What happens with http://tix.coinmine.pl/ ?
It had 200+ Mh/s, now has 3?

Just a couple minutes ago I was mining at 7500 kh/s, then now half the speed and rejected shares saying "Share is above target". Is it an issue with the pool network, stratum, gpu miner and/or the code?
Same to me, but network seems to found blocks with local miner, so I don't think problem is on network, but the pool.
Any one know more?
Looks like everyone is solomining now Smiley

I think so, too. We are still at about 311 mHash right now on the network even with the GPU efficiency drop today

Going to be slow with people who have low hash rates.....Here comes the luck factor in solo mining....Good news, you get the full reward per block found and solved I guess...LOL

Yea, but that's when you find the 1000 TIX block and not the 400,000 ones lol

That would suck if it was 1000 TIX for each block found....=P

I vote for: Lotterytickets (TIX), Netcoin (NET), and Extremecoin (EXC), to be added....
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [SXC] Official Store Opens Today! on: September 25, 2013, 09:34:54 AM
Hello!

You know the drill by now, this is an SXC [ANN], that means the site is adult in nature, has porn on it, is NSFW and is of course, really awesome!

This is the official store for the SXC adult transaction currency.  Stocking DVD and Bluray titles you can buy today with SXC and BTC.  Currently we have over 120 titles in stock but will be expanding up over next few weeks to thousands of titles and other cool products.

Along side the Bluray and DVD offerings we plan to offer Gift certificates for fiat porn sites, fleshlights, content from amateur creators and loads of other cool and exciting things unique to the SXC currency.

So check us out and for the other currencies, try to keep up  Wink

It would be cool if one day these coins would be used for strip clubs...LOL

Pools seem to be jacked up. The smalltimeminer pool is having the same issue. Switching to solo now to test the network. It's still finding blocks and all the pools are still synced up, so I'm not sure what the issue is right now. It will most likely correct itself, but if it's not looking better in the morning we will fix it.

Will report back with solo info as soon as I find a block to make sure the network is still working properly

i will put in a special request to cryptsy for 25,000,000 tix. with that many tix i can guarantee it be added.

8zMN6KGRZoa6uAVcnjaLzYY4PjK4Qb62ua

LOL, do you think 25,000,000 is much? Cheesy

oh hell, make it an even billion.

Thank you for the offer, but we aren't looking for any special treatment. If it is deemed viable for a listing, it will be listed

I also switched to solo mining too. I know scrypt-jane suppose to lose gpu efficiency eventually, but didn't expect it to drop quickly (approx. 26%~30%) so early.

2287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocoin Mining Information -- find the most profitable coin to mine! on: September 17, 2013, 12:21:00 AM
Currently running on http://dustcoin.com/mining.

FEATURES
  • General coin information (blocks, difficulty, reward, etc.)
  • Aggregate exchange rates calculated from BTC-e, Vircurex and Bter markets
  • Mining revenue compared to BTC
  • SHA-256 and scrypt mining revenue calculator

KNOWN ISSUES
  • I may be calculating the FRC block reward incorrectly.  If someone is familiar with FRC, please let me know if it is wrong.  Note: I am only listing the portion the miner receives.
  • The LTC/BTC ratio will be a bit inaccurate if you are using an NVIDIA card.  I am assuming that SHA-256 minig is 1000x as fast as scrypt mining, which is accurate for most AMD/ATI cards.

TODO
  • Add NVC
  • Add "market cap" column (ripper234)
  • Add Ixcoin (markm)
  • Improve input of sha256/scrypt hashrates, allow for ratio other than 1000 (MKEGuy)
  • Add USD profit column
  • Add power cost and profit calculator (MKEGuy)
  • Support non-USD currencies
  • Future difficulty estimates
  • (?) Mining pool

Is this real time updated? Or just in intervals of a day, week or month?

2290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best budget mining rig build? Non-HD 7000 series. on: September 12, 2013, 09:06:30 AM
It is better to sell your hardware and buy Bitcoins.
******************
I would never have bought an old card. Buy better 7950/7970 (the price is now very low)

I found someone selling 3x HD 6950(Unlocked Shaders) for $300= 1400~1600 Kh/sec(total). Trying to get the best bang for buck hash rate power for a budget under $300~$350.

If you want to buy a cheap problems - this is a good choice.

I was originally going to get a HD 5970 (800~900 Kh/sec) for $150, but the guy already sold it.....I guess I'll get the 3x HD 6950's with the unlocked shaders....
2291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has anyone else tried Coinbase lately? on: September 12, 2013, 09:02:33 AM
Just seems like more of an issue with buying, understandable for the possible fraud. Has anyone had a issue of selling there? I just recently signed up and was originally going to use BTC-e, then use OKpay or PerfectMoney to cash out. Is Coinbase the only US company selling and buying?

I only spent $100 for 2x HD 5870's =800~900 Kh/sec(total). A HD 7950 is $200~$270= 500~600 Kh/sec. I found someone selling 3x HD 6950(Unlocked Shaders) for $300= 1400~1600 Kh/sec(total). Trying to get the best bang for buck hash rate power for a budget under $300~$350.

Hi everyone,
Just curious what would be a cheap rig to build on limited funds. Currently I'm running 2x HD 5870's and a HD 5850, but don't want to spend too much for an upgrade. I was thinking of either a HD 5970, 6950(shaders unlocked), 6970 or 6990. Or is it best just to pony up the cash for a HD 7950 or 7970? Want a low wattage and hardware cost system without making a crazy investment.

First, excuse me if I post this in the wrong area, please redirect if it is. Is there a part in the forum where people trade hardware, just curious?

Pool Invalid    831 (27.43%)  ---- from cpr.botpool.net

Orphan and Orphan and Orphan  -----from cpr.coinmine.pl

so very little profit in mine this coin now

I tried both and botpool works better. Weird, I would think coinmine with stratum proxy would work better, but nearly 50% of the times the payout is orphan.
2296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPR] | Copper Bars | Scrypt-Jane | GPU Efficiency JUST DROPPED on: September 07, 2013, 02:19:42 AM
So 7,000 MH/s wouldn't mine much CPR at all is what you are telling me?

-Adeel

Do you mean Kh/s? Because it would definitely be worth it for 7,000 Mh/s. Otherwise, 7,000 Kh/s would get you around 3 to 4 CPR a day at the current difficulty, but it's slow creeping up. Still worth to mine for a couple day with your hashrate. I'm mining, even though I only get 900~1100 Kh/s

It's not the difficulty going up, it's the GPU hasrate efficiency going down, like scrypt-jane is designed to do

Approximately how long will Scrypt-Jane GPU mining be equal speed as CPU mining? I really didn't research into Scrypt-Jane algorithm. I'll research on it more online....

Also, I can't use Worksize 256 on my 2x HD 5870 and HD 5850, I get errors. 128 works, but is slow and 64 work the best for some strange reason. Would raised my GPU Threads from 1 to 5 help?

price seems to have spiked on cryptsy. why?

The coin is rare. Soon, it will be not possible mine efficiently with gpu. Even though it's coded for 512 million, it will take a long time once it's only efficient to mine with cpu.

Anyone mining with either a Radeon HD 5870/5850? I mining with 2x 5870's and a 5850, get about 800 kh/s. I'm using a thread concurrency of 3200 and work size of 64 get me so far the best performance. I tried concurrency of 6500 and 7500 with 256 work size, I would get strange errors or run half the speed. Any input is greatly appreciated.
