I noticed that a few months ago that getblocktemplate was merged into the litecoin code.
What is the reason for the change to the API where it now requires an argument? With other coin daemons, getblocktemplate can be run without an argument.
This seemingly gratuitous change breaks stratum, among other things. Just curious about what the reasoning is here.

I'm planning to add BQC to my pool sometime this week. I'll post here when it's ready.

Do you guys prefer the dark banner or the light banner on the site?
I think I like the light one better.
Also, estimates are working now (see top left hand table). But please remember they are only estimates of what your payout would be if a block was found RIGHT NOW. If you stop mining, and a block isn't found for another 10,000 shares, you might not get anything. It's just the nature of how PPLNS works.

You can download the old drivers from AMD's site.

Yes, I had to restore the balance table from this morning's backup and repay all of the blocks since then, and subtract any outgoing transactions since then. Balances should be correct now. A few people who withdrew since then got some bonus micro-trc since I'm too lazy to manually update all the sub-0.1 TRC transactions.
Frontend is up now.

The estimate and unconfirmed stats aren't showing.
Also, I seemed to have lost 6~7 TRC for some reason (from the total).
There were 3 blocks that got triple paid yesterday morning so I had to subtract them a few hours later. Well, something just messed up. My TRC is now at 0! Auto-payout was off, so where did my coins go? Big fuckup due to a fat finger this morning when I was fixing a user's balance.. Sorry about this, pool frontend and autopayments are currently down while I fix.

I have my funds in usd on my bitfloor account, I an undergoing the verification process, but that will probably take a week. Bitfloor have yet to respond to any of my emails that I sent them, hopefully I can get my money back, this was my first time dealing with them.
I worked support a few years ago. You might think through what would happen if everyone sends email s to them, how much delay does that cause. Roman responded to 2 of my emails, he's definitely answering them.

So the consensus is that investing in xrp is a bad idea - then don't. It has nothing to do with using ripple - you just need 300xrp to make hundreds of thousands of transactions in whatever currency you choose, including bitcoin. You just need to trust the gateway you use. xrp is a bad investment by design. you only need a trivial amount of xrp to use ripple. You don't need to invest in xrp to use ripple.
This doesn't change the fact that Ripple is nothing more than a vehicle to make the founders millions of dollars. How? xrp are clearly worthless, so how will they become millionaires? XRP are worthless, yet the stated purpose of them is as an anti-spam measure. For them to work as an anti-spam measure, by definition, they must have value. So which is it? Are they worthless or are they an anti-spam measure? Give me your ripple address and I'll send 300 for free - enough for a lifetime of use. It's a waste of my time but worth it to make a point. If you have enough XRP that you can give away 300 just to prove a point, seems like you would stand to make quite a bit if XRP succeeds.

Frontend is down right now while I work on some bugs on the account details page. Pools are both up, however.

We just found our first two BTE blocks! (within 3 minutes of each other)
Congrats slike and xelipprod!

Currently only showing BTE stats, could you show TRC stats too?

Code has been updated and BTE support has been officially started.

Pool's going down for a few hours for code update. When we return, I hope to have the multi-coin code integrated. Cross your fingers!

In the near ASIC era, when BTC GPU mining wouldn't be profitable, and most GPU miners will start mining LTC (that's my opinion), do you think that the LTC price would rise or fall?
It depends on what the utility of Litecoin is by then. If it remains as an (almost) purely speculative coin, the value could go either way, depending on how many people are 'hoarding' and how many are trading immediately for bitcoin. That said, Mt. Gox building a LTC exchange will itself drastically increase the utility of LTC as it will make inter-exchange arbitrage much easier.
