এই চার ভাইয়ের কাছে আমার একটি ছোট্ট জিজ্ঞাসা আছে। দীর্ঘদিন ধরে মনের ভিতর একটা প্ল্যান এঁকে রেখেছি কিন্তু সেটা প্রকাশ করিনি আজ সেটা আপনাদের কাছে প্রকাশ করছি। আমার বিবাহিত জীবনে একটি মাত্র কন্যা সন্তান রয়েছে বয়স দুই বছর হবে । অনেকেই সন্তানের জন্য অনেক কিছু করে কিন্তু আমি আপাতত আমার সন্তানের জন্য তেমন কিছুই করছি না। তবে এখন থেকে সংকল্প নিচ্ছি আমার সন্তানের জন্য ভবিষ্যতের জন্য কিছু রেখে যাব সেজন্য আমি সিগনেচার ক্যাম্পেইন থেকে যে পরিমাণ ডলার পাব তার অর্ধেক আমি ভবিষ্যতের জন্য সঞ্চয় করব। আমি সচরাচর বাইনান্স এক্সচেঞ্জ ওয়ালেটে আমার যাবতীয় ডলার সঞ্চয় করে রাখি। কিন্তু ইদানিং Centralised এক্সচেঞ্জ এর প্রতি মানুষের বিশ্বাস উঠে যাচ্ছে। আমি আর বাইনান্সি এক্সচেঞ্জে আমার ডলার জমা রাখতে চাচ্ছি না। আপনাদের কাছে আমার জিজ্ঞাসা হার্ডওয়ার ওয়ালেট ছাড়াও এমন কোন সফটওয়্যার ওয়ালেট আছে যেখানে আমার ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি ্ জমা রাখতে পারব। আমি এর আগে এই বিষয় নিয়ে পোস্ট করেছিলাম @shasan ভাই আমাকে কয়েকটি ওয়ালেটের কথা বলেছিল কিন্তু আমার এই মুহূর্তে সেগুলো স্মরণে নাই। তাই যদি আপনারা কষ্ট করে আবার ঐ সমস্ত ওয়ালেটের কথা আরেকবার বলতেন তাহলে আমার জন্য অনেক উপকার হত।
ভাই আমার আগের পোস্ট টা পড়েছেন কি না জানি না। আমি ঠিক একই চিন্তা থেকে কিছু সঞ্চয় করার প্ল্যান করেছি। আমি প্রতি মাসে ২৫০০ টাকার একটা ডিপিএস জমাচ্ছিলাম। কিন্তু ভেবে দেখলাম যে পরিমান জিনিসপত্র এর দাম বেড়ে চলেছে, ১০ বছর যদি আমি ডাবল টাকাও পাই, সেই সময় এই টাকা দিয়ে আমি কিছু করতে পারবো না। তবে আগামী ১০ বছর পর বিট কয়েন অনেক দূরে যাবে (আশা করা যায়)। আপনার কয়েন জমানোর জন্য সেন্ট্রালাইজড এক্সচেঞ্জ বা ওয়ালেট কখনোই উপযুক্ত না। আপনি কি ডিভাইস ব্যাবহার করেন জানি না। তবে আপনি ইলেক্ট্রাম ব্যাবহার করতে পারেন। এটা কম্পিউটার এবং এন্ড্রয়েডের জন্য এভেইলেবল আছে। তাছাড়া বিটকয়েন কোর আছে যেটা ওয়ালেট হিসেবেও ব্যাবহার করতে পারেন। আমি আপাতত বিটকয়েন কোর, ইলেক্ট্রাম এবং মাল্টি কারেন্সির জন্য Atmoic ওয়ালেট ব্যাবহার করছি। এমন কোনো ওয়ালেট ব্যাবহার করবেন না, যেটা আপনাকে আপনার Seed Phrase বা প্রাইভেট কি দিবে না। Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins. আগামীকাল টাইম লকড ট্রাঞ্জেকশন নিয়ে একটা পোস্ট লেখবো। সময় পাইলে একটু দেখবেন। |

