2281  Economy / Economics / Re: People keep talking how weak dollar and how bad usa economy getting on: August 27, 2023, 10:00:39 AM

Money today and maybe for the next 25 years will not be backed by gold. Who knows what BRICS are planning but sure they couldn't just jump into a fiat-backed gold currency. One thing is for sure though and it's currently happening that countries today are bilaterally trading with their own currency and not USD.

If they are using their own currency to buy oil and commodities from each other, how can the US control that?   And if they could control that, why are they so worried?

The BRICS countries can jump into a fiat-backed gold currency and that currency will be one of the most powerful one in existence other than the US dollar. This kind of approach would change the international monetary system because in current times the US dollar is still there as the reserve currency of the world. They already know that US dollar isn't backed by gold now and they are taking the advantage of that fact. The dollar is working based on other principles of the economics that only US knows and US is printing so many dollars which can greatly impact its price. I can't underestimate the fact that US dollar is the best medium for exchanging of goods and it will remain in dominance for many years even if BRCIS become functional. A gold backed currency like BRICS can really attack the dominance of US dollar and it may create political problems for the countries that are allies of the US because the US government and IMF will never want something like BRICS to exist and any of their allies if show interest in BRICS could make their relations weak with US.

The bilateral trades are really another important factor to keep in mind and you're right that most of the countries are going with the route of Bilateral trading. Countries like India and United Arab Emirates are also interested in bilateral trading of goods and they want to skip dollar and use Rupee instead for trading of goods. But their trade will be limited to non-oil based commodities as of now and maybe in future they could also add oil based commodities as well in their trading list. I'm quite sure that if that thing happens then the gates will continue to open for BRICS because many countries want to use alternative currency for their trading purposes. The US dollar's dominance will continue to degrade over time, but I'm quite sure that US government may have their own strategy to suppress the dominance of a currency like BRICS.
2282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: August 27, 2023, 06:40:35 AM
it's up to the person if he wants to get rid of the gambling habit, it's easy for him but if the person loves gambling, it will be difficult for him to quit My answer to this question is that it depends on the person
When a person is deeply addicted to gambling, it is very difficult to stop the person from gambling. Although a winning addict hopes to get rid of gambling, if he does not gamble for a few days, his addiction is drawn back to gambling. In that case, if a person cannot control himself from gambling by his own will, then it is very difficult to bring him back from gambling. But if a person who is not addicted to gambling loses a few bets, he will surely come back from gambling. It is true that a person's gambling habit will depend a lot on his gambling.

I don't think that someone who's winning a lot in gambling can be called as addict because an addict should be someone who despite losing everything still puts more money on gambling. The winners are most probably there because they enjoy the money that they earn from gambling activities and they will never leave gambling if they continue to win like that. But, if those winning gamblers start losing their bets and in those bets they start losing a lot of money and still they continue gambling activities then they can be called as addicts.

And, it would be really difficult for those people to give up on gambling activities because they have been into it for a long time and they have earned their bread and butter from it for a very long period of time. The only way to treat those gamblers so they can give up on gambling is to tell them in a direct one to one conversation that the activities they are doing are not causing damage to their life as well the lives of their loved ones. If they understand someone advice then they will continue to reduce their gambling activities and if they don't then they will lose a lot of things because of that addiction.
2283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not going to $12k. on: August 26, 2023, 06:18:44 PM
You are right in your approach and it's a fact that Bitcoin won't be dropping to $12k price mark anymore. I know that in coming days or weeks there can be another dip in Bitcoin's price but it won't be very intense. The Bitcoin may also recover some of its value in coming days that it lost due to the recent dip because I believe that the investors are once again interested in it and they might want to accumulate more of it and wait for halving event to take place. Most of the investors will probably wait for the next bull run before selling their holdings.

Those investors may hold Bitcoin for a year or two to gain more than 100% profit form their investment and I believe that if they have good capital to invest in it right now then they'll definitely make good returns from their investment. I believe that if a sudden event takes place which may create a dump in Bitcoin's price once again then during such dips many of the accumulators will try their best to accumulate as much Bitcoin as their financial condition allows them.

