2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin as a local currency! on: August 25, 2021, 06:26:21 PM
Everyone on the forum knows what Bitcoin is. We already know that many countries have removed this currency from the ban. I mean, will all the nations of the world use Bitcoin as a currency? How important will it be? It will not go to the good side to the bad side?I want to know the opinion-
The government wants to control bitcoin, but the decentralized nature of bitcoin has made it difficult for them to regulate it. A currency that represents a country is always under the control of the government, but bitcoin won’t subdue to them, there is no way for them to handle it. Bitcoin might just be an internet money that would be used by people who wants to make use of it for their day to day online transactions.

But, for representing every country around the world, I can’t tell you that is possible right now, I don’t deem it possible for now. Finding out what the future holds is quite a difficult thing to do, anything can still happen, so we are not sure.
2302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason why investors often lose money on: August 25, 2021, 05:40:21 PM
not aware of new market changes. I think this is often underestimated, even though in crypto the market is always changing, in terms of prices, coin trends, and is also bullish. I think investors should always update this in order to maximize the security of the money
Even the strategies have to be changed after a while. Some traders who did excellent earlier are suffering now because they failed to keep themselves updated to the market trends and behavior. So I agree with you that understanding the market trend and molding your strategies accordingly is among many other reasons for the loss.

I think using market previous situations to determine the current market probable outcome is one the reason for losses!  Cryptocurrency is very dynamic and usually form similar pattern not situation.  Situations are always different but you can pick a pattern and bank on pattern for profit!
Right it's basically the same thing, not being able to update yourself with time. I see people discussing whether the bull run will continue or stop and how much price we will reach but most of them make their prediction based on how the market reacted based on previous data. I understand that reading past data is important but the market changes every minute.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best wallet for Crypto Sportbooks deposits/withdrawals? on: August 25, 2021, 01:54:17 PM
from this image, I will prefer to use a non-exchange wallet at first and then if going to sell the coin, it can be sent from the wallet itself.
I know that it will spend more money or fee on the transaction. But at least, it will be safer enough. Moreover, many exchanges will also probably delay or deny our deposit if it is considered from strange platforms or gambling site (moreover if the funds are quite big). there will be several steps that we should follow to recover or to return our funds.
But, if there are some reputable exchanges that don't mind about this, maybe this can be a way if we are directly going to sell the coin.
I would highly recommend the Exodus wallet. It's a wallet which also has an in-built exchange hence is very useful and doesn't charge very high fees for exchanges and they have desktop and mobile versions.

Any wallet that provides you the private keys is a trusted wallet and this is also the reason why centralized exchanges can never serve as good wallets. Blockchain(.)com's wallet is a good one but it does not accept too many coins.

Sometimes I use gambling sites as wallet for small amounts like if I have money in Bitsler I can send to stake and vice versa.
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anyone explain these gambling questions? (Client Seed & RTP) on: August 25, 2021, 06:43:14 AM
A site like "Stake" provides a feature where you can change your "Client Seed" ..... so in theory, if say 1000 people use the same "Client Seed" ... then all those gamblers that are sharing the same seed, are supposed to win and lose at the same time... right?  (Does the Server Seed differ from user to user too.. or is it the same for all the users on the site?)
The server seed for each player is different. Also, there is a nonce, so basically if you use the same client and server seed, you will still get different results because the nonce increase with each bet.

Once you verify your bets (reveal the server seed) then the server seed is changed for you.

RTP is a very simple concept. The return expected to the player for each bet the player makes is called the RTP. A 95% RTP means on wagering 100 coins you shall get back 95 of them back. This doesn't mean you will always get back 95 though, because it depends on the volatility as well. So basically you might end up having 50 coins after wagering 100 while another user may get 150 so that evens out things.

I am a little surprised a legendary member is asking such simple questions. But I understand not everyone gambles or is aware of the provably fair mechanism.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 24, 2021, 07:18:14 PM
If you are the current champion and are going to rest on your laurels next season, then the cruel reality will definitely show itself in all its glory and can destroy all your wonderful plans. Moreover, the championship of last season Atletico Madrid was not unconditional and Real Madrid and Barcelona were also fighting for the title of champion until the last rounds. Therefore, the surest chance for Atletico Madrid or any other club now is to collect as many points as possible at the beginning of the season and create a comfortable gap while Real Madrid and Barcelona are rebuilding their squads and hope that the overclocked giants will not be able to catch up at the end of the season  Grin
I believe that there is a good chance we could see ATM lose of course, however in normal cases there is a good chance that they will lose in many cases, they won like only once a decade or so previously and they did it last season as well and in normal cases people would have expected them to actually lose a lot as well, that is what the normal situation would be like and that is why I believe that it is a big of a shock that they are still good and looking better than everyone else.

