23081  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MSM Claims Russia is Targeting the West with a Telepathic Monster [FAKE NEWS] on: December 22, 2016, 05:03:04 PM
These are just paid news and propaganda from the Western arms manufacturers. They need to convince the general public that a Russian invasion is imminent, so that they could secure funds from the defense ministry.
23082  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Supervolcano Explosion is imminent in Europe. on: December 22, 2016, 05:01:41 PM
The last recorded eruption of Campi Flegrei was almost 500 years ago. There is no new data available to suggest that another eruption is imminent. Also Campi Flegrei eruption is not going to be as powerful as the St Helens eruption.
23083  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If nuclear war broke out where's the safest place on Earth? on: December 22, 2016, 04:38:13 PM
Tristan de Cunha perhaps? Pretty isolated so you wouldn't have to worry about survivors flooding in. Of course it's quite tiny and when the nuclear winter sets in you might have a harder problem getting to crops grow. It might still be far from fallout though, if that can be called a bonus.

Tristan de Cunha  is pretty much isolated. But it is a very small island, and most of it is a natural reserve where human habitation is not allowed. Even the remainder of the island is not suitable for agriculture.
23084  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fuck your vaccines on: December 22, 2016, 04:37:14 PM
I would call them the 'pharmaceutical company executive' and 'useful idiots' (e.g., criptix, sithara007, etc.)

I am not on the payroll of any pharmaceutical company. I just want normal human beings to use modern medicine, so that they live longer and healthier. On the other hand, your behavior was very disappointing.
23085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 21, 2016, 12:30:36 PM
Buying drugs with bitcoin is really possible and that is the negative side of bitcoin.

I don't think that it can be considered as a negative side of Bitcoin. Physical cash is also used for purchasing drugs. But no one claims that doing so exposes the negative side of fiat.
23086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 21, 2016, 12:23:16 PM
Even if we are using bitcoin, the local exchange that we are using is paying taxes in the government and the way we cash our bitcoin out to fiat, we are paying tax each time we use the remittance centers and banks too...  Smiley

I could agree with the second part, but the first part is not 100% true. Some of the exchanges do pay taxes, but they pay taxes to the country where they are based in. They are not paying taxes to those nations where their users are based.
23087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm leaving Bitcoin on: December 21, 2016, 12:11:12 PM
Checked the original post, and found that the topic was created in 2012. This guy made a huge mistake by quitting the Bitcoin sector. Had he opted to stay put, then he might have got a 10,000% ROI on his coin holdings.

Edit: Just found out that the OP was involved in Coinjar. So despite this thread, he didn't quit the Bitcoin sector.
23088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your pain and problems in the bitcoin world on: December 21, 2016, 12:08:46 PM
Transaction time is the main problem for me. Sometimes, I have to wait for up to 2 hours to convert my Bitcoins to fiat in Localbitcoins. And logging in to the Blockchain.info wallet can be quite frustrating sometimes. There are instances when the email code never arrives.
23089  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Man-made global warming = Govt take care me for life on: December 21, 2016, 11:37:28 AM
On this topic and the government and scientists are only trying to make money and distract people from more important issues. It would be better left from the consumption of hydrocarbons. But it is money and nobody wants that.

It is a very delicate topic. If you want to take steps to combat the global warming, then I am afraid that it is going to cost us a lot of money. For example, the electricity may get up to 200% more expensive, if we phase out thermal power-plants in favor of solar plants.
23090  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: December 21, 2016, 11:33:45 AM
Guys as we all know is a dangerous weapon and this what the government has control power over like in my country every has the right to punches gun for as long you are above the age of 18 but in my own opinion guns should be punches by men only who are above 45 years of age only cause these class of age can use it in a reasonable way

What sort of insane logic is this? I agree banning the ownership of guns by minors. But minors, mean anyone under the age of 18. Anyone above that age should have the right of gun ownership.
In many countries, for example in America the age of majority is 21 years. As for weapons it is different, too. The gun in many countries it is forbidden to have and not because it's a terrible weapon, but because it can be worn discreetly.

