I understood well? If I buy 10 MNE (about 0.1ETH) and me participate in ICO  receive 1,000 ARTE, and if  participate with 1 ETH  receive 1000 arte? Where is the logic?

Exactly. The logic is that new investors are all buying MNE, which will all be burned when spent on the ICO. People see 1 Eth = 1000 ART = 10MNE and they think 'wow, MNE is gonna go to 1/10 of ETH', but that's not happening, because what the devs clearly didn't take into account, is that you need marketing to attract new investors.
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO ON SEPTEMBER 14 on: September 14, 2017, 04:21:53 PM
i thought that today price of MNE will be 10+ usd, but we see that its about 3 usd:/
till ico left few hours, hope there will be some activity and price will be x2 from current

The whole crypto markets are into huge pressure of selling around the world this is not fault of MNE why price is down at the moment. When this rally will get started than we have chance to get recover and it will get around $8 I also watching the activity of this market.

What you don't understand is that we know nothing about the project we're investing in. THe ICO is literally in a few hours, yet most of the questions asked by the community have not been answered. What happens to the genesis mining when Eth goes from proof of work to proof of stake? How do they plan on completing their roadmap for both MNe and Art?

are you still going to invest?  Do you think its a scam?  The developers refusal to answer questions infuriates me.  Yet I am still investing.  Partially because I think its a better chance to make money than letting my MNE just die off a slow painful death to nothing, and partially because the developer has actually done everything he has said he was going to do, and hit all the target dates.

I am gonna invest, yes, and i don't think it's a scam. But as an investor it's my right to be angry when i see other coins get listed on bittrex, binance and polo so quickly, yet MNE only has shit exchanges. Why would ART be different? I invest because I think it's possible that they hire someone qualified who actually knows how to market a product

ICO starts in 1:30 minutes!

It starts in 40 minutes and we haven't heard from the devs in days... Yay...

Because you didn't pay anything mne, at least genesis holders didn't pay anything for it.

I paid on average 3$ per coin and I hold 143 of them. A lot of people paid for them, every coin the genesis holders have sold, was paid for by investors like myself.
2285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 14, 2017, 04:18:33 PM
I believe China wants just to regulate exchanges and cryptocurrency in general, so it can be centralized and regulated.

Decentralized Exchanges like the Blocknet should give Chinese traders a breath of fresh air.  A fully decentralized trustless atomic swap exchange that can't be shut down by any government. UI product to be rolled out in several months!

What happens when China prosecutes citizens who send money to those exchanges? They did worse things to their people before.
2286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Stox - Prediction market platform | Token sale has ended on: September 14, 2017, 04:14:20 PM
The price is ridiculously undervalued, how can we do? Hodl and buy more?

If you think it'll go up soon, buy more, if you don't, hodl and wait for a low point to buy

Decentralized exchange: https://bisq.network/

This is what we need for the chinese people
2288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for September on: September 14, 2017, 03:04:33 PM
Please what is the best ICO give me some suggest of ICO is the best in the month september.

Change-bank, their ICO is this saturday. It's gonna allow anyone in the world to pay, invest, apply for loans, get insurance, and basically everything else a bank offers, with cryptocurrency in the blink of an eye. It costs 1 ETH to get 500 CAG, so the timing is perfect as the eth price is so low right now. Their supply has a max of 312 million. I believe in 5 years time they can reach 1/10th of visa's cap of 230 billion, so 23 billion divided over 312 million coins gives us a coin valued at about 70$. An investment of 240$ (1 eth) could get you profits of up to 35.000$ in 5 years

Stop spreading these rumors! The government of China is still nothing confirmed and not saying to ban ico! The only true news at the moment, is closing down bitcoin exchanges.

Isn't that enough for you? Why would an exchange voluntarely close its doors? The government wants a piece of the pie, and if they can't have it, they'll make sure no one gets pie in a very long time. Mark my words, we'll end 2017 below the 100 billion cap

Sigh, I did tell you that everybody would be dumping on ICO day. People came to the same realisation that I did. Things cannot rise in value if there is no intrinsic reason for people to buy other than pure speculation.

I have not re-bought some MNE since the price is $2.71 way down from the $4.14 when I sold at. I actually do genuinely like the concept of creating my own concurrency and that is why I am buying into ART. There is actually some value attached to ART.

Took the words right out of my mouth  Cheesy Minereum will rise again in the future, no doubt, but they're gonna need to have a full working app and lottery to pass the ATH, but with the lower supply it's gonna be able to go up a lot faster IMO

@Minereum / dev :

Here is a recap of the question we are interesting for.

1 - So just to clarify, if we want to have multiple genesis addresses, so we can sell one later on, we would need to contribute using multiple 'myetherwallet' addresses too ?

