them anyone who does not follows that ideology is a Left wing or Chinese/Pak agent or Anti nationalist. Now the problem here what most of the people don't realise is that there is no end to this war. Because at the end you would merely find hatred.

Economically, I think I would not completely blame the govt for GDP fall obviously Covid was a factor but yes the recovery mechanism was absolutely poor and what was highlighted in media is nowhere near reality. Moreover the economic regimes of the government are pretty confusing. Being Right wing government their focus should be on free markets. But where on one end they are inviting big giants around the world to enter every sector of India even agriculture now and on the other hand they are banning Chinese Companies and following socialist regimes. But obviously this would lead to more income inequality becoming even more wider.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 21, 2020, 05:01:21 PM
He actually has ended the expectations of all those young openers who were thinking of getting that opener spot in the Indian Team. Lol. Now once again the confusion for the selectors would be to choose between Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. Dhawan and Rahul are in best form but you don't generally see Rohit Sharma on bench if he is in the squad because of the reputation he carries. Once again I think KL Rahul would have to play two down maybe. Because Rishab Pant is surely not getting in the team anytime soon. The other youngster like Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson too have not performed after couple of first matches.

The biggest competition is for the spot of wicket-keeper batsman. For now, KL Rahul is the first choice, and Rishabh Pant comes next. Sanju Samson was impressive during the initial matches, but then he proved that he is inconsistent. The same can be said about Ishan Kishan. Since KL Rahul is a part-time keeper, I would not be much surprised if Pant gets included in the playing XI. But as of now, the chances for Kishan/Samson doesn't look very bright.
Oh yes, this can also be a problem. But I think there is some politics involved around Rahul too. He was selected in the playing XI until Anil Kumble was the head coach of the team and once Kohli had some skirmishes with Kumble I haven't seen Rahul and Virat together. But I would like to see KL Rahul in squad no one can beat him in consistency. Pant bats pretty irresponsibly if you compare him with Rahul.
Looks like KKR received the honor for the lowest total in this season so far and this will most likely be the lowest score of the season overall. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them getting picked out like dominoes.

It looks like RCB may thrash them or win easily. Whoever bet on KKR must be pretty pissed right now. As I mentioned earlier, KKR are not at the top of their game this season just like CSK.
Haha I think it's the first time that RCB is on the bowling side most of the time they were the side making the lowest total Lol
2292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 21, 2020, 02:08:53 PM
A few moments ago, BTC crossed 12k$. Many analysts said, if we cross 12k$ we will be back to the bull market. What do you think? Is it a fake out or we are back to the bull market?
We have been above $12K this year for some time. While it's pretty difficult to predict any major difference between fakeout and bull market. A few indications such as volume and some indicators might help. But logically speaking I don't think 12K was any kind of psychological mark for BTC this year. Nor it is something that we should be very happy about. It's just normal price movement of BTC. But yes talking about bull market I think BTC is in a sort of bull market situation for a few months after it came back up from 9-10K. The chart hasn't been that steep but bull market is a bull market. I believe we would see another leg up and BTC will hover around 12.5K for a month or so again. For people who are expecting something like 2017 again. Stop watching dreams.  Grin
2293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 21, 2020, 01:15:35 PM
They definitely are going to give a tough fight to rest of the teams now. It looks like a complete team. While DC performed miserably apart from Dhawan batting was a complete failure. I think they shouldn't loose the momentum they were in. Giving unnecessary rests to core players can prove to be fatal.
If Kings XI Punjab can pick the best team then they are a force to reckon, i think Chris Gayle was their lucky charm and game changer he was brought into the team in the last three matches and they started winning and he is making valuable contribution and even though Glenn Maxwell is not in the best of batting form in this IPL they are utilizing him as an opening bowler and he is doing wonders and these changes are helping them big time and they have the momentum by winning against MI and now DC the top two teams in this edition and with the confidence they have now they can challenge the rest of the teams.
Yeah I personally love Chris Gayle but he definitely isn't a reliable batsmen. So obviously he wasn't the first choice in the squad but after repeitive losses I don't know why KXIP still kept him outside. Talking about Glenn Maxwell I think he is retaining his spot merely due to his bowling. He is not a great addition to bowling I would say but he is more like a Jadeja or Krunal pandya in making. Won't give you much turn but a good line and length to just stop flow of runs. Although not much capable of taking wickets. Moreover he is lucky that KXIP don't have any other big overseas batsmen in their side which also is a reason why he hasn't been replaced so far.