21 years is OK with me. But I am definitely not going to support rising the age to 45 years. It just lacks any logic. How are you going to argue that those under 45 years does not have any right to defend themselves?
23091  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Save the planet or not on: December 21, 2016, 11:31:20 AM
You don't have to save the earth, the earth's temperature is now higher than tens of degrees

Don't exaggerate. The temperatures have increased by around one degree Celsius (with a higher increase occurring in the polar regions). But even this small change is causing a lot of damage to the environment.
23092  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to survive in dictatorship? on: December 21, 2016, 11:29:06 AM
Under Putin, life in Russia became worse. The oligarchs are no exception. Their assets fell significantly. Purchasing power of the population is very much reduced, which makes unprofitable any production on the domestic market of Russia. And it reduces income and leads to higher unemployment.

Under Putin, life in Russia became worse only for the oligarchs. For everyone else, it improved. When he took power, the average wages were like $50 per month. Now it stands at $600 per month.
23093  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Still Love Democracy? on: December 21, 2016, 11:27:01 AM
Democracy means freedom. I will only fully believe in democracy if the real freedom is acheved like freedom from poverty, freedom from criminality, freedom from graft and corruption, freedom from war and other much needed freedoms.

Democracy is a failed ideology. It encourages ethnic polarization and uncontrolled population growth. More population means more votes, and more votes mean more power. In third world countries, people indulge in uncontrolled population explosion, so that they could capture power through democracy.
Not all third countries are experiencing a population explosion. In RUSSIA, for example no such problem. However, there is also no democracy. I don't really like democracy, but people don't come up with anything better.

In Russia, there is neither population growth, nor population decline. Compare that to the shit hole called Ukraine (does not deserve to be called a third world country, should be a fourth world nation). The Ukrainian population is declining by some 200,000 per year.
23094  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: December 21, 2016, 11:24:53 AM
I'm not sure about God, but a local priest is a different story, especially if you are a young, pretty boy.

I have always wondered why the majority of the sexual abuse occurring in the catholic churches and seminaries are of the homosexual nature. Why the majority of the catholic priests are homosexual?
23095  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is telekinesis possible? on: December 21, 2016, 11:21:32 AM
Some people in the world have this ability, and it is not possible to learn it. I read that one female did something like this many years ago, but telekinesis as such is not possible.

Do you have any proof for this? And why it is not possible to learn these ability? If people are indeed having this ability, then they might have learnt it from someone else, right?
23096  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Berlin: at least nine dead after truck crashes into Christmas market on: December 21, 2016, 11:18:07 AM
Europe will most likely use these attacks as scapegoats to reduce personal freedom for Europeans rather than address the refugee issue.

Already internet users have been jailed in Germany, for posting in Facebook against the rapefugees. A comedian was arrested for having the courage to read out a poem mocking Angela Merkel's gigolo (Erdogan).
23097  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to survive in dictatorship? on: December 21, 2016, 11:15:48 AM
As for life under Putin, any Russian will tell you that they became worse than under Yeltsin.

Only people who are going to have such an opinion are the oligarchs. For everyone else, life improved quite a bit under Putin. Yeltsin was the worst. There can't be any worse alternative to him.
23098  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: December 21, 2016, 11:14:08 AM
You still remember the Tatar-Mongol yoke.

The Mongols were originally shamanists, and not Muslims. Some of the descendants of these Mongols adopted Islam, starting from the 14th century. Many of the Mongol groups are still non-Muslim (perhaps a majority of them).
23099  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Hospital in Aleppo Bombed by US-sponsored "Moderate" Opposition on: December 20, 2016, 06:16:04 PM
Russia is a weak country and in addition to nuclear weapons, she had nothing else to blackmail the world.

Look who is talking. Russia is a super-power, while your country (Ukraine) is a third world shithole which is even worse than Somalia and South Sudan. Russia is the world's second largest exporter of weapons. It is the country with the largest number of nukes in possession, and they have the best ballistic missiles and tanks. Russia can wipe out Ukraine in a matter of few hours.
Your ballistic rocket without Ukraine is a pile of rusty iron. How to fly Russian ballistic missiles, the whole world knows. You already can't launch a single rocket into space. What are you trying to scare us?

Don't make me laugh. Is there a need to scare the Ukrainians? How many rockets have been launched by Ukraine to the space till now?

BTW.... Russian rockets and missiles no longer need the Ukrainian components. Russian companies have started manufacturing the components, which were previously sourced from Ukraine.

Religion of Islam is quite peaceful by itself. Though of course there are militant notes in The Quran and the teachings of his expositors.

If the Quran is full of militant notes, then how can you claim that Islam is a quite peaceful religion? Your statement is self-contradictory. Either their holy book doesn't have such verses... or Islam is not a peaceful religion.
