2282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some stable altcoins ? on: December 17, 2017, 06:13:04 AM
It is very difficult to observe 1000 coins, but the one i have to observed that is Ethereum, it have a stable value, it's need a long time for the price to go up, and it need a long time to get the price down. But in 2018 the price ethereum will be high maybe the price reach arround $2000.

ETH has not had a stable history to be honest, It had its volatile up and downs, I say this is due for people using ETH as a send your money tool, I exchange my btc to ETH and send it to a wallet then I cash out.

2284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin going crazy on: December 14, 2017, 05:16:46 PM
Well litecoin has been around for a very long time as a matter of fact.  So I am not really surprised that it is increasing.  I was wondering when it would to be honest with you.  They even have their own forum and nice friendly team.  Litecoin was also suppose to be the silver of bitcoin, is possible since there are new people that are into crypto are buying it because they read that somewhere on google.
2285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man loses $22,000 in cryptocurrency scam on: December 14, 2017, 04:52:05 PM
Honestly how we know this guy is not scamming with gofund me?  He looks like the type to use a sad story to make people donate to him.
I hope he does not get a free ride.  Also anyone can pay someone to write some news worthy story to point to there donation page.  I am very skeptical about this story.  I would be wary in making and donations, we hear a lot of these stories everyday.  I even got scammed but never asked for free handouts.  Also reason why I said this is because look at the OP post history he posts all the time to this news site.
2286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex disabling my account on: December 14, 2017, 03:03:32 PM
Yes, recently Bittrex took many measures on its exchange. They have reduced the withdrawal limit to 0 that is close to disabling for the unverified accounts. I went for verification process and my account is working fine now. Bittrex is now getting strict with rules and recently delisted many coins from their exchanges as well.

Yes is true,  I suggest you first get verified on their platform before putting any cryptocoins on their platform.  That is what I have done and no issues.
Sometimes becoming to strict is not good, look at paypal, then went down hill since they have limit attacks on their user base.  I rather use another exchange but Bitrex is the only exchange I know that is OK I can get my alt coins from.   Any how his account was banned due to having two accounts from the same IP address.
2287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency: Opportunities And Scams on: December 14, 2017, 10:44:18 AM
Anything that relates to money will have a hand in these kind of scams.  There is no way to avoid it.  The only best thing you can do is invest
smart and not put all your eggs in one basket.  I done my fair share of bad investments but what does not kill you stronger.  ICO are target for virtual products or services that is hard to see with your eyes, not much ICO based on physical form yet.  Most of these ICO and altcoins are faith investments.
2288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ☃☃☃ The #1 Factor Driving Bitcoin Prices ☃☃☃ on: December 14, 2017, 09:41:34 AM
The Number #1 Factor Driving Bitcoin Prices Is:

Greed

People want to get rich quickly and not work. They think that bitcoin profits will last forever. People are investing in bitcoin, not because they believe in the future of the currency, but because they want to pad their pocketbook. Big money in Asia markets are manipulating the price. And everyone is coming along for the ride in the pursuit of profits. Bitcoin technology has increased very minimally but the cost to buy bitcoin has gone up 5,000,000 times its initial cost. Everyone is hoping to sell their bitcoin to the next person in line for more and more money. Greed will drive the price up as high as possible, and greed will cause the crash as well. Crypto is a really neat concept, but turning it into an investment tool is making us more motivated by profits than actual beliefs. Not to mention Crypto is destroying billions of dollars worth of resources each day. Its really sad to watch humanity destroy the world in pursuit of profits

Warning for EVERYONE:  The troll named “nullius” is spamming the forum with FUD warnings. He is very annoying and stalks all my threads

Yes I had posted about this, it is very sad.  But greed is very real and it has always been part of human nature and through nature the strong will survive.  It is imprinted in our DNA.  There are people who want to be richer then other people, so this is what drives these people who are into Bitcoin to hoard and hold their bitcoins.  I really want Bitcoin to be about using as a payment but instead now it has a dollar sign all over it.  Also why are you spamming the threads?
2289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: December 14, 2017, 08:08:24 AM
Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