Shikhar has gone beyond expectation to be honest. I didn't think he will come back with such performance. He got some runs in most matches but not as expected as a opener. Here's his stats-
vs KXIP- 0(2)
vs CSK- 35(27)
vs SRH- 34(31)
vs KKR- 26(16)
vs RCB- 32(28)
vs RR- 5(4)
vs MI- 69(52)
vs RR- 57(33)
vs CSK- 101(58)
vs KXIP- 106(61)

You can't say this such bad although. He had bad strike rate at the beginning but in last few matches, his SR has totally changed. Well, he is now 2nd highest run scoree so far in this season.
He actually has ended the expectations of all those young openers who were thinking of getting that opener spot in the Indian Team. Lol. Now once again the confusion for the selectors would be to choose between Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. I think this is the best performance so far by KXIP they have beaten up the top 3 teams of the standings consecutively in 3 matches. Today it was the real test of all the weak points of KXIP and they passed all of them with flying colours. Their death bowling was excellent and despite of a failed top order their middle order batted so nicely which was their core weakness so far. They definitely are going to give a tough fight to rest of the teams now. It looks like a complete team. While DC performed miserably apart from Dhawan batting was a complete failure. I think they shouldn't loose the momentum they were in. Giving unnecessary rests to core players can prove to be fatal.
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading with Stable Coin - Question on: October 20, 2020, 03:10:24 PM
hi i have a question

if one is trading with Stablecoins based in fiat USD

using this as example

say i bought into BTC at USD price of $7000 usd

price goes up to 10000 USD

at that mark i trade into Tether or another stablecoin

to hold my gains

BTC goes back down to 8000 usd

BTC starts cllmbing again

when would i trade back into BTC to not make any loss and just get more gains?

would i wait till it gets to 10000 USD and trade in?

or a bit higher? suggestions as i always mess this one up. thanks
I have seen a lot of people trying to explain various different things from analysis of past days to everything. But let me tell you the truth of being a trader. A trader is a person who doesn't care if btc is 7000 or 12000 or even 100,000. He is interested merely in buying btc and making profits. Someone who is holding btc isn't a trader. Now I'm cryptocurrencies there are two types of traders. One are who trade keeping Bitcoin as base currency and buy/sell Alts and try to increase their BTC count. But since btc has become bearish these people are actually suffering losses. So there is another set of people who trade by keeping USDT as main balance and see if they increase their dollar count. These people actually make more sense as your monthly targets of earning this much dollar is quantifiable but you generally miss out on some gains. For example if a trader would compare him with holder he might feel he has lost in bullish market.

Coming to your question. Just keep it simple. You put let's say 10000$ in your account. Now if you buy btc at $7000 at book a profit at $10000. You earned a profit of $3000 and now you have $13000 in your account. Now you don't have to care where BTC goes. Now if BTC goes back at 8k you don't lose anything. So just buy your BTC book profits at count profit as how much increase you have in your wallet in terms of dollar.

I think its safe to say that CSK virtually out from this season. They are left with 5-6 games i suppose and if they want to get direct entry (16 points) into playoff then they need to win every game from here (if 5 games are left), which seems very doubtful and not expecting any sort of miracle here.
They have 4 games left, have played 10 matches and won 3 among them. I don't think there's any chance left for them. There's a lot of if/and/else calculation if CSK have to qualify for the next round.
Yeah my mistake, each team playing 14 games. For playoff team need 16 points so CSK's 2020 IPL almost ends here as they need 10 more points and left with only 4 games.

I think its safe to say that CSK virtually out from this season. They are left with 5-6 games i suppose and if they want to get direct entry (16 points) into playoff then they need to win every game from here (if 5 games are left), which seems very doubtful and not expecting any sort of miracle here.

Every team still has chance to reach, once team qualified with 12 points. So there is still all chances to reach on qualifier but of course with lot's of if and but.
Correction.. each team needs 16 points not 12.. In case of tie situation on points, run rate might comes in play.

Lots of if/but for SRH and King XI Punjab. RR still in race if they manage to win their last 4 games.

I think it's the same story for SRH, KXIP and RR. Three of them have to win rest of their matches to qualify. It's just that RR have one match extra that they have played if Punjab wins today they will be at the same level as RR. Until now I think it's only Delhi Capitals that is surely qualified for the playoffs and would be pretty rest assured regarding it's remaining results. If any one is still supporting CSK I would just say he is too blind to realize that CSK didn't deserve to be in playoffs this time. They actually have performed the worst amongst all teams. If you leave out that one match when they chased with 10 wickets in hand agaisnt Punjab rest all their matches have been spiritless. Looks as if they were never really playing for the Cup this time. KXIP and RR on the other hand have shown pretty nice winning spirits on various occassion. I feel one of them should get into top 4.
There is solution for this, select pick before toss just don't lock. If you want to change after toss you can. I did that many times.

OK.. Let me try this. For this round, I have already locked all of my picks. Let me try this for the next round (Round 6). Normally, I make my picks 1-2 days before the match. But this time the toss is having such a big impact on the outcome, and if I can change my selection after the toss it may be a big help. But then the danger is that if somehow I miss to lock the selection, then it will automatically pick the default option.
I was thinking the same too. toss is going to be very important in almost every match of KXIP now and more important today. Unfortunately, I locked my pick and then realized how Important today's toss could be  Grin Grin
2297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 20, 2020, 12:20:51 PM
so its getting more difficult to analyse prices do you guys dont think that market is more un predicteble then before?
you can read the charts and analyse before it use to be went according to analyses but now it look like the market can any ways