I believe that Real and Barcelona may not recover their team rosters all of this season because they lost so much and didn't get too much back. If we could see them get good names then we could see changes.
2306  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: August 24, 2021, 06:18:15 PM
When we talk that crypto can give you freedom or medium to help you become rich, that means we talk about the function of crypto as a store value. As we know, there are some functions which have by Crypto. Store value, speculative and transaction tool. Crypto has its potential to make ur value asset become higher than before and the value is always higher than inflation rate. This will help you to keep ur life in financial crisis but we should know that there is a term and a condition.
That is the biggest part that people are still not using and that is a bit of a problem. Like people still value getting a house and renting it to someone else as a better way to invest than crypto, a friend told me that his house he bought 2.5 years ago made 2x profit for him which is insane not every house does that but he literally did that because he bought a house that was already undervalued and now there is a metro station there which helped the prices, so he knowingly invested into that, his rent income nearly doubled meanwhile as well.

I told him bitcoin made about 10x during the same period and he should have invested into that, and he said "how could I know bitcoin would go up, it is a risk", as if owning a house is not a risk, lol. This is why people still do not put most of their money into bitcoin yet, just the ones they are willing to lose, the moment people start to see bitcoin as the main investment method, we will see millions of dollars for each bitcoin.
2307  Economy / Economics / Re: Only young and naive guy believe in high risk high return on: August 24, 2021, 02:56:09 PM
I recall some other "desperate moves" here in the forum wherein the OP wants to sell all his assets including his house, just for the sake of investing it in crypto. There's just that those people that think that they can go long step forward just to get ahead of these elites.

I agree that the Internet is sufficient enough for every knowledge, and most of the resources out there are even free and being published almost everywhere. Some are even being published in Youtube and that's a plus, because not everybody is a fan of reading.
Selling the house to invest in cryptocurrencies might be one of the riskiest prospects I have heard in a long time. I am not sure if they were serious or not but such options don't end well.

You are right, these moves are actually desperate and although good for the crypto community, the person doing such things needs to actually calm down a bit and understand that it's not like BTC will be 1 million within a week. They have time to plan how to invest and alternatively, they can also earn crypto which means you get paid much higher for the same work.

For example: If you design a website and get paid $100 in crypto, and the price doubles in a year, you simply earned $200 for the same task.
2308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 23, 2021, 08:08:53 PM
When you are already the champions and the team roster didn't change too much, you do not really need to get better, or get used to things, first games are not a big deal for you because you are already just rolling the last season into a new one. But let's face it, even though Madrid and Barcelona lost last year, they also got a bit worse, Barcelona lost Messi and few others I think, and Madrid lost Ramos as the most important and their defense hasn't been proper, apparent from the 3 goals scored on them as well.

So long story short they both lost AND got worse, it wouldn't be a shock if ATM wins another season, I am not saying that is what will happen, it is football and we never know what will happen, hell they could get 3-4 injury all at the same time, not like it never happened to a team in football before, but they also have a good chance that is the important part.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 23, 2021, 05:52:59 PM
the latest talks over Mbappe mouve according to the Spanish network, "Defenza Central", Real Madrid still hoping that Paris will open the door to negotiations on Mbappe's departure before August 31.
The Spanish network indicated that Saint-Germain wants a lot for him for the conditions to agree to Mbappe's departure this summer.
It explained that Paris would request 150 million euros, in addition to two players from Real Madrid, one of whom would be Ferland Mendy or Casemiro.
Devenza Central said that at the present time, Real Madrid would not agree to the departure of Mendy or Casemiro.
I think the deal for 150 million + casemiro + mendy is not bad because of the players but because of the amount. I feel like if it was like 50 million + casemiro + mendy then Madrid would have accepted that in a second, which means that it is not about the players, but the fact that they will pay that much AND give two players.

I guess anything more than 100 million is a bad deal for them, they are going to get him next season anyway, why pay this much money to get him one season early? They probably already talked to Mbappe and they know if he wants to play for Madrid or not, and with all the talks about how him wanting to leave for Madrid even we know that he wants to go there. Which is why I honestly think that we are talking about some rudimentary thing here, why would real pay 150 million even without two more players, when they can wait for 1 more season.
2310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bullish At The Moment on: August 23, 2021, 09:18:41 AM
Well, as you can see, it was pretty obvious that we are in the bullish status even at $30k still consider as bullish level. maybe we have to think it now that we are not dropping anymore below $10k as we have before. It was time to forget those prices as if the current momentum keeps ongoing, there is only a slim chance to have in the bear market again. Or, we have to consider $30k, and below is the new bear price.
There is no way even among my worst nightmares that I can imagine bitcoin dropping below $10k ever again. A few months ago when the price got dropped to half, I was still confident that overall the price won't go below $20k and it never went below that mark. I have a similar feeling that we might end up seeing bitcoin cross or at least touch the 100k mark within this year.

