2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bottom will drop out of the alt market soon on: June 06, 2016, 08:46:15 AM
At any second between now and August there's going to be a nuclear explosion of alts cratering:

Yep,  bitcoin prices will finally be closer to where it should be at the moment.

The halving I believe in going to make the bitcoin price go even higher. The current price is by no means the highest point bitcoin will reach this year. The best is yet to come, guys. But altcoins may not last long.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: June 06, 2016, 07:58:09 AM
The skill games are the most fun in gambling for me. Like texas holdem, even blackjack which is generally not very skilled but card games seem more fun than clicking buttons on a screen or pulling a level to let a random number generator pick your win or loss.

Definitely. Like although blackjack is mostly chance, it still gives you the chance to revise your strategy in game. And poker is also a lot more skill based than dice. That's one of the reasons I don't like slots, and rather play card games.

I also like to play bustabit, because it offers you the option to quit when you want to.
2303  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com Scam or legit plz on: June 06, 2016, 07:56:24 AM
HashOcean.com Scam or legit plz
 Huh
want answer plz

If a ponzi scheme is paying their investors, it doesn't make them legit. The problem is that whether they are mining or not. And I don't think that they are actually mining, to be honest.

So I would recommend to stay away from that site, until it is proven that it is mining, or it collapses.
2304  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 06, 2016, 07:55:04 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

I think that bitcoin is probably the best bet for your wealth. Not only is it a good technology to have around in this messed up world right now, it always serves well as a decentralized currency, as opposed to fiat currencies.

I would consider bitcoin as an investment, so I would say that it's better to invest than to save.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: June 06, 2016, 07:53:45 AM
Betting on sport = gambling?
Please write your mind.

Well, it is true that betting on sports are actually a lot less chance based than playing a dice game. However, it doesn't mean that it's completely skill based and ranking based. Players fail time to time.

So yes, I think betting on sports is gambling.
2306  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: June 06, 2016, 07:51:30 AM
Shaping up as big year

Cheesy

2017 could definitely prove to be a very big year for the bitcoin community, since the bitcoin halving has passed and there is probably going to be a bigger adoption wave coming in 2017.

But 2016 is not that bad of a year either. We have already seen a price rise, which is always good Smiley
2307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before? on: June 05, 2016, 05:47:09 AM
How, and how much did you manage to lose?

I've lost a ton of bitcoins on gambling, around 3 BTC in total. But now I don't gamble anymore. I only go for the promotions that sites give out which are pretty much guarantee wins.

I've also lost a private key that contained around 0.05 BTC in it... It was a paper wallet, probably threw it out as trash some day, lol.
2308  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 05, 2016, 04:39:51 AM
I want ask anyone if i give you 10 Btc what will you do. because i want investment but i have no any good idea to invest it (except gambling) but i don't like dambling. So i want ask you viewS.

You could gamble it if you want, just make sure that you're betting on a provably fair website. You don't want to have won but you bet on the wrong site so you lose...

But 10 BTC is a lot of money, so I would rather hold it till the price increases in the future than to do risky things with it such as gambling. Perhaps your risk appetite is different to mine.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your biggest loss gambling? on: June 05, 2016, 04:38:05 AM
I lost 0.25 BTC by betting on a cricket team and I lost the complete amount. My friend had assured me that the team would win and it had won the past 5 matches back-to-back. I feel these matches are all fixed and they make the team with the max bets to lose.

I promised myself never to bet again with my hard-earned money.

My biggest loss is not really my biggest loss in terms of BTC gambled, but rather the pain of the loss. I lost around 2 BTC once gambling on dice. I needed that money very urgently but I was stupid enough to bet anyway.

I swear there's tons more of examples of my kind, and even worse off than me perhaps.

I think you loss your bet in IPL cricket match that too final match right. RCB won the match back to back and end final match it lost. There are lot of business happened in that day in gambling. I too lost my bet yes now a days all sport is fixing only but we can not do anything in casino base game we need luck now it started here also we have luck we will win or else loss only.

Yeah, the level of match fixing going on today is enormous, even if they are not found out by the officials.

That's why I prefer to bet on provably fair casinos, because at least they give me a fair chance to winning, rather than being fixed and all.
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: June 05, 2016, 04:35:50 AM
This could potentially impose some problems to bitcoin, but I think there is nothing to worry about at this stage right now. There is no guarantee that China will form a giant monopoly of hashpower.