I can say no to this, It will not die anytime soon.   Look at MTGOX time if it was going to die it would have benn around that time.
Alot of people got scared and dumped due to that point in time, It went all the way from 1,100 USD to 250 USD and then it stabalized and people thought prices of bitcoin was to expensive as well.  So as you see Bitcoin getting this high will mean no it wont die.  Even if every gov banned it, still wont die.
2290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoin or HODL Altcoins? on: December 14, 2017, 06:07:04 AM
Well that can depend on the alt coin you want to hold.  I think there some nice alt coins to invest in right now.  Bitcoins I would say keep 50 percent
in your bitcoinwallet.  Bitcoin is calm waters now, but as expected, same trend happens before the next bullrun.  You must do your own research, I lost money listening to people and I mean investing.  when ETH was 2 dollars I asked them and they told me it was shit.  So see you must do your own research.
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost is too high on: December 13, 2017, 04:10:52 PM
yeah is high, because there is only 1mb per block allowed in the first place.  So you have think every 10 minutes 1mb of data
is allowed.  Its a swindling amount of data and also the miners will always pick the high Transaction fees so is like people are bidding against each other just send their bitcoins.
2292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Method of gaining bitcoin from scratch on: December 13, 2017, 10:58:45 AM
Hey guys,

What are some methods of gaining bitcoin from scratch? Grin
Preferably not faucets

You can earn bitcoins in many free ways,  one way I earn bitcoins on the side is working on task sites and survey sites.
I sell my Gift cards to bitcoin exchanges on purse.io or on Reddit.  Purse.io you can add your amazon gift card to your
Amazon balance then, order them their product, the only fall back it takes awhile but def worth it.  I bought at 12,000 USD rate and now earned more since bitcoin has risen on value.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ☘☘☘ Futures Will Increase The Volatility Of Bitcoin ☘☘☘ on: December 12, 2017, 10:59:27 AM
Futures won't necessarily impact the direction of bitcoin (in regards to the price going up or down). But it will greatly impact the volatility. Bitcoin is already one of the most volatile assets in the world. Which allows for massive profits AND massive losses to be made at the same time. The swings are going to get more intense because it will become easier to bet both sides without actually holding any coins. The peaks and the dips are about to get more intense.

With fees increasing so much it will be very hard to sell and buy bitcoin on whim. So people will lean toward holding. The problem is that futures will start to have a greater impact since the fees will be smaller and people will be able to bet on the direction of bitcoin without actually buying or selling it.

Good luck to any day traders trying to chase the ups and downs! Good luck to the HODLers! Good luck to you all ☘

Just realize with volatility comes risk. There is a tradeoff of substantial risk (depending on your actual investment) for a potential of incredible returns

I noticed in your threads you been posting neg fud about bitcoin, why do you not come here and post it with your real account instead of using an newbie alt account?  your Post wont hold credible with me, especially with all your negative bantering about it on every thread you have posted about it.  Guys research his account and you will see he has an agenda to spread panic.
2294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why people fear about BITCOIN on: December 12, 2017, 07:12:55 AM
Because bitcoin is a cryptocurrency even though it is accepted by more and more people, it still can be listed as fiat coin. What is more, may countries have announced bitcoin is not fiat currency.  But what make the holders happy is that the price goes higher and higher,  this can added to their value. Cheesy

it seems you do not know what fiat is?  How can Bitcoin be a fiat coin?  Fiat is when a currency has intrinsic value  that is
established by the government as money.  Government can control that value, they basically use there power to give it a value.
also Fiat in latin means "Let it be done"  in case you did not know that.
2295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 11, 2017, 12:13:54 PM
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.

What will happen if the price of Bitcoin will go down? LOL. Don't make Bitcoin as a gamble of your daily life.

Tell that to the family who sold there house and all property for money then invested it all in bitcoin when bitcoin was 3000 USD now his money is quadrupled and they still did not convert it back to fiat, because I am sure you can buy a house with bitcoin now and there is no need too, when the price will go to 100k and up.
This is maybe an option for a single person who is risk taker with no dependents but in my life, considering I have a family of my own, this is definitely not applicable and not even a choice. Besides, in my personal opinion, I do not find it practical. Having a house to live in is one of the essential need of man.  A comfortable place to rest is important. I just don't imagine myself living on street just to earn more money.   It is not bad to sacrifice something to be able to buy bitcoin but not up to extent that I will sell my house.
You depend too much on the system that means, you cant survive without the daily things.  All you need is a wireless laptop, solar charger for the laptop battery and wifi connection to a hotspot or a prepaid as you go internet card.  If I can get my mother in law to sell their lands I would.
2296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 10, 2017, 01:03:22 PM
too good to be true,
the first question will be how long do u think it might happen?
next question is how about the energy consumption of the miners?
and the3rd question will be how big is the fees will gonna be?
well it might happen who knows right?