হঠাৎ করেই মাথায় একটা চিন্তা আসলো। কেমন হয় যদি আমি বিটকয়েন এমন একটা ওয়ালেটে লক করে রাখতে পারি একটা টাইম লিমিট দিয়ে?
কারণ এমন অনেকবার হয়েছে আমি বিটকয়েন হোল্ড করতে চেয়েছি, কিন্তু পরে আবার ধৈর্য্য ধরতে না পেরে সেটা দিয়ে গেম্বলিং করে ফেলেছি অথবা টাকার দরকার হলে বিক্রি করে দিয়েছি। আমি বিশ্বাস করি লং রান এ বিটকয়েন অনেক গেইন করবে। কিন্তু বার বার হোল্ড করার চিন্তা মাথায় আসলেও আদতে হোল্ড করা সম্ভব হয়ে ওঠে না। তো যেই ভাবা সেই কাজ। ইন্টারনেটে সার্চ করলাম এরকম কোনো মেথড আছে কি না। আর জেনে গেলাম আসলেই বিটকয়েন ট্রানজেক্শন টাইম দিয়ে লক করে রাখা যায়। আপাতত আমি 0.001 বিটকয়েন লক করেছি ৪৮ ঘন্টা টাইম দিয়ে। আমি এটা ৪৮ ঘন্টা পর যদি রিডিম করে সাকসেস হই। এই ব্যাপারে আমাদের লোকাল থ্রেড এ বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করবো।
মাসে মাসে ২০০০ টাকা ডিপিএস ব্যাংক এ জমা রাখার চাইতে টাইম লক দিয়ে বিটকয়েন ওয়ালেটে বিটকয়েন রাখা ভালো। আগামী ১০ বছরে বিটকয়েন অনেক এগিয়ে যাবে। কিন্তু আপনি যে টাকা ব্যাংক এ ডিপিএস হিসাবে জমা রাখছেন, তা ১০ বছরে ডাবল হলেও, Inflation এর সাথে পাল্লা দিতে পারবে না।
এই ব্যাপারে কি কেউ জানতে আগ্রহী?

The other thing I would suggest would be to test all this out before you set up your main timelocked address. Create a key pair and set up a timelocked address with a timelock in the near future, say a week or so. Send a small amount of coins to this address, check that you cannot spend from it, wait until the timelock has passed, and then check that you can recover the coins. You don't want to be in a situation in 5 years' time where you find you've spent years sending coins to an address you cannot redeem!
Hi Leo. I think I got it. I created a Standard Electrum wallet and followed the tutorial. It seems like I have done everything I nedeed. I also tried to redeem it, and I am getting an error for now (because it's locked). The coins should be unlocked in the next couple of hours. I am excited about it. This is the screen I am getting now;  I tried searching on the forum to see if anyone had tried it. All I am getting is someone named Get-Paid.com tried this a couple of years ago and faced too many problems unlocking it. They had issues with coinb.in doesn't accept segWit Address. But, for me. It's accepted my segWit address. I will update you once I am done. I am running a Full Node. But, Not 24/7. I have to synchronize a little bit to be up to date.
Not sure which one will be better to try. Electrum or Bitcoin Core?

If you set it too far in the future, plan as to what happens / who has access if you are not around.
Yeah, I know not a happy thought but something you do have to consider.

