Why not have all that built into the wallet?

It is all built into the wallet. Which is why you can, you know, do it with the wallet... !

last chance to cash out your darkcoin and come over to monero Grin
Sorry, but I prefer a coin that isn't fundamentally flawed.

So great to hear that you will be joining us then!

No but serious go ahead what is this fundamental flaw.

Well for a start it seems to attract people too stupid to find the correct thread to talk about it in. Take you clonecoin prattle elsewhere please.

Well. She def. needs the D.
Maybe instead of showing her V she shows her D. The D is a separate entity existing in a very small breed of crypto. It simply overwrites the V.

Well, she already has the D.
So disappearing the V to show more D is not fair to the people who want to see the V.
We must have BOTH the D and the V, or else something went wrong.

Damn, I might have to abandon development of ShitCoin and implement CameltoeCoin (CTO) instead. It will have anonymous distributed VagSend via FannyNodes.

On which ports would one be mining such coin? Front or rear?

DP obviously.

afaik there will be no enforcement

its all done in one step with RC4 and thats what bothers me a little. if anything goes wrong with RC4, enforcement will be delayed even past RC4 date...
Aaaaaha didn't know that. Good to know that Wink
That makes me think....

maybe i am wrong, but thats the latest i heard

lets see if some "staff" answers this

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc4-development-and-path-going-forward.1604/

and https://darkcointalk.org/threads/status-update-7-1-2014.1675/

Evan is a perfectionist. Getting it right is better than getting it quick and half-arsed.

Stop and think for a moment about Evan's goal - anonymous ecash for the whole planet. This is a huge undertaking, and for those that stick it out, the rewards will also be huge. Every time so far, Evan has shown that he simply doesn't care about 'the market' in terms of current valuation. Which is exactly why I'm still buying. Wink

Do you think our so called rivals have a hope in hell of changing the world? Some of them can't even throw a simple GUI together, after months.

RC4 will be done when it's done. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not going to be harassing the devs in any way, just encouraging them as best I can. And I'm certainly not worried about whatever 'valuation' the clueless ADD rabble put on Darkcoin in the meantime.

Thanks all . Just bad luck then story of my life lol

Thanks for checking

If it makes you feel any better, one of my MNs has only been elected twice since payments began, and on both occasions wasn't paid. It'll even out with time...  Smiley

How will they control the number of masternodes if there becomes too many?
Guessing it will be first in first serve but don't know how that could be regulated.
Double MN reward to 40%.

But wouldn't raising reward increase node count? Smiley

 Grin

You see where this is going?
To the moon.

40% of coins that were mined by miners ?
who would mine then the coin ? when almost 1/2 of your work is just taken away ?

Is  rewarding master nodes, and taking money from the miners the way to go ?

Not going to happen don't worry.
2309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | Fork for Masternode Payment on: July 04, 2014, 11:12:53 AM
Yup people will come back with their profits as soon as dark starts gathering momentum upward again. Stable and creeping back up is fine for now. Traders will trade. We are still rather cheap now IMO.. but RC4 will be exciting times. It's like knowing that you are going to have a surprise birthday party but not knowing the day.

Be Ready Smiley

We know the date ! Its july 14th !

Wat!?YIS!! Where's the official announcement?
Terzo is a fuckwit, ignore him.

I wouldn't raise the reward.. I think much more and miners will revolt.

I agree. I mine and run nodes, 80/20 is a good split. And everyone bitching about '500 MNs isn't decentralised!' should dwell for a moment on pools vs p2pool and shift their rigs to p2pool. In fact I would be VERY happy to see some kind of incentive to increase p2pool adoption beyond the obvious one that it makes the currency more resilient and is in everyone's interest anyway.