2 - If I sell a Genesis Address, do I keep my ETH-Address and the contract is converted to the buyers ETH-Wallet? Otherwise I canīt be sure that the seller burns the private key from that wallet.

3 - Since the self mining contract is tied to Ethereum mining blocks what then happens when Ethereum switch to POS ? will the self mining contract cease to work? according to many people ETH POS is to commence soon !

4 - Can explain with more details and some examples the ARTEMINE public mining ?

5 - I let the community to maintain the list and add the nexts questions :-).

Thanks for you reply.

Most of these simple questions are still not answered, I canīt understand why.

Proof of stake shouldn't really mess with the genesis mining imo

eth and btc crash today ,buy MNE  now is very profit ,but i didn't why crash ,what's up about btc and eth today .

One of Chinas biggest platforms will be closed by sep 30th. The Chinese governement claims to do it to protect it's citizens, but all they want is to control cryptos. Nothing scares them more than to see Chinese people make money they can't tax or track properly. All they want is the biggest piece of the pie, and until they find a way to do so AND keep crypto investing profitable, we're in a bear market. I'm 100% sure we'll end 2017 under the 100 billion cap, unless something changes of course. Also, we'll probably end 2018 above the 200 billion cap
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of ICO ban in China on: September 14, 2017, 01:11:29 PM
crypto revolution is stronger than china because its unstoppable
there will be alternative ways to get cryptos anonymously
and more money will start flowing into this market
= more new coins and projects take their place in the top

You know the market cap dropped with almost 60 billion in two weeks right? China is the biggest player in terms of investors, so it's definitely a big deal. We're clearly in for a bear market the next couple of months, even though I hope I'm wrong. Now is the good time to buy because I think we'll end 2018 at 250 billion
Well china sure affect a lot but when it's over we'll get used to it, I guess that the crypto world will be fine even without chinese investors, this world will evolute and then get mature.
there's no point about bragging that we just lost 60bn cap because there's nothing we can do, if you can affect the chinese regulation, then you have the chance.
Not bragging, warning.
2296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchanges closing in China - just regulation on: September 14, 2017, 01:08:26 PM
You seriously underestimate the effects of China wanting to control the uncontrolable. They don't want people making money they can't track or tax, so they're doing everything they can to stop that. They claim it's to protect their citizens, but they want to protect their own money and power, end of story. Look, in the long haul, cryptos will become king, but the upcoming months will be bearish, trust me. We're gonna end 2017 under the 100 billion cap, but hopefully we'll end 2018 above the 200 billion cap
2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China is playing us on: September 14, 2017, 12:52:09 PM
I dont unterstand the people, that sell their Bitcoin long term investments while this FUD. I mean China is just going crazy again, bitcoin is not going to die, just because a small exchange in China is closed at end of september. Remember all the FUD from China in the past. Everytime we dumped hard, we gone up massive after that FUD!
So hold on guys Smiley

The future looks bright, but the upcoming months don't. Don't forget that the vast majority of traders invest with emotion, not with strategy. I'm not selling, in fact I'm buying, but most people sell to minimize their losses
2298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China is playing us on: September 14, 2017, 12:50:58 PM
China wants the biggest possible piece of the pie. They closed down one of their biggest exchanges, and they banned fundraising through ICO's. It's clear what they want, they want control over the uncontrolable. If it were a different country it wouldn't be the biggest problem, but it's china we're talking about. They're one of the biggest players in this market and chances are we're gonna be in decline for the next couple of months. Smart people know that the future looks bright, but the majority of investors trade with emotion, and they'll sell to minimize their losses
2299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC China closing down. End of bitcoin in China? on: September 14, 2017, 12:45:07 PM
Here is the news:
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-bitcoin-btcc/bitcoin-exchange-btcchina-to-stop-trading-from-sept-30-idUSKCN1BP1J8

BTCChina, which also runs an international exchange out of Hong Kong, also said on its official microblog that it would stop registration of new users from Thursday.
China has boomed as a cryptocurrency trading venue in recent years as its domestic exchanges had previously allowed users to conduct trades for free, attracting investors and speculators who boosted demand.

So, is this the beginning of the end of the so called chinese boom ?

I think we're in for a very long bear market. The Chinese can't stop cryptocurrency forever, but they can slow it down, and they will. The Chinese have never been fond of things they can't control. They do everything in their power to get the biggest piece of the pie they can possibly get, so if that means closing down their exchanges and banning ICO's, they will.

Looking at the future I'd say it looks really bright. Once the governments figure out how they can benefit from this market, they'll allow it again. I predict we'll end 2018 at a 250 billion dollar marketcap.
