2281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io -Welcome to a new crypto friendly casino!!! on: February 04, 2022, 06:43:37 AM
What's the point for one company to own 3 crypto casinos?
Can't this company focus on making only one crypto casino?
This doesn't seem like a diversification of assets to me.If one of the casinos has problems and negative feedback, the other two casinos will be instantly viewed as suspicious by the gamblers.
I read forum posts stating that livecasino.io exists for over 6 years and has a decent amount of traffic.
What' the point of making an announcement thread in the gambling forum?
Perhaps the only reason would be getting feedback from Bitcointalk users and acting as a customer support service,in order to solve all the problems Bitcointalk users have with this casino.
The gambling forum gets flooded with multiple crypto casinos and this makes me kinda bored, rather than excited.
It's like having "advertising blindness" after watching way too many online ads. Sad

2282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember Bitfinex Exchange Hack of 2016 ? The stolen bitcoins are moving! on: February 04, 2022, 06:21:00 AM
I guess that the hacker will move to some underdeveloped country, where the police and the court system are totally corrupted. He has the money to buy any policeman or judge he wants.  Angry
I know that karma is a b*tch and you get what you deserve, but I've seen many people get away with their crimes.
What makes me wonder is the existential price he has to pay for all this wealth.
He's a billionaire, but he will have to hide, watch over his back and live in the shadows for the rest of his life.
Is this really worth it?
2283  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 03, 2022, 11:59:14 AM
The USD is losing value. The EUR is losing value. All national coins are inflationary, energy prices are through the roof and still BTC is only $36,500! People should buy BTC like crazy, this is something I don't understand, they keep using the crappy FIAT instead. FIAT will all make you poor! Don't come crying here after when BTC hits $100K, but FIAT is the worst investment someone can make these days. BTC is still cheap as peanuts considering its potential, too bad people don't see it, have fun staying poor and keep making those bankers rich. Unbelievable.

Well, fiat money are not an investment. They are a medium of exchange, which is necessary for everyone to buy food and pay the bills.Unfortunately you still can't use BTC to buy food and pay the bills.
Perhaps you should be making such "angry" posts on social media, rather than a Bitcoin forum.
99.99% of the people here are Bitcoin supporters. You don't have to convince them that Bitcoin is the future.
It's weird that the BTC price dropped from 38K to 36K USD in one day.I guess that the market turbulence will continue until the end of the winter. The bull run is postponed for the future.
2284  Economy / Economics / Re: Metaverse real estate sales top $500 million, projected to double in 2022 on: February 03, 2022, 11:41:04 AM
I'm wondering about the scarcity of this "digital real estate" type of shit.
Is it possible for everyone to create a bunch of "digital real estate" and sell it(or just keep it)?
Does the "real estate" have to be on the metaverse,in order to be considered as "real" digital real estate?
Any digital real estate outside of the metaverse would be a totally fake real estate,I guess. Grin
If that's the case, can someone just create his own metaverse,in which he sells his own real "digital real estate"?
After all, this "real estate" is going to be on a metaverse, which makes it totally real. Grin
What if 1 million different metaverses are created and each one has 1 billion pieces of digital real estate?
Wouldn't all the digital real estate become worthless? Grin
2285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 03, 2022, 07:04:39 AM
I'm hearing rumors that there was severe tension between Aubameyang and Arteta and this is the main reason for selling Aybameyang to Barcelona.Perhaps without him,the situation inside the team of Arsenal will improve, but I still don't believe that Mikel Arteta is the manager, who will make Arsenal successful.
Arsenal needs a new manager.
I'm not impressed with the first few games of Ralf Rangnick as a manager of Manchester United.Perhaps Man United will find their best condition in the beginning of the new season.
I read news that one of the younger Man United players has problems with the justice(sexual assault).
I hope that Mason Greenwood will be punished by the law severely,if he is found guilty.
2286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-Generator on: February 03, 2022, 06:38:03 AM
This reminds me of the "Paypal money generator" scam videos on Youtube, where the visitors must click on a link in the video description and complete a content locking CPA offer,in order to unlock this magical "Paypal money generator" software, that ends up being totally fake. There were "Skrill money adder" and various "Gift card generators" on Youtube as well. The scammers were (and still are) pretty clever with this shit.
Bitcoin faucet sites are the closest thing to a "Bitcoin generator",but you will get a few satoshis per click.
Do not spend any Bitcoins on any website, that claims to "generate" Bitcoins.
2287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: February 02, 2022, 12:01:57 PM
If you don't want to get scammed, simply don't buy tokens issued by brand new projects, that have a vague and difficult to understand business model.
Let's be honest here, many of the so called 'Investors' know that these tokens are scam, but they are still buying them for the sake of making money via pump and dump.
Many "investors" know that these projects are totally unregulated, but they are still buying shit tokens.
The scammers have to be caught and punished, but all the people, who are putting money in these scams can blame only themselves and nobody else.
The risk/reward ratio of all these "crypto projects" is ridiculously high. This is basically gambling, rather than investing.
2288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $100000?! on: February 02, 2022, 11:38:17 AM
In the last two weeks, the BTC price dropped to 34K and many forum members were asking "Where is the price bottom? Will the price drop to 30K or 20K?"
Now,the Bitcoin price went up from 34K to 39K and forum members like the OP are asking "Will the Bitcoin price go to 100K?" The psychology and mentality of the average Bitcoin trader/investor is so funny. Grin
Nobody knows when the BTC price will hit 100K and will it be able to hit 100K some day.Maybe yes,or maybe no.I'm expecting another price drop in February and/or March, but I'm pretty positive about the spring.

