I think I'll make an altcoin called altcoin just for confusions sake.

Should I sell all of my dollars until this security flaw is fixed?
No worries. You're covered by insurance. You know, unlike Bitcoin. Insurance that's covered by a hackable currency? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Reminds of usagi.

Sure, bitcoins can be used for "dirty deeds done dirt cheap," but when they come out of the virtual laundry, they smell April fresh and free of taint. They may still have a lascivious history Just like a scammer wrapping himself in a fresh new account. Aaaah, so clean.

What do you know about this? Is it a reproduction? Made out of marble?
Do you know what marble looks like? You should educate yourself on what marble looks like. It's gypsum. They're mass produced, you can get them in any music store and they go for about 3 bucks per centimeter of height, so OPs price is pretty much reasonable depending on what a BTC is worth right now.

Interesting that Bartlett is in that postcode so I guess it's Steve Morell/Sven Tilburg or is it Russell doing a bit of moonlighting from the office?
BtcGlobal is quite a jump up from Snappy Computers lol.
It's Morell AND Bennet. http://btcglobal.net/info/team

anything older than 58xx and you are wasting your time and money
Why is it a waste of money if you already have the card ? In the real world, electricity costs money.

Hypothetical or not, it implies you're looking into the purchase or distribution of narcotics on these forums, which is greatly frowned upon. We try to avoid anything obviously illegal here (see the 'Securities' section for gray-area legal stuff ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ). Anyway..can't we just point the OP to SR and call it a day? I thought SR was dead? I thought so too, but I checked it out the other day out of curiosity. Interestingly enough, it seems they've grown quite a bit. Huh, strange. Now I wonder what all the hullabalooo about the ddos-attacks was about.

BTC Global North America, LLC. 38134 Memphis, TN United States How many businesses use just a postcode as a business address. Interesting that Bartlett is in that postcode so I guess it's Steve Morell/Sven Tilburg or is it Russell doing a bit of moonlighting from the office? Oh, did they delete the street adress by now? Yeah, I can imagine everyone looking up your hut in the desert would be kinda creepy. Maybe that's what the so called high security safe is. The shack in the desert.

I only see 3 reputation threads on page 1 of Off-Topic (ctrl-f 'repu'), doesn't seem too bad.
I see thirteen. It's really getting out of hand. On the other hand I put anyone who makes such a thread directly into the likely-proto-scammer folder so there's that.

@greyhawk
Man.
Hitler and Napoleon as Geek/Nerd examples ? I Mean, WTF - seriously ? What the hell is wrong with you ? By "geek" or "nerd" i didn't mean people who are bullied at school and later take their anger on the world. I mean enthusiasts who are fascinated by new technology and spend a lot of time developing & upgrading it.
Examples: Nikola Tesla, Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman, Steve Wozniak, Larry Page, Gavin Andresen, John Carmack, "Valve guys", Oculus Rift guys, young Bill Gates (somewhat). That kind of geeks.
"A nerd (adjective: nerdy) is a person, typically described as being overly intellectual, obsessive, or socially impaired. They may spend inordinate amounts of time on unpopular, obscure, or non-mainstream activities, which are generally either highly technical or relating to topics of fiction or fantasy, to the exclusion of more mainstream activities" I was looking for the definition so that i could side with you, but after reading it a chill went up my spine... holy shit guys, Hitler was DEFINITELY a nerd! haha I think the today's definition of "nerd" is no longer in sync with the dictionary definition. When people today think of "nerd", they visualise an IT, mathematics, physics or other science specialist. No, no, they don't. That's a re-definition nerds use to make themselves look not as weird in their own eyes. And yes, Hitler was a nerd, the "computer + anime dude" equivalent back then was painting, which was his real obsession. He just wanted to bbe a painter.

Nerds grow up to be old stodgey white men with little compassion for new technology, young people or liberal society. They already rule the world. True story.
Source ? History. Look at this nerd boy. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.kepler-gymnasium.de%2Fimages%2F6%2F67%2FHitler-jung.jpg&t=663&c=uaIFjq433aWBsw) Who's he? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wermodandwermod.com%2Fnewsitems%2FAdolf%2520Hitler%2520-%2520Speaking.jpg&t=663&c=AZms-LY_3Xzkzg) Or this one: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F4.bp.blogspot.com%2F-ipSczRZw1NI%2FTeaPXOJQdeI%2FAAAAAAAAAe8%2FFOkFy3LoySk%2Fs1600%2FArnold-Schwarzenegger-childhood.jpg&t=663&c=7-993g4L58c02g) That's him: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2Fthumb%2F0%2F0c%2FSchwarzeneggerJan2010.jpg%2F421px-SchwarzeneggerJan2010.jpg&t=663&c=ZHAHQh9xY7gf1g) And of course there's always him: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmosaikum.org%2Fimages%2Fbill_gates_sexy.jpg&t=663&c=ANSEYuEDOUp1MA) But I think you know who that is.

Here's something to think about. If you rule the world and have everyone shot that bullied you in school, are you still a nerd? Or have YOU become the bully instead?

Yeah, with music it's way worse. Pretty much every piece in popular music of the last 30 years is derivative of Pachelbels Canon in D.
