If it takes so long for users to confirm transactions (with re-attaching and changing nodes multiple times etc) how can this reliably handle IoT traffic?

If the PAY token will not generate income, it is worse than it already was. It was overpriced IMHO but without income derived from it, it would serve absolutely no purpose. If paying dividend is problematic the TenX team’s only viable option seems to convert the PAY token from cash flow generating to a real token use. That means: offering services/products exclusively against payment of PAY tokens or let it wither away as a kind of magic the gathering token without real purpose.
I would appreciate other thoughts on how the token could be made useful.

I would have expected a large pump in the price towards $5 after the e-mails of Dawn 2.0 hit the mail servers. But price seems to be stuck at $3.8 for now. Oh well, it was fun as long as it lasted.

The latest bull run of IOTA is crazy. Do you think there will be some correction soon or do you think that the run will continue?
It is crazy, 7.5x from the latest base ($0.40) and no one can tell where it stops. Now, $5, $10 or beyond. But given the sheer amount of IOTA out there and the fact that the network has not been forthcoming the last few days in terms of actually getting a payment through (e.g., the Android wallet is completely cut off), I reckon the possibility that at some point the supply (of sellers) will hit exchanges and will subsequently exceed the buying pressure. Nothing goes up on a straight line forever. |