According to the statistics and the charts there won't be any event that could take the price of Bitcoin to $12k once again, but still if that kind of event takes place then the condition of the crypto-market will be very bad. Most of those useless shit-coins would be 0 in value and a few of them would lose their value by a huge %age. But, only a very catastrophic event could bring Bitcoin's price back to $12k because in normal dips or market dumps the price won't drop so drastically.
2284  Other / Meta / Re: Gangs of BitcoinTalk :) on: August 26, 2023, 03:20:56 PM

I'm not a tea addict, but it's really important for me a have two cups of tea each day only because of the taste.

Slow down Captain Adventure, your excitement levels are dangerously high.

Roger that! I really enjoy taking two cups of tea till this day, and I'll definitely reduce it because it may not be good for my health if I continue this activity for long term. I would also recommend you to try taking two cups of strong milk tea for sometime and see the results of the excitement that you get from that activity. It's really important to boost me up for the day, but you're right we should always slow down on such activities because as humans we may have adverse effects from such activates in long term.
2285  Economy / Reputation / Re: I need help the adivce regards my loan service here on: August 26, 2023, 02:40:00 PM
How can i verify most Simple and effective way my collateral loan service here ?
Im new here i Understood nobody dont trust so Im asking what i have to do to be legit lender here ?
Can this way it works If i put funds on escrow here If i mess around or scam or something i'll lose my funds.
Or Any other ways ? Thanks !
Your account is Newbie and on the other hand  you already tagged red. so no one will Trust you and give you any collateral for taking any loan from you but if you want to give a no collateral loan then this is not any problem. you can start your business. But remember that some users are offering loans here from a long ago and they are members with very high rank and they are lending money at very low interest rates.  Many take loans from them because they are already very trusted in this forum and they have a great reputation. so people will be interested in taking loans from you if you have to offer them at a lower interest rate

Very true indeed as no one would ever trust such user with collateral due to the red tags and the newbie account rank of the user. Well, I agree that the user can offer no collateral loans and many members may take advantage of those loans but newbies often make mistakes when they offer no collateral loan services because there are many scammers in lending boards who always try to trap the lenders and those newbie lenders often be prey of the scammers. I have seen a newbie who gave non-collateral loan to another newbie but the other party left the forum and took away the money. I have also seen a reputed member who gave loan to a newbie and he/she also didn't got the money back.

If you really want to offer loans on this forum then you should first gain some trust from the reputed members of the forum which isn't going to happen because your account is already tagged. And, I must warn you that if you're thinking about offering non-collateral loans then only give loans to the users who are trusted and are active high rank members of the forum. Lending is very risky on this forum and if you do it without proper preparation then only you will be responsible for the losses that you face.

I also agree that there are well reputed members of the forum who have been offering non-collateral loans to the members who are active on this forum and are selected in a signature campaigns. But, I must say that those lenders have also faced some losses by offering those lending services. Sometimes we really don't know that who's going to repay us and who's not not going to repay, and that's why we tend to face losses by giving loans to the ones who won't pay us back. I should say once again that lending is highly risky on this forum and if someone is offering non-collateral loans then that thing is even more risky.
2286  Other / Meta / Re: Request for unbanned my account. on: August 26, 2023, 02:16:49 PM
I apologize for my mistake. I won't do this again in the future. But please forgive me this time and give me another chance to prove myself. I will refrain from plagiarizing this in future. I hope you will forgive my mistake and give me another chance to prove myself.

Plagiarism has always been unacceptable in this forum and it will always be unacceptable. Willingly or unintentionally you have plagiarized someone else's content which isn't a good act at all. If you already knew that plagiarism could cause a ban on your account but still you did that act despite knowing everything then I don't think that you'll get another chance because I have seen that many members who were banned due to plagiarized content didn't got another chance from the admins and mods of the forum.

