It looks like coronavirus hasn't affected this league too much yet and the matches are going on without a problem. But this scenario might change in the near future which I don't hope so. It is really good to see Schalke fighting for promoting to the Bundesliga again even though they were the most terrible team of the Bundesliga last season. At least, they are not one of the worst teams in the 2. Bundesliga. I can't still say that their performance is too impressive but they are still doing a nice job.

Waiting for the virus to pass seems pointless, I support managers that want the league to continue inside close doors and a controlled environment, it is better they try to finish off the season rather than wait for the virus that is mutating into new variants. I know it's dangerous, but i think to avoid jam packed schedule of matches to play by clubs and worst case stopping the season, it is best to try finish off quickly. While Liverpool were proving me right about getting a win by at least two-goal difference, Chelsea really disappointed me. I know that Chelsea have been getting this kind of results lately. But they could really have won this actually. Especially the absence of Werner and Lukaku made things more difficult for them to score. Poor Hungary, what they're doing in League A?  . Italy, Germany and England in same group looks serious. Group 1 have favorite France, other teams is similar level. Group 2 looks ballanced, maybe excpet Czech Republic. Group 4 is most ballanced. League B Group 1 no obvious favorite, only Armenia looks weak. Group 2 - Russia is very lucky about draw. Real Madrid have somehow managed to find form in La Liga and moved to the knockout stages of the Champions League whereas for example Barcelona have disintegrated in La Liga sitting in 8th position and 18 points behind leaders and favourites Real Madrid. Barcelona have been knocked out of the Champions League at the group for the first time in over 20 years, now they have to play in the Europa League but Real Madrid have turned themselves in to a footballing force this season. Over two matches between PSG and Real Madrid, I think Real Madrid will win and go on to get to the semi-finals at the least. If that happens then PSG manager Pochettino could be sacked before the end of the season and a potential move to Manchester United could be on the cards for the beginning of next season. PSG are going to have one of the toughest matchups and I don't have any doubt about it. People shouldn't undervalue Real Madrid in this matchup. If they look at Real Madrid's current condition closely, they can see that they are as good as PSG now. Maybe Real Madrid's dominance level in the La Liga is not bigger than PSG's in the Ligue 1. But the reason why is that La Liga is a more quality league.

Agree here with you in this case because not even we have in cricket, we have many examples in other sports as well because I was reading in few blogs there are few coaches those never play these games but now doing great skills and having outstanding results as it need some good and different level mind and here in subcontinent have nothing like this in coaches mostly are just copying western points and giving their duties.
There are very few names of coaches that have outstanding international cricket record. I never saw Ravi Shastari taking portfolio of Coach at any level, don't know what makes BCCI to give him this job. BCCI normally appoints foreigner coach and same holds true for PCB. Lets see how far Rahual Dravi goes. Recently few cricketers are now starting coaching which is good for this game as they have very bright ideas and skills with this all surely cricket is going to be better as we require some innovative things for having some different results and interesting games for fans as well.
Also there are few international cricketers in umpiring as well Kumar Dharmasena an SL all-rounder and Paul Reiffel an Aus fast bowler. @galambo I feel the approach of Dravid is already in place, because if you see he’s already changed the Indian captain from Kohli to Rohit in ODI format (indirectly as I’m sure his input was taken, but can’t find a article to confirm it). I think Olympic has some requirements for every game that it must be played in certain number of continents and countries. Cricket is no way near to be in Olympics and it will never be thanks to collective effort of BCCI and ICC. There are only 10 proper cricket teams right now and rest of countries have teams just for fun like we saw gulf team recently Oman.
From what I heard, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) was interested in including cricket as one of the disciplines. If number of countries is the sole concern, then sports such as Baseball and Softball will never be included. It was the ICC which rejected the proposal from the IOC. They put forward insane and unrealistic conditions for the inclusion and even then the IOC wanted to negotiate with them. At at this point, the ICC president (N Srinivasan) explicitly stated that they are not interested in Olympic inclusion. @Sithara007 I don’t understand why every few days we discuss cricket and Olympics again and again, because there’s been no new development that we know about. I've read some news like all of Mercedes' objections were rejected by FIA and they aren't going to object to the decision anymore. And it is claimed that Lewis Hamilton also didn't want Mercedes to do that. I'm pretty sure that Lewis Hamilton is very dissappointed and angry at FIA's decisions but there is nothing to do from now on. This won't change Verstappen's winning the title.
@Kusman it’s end of the line for Mercedes because to take it to court they need to convince F1 appointed panels to give a verdict against F1, and that’s not going to happen. However they yet have time to file that last appeal, but I think even they know it that’s it going to be rejected so doesn’t make any sense now to file it. |

F1 came down to last ever lap, it was one of those races where we will talk about for another 20+ years I am sure of it. I am upset that I wagered on Hamilton to win, but I am super happy that Hamilton lost because I really wanted to see a different champion. I just wish that it happened in some other manner, it would have been a lot better if they just raced regularly and then the result could be definitely be same result and I would still be happy with it.
Let's see what is going to happen with the Mercedes because I am 100% sure that the next week will be all about this and we are going to definitely get a ton of drama out of this race, that latifi crash and the latest decision will be talked about all day 24/7 non-stop.
@perfect999 this is a tricky situation for Stake because on paper Max has won, but if Mercedes goes ahead and appeal the decision and in the end it gets ruled in their favour then Hamilton is the winner.
