The Alaska franchise will release their commemorative shirts on which the word "ALASKA" had all the last names of their players, coaching staff, utility, management according to this article: All the fine details in Alaska's stylish commemorative shirts

It's also stated that they will pay a tribute to every single person who had been part of its 35 seasons in the pro league through a commemorative shirt to be given away during its final games in the Governors' Cup.

Since they used the word "final gameS" they are really eager to win their Do-Or-Die game on Wednesday. Just connecting the lines. Cheesy
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 13, 2022, 09:55:26 PM
I don't think there will be no money in this fight, there will be enough for both, biggest paycheck ever for anyone of them. The hype is still there specially if Spence bet Ugas in his fight. Crawford has been calling him for quite sometime now, it's up to Spence to response back to make this fight happen. We don't want to see him on the downturn of their career before facing each other. It should be in their primes, in the next 2 years.

There's no problem on how much money the fight will generate but the concern is, no one is willing to a 50-50 split. Both camps have a big reason not to make it even and that's not making sense to them. It's really hard to negotiate on that part especially if both boxers have a big name.

Unless one of them will make way for a less split, then that's a good step for the fight to push through. The only time I remember seeing Crawford likely to accept a much less split is when his name becomes a candidate as an opponent to Manny Pacquiao (correct me if I'm wrong here). He accepts that because never in his career he got a chance to have a big fight.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 13, 2022, 09:42:37 PM
Fight Butler and then knock him out, simply formula to get the attention of Inoue and his camp.
Or maybe the other way around, what if Inoue would chicken out after seeing how Casimero knock out Butler. We know that he is undefeated and working with the Top Rank promotion, would Bob willing to risk his cash cow against a known good counter puncher that has the ability to KO an opponent?

I think Naoya Inoue is not like that. Knowing him he will just fight against anyone who assigned to him as long as the "price is right".

The concern will be probably to his promoter but knowing Arum, he is not the type of person who will risk without an assurance that he will get it by high chance. He will not reached his status as the biggest and most influential promoter if he didn't know how to play the game on that industry.

If others looked at Casimero as a good counter puncher, the same goes for Naoya Inoue. He won't be a champion holding several titles at the same time if he didn't know how to deal against an opponent with a good counter punch.

Sorry for off-topic Mr. Paul Butler.
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 13, 2022, 09:34:54 PM
But my intensity is about gambling in the metaverse. Did you think about it? What are your thoughts on gambling in the metaverse world, where you and a friend are playing at a table, but it's online, and you're sitting next to each other, but you're from different countries? Isn't it sound cool? Well, it felt cool to me.

In that particular example you have given, the only special thing is the new technology applies on the game. Still, game rules won't changed. It's just that the way we played those games will now have a different experience. Maybe it can attract more users to join the party since it's something new.

No impact if we directly relate it to gambling since it won't even change our probability to win. If the new technology will apply to E-sports as my example, it will just give players and viewers a different view on that game but on how we apply gambling here is still the same; choose a winner - place a bet - wait for the result.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 13, 2022, 09:18:10 PM
NLEX and Magnolia might clean this game and advance to the next round.

About Magnolia, it's so hard and difficult to imagine that they will lose 2 straight games against Phoenix. I honestly even think who's from Phoenix will be able to stop, slow down and defend the unstoppable Mike Harris once goes wild. And not just that, its not only the Magnolia import which posed a threat but the locals are also playing at their best.

About NLEX, although they are on the upper hand, I think Alaska will try their fully best to win the match. The big reason why they will become like that and feel pumped? It's because losing to NLEX will be the last time we will see Alaska playing on the league. There are even fans that willing to watch live on the venue to witnessed Alaska last game or if lucky to upset NLEX, they will move forward.
2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 13, 2022, 08:54:27 PM
However, I will still tell you not to underestimate Bivol. Also how will you bet on Canelo? Will he win by a knockout? Through a decision? How would we know this? Bivol is still undefeated in his weight division. The pressure is on Canelo and I am afraid this fight might not be so easy for him.

Underestimating Bivol where Canelo is the visitor on his weight class is somehow inappropriate to think. If there are people who will underestimate Bivol, I think those people who only knows Canelo in name as in terms if popularity, we can assume that he is much ahead to Bivol.

I see Canelo has the good chance to win the match against Bivol but I'm not closing the book that it's a sure win. I mean, why should I think of that where in the first place, Bivol has also a good boxing record.

Moving forward, like to see a close bout action between these two. That's what we always like to see instead of playing defense more.
2307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 13, 2022, 08:39:18 PM
This is just the 2nd time this season Steph Curry ended up in a single digit in points. The last time was against the Miami Heat on January 3.
1/3/2022 - 9 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds.
3/13/2022 - 8 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds - Today.
But he didn't shoot much so that's okay. 3/7 FG 2/4 3pt
He didn't force it and just became the playmaker or used his threat to give his teammates an open space. That's unselfish of him and the Warriors are lucky he would sacrifice his stats for the win.