And the number of possible masternodes is limited to total minted coins/1000, so ~4300 theoretical max MNs about now. (Assuming the 1000DRK requirement remains the same) - I think we'll settle at about a thousand, which in terms of ROI is still bloody fantastic by most investment standards.

chaeplin, what does 'innmlist' mean?

eg, here I 'lose' twice to the same address:
07/03 12:37:54   95838 [1][2 lltcrabbitcom   innmlist:Xv6R6WDaMS2mkVvsXgSoUXBHBFz6rnZNYE   1.004880   XesEmikyNWTAQVQRpoeJREJjXFBdwM2EUy
07/03 06:22:55   95698 [1][2] coinminepl innmlist:Xv6R6WDaMS2mkVvsXgSoUXBHBFz6rnZNYE   1.000000   XesEmikyNWTAQVQRpoeJREJjXFBdwM2EUy

...and here I 'win' twice from the same address:
06/29 18:47:49   93783 [1][2] wafflepool   innmlist XwrwEqGFLC4ysLYgYQta8SCFMS9HSQn4ce   1.000000   XeUS1gdad1CTE2HRQMYd59dD7uQ5gwt8Xr
06/28 22:02:36   93311 [1][2] ltcrabbitcom innmlist:XwrwEqGFLC4ysLYgYQta8SCFMS9HSQn4ce   1.000200   XeUS1gdad1CTE2HRQMYd59dD7uQ5gwt8Xr

Payee of getblocktemplate can be different per node.

My code search tx[1]vout for payee like this.
1) compare tx[1]vout  with previous recorded getblocktemplate result +3) : hit : got equlto, fail next.
2) compare tx[1]vout  with current Masternode pubkey list +3) : hit : got innmlist, fail next.
3) compare tx[1]vout[value] : >= totalvalue / 10, < totalvalue / 3 : hit got not_detected. next (time outed node can be a payee)
4)  tx[1]vout == 1 : got tx_0_vout_1 / not paid

So innmlist means == diffrent payee with result of getblocktemplate(can be different), but payee is in Masternodelist.

OK thanks, so I am not doing anything wrong I hope. Just seemed odd that it was the same 'other' address twice.

Hmmm, Have you changed your address ?

I will change everything. Address 0 + ip + masternodeprivkey, if i saw inconsistency.

Only changed masternodeprivkeys for all MNs about 12hrs after payments began. Since then have got:
X...8iPe xx.xx.147.18 - 4DRK
X...fTZw xx.xx.116.211 - 5DRK
X...2EUy xx.xx.0.172  - 0DRK
X...n4ce xx.xx.12.7 - 12DRK

...and more that were not paid due to un-updated pools, just X...2EUy only elected twice but went to X...ZYNE both times. On the other hand X...n4ce gained 2 payments from X...t8Xr.   Undecided

Depends on how old his kids are I guess.  If I could pay off my house right now and have nothing left over, I could probably send my future kids to college with what I'd save in mortgage payments for the next 18 or 20 years.

Our kids will be rich when we're dead. Until then they can learn the value of hard work, and we sleep with guard crocodiles.  Grin

So much panic again. So many ignorant people who can't see further ahead than 1 week.

I don't care about the current price of DRK, I don't care about dev updates, I don't care about what the competition is doing. And this comes from someone who is all-in in DRK and quit his job because of DRK's success.

Remember everyone, this is a long term project. The road is bumpy, but let's focus on the destination, not how we get there.

+1, with the caveat that I might care what the competition was doing if they were actually doing anything...

Explain pls how ...im an DRK holder, just want to see the + and the -  of it .

You really need me to explain to you how using public wifi in an airport is pretty much the opposite of private or anonymous?

Fuck the price, we are doing a revolution here, and I want to be part of it  Wink

That was basically the bottom line for me as well.

I signed up to misbehave. What other people think DRK is worth at any given moment in time is largely irrelevant  to me.  Grin

Really, people should stop whining and let the devs carry on building something wonderful.

Seriously  I hope all you sellers get run over by a dump truck. Bunch of weak fucking pussies selling because the crowd says sell. Eat shit and die fucking cunts. Fuck off and never come  back.

And fuck bitcoin and all the mainstream pushovers who love it.

Mate this is just an opportunity to buy more on the cheap, don't sweat it. Why do you think the price is being manipulated down, eh?

All these coins are based on 20-30 year old research anyway and they all have their weaknesses.

When the guvthugs put a gun to your head, the cryptography employed doesn't really matter. Wink

Privacy != security. Worth bearing the bigger picture in mind now and again.
