The took large loans for development projects, which never really fructified to completion leaving them badly debt ridden. It holds a great lesson for many, never try to grow rich with debt. Their tourism industry was hit by covid, their tea estates were destroyed by too quick transition to organic practices.. They need serious international help..I sympathize with lankans.
That's just the sad state of Sri Lanka and it's very difficult specially at this time to bounce back even if they have a new government, whether interim or they will go on the right process to elect a new one. Yes, we, sympathized with them, we don't what that to happen to our country and to our government specially that I also lived in a neighboring countries. It's really the fault of the their governance that really bring the country on the collapsed. Provably recovery for this country will take a long time but at least they are now taking action talking with IMF to discuss their loans, Maybe there are first country will help them in future once they put a right person to govern that country. I think it's worth investing in them as long as the sites that they are linked to are popular and reputed sites which are trustworthy. However, I don't advise investing big amounts into any of these tokens no matter how legit they are op.

I am still not persuade that the 69K was the bull run, it reminds me more of the 2013 run up to 200$ then fall the run up later to 1K in late 2013.

Governments that ban Bitcoin don't see it as major economic opportunity for their citizens. They think that the negatives are larger than the positives, so they ban it. All those reasons that you listed serve public interest, not own interests of the government. If you wanted to criticize governments from that angle, you should have pointed out that they view Bitcoin as a threat to their financial power and control. Most of the country ban bitcoin are first world and they really don't need bitcoin for now because they are self sustaining. In my country, everyone uses Whatsapp to communicate with family & friends and no one uses telegram for day to day communication. Only few people uses telegram for joining crypto groups or any other specific groups but it is not as popular as Whatsapp. Although telegram has more features as compared to WhatsApp but the trend among people is to use WhatsApp. I wonder if Bitcasino has a presence on whatsapp also? Maybe Whatsapp is much promoted than any other platform but what I notice here or even on other users Telegram is much used since the simplicity of the platform really make them easy to use even by newbie users. It is understandable for them to try to give people some money back when it is 20k, I seriously doubt that they have all they want, they probably lacked some funds, and this drop helped them a lot. I even imagine that they may have sold a bit higher, and rebought at lower in order to pay more to people.
This is a weird situation, don't know how they are going to "finally" distribute it, I mean the method. They can't just send money back right away, most of it would be gone, there needs to be a better method, maybe some people use different wallets, would make sense. In any case, it's suspicious timing for sure, I agree with that, and I think there is something fishy going on.
