the official client doesn't crash.. or shouldn't

it may enter a not responding state - you just need to leave it.

force closing the client may corrupt your data

Something that adds to the frustration a lot is the constant crashing of the wallet.
It regularly locks up and takes forever (it could be hours I've stopped looking) to react again.

Especially if you are not using a ssd, it will indicate not responding. But 99% of the time for me it recovers. Rarely I have seen it not recover, and by watching the debug.log, I can tell when this happens.

It is best to synch with a wallet with no transactions. Once synced you can close the client and switch back to the real wallet.

this

this...is why I just hold my coins on poloniex and wait for someone to produce a non-clusterfuck of a wallet

too risky, if the exchange would be hacked again via malicious wallet, your coins would be gone, but  right now their are not worth so much, so not a big loss probably

So what is the innovation here? Leaguecoin made a tipbot approved by Riot. Any interesting stuff for the community or similar to a tipbot? Not that Blizz will approve something like that..

the limit hash is somethin new at least, and blizzard can't sued you for the word "minerals" come on...

No premine. I would like to mine this but not with your pools. Good luck.

you can mine in solo, if the limit hash will really work

unfortunately not

Quote
Solo mining?
In order to avoid potential ASICs and big farms from dominating the coin network there will be no solo mining.

i missed that, this is definitely stupid, i don't like it at all, why limit the hash if you can't solo... pointless

Main page, to the right:

X13 Multipool
AXIS
Port: 2222
B/MH/Day: 0.00505779

ok but then under statistics it say 0.0006, something is wrong
23087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is GPU hobby-mining dead? on: June 10, 2014, 02:35:19 PM
I used www.coinking.io for my x13 multipool and it is still very profitable to me.

It was profitable only on 2014-06-09 with 0.00268 BTC/MH ..
We don't know how it'll be tomorrow

Its 0.00510274 btc/mhs for x13 right now, which is still profitable for me as x13 uses less electricity and the latest sgminer boost the speed by 50%.

where 0.005?

main page www.coinking.io.

you missed a 0? it say 0.0005 not 0.005

i see: 0.00508123 right now

for x13? i can't find it

under statistics, coin statistics

too many invalid, are people using the corrent miners? or chinese are trying to mine this with not coded well fpga lol

Why we see a big whale miner, everyone came to conclusion that fpga or asics? I know someone in Germany with over 300 AMD 280x. And this number in China/Ostasia is even more. They heavily invest in this, it is not like us mining for some bucks and fun. There are true serious business.

i'm talking about the invalid not the nethash, the hashme profit estimate isn't right at all

300 is a bit pretentious, one thing i learned is that you shouldn't compare coin based on supply or block reward

I don't think I did.

I compared both sides of the price equation - supply AND demand.

The thing about doge was that it was all about hype and *potential* adoption. JPC has that but in addition it has a great dual algo system which compliments the Jackpot algo in such a way as to give it a fun, self sustaining economic basis that is quite unique IMO.

Lets see what happens as it gains more widespread love  Wink

that's my point demand is uncomparable, demand is random for every coin

23097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JPC]JackpotCoin, Jackpot 37 million, ~21 BTC! on: June 10, 2014, 10:53:37 AM
Most here are not making money until they decide to sell their bag.

Are you kidding ?

This likely headed for 200-300 Sats at least. It's got far more of a basis for its existence than Doge did while having only 1/25th of the coin supply.

some of them have already sold their stake

300 is a bit pretentious, one thing i learned is that you shouldn't compare coin based on supply or block reward

it's all random, based on whales interest