Yes and that was really unusual to see him like that. On that 9 points production last January 3, he attempted 17 shots on which only 3 was made. Different on that tonight's performance where even he only made 8 points, he's not attempting too much shot. Maybe he feels his stroke is not good that night but still he tried his best. Instead of forcing his way to find his rhythm, he provide a support instead on his teammates.

And it's also worth noting that the Warriors always in a lead the whole game making it for Curry to just play relax*** and smoothly so maybe that's one of the reason he not force himself on doing lots of field goal attempts than he used to be.
2308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 12, 2022, 03:09:03 PM
but as we see the Lakers are struggling, for sure the best decision is to trade him, or Davis, but it's unlikely to happen.

LeBron James is the one carrying the Lakers and the best decision is to trade him?

Lakers are nothing for several seasons after Kobe's retirement, even prior to his retirement. They rebuild with pure young cores but didn't work out for years. When LeBron comes, that's the only time Lakers become a playoffs contender again (except on the 1st season that they missed the playoffs as LeBron sits out for long because of injury). The following year, they got the NBA bubble Champion.

At his age, still putting up 50 points. Not good in general since the Lakers just showing that all of them are inconsistent.

One thing is for sure to me, trading LeBron won't save the current Lakers' a**.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 12, 2022, 02:58:34 PM
Too much speculation is not good, let's wait for the result of this fight, and let's see how Crawford and Spence would react to a possible big fight. AFAIK, Crawford is already willing to fight Spence, so if Spence would say no, people will lose respect for him as a champion.

for reference, ; https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/terence-crawford-calls-for-errol-spence-fight/206552

I think the main concern relies on the purse split why Spence seems to avoid Crawford. A 50-50 split is not making sense for Spence.

The reason? Between him and Crawford, the former seems the one that will make the possible fight profitable. He is a much-considered King of PPV compared to Crawford and that was proven already.

Maybe a 60-40 should be fine but I don't know if Crawford will like that idea.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 12, 2022, 02:37:25 PM
I don't see any odds yet, maybe when the fight gets closer, for sure my favorite sports bookies are going to list it. But I have a feeling that Casimero will be the favorite, for obvious reason.

Back when the fight is not yet cancelled, the odds for this fight is:

Paul Butler +800
John Riel Casimero -1500

Casimero is a clear heavy favorite and I think even with that health problem issue, that gap of odds won't be changed.

You can take that as a reference on the possible future odds on this fight.

Thanks, as what as I expected, Casimero will still be the heavy favorite no matter if there is a health concern about him or the sexual cases he had in the Philippines. Bookmakers are looking past on the strength of their records and clearly Casimero as champion is highly regarded as the big favorite to regain his belt against Butler. But even if he is the heavy favorite, their is a slim chance for an upset and hopefully Butler is not the one that will derail his plans to fight Inoue in the future.

Just usual to expect that Casimero is the Favorite since, in the first place, he is the Champion and Paul Butler is a challenger regardless of the former suffering a viral condition. His pending lawsuit surely has nothing to do with how bookies are providing odds.

About the chance of Butler winning, yes, we can't just assume that he is nothing and an easy opponent for Casimer (well that's what I'm thinking honestly if we are talking about 100% Casimero lol). Let's also give credit to Butler for being the number 1 challenger on the list.

Winning against Casimero will be his turning point in his career. However, that was a tough task he needs to pass.
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin question and answer better option to earn money in crypto on: March 12, 2022, 02:25:24 PM
::)Altcoins are always in the news, should we change our coin according to crypto trends

If you know how to ride the trend, it's up to you. However, can you handle the risks? Can you manage properly that coin while in progress? I won't consider it's a wrong move but you should understand what you are dealing with. Try to understand deeply what's the meaning being "HYPE" and "FOMO".

If you will just ride the craze just because you saw others get a good outcome from doing it, it's a suicide investment for you. It doesn't mean you both will have a different good result at the end.

Try to think outside the box or much better if you will totally remove the box.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 12, 2022, 02:02:05 PM
Tomorrow we have Phoenix vs Northport, the winner will qualify in the quarter-finals but on a twice-to-beat disadvantage.

I'm still waiting for the odds to be available, but don't forget that the game will start at 6:30 PM tomorrow.
My initial thoughts, I will be betting on the under as it might be a defensive game, and going on the underdog.

Hoping that NP will be the underdog.