I plan to accumulate Bitcoin for five to eight years as I believe this is something I can consider a Gem. We are facing Inflation, and I survived because I had some foreign currency. I do a remote job and still, get a salary from abroad. Before the inflation, it was like 1:2. Now it's 1:3. So I am getting more fiat when I exchange them. This time I didn't get affected by inflation too much. But who knows? The other country could face higher inflation than us, and we can get f**ed up. Bitcoin will touch at least 500K in the next eight years. So, Not for too long. I am in my 30's. Expecting to be around for at least a couple of years. If I die before that, that's bad luck.
I downloaded an Electrum wallet from Electrum.org for windows. It's installed fine. When I tried to create a wallet, it stuck in the last step where I have to accept the TOS and I can't click on Accept button. There is no ToS to accept when creating a standard Electrum wallet. Are you trying to create a two-factor authentication wallet by mistake? By Mistake? Yes, I was trying to create a two-factor authentication wallet willingly because I thought it would be more secure. Keep in mind that years in the future if you have been sending small amounts every weeks for years the fees could be a large amount. 50 +/- inputs a year trying to go out in a few TX are going to cost you especially if you are selling because the price has gone up. A bit of a clogged mempool and...ouch. You see that now and then now when people are moving a lot of small inputs that they accumulated over the years. -Dave Yeah. That's true. I have to control myself a little more. Do you know if coinb.in will be able to generate a segwit address or not? Segwit transactions are the cheapest I believe. I've skimmed through the guide you linked and I can't see any major issues. It will create an address which you can send as many transaction as you like to, and none of the coins sent to that address can be redeemed until after the date or block height that you have chosen. The most important parts are to ensure you are downloading the legitimate versions of Electrum and Coinbin (i.e. download them from Github and verify their signatures), do the whole process on an offline (ideally permanently airgapped) device to protect your private keys, and to save the redeem script that you generate. All you are using Electrum for here is generating a keypair to use in the Coinbin script. You could use any good piece of software, such as Bitcoin Core, to generate a keypair if you prefer. I would also suggest that something like $50 a month is probably better than $10 a week, otherwise you will end up spending a large amount on transaction fees when you need to consolidate all your small inputs. Oh, Thank you  Leo? Oe Leo? A bit puzzled. Let me say buddy instead. Sending multiple times in a locked wallet is my main priority as I will try to accumulate and hold. Yeah, it will be good if I spend less on fees. Once again, I can spend those coins on gambling casinos during the month I accumulate. That's why I need a locked wallet. You may understand how stupid I am. I downloaded an Electrum wallet from Electrum.org for windows. It's installed fine. When I tried to create a wallet, it stuck in the last step where I have to accept the TOS and I can't click on Accept button. There are two other buttons at the top right corner. One is the close button and another is the Question mark. When I click on the Question mark, it load for a few sec pops up an error saying (ah, I forgot the message. I will edit once I will be on my desktop). Note that the Terms and Condition page is blank. |

Sorry for replying in an old thread. I was looking for something like this (Not the same, but similar). I used to use Trust wallet and some centralized exchanges as a wallet. I always tried to hold Bitcoin. But, I ended up spending them on gambling websites or selling them to buy goods. So, I thought I would send a small amount of Bitcoin weekly (say $10/week). I won't spend them in the next five or eight years. The problem is, Whenever I need money, I sell my Bitcoins and regret it later. So, to get rid of it. I was thinking, Is it possible to create such a wallet where I won't have access to spend the money until a specific date? I searched for it, and I found How To Create Time-locked Transactions with Bitcoin. The author claims it's explained version of TryNinja's time-lock explanation on Bitcointalk, and he referred to this thread. I had never used Electrum before. I downloaded Electrum and installed it. But, Even after reading the explained version. I am confused as hell. I am still wondering if it meets my needs. Can I send $10 every week to the locked wallet? Or it's just a one-time transaction? At least I need to figure out the answer to this question for now. I have several questions spinning in my mind. Let's not ask everything at once. I will get more confused. I am sorry but Probably the worst news of the day is Chipmixer Was Seized. ChipMixer was seized by US and German authorities.
1909.4 Bitcoin in 55 Transactions (44.2 Million Euro) with 7 TB Data seized. The most famous Mixer on this forum ended their journey.

Now I hope all that did and many did on Bitcointalk don't get in trouble.
I don't think anyone would be in trouble just because they sold signature space to them. Every service has positive and negative as well. It depends on how you use it. weapons were invented for good. To protect yourself. But, now we using it for bad purposes. Mixers are good for privacy. But, if people use it for money laundering and illegal activities. That's not good. TV Channels and websites owner shouldn't be in jail because they advertised some failed project that ended up bankrupt. |

আমার মতে এটা তাদের কাছে খুব একটা আহামরি বিষয় না।। আবার এটাও হতে পরে যে তারা জন সম্মুখে চোখে ধুলা দাওয়ার জন্য এই কাজ টি করেছে।। হয়তো বা এমন কোনো গভীর এর বিষয় ছিলো যে বিষয় এ ধরা খেলে তারা আরো বেশি সমস্যায় পড়ত ।। এই জন্য তারা হয়তো এই চাল সাজিয়েছে।। কারণ Chipmixer ফোরাম এ একটি অনেক বড় ওয়েবসাইট ।। আমি যদিও chipmixer সম্পর্কে তমন বেশি কিছু জানি না কিন্তু এই chipmixer সম্পর্কে অনেক কিছু শুনেছি।। যেহেতু তারা এত বড় অবস্থান এ অবস্থান করছে তাদের অভ্যন্তরীণ এবং বাইহেরের অনেকে যুক্ত আছে ।। আমার মতে এটা তাদের একমাত্র কোনো ছোট চাল হতে পারে যা হয়তোবা কোনো বড় সমস্যার সমাধার ।।