I don't know if your apology will be accepted or not but I recommend you to stick with your words and avoid any kind of plagiarism on this forum or anywhere else because stealing of others work isn't a fair thing and anyone who does that should keep in mind that such kind of act won't give them any success in life. Try to create your own content rather than stealing someone else's work, and if you use someone else's work then properly quote the author and original source of the work to avoid plagiarism. Proper referencing is needed when you're copying and pasting someone else's work because without proper reference it will be plagiarizing of the content of someone else.
2287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which crypto investment have you tried out? on: August 26, 2023, 12:51:34 PM
My only crypto investment for sure is going to be Bitcoin that's secured with the help of a cold wallet that only I can access. Other than that anything that I invest in the crypto-world is either going to give me huge losses or no gains at all. I really dislike the concept of flexible savings because they are mostly a new way from centralized exchanges to trap newbie investors. The newly listed tokens are the riskiest in the whole world of crypto-market because those token can lose a lot of their value within few days. The exchanges know that most of the newbie investors are greedy and when they find such schemes then they will invest money in those without delving deep into it.

If for example someone has invested their money into a flexible savings option of a newly listed token and the exchange offered him/her 100% APR, but after a month or two the token has lost almost 60% of it current price value then in that case the investor has lost money instead of making any profits from that APR. The only working investment in crypto world is to buy Bitcoin when you see it at a low price and hold it for as long as you can. That's the securest form of investment for everyone and the investors who follow that approach will make a lot of returns from their investment after some waiting time.
2288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, Relaxed KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: August 26, 2023, 10:22:53 AM
First of all I must say that you're most welcome to the forum and your announcement thread is really a good one. I have visited your site and it looks great to me the UI of the site is really good and I really appreciate the efforts that you guys have put into the casino. I like the way you presented it here because I don't think that other casinos are VPN-friendly by any means and most of them have strict KYC requirements. I would recommend you to launch your review campaign on this forum in order to get some feedback of the casino from the reputed members of the forum. The review will also help to increase the exposure of the casino to new gamblers and they will learn about it in detail by reading the reviews.
2289  Other / Meta / Re: bullrun2020bro - Merit Source Application on: August 26, 2023, 10:01:06 AM
I also support bullrun2020bro's application because the guy is truly a wonderful member of the forum. I haven't personally been to German local board but I can say that someone like bullrun2020bro deserves to be a merit source because his intentions are pure and he will help the members of the German local board member and their posts with the Smerits he gets after getting selected as a merit source. I hope that @theymos will consider the application of bullrun2020bro's because our forum really need new merit sources and reputed members like bullrun2020bro can send merits to the posts that deserve to get merited.

Hahaha! You made my day man! That one is really funny because we are struggling between $25k and $26k for now and I remember the days when we were struggling with $29k and many of us were hoping that we will see $30k soon, and we were communicating with Chartbuddy in hopes that it shows us a chart that's $30k or above it.
2291  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] PlayBita.com Crypto Down or Up? Join us ! on: August 26, 2023, 06:05:13 AM
A. It’s not casino, traders that understand the market trend makes good money from this platform, Casino is making money when you lose and here it’s the opposite
B. The game is played on Polygon MATIC and you can converts the top Crypto coins or top up with credit card to get MATIC

As for today Polygon is the fastest and cheapest blockchain this is why we use it

The idea is kind of unique because in such games the players who guess the price right will be awarded with the money if I'm not wrong. But, I'm still curious that how the platform makes money with a game like that? Are there any fees that the platform cuts when the players place their bets or it takes some money from the winning players? It would be great if you explain that in detail because we all want to know that how it works.
2292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 26, 2023, 05:58:26 AM
Both Lehecka and Korda are getting back into form in this tournament. We will see someone in the final from them the only thing that is worrying for them if they are gonna be ready for Us open next week . I think Korda can reach the final and maybe even win the entire tournament.