is so what could be the reasons?what have might caused this ?? have anyone here noticed same thing?
I think it was always pretty difficult to analyze market prices. There was a pretty low percentage of people who could actually master that art and now with more and more people coming into trading obviously things are becoming more difficult in cryptocurrency trading. But yes there is one thing I have learned from an expert that no strategy is permanent. Almost every strategy that you make to analyze the market has to be changed and shaped according to time and new market conditions. Some people would make huge profits from their strategy in one year but then wouldn't make a dime out of the same strategy. It's because market sentiments change with conditions so strategies need to be molded too. For example, in 2019 market sentiment was pretty bullish people expected that we are going from a good economic stage therefore if there was a pullback to any bullish move it wasn't that strong but with the advent of 2020 we might start getting stronger pullbacks due to fragile market sentiments.
2298  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India plans to introduce law to ban cryptocurrency trading on: October 20, 2020, 12:07:08 PM
A study!! Lol! The government offices in India are headed by One-exam-wonder beaurocrats who are more willing to suck the dick of political leaders than to conduct a study. I have worked with few of them for 3 years and I know how the system works.

India's priority is to build temples instead of factories. Cryptocurrency is not even a matter of discussion to them!
I am glad to see that you are identifying the virus that is affecting this country, i am not talking about the pandemic or any other virus but the political  polarization and the lies that are spread with the help of media channels and for most part the courts are trumpeting according to the central government and in that predicament where do you they get time to understand or discuss about cryptocurrency and is there anyone in the ruling party that could understand these things  Cheesy.

We are witnessing demagoguery for the past few months and no mainstream media is discussing about the real problems India is facing rather they are diverting with sensationalism and i feel pity and angry about the situation we are in. We are seeing these kind of topics quite often and even if they ban without any review or discussion even though i am aware of the studies they submitted  i will not be surprised because they care less about the common people or the difficulties faced by people or small businesses or innovation.
Couldn't agree more with you. But coming to the point of legalizing of Bitcoins. I have seen one tedency of this current ruling governemnt. That is their favouritism towards the Corporates. They have tried their best to give most of the powers to Large Corporates and this is something which makes me feel Optimistic about Bitcoin. We saw that Binance recently Invested in WazirX and then a private equity fund invested in Unocoin which is another crypto exchange. So these big companies can obviouly get some favours from the government by lobbying them. So as more major players would enter this arena of cryptocurrency the more difficult it would become for the government to ban or impose restrictions on cryptocurrencies.
2299  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the 50% rule? on: October 19, 2020, 05:52:14 PM
There is a rule in technical analysis called (50%).And it is called pullback.

Whenever the price reaches a peak, it can go down to 50% before the pump.
The same thing will happen again in falls.

In the morning, the price dropped from 11,500 to 11,200.
And after this fall, it rose to about 11,350.
Of course, we have a drop of up to 30%, but 50% is more common.

And I also think there is strong resistance in 10950 and those who have bought below this price should not worry.

Also do not trust my analysis !!
Why? Huh  Angry
Well, here is your answer:

First Trump took the corona, the next two cases were about money laundering and the federal court ruled against them, so my question is which one of your analysts predicted these cases?
Also, who predicted the arrival of Corona?
So go ahead with your own intellect and logic and enjoy the market to the fullest. Wink

Actually these 50% levels are nothing but a mean of the two Fibonacci levels which itself is actually formulated by applying a Standard Deviation on 50%. Without going deep into the topic. Simply saying that generally market respects the Fibonacci levels because they are mathematically derived values which exist universally. Even though they aren't 100% accurate but if you inculcate this pullback strategy properly in your studies you can usie it nicely. But yes another major issue generally traders face is the point from where you create this 50% pullback some generally take it from highest point of the previous trend while some take it from the most volumnous area of trade. So this is a pretty subjective point.
2300  Economy / Economics / Re: Today is the Way when world economy will show on: October 19, 2020, 05:38:37 PM
Today the World economy
USA stock market is just a dip of the ice Berg.
Uk situation,  the banks talking about taking loan and print money, Sorry but there will be no money for uk. Uk is not qualified on this time to get loan.
USA will be last Country and this money will be spent fast.
Hint: Dow down 2000-3000 points*

If we want more answers then we should look Back years ago how the western countries economies got raped, now the results are here
After 3 days USA will call all the debt in *
But its not end its beginning of Everything*
Canada and USA will struggle first.
But there will be no money for Canada either*
The 3 tril will go in europe and in stocks and in cryptocurrency. From Federal reserve*
I think I said all ready too much !!

But I go and maybe I Come Back after 3 days here by then a lot should be happened.
Once again. A post of similar fashion without any sources of relevant proofs that you are talking about. Yes money supply has gone up but money Supply has hit it's worst previously also. Merely an inflated fiat cannot be called as dooming phase. You would see a recession only if this excessive supply isn't followed by any sort of demand in the market. But as far as I think with incoming of the festive season in many countries. Demand might resume pretty soon! 3 days is once again another hoax from your side. Moreover even if we enter into a recession that has never proved to be end of Economies. The blame games are always played and there are just couple of scapegoats and then the rest of the Economy is back on track. Only the poor and people with a bad plan suffer.