And to my understanding things can be revised within bitcoin to make things better. Like P2Pools.
2311  Economy / Exchanges / Re: With Coinbase (apparently) going down, where do you go to sell your BTC? on: June 05, 2016, 04:30:41 AM
I seriously have doubts for the legitimacy of the claims that people make on reddit.... Like I use bitcoin on coinbase and it still works fine for me. I don't know where they even base their claims from.

But let's assume they are true claims. I will use Localbitcoins instead of coinbase. I mean coinbase is pretty convenient, but localbitcoins is too Cheesy
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 05, 2016, 04:21:36 AM
Gambling definitely ruined my life for a little while, when I was just really really obsessed with gambling, instead of doing the work that I should be completing, or launch a project that I believe in.

But gambling has also taught me a lesson: you can only get nothing from nothing.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: June 05, 2016, 04:20:02 AM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?

With all chance games like dice and blackjack, or roulette, no. There is no strategy that works at all. If someone claims to have a strategy that is guaranteed to work, then they're lying.

But with arbitrage betting, it's possible. Although the chances of you finding an opportunity is slim and could be ignored completely. TLDR: No safe methods here.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: June 05, 2016, 04:18:37 AM
Investing in a staring casino site or a new casino site do pose a lot of risk for your money, first of it is that you don't know whether the site is legit and not a scam, if it is just a scam then your money will all be lost without any trace to what happened about it.

Another risk is that if the site is legit, then it does have a lot of competing casino sites out there which are already established for almost a year and still had a lot of ads and users advertising it.

There are more to say, but what I just want to say is that it is still your decision if you want to take the risk, cause we don't know maybe it is the start of your great profit for $3000.

Not really. If you're investing in a legit site, you obviously know it's legit Tongue Get my logic? No. OK. Basically if you know that the site is around for a long time and they previously had the ability to steal more than your investment, than you should go for it.

For example, betking.io or justdice. The amount that you earn is usually around 1% of the gaming volume(house edge).
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: June 05, 2016, 04:16:50 AM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

Agreed. Gambling is a huge problem today and since it's easier to gamble with bitcoin, the amount of people that is addicted to gambling has risen dramatically. You'd have to go to a physical casino a few years back, but now you just deposit and gamble. No hassles.

But gambling is supposed to be fun, so you are actually better off just enjoying it than focusing too much on making profit.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gambling espers. on: June 05, 2016, 04:15:04 AM
Just a short and quick question.

Where can I gamble espers ? Where are the best sites ?

You can gamble espers on yobit, since the coin is listed there. All coins listed on Yobit can be gambled with their dice, although they don't actually show you the provably fair hashes(they actually don't claim to be provably fair either).

I suggest you gamble with the btc you exchange for espers instead, since yobit's house edge is 2% and higher than all the other casinos. Not worth it.
2317  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Find the coin★ | multiplayer | gambling game on: June 05, 2016, 04:13:30 AM
I like the concept of the new game and the implementation of P2P gaming in this game instead of just gambling against a traditional house.

However, my question is that will this project be a web based gambling game, or rather an Android based gambling game? Do we have to install the app to play?
2318  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 05, 2016, 03:33:56 AM
I like how the system is completely decentralized and no one can control the monetary supply as a whole. It eliminates the risk of a single organization irresponsibly spewing out more money into existence.

I also like the community. The community is excellent and a lot more supportive than the wall street people. Everyone is happy to help Cheesy
2319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: June 05, 2016, 03:32:17 AM
Simply buying any amount of BTC when you started this thread would have worked out very nicely indeed!

Yeah definitely, buying bitcoin is one of the best investments I have ever made in my life. It is safe and you're pretty much guaranteed to have a profit in the future if you hold it securely.

You could also invest in P2P lending, although the risk you take is pretty large.
2320  Economy / Economics / Re: Best website to give out loans? Btcjam or ? on: June 05, 2016, 03:31:11 AM
I saw btcjam but i assume there must be more.

WHich website is best and most secure and which one do you guys use?

I want to enter one of them but suely i wont enter if loads of newbies post its great Wink

I want to hear some real voices + reasons of the choose

Of course BTCJam is one of the choices. IMO it's probably the best of all because so many people use it and you'll probably have a higher chance to get a loan or to send out a loan than all the other sites.

But there's also Loanbase, and bitbond.com. Both of them also have a large customer base. You can experiment with them all and pick for yourself which one is most suitable for you.