Odds are available at Stake: https://stake.com/sports/basketball/philippines/pba-governors-cup/42546760-phoenix-fuel-masters-batang-pier

Moneyline:
Phoenix @ 1.93
NorthPorth @ 1.78

Based on the odds given on Moneyline, bookies consider the game as close to being equal. The previous performance of NorthPort against the TNT overtime win a few days ago might play a role on these provided odds.

Pre-betting on handicap is also a tough choice as the line is so close. Maybe I will wait again on a Live Betting.
2313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 12, 2022, 01:47:22 PM
I received this information from Stake via email. It turns out that his previous cooperation with the casino gave a good conversion and they decided to continue it further. I wonder in what form the giveaway will take place, I would like to participate )

Yes, it's on the Stake newsletter. Not really surprising to me since it should be obvious from the start that there's a partnership happening on the table. Since Drake is quite popular, it will give a boost to the already popular Stake platform. Not just that, it's the crypto-gambling that will be highlighted in this partnership.

Good to see that kind of involvement between a personality and a crypto-gambling platform. Not to shill because I'm wearing their sig (just in case there's another user again that will react again lol) but the partnership is another thing we can look at, that Stake is really serious in building and developing a much steady and reputable platform.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Will NFT be the reason for a massive boost in gambling in the near future? on: March 12, 2022, 01:27:25 PM
I guess almost knows what NFT stand for as "non-fungible tokens" but can't say for sure to others if they knew that NFT almost covers every sector including gambling. We know how gambling is taking a great leap year by year but do you think that NFT might be a primary reason in the future for a massive boost in the gambling industry?

There might be a bit of added popularity but only a certain category like for example on the ESports side. Generally, I don't see NFT-related stuff will boost crypto-gambling in general.

Gambling does have a variety of types and not all can be associated directly with the touch of NFT.

There are hypes but that's it. It can't affect the whole of gambling in general.
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 10, 2022, 11:59:19 PM
I guess the car crash is really eye opener for him, or maybe it just really hardened him up because if he can beat that car crash and come back in boxing and win against one of the toughest fighter in that division (Shawn Porter), then he has the confidence that he can beat everyone else even Manny although he just to beat another injury (eye). Now he is going to face Ugas. And we see him as the favorite again, so he will do everything to continue his undefeated record and then look for the biggest fight in the division next.

Damn his body recovery. Almost beaten badly by the car crash and was almost on the verge of death but now, looks like there's no sign that he suffers a big accident. In some cases, these people will end up just resting but look at Spence, still fighting on his usual.

But honestly, that was good that Spence showed like that since no turning back for his opponent.

We, as fans, want to see both giving their 100% on this fight. It's a big title match at stake here.
2316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 10, 2022, 11:58:11 PM

It's been a while since we saw a close competition between 2 Centers for Top 1 on the KIA MVP Ladder.

Usually, SG's and SF's are always on the ladder. The game really changed now where Big Guys, aside from being dominant in the paint, can now shoot 3s and has a good shooting stroke at the perimeter areas. They are even both have good passing skills and dribbling lol.

Just imagine the threat imposed on these types of big guys, especially in terms of defending them. They have to be guarded well defensively, not just inside but also outside.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 10, 2022, 11:30:29 PM

Can't believe what happen to my Favorite Dallas Mavericks. They destroyed my parlay together with the loss of the Miami Heat to the Phoenix Suns. I can truly understand the outcome between Heat and Suns but I can't move on to that recent Mavericks loss against NYK. After beating much ahead teams on their previous games, they will end up beaten badly. It's fine to lose but there's no competition.

Moving on to another bet.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 10, 2022, 11:18:03 PM

Even how strict the parents are or put pressure on their child to limit a specific activity, there's no way someone can avoid encountering any related stuff involving gambling. That's already part of society and gambling is everywhere. At an age, roughly 16-year old isn't closely followed now by their parents on their every day's doing. With just a conversation with their friends, there's a chance that gambling might be discussed. Or maybe during their school. And with technology today, everything is on the internet already.

Instead of blaming game, if parents saw their child is acting strangely, have a good talk with them. That's being responsible.

Twitch gamblers are great example, governments don't want to ban gambling streams for obvious reasons but addicted gamblers get burnt in this trap almost new victim every day. Hopefully, no more suicide news on media related to gambling addiction.

That doesn't make sense. Who is the one that needs to adjust? Them or us?

Got information as per "multiple sources" that Blackwater Bossing players will get a bonus of at least P6,000 each depending on their respective individual contracts for ending their 29-game losing streak,

Hard earned cash isn't it? Cheesy

But this news below is a sure one regardless if they win or lose on that game against Magnolia:

At some point, I used to give a quick review for those new sites here but unfortunately, I can't access the site. Same error with @stomachgrowls.

I also tried to access the site via Google Search but still fail. Using VPN should not be an option. Can someone post here the list of restricted countries although it seems not usual to see our country be included at this?