The next match would have been between Lehecka and Korda. Unfortunately, Korda had to cancel it because he got an ankle injury in the quarterfinal against Gaquet. So Lehecka is in the final and will play against Coric or Baez.
Hopefully Korda will be fit again for the US Open. It would be a shame otherwise, because as you wrote, he is slowly getting back into form.

I have seen this happening with a lot of players. The players are definitely in some kind of trouble when they face any kind of injury.  And it is definitely a big problem for them. They are just starting to get into form. A player can definitely lose his good form because of injuries. But this is definitely a good news for Lehecka. He is getting a free win because of this. It is still not decided who he is going to face in the finals. But he is definitely going to take the free win.
The walkover from Korda have confirmed the win of Lehecka into the finals. The second semi final is the only match left in the ATP Winston -Salem. Coric is termed to be the favourite against the player Baez, and this is going to be the first encounter between the two players. For the finals it is going to be Coric, lets wait for the end result and sometimes match will be a fighting than one sided.
The match between Coric and Baez have begun and Baez have won the first set 6-3 and leads the second set 3-1 which means the higher chance of winning is with Baez. Everyone were predicting it to be a final between Coric and Lehecka, now it looks different. Baez have taken medical timeout which is unexpected and this could be advantageous for Coric.
Finally Baez have won the match against Coric 6-3 64-77 62-77. The final is between Baez and Lehecka. Earlier both have met in two matches and each have won in a match. Lehecka have won in an ITF event and Baez have won in the Davis Cup. We can expect the match to be competing.

I don't think that Lehecka will stand much longer against Baez because he is of course a better player with higher advantage of winning this match. I think Baez will use a different strategy this time to win the final and Lehecka won't be able to guess that the serves of Baez this time. Baez will also lead when it comes to groundstrokes because he has been aggressive in that area and he will show aggressiveness once again in the final match. But, still it's too early for us to predict the outcome of the match as we also know that Lehecka is also a good player and he may also have a secret strategy for the final match. I still think that Baez has upper edge over Lehecka and he his chances of having victory in the coming match is far higher than that of Lehecka.
2293  Economy / Reputation / Re: Super High IQ BenCodie vs Low IQ forum posters about gambling. on: August 26, 2023, 04:28:37 AM
Everyone has their own point of view where someone may consider something as good while others many consider it bad. There's nothing wrong with gambling if someone is willingly doing it because it's someone's personal choice to spend their money on gambling activities and no one else can interfere with their personal matters. Gambling is a choice and if someone is spending his/her money to gambling activity then he/she has the complete right to do that. I don't know about that guy but I believe that the casinos we promote through our signature space are the ones who trust and we believe that they can be helpful for other users as well.

I know that promoting their signature can also give us some rewards in the form of Bitcoin, but I don't think that promoting a service solely to earn Bitcoin is the real reason of promoting it. Most of the casinos that we promote have been doing really great from the day the have launched their services and if we contribute to their success then there's nothing unethical in that approach. I also won't favor the casinos that are known for their shady ways and no other member of the forum would rent his/her signature space to those shady casinos. If we take the example of 1xBit then you can see that there are hardly any good members of the forum who promoted that casino after realizing that the casino was doing shady business.

A proposed solution to the WO Merit farming situation.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5464606.0

I have voted "No" on that poll because I don't think that the proposed solution of the OP is going to help anyone at all. I would always support someone like JJG because I have been reading his comments for sometime now and so far I've noticed that he always supported the valid information and always opposed the wrong information. Someone like JJG deserves to get respect for whatever he's been contributing to this forum. I truly appreciate everything that JJG has contributed to this forum.
2295  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable JayJuanGee in the Wall Observer thread on: August 26, 2023, 03:54:32 AM
I would strongly disagree to disable JJG or any other member of the WO from distribution of merits or from posting there. We all know that JJG has been doing great on the forum and he has been meriting posts outside of the WO thread. There are so many good members of the WO thread on this forum and they aren't doing anything wrong by meriting the posts. I don't think that disabling a member or merit system from that thread could be any helpful for the forum because I have personally seen many members who aren't contributing good information to the forum and still they are getting so many merits from their local boards. If someone wants to take proper action against merit fishing then they should also consider the merit distribution of those local boards.

