2301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: June 19, 2022, 02:22:46 AM
Yes, absolutely!
Palmeiras is currently in an excellent period, let's see if they will continue with this same performance throughout the season!
Although, several games in a short period makes the team prioritize which championship it will focus on or it will be necessary to rotate between the starting players with the reserves.

It's difficult to bet against Palmeiras, they are deservedly occupying the first place in the championship and with an excellent performance in other games as well, so it isntt a matter of prioritizing a certain championship, but the fact that they have a very strong team to face any team.
Obviously a classic game moves the mood of the players a lot, so this can be a differential in favor of Sao Paulo, in addition to the fact that he will play at home.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 19, 2022, 02:14:51 AM
It is going to be really awkward for me to have this World Cup in a month like November. Because we have always been accustomed to watching this beautiful tournament in summers. But maybe I'm very prejudiced about this and it will still be a lot of fun. However this will change the order of everything also. Because there is going to be a huge break for the domestic leagues then. This can cause the fixtures to be even tighter after the World Cup ends. Or maybe the season would end very late compared to normal.

Probably this is decided because of the ongoing problem in the whole world. There are a lot of problems currently in the world and that is obviously not ideal. The world has not recovered 100% from the Coronavirus situation and you already have the Russia and Ukraine problem. A lot of political problems are going on right now and among all of these problems, it was really hard to even arrange the world cup. So, I don't have any problems watching the world cup happening in November.

Exactly, since the pandemic and then this war started, nothing is in its normal rhythm.
We must remember that it would be crazy to hold the games in the summer in Qatar, the weather would be very inhospitable for the players.
If we've already had problems with the games that take place in the amazon (Brazil) due to the high temperature and humidity, imagine what we wouldn't have with a desert climate in the middle of summer.
The local championships have already prepared to take a break during the world cup, everything has been planned for a long time... it will be a great event, be sure of it.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: June 19, 2022, 02:09:51 AM
It all depends on a person on how would they control themselves when certain emotions kicked in. I think gambling will be very effective if a person know how to control his emotion no matter what the outcome of the game. I mean, come on even if you knew what was going to happen when you gamble but you don't know how to stop even if you are winning, then what's the purpose of your knowledge? For winning purposes only? What if you had a lose streaks? Does knowledge stop that?

Yes, the main knowledge in gambling is knowing that you are there to have fun, not to make money, which most of the time will result in you losing money.
Then knowledge will tell you that there are no foolproof strategies, and that knowledge will keep you from spending more than you should be losing.

With each passing day I see more and more people promoting foolproof winning strategies with low risks, only people who have no knowledge, especially newbies in gambling, believe it.

So, definitely, the knowledge and experience gained in gambling makes a big difference. If you haven't learned anything after months of playing games, then you're addicted to it.

2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: June 18, 2022, 01:28:26 AM
Well , for me , this will be the first World Cup that will be held during the Winter and I must say that it will be an unique experience for almost everyone as Fifa is doing this for first time. [...]

There is no winter in Qatar.
There, every day is hot and the night is freezing, as in any desert.
Players will have to accept it, just as they had to accept the high temperatures and high relative humidity when they played in Manaus, Brazil.
It was necessary to take breaks during the games, but in the end everyone survived  Cheesy

2308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 17, 2022, 01:42:37 AM
Mercedes the past week asked to FIA to reduce the problem of the porposing on all the cars, and at that time FIA said, it is only your problem.

Today FIA released an official statement and Mercedes will get a huge problem with it, some points of the statement are:

-Cars must need to be under a value (x) in the vertical jumps to be regular
-More controls at the bottom of the car.

Mercedes will get a huge problem since it is the car with more proposing.

They need to increase the high of the car from the ground to reduce it and in this way, they will lose a lot of time.