2289  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: February 02, 2022, 07:16:58 AM
From the beginning of humans, we have created boundaries between ourselves by lots of conflict over the century. Our greediness and eagerness for more power make us intelligent animals. Humans are capable of their own destruction. But what if those never happen? what will be the scenario of the current world if there is only one nation and one currency and humans invest their full strength for human resource development and the development of science and technology? What do you think is that even possible in the future and what will be the benefits and inconvenience of it?

There's no way that the entire human population can become one nation.
A nation is being formed for centuries.Every nation has it's own language and culture.
Do you really think that all the nations in the world would just decide to unite into one nation?
The idea of one global currency has been shared multiple times across the human history, but I don't think that most of the countries in the world would agree to abandon their monetary independence and to adopt a currency, over which they have zero control.
Gold and silver were the true global currencies, before the adoption of paper money. The world will never return to using gold and silver coins for every day transactions.
2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: February 02, 2022, 06:59:34 AM
PSG have poor capital when they will face Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League, they have just been knocked out of the France Cup and this is an indication for Madrid to be able to beat PSG. Currently Madrid and PSG both have complete squads without any injuries and yellow card accumulation, I think this match will be very interesting considering that PSG is very ambitious to win the champions league title for the first time. However, the series of poor results obtained by PSG has become an obstacle to being able to beat Real Madrid, which has appeared quite consistent this season.

PSG cannot be underestimated and I don't think that Real Madrid will have an easy time playing against PSG.
The Cup of France isn't a top priority for PSG.Their top priorities are becoming champion of France and wining the UEFA Champions League.I don't think that the PSG owners really cared that much about the game against Nice.Real is really consistent this season, but that doesn't mean that they are capable for defeating every opponent.
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities Embracing bitcoin because of Divorce? on: February 02, 2022, 06:25:11 AM
Bitcoin is financial asset. It should be treated like any other financial asset by the governments and the judicial  system.
All the celebrities, who are getting married only for the sake of getting divorced several years later and having to pay millions of dollars to their spouses are simply stupid.I can't feel sorry for a rich guy,who gets married and after a year or two cheats on his wife.
I don't see any news about celebrities embracing Bitcoin as a way to hide their wealth from their spouses.
There isn't such trend whatsoever.Maybe the celebrities must focus on Monero instead of Bitcoin. Grin
2292  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Government Really Ban Crypto? on: February 01, 2022, 12:40:27 PM
Can a government ban crypto?Yes it can.
How effective is the government at finding and punishing all the crypto users is a different question.
That's why many underdeveloped countries have lots of cryptocurrency users, despite the fact that those governments banned cryptocurrency trading and mining.
Your example with Android and Nokia isn't really accurate. The best example of a stupid government ban would be the dry regime in the USA(1920-1933).
The process of banning alcohol in the USA backfired and fueled the organized crime with millions of dollars worth of illegal revenue.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Neven's Law: Only a Decade Before Quantum Computers Hack Bitcoin? on: February 01, 2022, 12:15:36 PM
For some reason, the "quantum computers will destroy Bitcoin" discussion keeps appearing out of nowhere again and again. Grin
OP,haven't you read the previous forum threads about quantum computers and Bitcoin?
I don't think that you are adding anything new to the discussion with your forum thread.
You are just repeating the same old stuff.
By the time quantum computers become a thing,Bitcoin will be:
1."Quantum resistant". Grin
2.Replaced by a better cryptocurrency(if this is really possible).
Why bother about quantum computers?Don't worry about the future and enjoy Bitcoin while you still can.
2294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for coffee with Bitcoin on: February 01, 2022, 07:36:50 AM
You want to see our advise and suggestions about what?
How to promote Bitcoin or how to grow your coffee shop business?Or maybe both.
My only marketing advise would be to find local online groups of Bitcoiners in your city and invite them to your coffee shop.If there aren't any online local Bitcoiner groups in your city, then why don't you just create one (on Facebook or some other social media)and invite Nigerian Bitcoiners to join the group.
I can't dive you any advise about how to deal with the crypto laws and regulations in your country.
I guess that the anti-crypto regulations in many African countries are the main reason why there are so many Africans on p2p Bitcoin platforms like Paxful.