But hey don't take my advice too seriously because we all know, even the whales cannot accurately predict the movement and I am not even a fish in that regard.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 22, 2021, 07:00:24 PM
Greg Popovich is know to experiment different line up just like last year. So I think this season it will continue that way and we might see different players filling up positions like in the center.

Jakob Poeltl is now the starting center, but they also added Jock Landale so we might see some switch along the season.

Patty Mills is already gone, so Murray really need to step up his game as the starting point guard now. And then they have the options of Bryn Forbes to play as back up.
Yeah, I agree with you guys that this is definitely experimenting on some stuff and if any coach can get the 100% out of any player that is definitely Greg Poppovich and we are going to see this team overachieve once again, people are expecting them to finish barely over 30 wins, and I am guessing that 37-38 wins will be possible with this team, which is weird because if you put this exact same team into like wolves or bulls or whatever they would be expected to tank and win like 20 games, but here we are talking about "will they break 50% or not" and I know it is a big push to assume they could get 40 wins or so, but I think it is also not impossible for them just because of Pop (probably will get like 30-35 wins like expected though).

However having this much room for growth does give me a lot of hope for our future, that is the main thing about this roster. The future looks so bright for them.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 22, 2021, 06:25:18 PM
PSG is already going at 3 for 3 and that is not an easy task to handle, starting with 3 wins is always a sure fire way to show the world that you mean business, Mbappe is not going to put all year and hope to get on another team, everyone talked about how he wanted to leave to go to Madrid and that could still be very well true who knows but that doesn't change the fact that dude plays very well even though he wants to be on another team.

I do not know 100% guaranteed if he wants to leave or not, but at least we all know (at least for now) that he is not going to play with 99%, he is putting 100% on all games and that is the thing that matters the most, if you can get the maximum out of Mbappe for all season you are going to be successful, that kid is something special, probably one of the best we have seen in the world at around that age (maybe except one or two players).
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Wagerr - No limit, non-custodial betting on: August 22, 2021, 04:46:22 PM
It was recently suggested by a community member to showcase Wagerr on here given many of you are likely interested in what we are building.

Below is a high level summary and you can read more on https://docs.wagerr.com/
This thread should belong to the Gambling section because you are essentially providing all the information about it.

By the way, I quickly checked your sportsbook, and I indeed like the odds on display there. Make no mistake guys, I haven't played there yet but the odds are better than most sportsbooks, even passing the likes of bet365 in that regard. I also like the private betting part but request you to probably move it to the gambling section so more players get to know about this.

2314  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 22, 2021, 02:45:52 PM
I prefer the Stake vs Eddie event https://promotions.stake.com/edge-out-eddie/  easier even though many rivals all get coupons if reach multiplier target

How much do you usually get from this promotion? I heard from some users who usually play for it, the amount is usually small (few bucks only). I know it is due to so many players participate because the challenge is not really hard to get. The reward can be big amount if eddie's multiplier is huge i.e 2,000x so it is hard to get and there will be less players can get it.
It all depends on what multiplier Eddie manages to hit.

Small Multiplier means more players will achieve the goal and hence small piece of the cake for everyone.

Huge multiplier, I guess he hit something big on jammin jars, means that lesser people will share the prize pool and hence a few people enjoy the entire cake.

Personally, I would suggest it's not worth chasing those multipliers. It's more worth if you play a particular slot and see Eddie's bet on the same game, give it a try.
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 22, 2021, 09:48:48 AM
Now streamers have time till 17th August to remove any such contents from their videos.
This is a step in the right direction. With what has happened to them in Slovakia, it is just the most sensible thing to do if they want to keep staying in business. Those gambling streamers who make a lot of money off of referrals, will sure develop other ways they can channel those referral links after ban.
I don't think much will change. As a player at stake, I see they are continuing to stream as they did before. I am not sure just banning referral links is a huge thing because gambling streams are going on as usual. Maybe they can hammer the streamers who were faking their balance and wins.