I don't know why but I think these type of posts are a type of attack on the WO thread and its members because we all know that most of the members of that thread are quite mature and they have more knowledge than most of us and if those members are meriting a post then they have their valid reasons behind that. As far as I know the merit distribution is someone's own right and as far as they are doing it in a fair way then no one should pose fingers on them. If we all continue to oppose the merit sources then most of the merits will only go to members who have already established themselves on this forum and the new members may not get the merits they deserve to get.

I have personally noticed that JJG has been doing really great on the forum and he has been meriting many posts outside of the WO thread. I mostly give time to read JJG's posts on WO thread because most of his posts are full of information and someone like him deserves to be part of WO thread forever. The WO thread is known for its merit distribution levels and if someone gets merited because of posting something valuable on that thread then there's nothing wrong with that. I request everyone to give a second thought before creating such threads because it can hurt the feelings of the ones who have been doing fairly on this forum for a long time.
2296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: August 25, 2023, 09:08:20 PM
It's interesting to note that many Bitcoin holders might not be fully capitalizing on the inherent volatility of this digital asset. The Bitcoin market can undergo price fluctuations of around 3 to 4 times in a single day, which offers ample opportunities for those who choose to engage in active trading.

While the common approach is to view Bitcoin solely as a long-term investment, it's worth considering an alternative perspective – that of an active trader. By delving into trading strategies, it's plausible to generate a daily income ranging from $20 to $30, provided one has a sound grasp of the market dynamics.

For those intrigued by this concept, there's a wealth of information available, including informative YouTube videos that can serve as a starting point for learning about Bitcoin trading techniques. These resources(https://youtu.be/c7VH96My_3I?feature=shared) can provide valuable insights for anyone willing to explore the active trading side of the Bitcoin market.
And in addition I think its right time that everyone that's interested in bitcoin should also start learning about trading since it gives a good opportunity for anyone to earn off bitcoin. What do y'all think bout this ?

An active trader can earn $20 to $30 profits from trading Bitcoin only if he/she has a huge capital to trade Bitcoin. The ones who have at least one whole Bitcoin could earn such level of profits on daily basis and sometimes they also have to face some losses because the Bitcoin can dump anytime without notification and such traders might have to hold their trades for many days in such cases.

I don't think that the ones who trade Bitcoin on daily basis are the ones making profit out of it because those people can sometimes face huge dips and they may have to sell their coins for a lower price in order to continue their daily trading. There are some traders that might earn some good profits by trading Bitcoin when it gets a dip but those traders are the most knowledgeable ones.

I think the ones who know the art of hodling are the ones who make most profits from Bitcoin because those people accumulate when Bitcoin faces a huge dip and wait for a higher price value or you can say that they wait for the next bull market to sell their holdings for huge profits. There are also those holders that won't sell their Bitcoin for decades and they're the real geniuses who will earn most profit from Bitcoin holdings.
2297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalping on: August 25, 2023, 08:52:02 PM

With the little knowledge I have, I have seen a lot of people scalping and making it than those that does a full trading(hours, days) but they tend to lose  so easily can we say it greediness or it's not advisable generally

Scalping is also a type of trading that a group of traders follow. In scalping a trader basically finds a cryptocurrency or a stock that can give some profit to a trader when its price gets higher. In this type of trading a trader basically follows the charts of a cryptocurrency or stock and whenever he/she finds a good dip then he/she buys some amount of the cryptocurrency or stock and waits for sometime to see a higher price. Once the stock or cryptocurrency gains some price the trader sell of the cryptocurrency or stock and earns some profit because of such trades.