Those questions are the reality.  But to answer the question, it is possible that it could happen.  It could happen but not so soon.  We saw how bitcoin price hastily goes up.  And maybe just five years from now, its price would be like what we want.

yes it is possible, but i guess by that time most normal people cannot even afford to pay for the fees....
but ofc im one of those who saw bitcoin frm hundreds climbing up to thousands and that was really awesome!
as of now all we can do it wait and be observant...anything can happen fast at this point, either a fast pump continue or a fast dump...
Honestly if they do a dump, so what. Is better for everyone to be honest, I really want to put my money into bitcoin anyhow, what I really want is the fees to be fixed and the speed.  I really hoping the lighting network can do away with the issues that bitcoin is having right now. and if it can not, then I gotta say maybe bitcoin wont fare well in the long run, or maybe it will be just a rich mans coins where only the rich will use it.
2297  Economy / Speculation / Re: NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY!! on: December 10, 2017, 12:49:28 PM
everyone is panicking because it’s hitting Wall Street tomorrow ..... fact of the matter is, price will still reach 25k range by January since Bitcoin will remain a growing commodity.. and once big investors start pumping huge money into it, the takeoff is inevitable. Buy now or you’ll soon regret it.. all these talks of a crash by people who missed the boat is striking lots of fear in people, but it’s fear that’s not rooted in reality.

Don’t say i didn’t warn you folks.

You have no idea if BTC will go to $25K in January, or ever. Stop talking nonsense.

I just cashed out all my initial capital, and now just playing with house money. I won't be a buyer ever unless BTC drops below $10K.

Then you will be left in the dust, you will be one of those ones saying, damn I should have bought bitcoin when it was at 13,000 when it is at 130,000 USD.  I seen this alot, I wont buy blah blah, then when prices increases 20 folds they cry.  Truth I can find all these stories and they are all the same.  I suggest you buy in this low dip now before you miss out.  You should also look out for my thread, explaining if you own 0.01 btc your already a millionaire.
2298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will CME's and CBOE's bitcoin futures affect the market? on: December 09, 2017, 01:33:08 PM
Government regulator: We're going 'to make sure' new bitcoin futures are not manipulated.

Federal oversight of bitcoin futures aims to preserve the integrity of the contracts, a CFTC official tells CNBC.

So if this is True, you guys should be buying as much as you can right now lol.  you guys are scared.  Winklevoss also confirmed my prediction to a 100 million dollar bitcoin.  Keep speculating and before the whales come in you will miss out.
2299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 09, 2017, 01:15:12 PM
If bitcoin goes up to 100 million how will fees work? $3000 to send $2000 ?? If you not rich by then how are you going to pay for the transactions? I think we need to start slowly lowering the minig fees because I think the way it works is the average miner fee is dependent on the average fee paid by us, so the miners don't control the fees at all. So really it should be like 5000 Satoshi to may a small transaction but because people keep insisting on these high fees the miners just ignore or only get back to your transaction if no there no more transactions of better value. If everyone lowered their fees it would be much cheaper because the average would drop. Paying for miner fees is kind of like a currency in itself. The currency is the miner fee you pay. Right now that miner fee is worth a lot. So it's basically an auction and the highest bidders have their transactions handled first.

I think there is another way around it, I really dont want to put the secret out to be honest because, I love the fact people want to dump, I can dump faster then most people, especially the ones who depend on coinbase to cash out.  There is another way to cash out your bitcoins faster though.  You do not really need to move your coins to wallet to wallet but for the instance of making purchases for services and products, yeah we have to agree this is getting ridiculous.
2300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 09, 2017, 11:04:32 AM
In my opinion, this prediction is nonsense  Cheesy
Winklevoss Says,

"We've always felt that bitcoin, given its properties, is gold 2.0 — it disrupts gold. Gold is scarce, bitcoin is actually fixed. Bitcoin is way more portable and way more divisible. At a $300 billion market cap, it's certainly seen a lot of price appreciation, but gold is at $6 trillion and if bitcoin disrupting gold is true and it plays out ... then you can see 10 to 20 times appreciation because there is a significant delta still," Cameron Winklevoss told CNBC on Friday.

"Long term, directionally, it is a multitrillion-dollar asset — I don't know how long it takes to get there,"

This is what they said and I predicted this price at 10,000 but not this soon.

So anything you want to add about this being nonsense?