Maybe it's time for someone from the crypto community to build a streaming platform fully focussed on crypto streamers and I believe it would be a huge success given the lack of one.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: August 22, 2021, 07:19:34 AM
It's possible in small groups and for some streamers but it would be hard for casinos to adopt it this early because Axie Infinity still has a lot to launch in the coming days. They've just started and still trying to deal with the improvements that they need to accommodate lots of players. I believe that gambling on it would be possible if that would launch their complete land in the future.
I was so anxious to try the game but when I started to learn about the game, I learned that we need a minimum of 3 Axie to even play the game. I thought like let's buy them but the cost for each Axie is hundreds of dollars and more which is beyond a free-to-play player like me lol.

I am not sure how exactly we can gamble on the game because they have their own marketplace to sell game items and it already works on the blockchain so not sure how exactly we can bet on it. Maybe because I haven't played the game yet, I am missing something about the game itself which can be bet on.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 21, 2021, 09:31:02 PM
My favorite NBA player, Spurs will be a bit weird this year. Not that they will suck, it is the Spurs and we all know they will be mediocre even at the worst cases, last season was probably the worst year they had in the last 25 years or so. However the biggest salary in that team is 15.2 million with Dejounte Murray.

How many teams are out there with max salary at 15 million? I believe nearly every single team have their highest paid player at higher level, aside from that they also have a very good amount of cap space for the future as well if they want to, very short contracts with small amounts so it is easy to get out of them whenever they want to.

So, this season is a bit weird because I am not sure if they are trying to do something with the current core? Like Murray - White - Walker - Keldon - Poeltl is a damn good starting five if you ask me with the new additions of the past 2 seasons rookies and few other veterans that team looks fine, OR are they just trying to make a cap space to get some free agent stars in the following seasons? Not like we manage that easily, but that cap space wiggle room is certainly available for that if they can achieve it.
2318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: August 21, 2021, 08:38:22 PM
I can only handle 3 or 4 and I'll just stop trading for a few weeks before I resume again. Most of the trades I do and positions that I take are meant for the long-term, and I do this in order to avoid losing too much money by doing impulsive decisions based on others' analyses or my own emotions. Luckily I have never experienced such a streak, as I learned to never sell at a loss and just hold the coins that I have even if it means seeing red for a few weeks straight. Right now, I'm just buying and holding, and it's way easier than to force myself to trade directly.
Yeah, taking a break certainly helps if you aren't getting desired results from trading.

I usually trade multiple coins and it's hard to say if I ever had a losing streak or consecutive losses because I face loss in some trades but bounce back nicely in other coins.

If you are only sticking to trading a single coin at a time, it's quite easy to count your streak from the trades history and determine.
2319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things to know before trading. on: August 21, 2021, 01:06:44 PM
1. Find a strategy that works for you: If you are dedicated and forced to put in the effort, you will undoubtedly find a strategy that works for you. There are a variety of strategies available for you to try out.

2. Risk management: You must work on your risk/reward ratio, know how much you must invest in a coin, and only invest what you can afford to lose. If you are trading futures, always use a low laverage and don't forget to use a stop loss.

3. You must give yourself time: Because cryptocurrency requires patience and dedication, you should not rush to make money at the same time This is impossible since if you buy a coin now, it may take weeks or months for it to pump, so don't expect to make money quickly with cryptocurrencies. Give yourself time to investigate and plan. Because trading is a long-term endeavor, you must devote sufficient time to learning.

4. Dedication and commitment: If you truly want to be a good trader, you must be able to devote all of your time to it. Since you are making money from it I believe it really worth giving all your time.
Only four? I believe that we must need at least 100 such principles we need to learn and practice before start risking in crypto trading. Because, market volatility requires high precious approach to get sustaining profitable experiences.

Still, I agree one new trader does not require all the high level things at once but they must need to be open to learn anything new and required. Continuous learning is more vital thing is crypto space. We need to be proactive to analyse each and every step of trading so that we could handle market pressure more efferently toward profit making.
2320  Economy / Economics / Re: Central bank digital currency will improve the use cases and value of Bitcoin on: August 21, 2021, 11:59:54 AM
CBDC may also be an opportunity for Bitcoin to help increase scalability and liquidity, it will make Bitcoin more priceless.
Like many people have explained here already, I am also confident about people for using CBDC right now must be the late adopter of bitcoin one day or other. We could expect them to be adopting bitcoin once they are realizing the difficulties of having centralized money against bitcoins. This must be one simple reason why I am always in favor about that all government cryptocurrencies are indirect promotion for adopting bitcoins.

If you go for studying history, only versatile things are sustaining along with human race and all others are getting outdated over the time by not coping up against the requirements of ever-changing demands of human race. This way, CBDC will get outdated very soon and people will adopt something which is ensuring their privacy and profits (which must be bitcoins as of now Wink).