A scalper often opens and closes many positions per day and those type of traders often do so many trades in a day to earn some profit. The scalpers are basically the ones who follow a certain group of technical indicators and when they finds a good price of an asset they purchase it at that price and sell it for a very low %age profit. There are some scalpers who often face huge losses because their main target is to gain profits in short amount of time and sometimes when market faces huge crashes the scalpers lose a lot during those times.
2298  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beware of scammers. on: August 25, 2023, 08:43:39 PM

what can we do, to avoid being a victim.

We can't do anything else then getting proper awareness related to such scams. I have also heard a similar story sometime ago and the scammers used same kind of AI voice cloning tools to scam many people by mimicking the voice of their loved ones. Sometimes we really can't decide that what to do in such situations and we become helpless because the scammers create a scenario that we can't ignore at any cost.

Like in your friend's case he had no option but to send money to his friend because his friend's mother was in hospital and a good friend will most probably help in such situations without asking for much details, but your friend was smart enough that he called you because otherwise he would have lost his $2000 to a scammer. I think you've done a great job by telling us about that scamming tactic those scammers tried on your friend because such threads can educate others to be aware of such scams and they can then avoid being victim of such scams. AI is really going to cause much trouble in future, and that's why I think we should be well prepared to find solutions for those troubles in advance.
2299  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable merits in the Wall Observer thread on: August 25, 2023, 07:08:24 PM
Some of my local board members rank up pretty fast. it was hard for me to believe how they did it when i saw the way they posted. When I checked their source of merit i found that it was WHO. They just keep posting memes and sharing tweets. Some even got merit by saying a joke when i haven't found any logic behind them. If getting merit is that easy then it will lose its value.

You're somehow right that there are many members of the local boards that rank up pretty fast, but that doesn't mean that they get all of the merits from WO thread because some of those members also get good amount of merits from their own local boards. I don't think that they're getting those merits easily. Even in WO thread there are many members who won't get good any merits even they create more than 10 posts a day, but there are only a few lucky ones who get a dozen of merits when their post is liked by @El duderino_ and I think those guys are very lucky because @El Duderino_ is known for his attribute of distributing merits to the posts he finds worthy of getting merits. That doesn't means he gives merits to all those craps the members are posting on WO thread, but to the only ones that are somehow related to Bitcoin.

Even the ones posting memes may get some merits from WO, but that really doesn't mean that those members aren't putting efforts in getting those merits. In fact they're trying their best to find those memes and post it on WO thread to get those merits, and that's the main reason that @OP of this thread wanted the merit system to be disabled on WO thread. Even-through their approach also requires some efforts, but they aren't learning anything in the process and such members won't be able to create good quality posts even if they receive so many merits in a short span of time.
2300  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Account seller is Back on: August 25, 2023, 06:34:35 PM
I never understood why they allow people to sell their accounts to each other here. It's indefensible. Or maybe I am missing something here? Inform me about it. I want to know both arguments.
Because having multiple accounts is one thing that has been allowed in the forum from the beginning so to curb account sales, banning multiple accounts should be put in place which is close to impossible or might lead to catastrophic effects to the forum growth so I guess that's why admin is reluctant when it comes to that.

Accounts back then were of little value, so there was no point buying an account. One could grow an account from brand new to legendary effortlessly until spam and bots became a problem, so measures were put in place to curb spamming like activity points, merit.

Yes, before the implementation of the merit system it was easy for those account farmers to rank an account with just spam posting, but after the implementation of the merit system the whole scenario of the forum changed. Those days it would require someone to make at least a single post a day or 14 posts in 2 days or even in a week to gain activity points and that kind of thing can be done by a bot easily. But, after the implementation of merit based system all those activities were halted and a few of those farmers have already made out many accounts back then.

They're now selling those farmed accounts to generate revenue or you can say that they're trying to scam others with their tactics these days. The selling of accounts is officially disliked in this forum and thus the sellers try to contact the other party via Telegram or Discord and that form of communication has its own risks. Sometimes those account sellers are just fake entities and they only trap some newbies to loot money out of their pockets.
