Either way, BC and MINT can both succeed. All they have to rip ideas of each other as we go and we can both become the BTC and LTC of the PoS market. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I have exactly this idea. Look for "project F" on mintcoin thread and you will have a teasing of what I am thinking about at the moment (hint: this is a bit different that what mintcoin holders think, I will announce it there later on).

You can easily move the decimal like we do with bitcoin. The mathematics of starting an economic engine is more important than the brain crack idea that it will be used by literally everyone on the planet. Plus, even bitcoin could move further than 8 decimal; the protocol allows it. I France, in the 70's, we decided to divide any franc (our currency by then) by 100. 100 old france were worth 1 new franc. So it happens even in real life ( New franc)

Edit: imo alot of people don't like the idea of billions and billions of coins I believe this is more a matter of distribution. More coins means more potential for widespread adoption. I mean, if there are 100 000 people on the altcoin scene, that's the maximum. Compare with 7 billions (soon 9) inhabitant on this planet.

(I don't remember someone at MINT ever accusing BC of bribing someone. How elegant from BC to accuse of felony) Coins bribe exchanges and pools all the time, it isn't precedent setting. Well, at least we didn't (well, I didn't, I can't speak for any MINT supporter). Makes me think: someone said that the possibility to pay for increasing the vote in Mintpal is bribery. I'd tend to incline. These are the time where you realised crypto really are at Old West era: raw, ruthless capitalism at work (I have nothing against capitalism, but I do have something against ruthless capitalism).

Why did Hash choose MINT really Because I asked ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Notice I could ask for BC too... I think MINT and BC should not fight at each other - I know several persons who are supporters of both MINT and BC. Still, I wonder how both currencies could walk hand in hand without being counter-productive. I welcome any suggestion (the "we don't destroy the environment' part could help, but won't suffice, I think). And, no we did not bribe them. But you are free to disbelieve me. (I don't remember someone at MINT ever accusing BC of bribing someone. How elegant from BC to accuse of felony)

Is this a rumour - or is it true? I asked before and no one answered. Draw the conclusion you want.

Well, I just boosted the price of blacoin a bit. I hope this costy action will help.

Is mintpal slow for you too?

edit: i mean the round green logo...
There is an image set in the OP: https://mega.co.nz/#!xIY2XKrA!uq0MOBM6M1PXOqOCgxteJ-C5JiZJ8LzP0DP_ztPNLwoyeah it is the same i tried, but i has not enough pixels Ah... So ask pixibug on MintcoinTalk for more (I think he also has an account here) Try here: http://mintcoin-central.com/downloads/ Straight from Pixiebug (you are looking for "Mintcoin logo, Adobe Illustrator" and "Set of icons and banners"). If this is not enough, contact Pixiebug.

Absolutely, we need the mintcoin foundation up and running. I have put forward a potential eco project on mintcointalk (green hydro electric with a potential return back in royalties to mint) although it may be out of reach as it needs 700k to fully fund. The higher the mint price, the more projects we can fund and the larger projects we can fund. You know the administration: never available when you need them. I called they all day long. how is our Project F going? and any other promotion? Don't worry, I'm on it. The French administration is much slower than a panic seller, though :-)

panic sell lose money ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . Now BC cheap It will be cheap at 4000 or even 2000. Remember: "cheap" exists in only two contexts: - stable prices - afterward ("it was cheap by that time")

I got all my blackcoin back and then some (2000 extra BC, to be exact). What worries me much is that blackcoin is losing ground more and more. I plan to buy back at 4000. Should not be long the way he is acting.

I just bought a R9 290 that i will dedicate to this once i recieve it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have a nettop ( Mintbox 2). No way I cestroy my nettop for poor performance mining. Is it possible to plug a graphic card as an external device, much like we do for external hard drive? Thanks

I was well inspired to not leave my BC on the wallet today before leaving home. If I left it on the wallet, I would not have been able to convert to BTC.

even Mint after that pump to 90sat cannot woke up after pump... Was 63, not 90. And that was the cryptsy effect, like any other coin. BTW, I remember cryptsy is supposed to propose BC soon. Good opportunity to sell if and only if this information is validated. Anyone has a link? In same time you lok at BC: -rising community 30% volume less in two days. I have no number for community, do you have some? I don't think ANN pagination tells of the community size (of the interest, yes; of the community size, no)
-pump dump fast recovery Two days with mostly constant dropping, I don't call this a performance. Especially after two days of constant raising. Granted, the lowering is less than the raising.
-active Dev I'll give that you except... where is merchant adoption? Are dev working on that?-few disasters survived without scratch (Radio leaving, CR crash and FUDs…) I completely oversighted the Radio leaving. Can you tell me more? Why, how, when?-price chart have own unique trend separate totally from BTC,LTC… Where?Find me second coin like BC today now without premine which is doing similar ? ^^ None, that's why I'm moving to just-dice.comYou can go dice too there is always option. Investing, not gambling! I gambled, won and learnt enough no to gamble again (I ended up with a net positive output, for information)BTW BTC droped from 30$ to 1$ ^^... today from other point of view who cares about that... And when BTC was dropping, the right thing to do was to stay away from BTC (to fiat, by that time) and wait for it to come back. This is what I'll do now with BC. I will still monitor BC though (and MINT, which experience a noticeable appraisal, although it seems to be going down again) and will be back once it will go better

|
I am considering move my money to just-dice.com for the time being. People keep saying "don't worry, it will get better". No thanks, I saw what delusion does with mintcoin.

Stake interest: 1% annually
Is that all?
Are you a banker? At a bank, you get less. No.
|
|
|
Some people have suggested that the 20% interest rate for the first year is too high. It sounds like a lot, but not all of that will be realized. Even easier demonstration: investing in just-dice.com will give you that much interest rate. Investing in doge-dice.com wille give you even more (but this will come with the risk of losing money because of falling dogecoin price). Of course, if you expect mintcoin to get a continous rise, this is different story.

Would the sudden depositing of money into my account (something they won't be used to except from my salary) trigger some kind of internal alarm whereby the tax office are notified? It could actually increase adoption of BTC - this would not be the first time a governmental measure turns out counter-productive. Basically, this says "if you pay it in BTC, this is cheaper". People will start paying in BTC instead of paying a premium (plus fees) for converting in cash. how ironic.