2295  Economy / Economics / Re: Overseing health and environmental impact of high energy required in Bitcoin on: February 01, 2022, 07:17:35 AM
This topic has been discussed and answered multiple times before.
I'm not going to waste time answering this, since it already has been answered by many forum members.
What concerns me is the low-IQ mentality and pure ignorance of many people, when it comes to this subject.
They are just thinking "carbon emissions=bad" and "electricity production=bad" "Bitcoin consumes electricity, which means that Bitcoin=bad". This is just hilarious.
We are all bad, because we consume electricity. We just have to shut down all the TVs,computers, fridges and lightning in our houses. We should go back to the medieval age, because electricity is bad for the planet. Grin
2296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Semi Finals. on: February 01, 2022, 06:58:48 AM
My bet is that the final will be Senegal-Egypt and Egypt will win the cup. This is the most obvious bet.
By the way, what is wrong with the referees? The referee of Mali-Tunisia ended the game twice before the 90 minutes have passed. Is it really that hot? Can't they play the games late in the evening, rather than being exposed on the daily heat.
Anyway,I'm not impressed by the quality of the football that was shown on this tournament.Unfortunately, the African teams cannot compete against the European and Latin American teams.Maybe FIFA should invest more money into the development of the African football.
2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin White Paper - Now available in 40 Languages on: January 31, 2022, 12:25:43 PM
The Bitcoin whitepaper being translated into more languages is something positive, but I wonder what would motivate the people to spend some time reading the Bitcoin whitepaper.
They might read the whitepaper because they are curious.
The times have changed and Bitcoin in 2022 is way different than the Bitcoin in 2009.
The Bitcoin whitepaper has more of a "historical value" rather than actual technical value.
Most of the people, who are entering the world of Bitcoin don't know and don't care about the whitepaper.
They think only about the BTC price and nothing else. Sad

2298  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-01-29] Biden Admin To Regulate Bitcoin As A Matter Of National Security on: January 31, 2022, 11:56:27 AM
Quote
The White House wants to set out a cohesive set of policies to regulate Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as currently legislation and its enforcement are scattered across sectors and agencies, according to multiple reports.

It would be nice if there is one cryptocurrency law in the USA,rather than a bunch of vague regulations being imposed by different agencies and sectors. There's nothing wrong with making the rules and regulations regarding cryptocurrencies more cohesive and simpler to understand.
I also would like the USA the ban multiple shitcoins, memecoins, stablecoins and the NFT market.
There's no real value in the above mentioned "crypto" instruments.Only pump and dumps, ponzi scams and fractional reserve banking stablecoins, which don't have enough fiat reserves to cover all their coins in circulation.
China had proven that a total crypto ban is not the right solution.
2299  Economy / Economics / Re: 02/02/2022 :( on: January 31, 2022, 07:06:17 AM
I don't understand the point of your post.
What's the connection between the things you are mentioning and February 2 2022? Grin
Do you think that Febraury 2 2022 will be the date of the Apocalypse or something? Grin
Life is hard, but guess what.Life was never easy at the first place.
At least we are lucky that we aren't living in a World War 3 or some giant asteroid isn't heading towards the planet Earth. Grin
Why do you even care about Apple making more revenue? You can't stop people from buying iPhones.
If Samsung was selling more smartphones, would you be pissed off the same way? Grin
2300  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetGalaxy.io Casino - SIGNUP GIVEAWAY FIRST 500 USERS -JANUARY 31st 10:00 AM EST on: January 31, 2022, 06:49:44 AM
This seems like a very ambitious project.I'm impressed.
I'm overwhelmed by the token dividend system and the abundance of games you are offering.
I haven't created an account, but I might do it in the future.I don't really care about your bonuses.
Your token dividend system is kinda confusing to be,so I guess I will have to read your forum thread several times,in order to understand everything. Grin
Good luck with this project and I hope the issues with account creation and email confirmation will be solved.