In fact something needs to be done, as it was worrying to see the difficulty Lewis Hamilton had to get out of his car due to the severe back pain generated by this problem.
Whether this is a problem exclusive to Mercedes, I don't know, this is what was most evident, but I think it's important that the FIA pays special attention to it.
The question now is how they will measure these vertical oscillations and define a safety limit.... because the circuits where the tests are carried out have much more impact than the construction of the cars.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 17, 2022, 01:34:36 AM
But if he is not appointed to be the captain next season Ronaldo will still play a good role , he has been doing more than a captain ever since . If Ronaldo won't be the captain Manchester United needs to find one who can fit in to be the captain,   not just a captain that will occupy position and knowing what to do with the position.
Through out last season,Manchester United players as a whole have not been doing what they are supposed do,they have not played well for sometimes now,and maybe they really need a rebranding at the club.Christiano Ronaldo has been the only player playing well for Manchester United, and he has carried the club on his soldier to ensure they get to a good spot on the table.
Cristiano is a good captain, a veteran who has a strategic vision and knows very well how to lead his team, but I see that today's armband is more of a symbol, you don't have to wear a piece of cloth on your arm to be the " leader" of a team, there are a lot of players on the field who lead without an armband, and that's really cool to see.
So I don't see that as a problem, Ronaldo will always continue to impress, whether it's his goals or his leadership on the field... with or without an armband.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Budweiser also entered the world of the cryptocurrency Industry on: June 17, 2022, 01:26:35 AM
Do you think Budweiser has made a good move in entering the world of cryptocurrency and NFT? Because according to this article,
One of the well-known and popular beer makers Budweiser has partnered with ZED Run to deploy a Clydesdale draft horse in the world of virtual NFT-based horse racing and wagering games.

NFTs have been part of the business world of large companies for a good few months now, I am surprised that Budweiser is only now entering this market.
But, I think it's not too late, there is still a lot of room to grow and nothing better than investing in a niche that they already dominate, and joining with betting has everything to achieve great success.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 15, 2022, 11:55:41 PM
Hello good day to all the members in this forum, Did you know that even if you win at gambling, you lose as well? Don't you think that's how it happened? and that’s the thing that I'd like to tackle about this topic, Because it’s hard to win at gambling, now if you want to know why? Join the conversation here.

[...]

I totally agree with you, and do you know why?
Because gambling was created for just two reasons:
Bring money for those who create the games and fun for those who bet.
Players should never think otherwise, because although there are some exceptions, the vast majority follows the trend I mentioned above.
That said, I continue to play every month the amount I like to invest in my entertainment, I never took a dime from the sites, but I've stayed a few times without having to make new contributions, but in the end they took everything I had, because I wanted it that way. .
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 15, 2022, 11:50:25 PM
Let us assume that high odds start from 1.5 and above while low odds starts from 1.2 and below.

I specifically like football gambling. When I started to gamble, I go for high odds, but I was not that experienced and I lost a lot. I gained experience but I preferred to gamble on low odds. Only what this led me to is to play more and I noticed losses too. This is just a means someone can also become addicted because low odds will only want you to accumulate and bet more. If you bet more frequently than usual, regardless of the odd, be it high or low, loss is inevitable, it is guaranteed.

I play less often unlike before, I reduced the money I am using to bet, emotions gone and I win than before. How about you people, are you high odd punter or low odd. Can you also tell us your experience? At you losing or you make profit from the odds you are taking?

I've always been a low-staker, from the time I played martingale with 10 satoshis to today when I bet no more than $10 on a sports game.
I've always liked having more chances to play without risking all the value I have in a few bets, adrenaline is not something I enjoy in games of chance.
I prefer to be in control of my bets and be able to stop when I realize I'm having a bad day without clearing my balance in a few moves

2314  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bitcoin a 100K em 2025, vc concorda? on: June 15, 2022, 11:38:04 PM

Ouro é o 1, bitcoin o 10 on: June 12, 2022, 11:57:10 PM

Roll Eyes
2318  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Por que 21 milhões? on: June 12, 2022, 11:50:31 PM
(Binance, etc) on: June 12, 2022, 11:43:58 PM

Ten Hag probably does not want him (United is looking for Antony).
Is there a statement from Ten Hag that he doesn't want Ronaldo on Man United squad?
I just know this issue and I'm surprised Ten Hag isn't satisfied with Ronaldo. As far as I know, Ronaldo is the most productive player in Man United in the last season. It isn't a good idea to exclude him from the next season plan.

I'm also surprised to read this, because nowhere did I see anything about Ten Hang talking bad about Ronaldo.
In fact, Ten Hag has big plans for Ronaldo and wants to form a "dream duo" with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lewandowski up front.
But I think that Hag's dream will have to be postponed... because I believe that Barcelona have a better chance of achieving it, and that also seems to be Lewandowski's wish.
