23101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 18, 2016, 04:07:24 PM
For now its not a big problem of government about taxes with bitcoin since we are just still fewer user who are using bitcoin it can not be a big issue.. but in the future since bitcoin is developed year by year more adoption are coming i think more people will use bitcoin if they seen there is no taxes in bitcoin to transfer money worldwide or to pay items and products online..

Taxing bitcoin transactions will be very problematic. For example, lets say that there is a 2% tax on profits from trading Bitcoin. I bought one BTC for $740, and sold it a few days later for $750. I pay $0.20 as tax.

Now let's take another situation. I bought BTC for $740, and I was forced to sell it for $730. In this case I suffer a net loss. Will the government reimburse $0.20 in my account?
23102  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS is nothing compared to U.S. cops. on: December 18, 2016, 04:03:59 PM
If both things results in the same thing then i could probably say that there is really no difference at all. Now in this case if they both kill innocent people then this makes sense at all. I am not familiar on the US corps tho.

It is just propaganda. I don't think that the American cops kill innocent people without any reason. And it is not race related, in my opinion. A lot of whites get killed every year as well.
23103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: December 18, 2016, 03:58:46 PM
I don't know if anyone in the current administration has looked into what Switzerland did to reduce heroin addiction. In my own opinion the reasons people get into drugs are peer pressure and lack of ways to resolve personal problems.

The vast majority of the heroin addicts in third world nations are either in their teens, or early twenties. So lack of knowledge about the adverse side-effects from heroin may be one of the main reasons for the addiction, in addition to personal issues.
23104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: December 18, 2016, 03:54:34 PM
I believe a larger percentage of people in a survival situation would kill and eat a person to survive. I personally could never do such a thing, but people can do strange things when they are nearly dead from starvation. The siege of Leningrad is an example of this.

Cannibalism during the seige of Leningrad was very widely documented. Similar incidents occurred during other wartime situations as well, but we don't have much details about them.

You don't know why people dislike it, so would you kill a man/woman/child then chop them up and eat them?

Are you new to this debate? Go back a few pages, and you will understand that we are talking about cannibalism occurring as a last resort to stay alive in case no other form of food is available. For sure, I am not going to kill anyone and chop them because I am hungry.

Where the fuck does it say as a last resort in the OP please quote and bold it in my face and count me as being slapped. Please go back to the OP and stay the fuck on topic you signature spamming bitches, shit I'd eat your brains if you had any. Holy shit.

Hey Titty Bitch, read my post again (if you are able to comprehend English). I never said that OP said so.
23105  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to survive in dictatorship? on: December 18, 2016, 03:48:29 PM
by demonstrating loyalty to your country and leader obviously

Or better you could stay away from politics altogether. This is the safer option, because if another coup happens and the current dictator is replaced by his rival, then you'll be in trouble.
23106  Other / Archival / Re: I'm really leaving the U.S. for a 3rd world country because of politics on: December 18, 2016, 03:46:22 PM
It depends where you live. Avoid settling in Mindanao (or at least the SW parts) that's where most of the Islamist activities are. Luzon is the safest bet for people moving here though there are also plenty of good cities in the Visayas, especially Cebu (they tend to speak English even with other Filipinos).

I'm not sure about jobs though. My mom's cousin is married to an American and they moved back to Guam just this year. Not exactly sure what he does for a living but I heard he's not making enough here. It would be far easier if you just build your own business.

A word of warning to anyone planning to move here. Summer IS HOT. And no, I'm not talking just about Pinoys on the beach. If you plan to move, do it on the cooler months to allow your body to acclimatize. Even OFWs on vacation find the heat oppressive. You wouldn't want a stroke ruining your housewarming.

The Abu Sayyaf and the other Muslim extremists are concentrated in Western Mindanao and the smaller islands nearby. Central Mindanao and Eastern part is safe, although crime rate should be a problem. Also avoid the island of Samar, as it is a hotbed of Maoist insurgency.
23107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat your Mother to stay alive ? on: December 18, 2016, 03:44:06 PM
no no no.Why people making such kind of post/topic?

The OP is a religious loony, who created this BS thread to counter the following topic:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1315922.0

Religious loonies are incapable of rational thinking. They don't understand the difference between eating a dead body as a last resort to survive, and eating someone just because of mental illness.
23108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fuck your vaccines on: December 18, 2016, 03:40:56 PM
People are spreading their lies and religious propaganda here, and here are the results:

https://www.thenews.com.pk/print/166956-Two-new-cases-cripple-hopes-of-polio-free-Pakistan

http://www.nation.co.ke/oped/Opinion/Polio-back-in-Nigeria-despite-having-been-declared-no-more/440808-3467146-jg6th1z/

Religious extremists are prohibiting parents from administering polio vaccination to their children, claiming that doing so will reduce their fertility. And as a result, polio is still around despite vaccines available for the last 100 years.
23109  Economy / Economics / Re: Whither Europe? on: December 17, 2016, 05:53:44 PM
Street crime is on the rise, especially in Germany which has received over one million immigrants and they say that around 100 000 of them will be turn to a some kind of crime. Also they estimated that some 40 000 imigrants has something to do with terrorism and that represent a potential security risk.

Do you really think that these refugees are going to limit their numbers to one million? With Erdogan now threatening to unleash millions of them on Europe, you can soon expect you cities and villages to get swamped by these Afghans and Pakistanis.
23110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: December 17, 2016, 05:45:11 PM
Being a Hindu, I believe in "gods", rather than a single god. In our religion, there are 330 million gods! That is one of the reasons why the Muslims hate Hinduism so much. For them, Hinduism is the religion of the idol-worshipers.
23111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Powerful earthquake strikes Papua New Guinea, tsunami warning issued on: December 17, 2016, 05:43:29 PM
Most of the earthquakes in that region are having very deep epicenters. So despite the high magnitude, the number of casualties is going to be very low. Tsunami is a major concern, though.
23112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's be honest, how many of you here actaully read the whitepaper? on: December 17, 2016, 05:41:48 PM
Many thanks for posting the white paper here for everyone to read. I went through the first few pages, but couldn't understand almost 50% of what was written. For people who don't have much knowledge of statistics and economics, it is tough.
23113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 17, 2016, 05:38:42 PM
Well, it depends if to what certain place you are currently in. If you happens to leave in the first world countries especially in europe or United States then you are probably right but when you are on the other places in which government can't function properly then tax evation is as easy as hell especially if you are a small time earner.

Even in certain third world nations, the government is cracking hard on tax evasion. The recent demonetization drive by the Indian government is a good example. Earlier, these third world nations tolerated tax evasion to a certain degree. That is no longer the case.
23114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 17, 2016, 05:19:48 PM
How will this exactly kill the income tax?  I understand what is being written, however the income tax is still due whether or not it is collected from the door or not.  Not paying it will be considered tax evasion and that is not good.

Even if you do not pay your tax because you were using bitcoin that does not mean anymore that bitcoin could really eliminate tax(Government can surely review your assets especially if you leave in US or UK you are being monitored (just like what happened to coinbase that has a pending case because of not showing its customers records)

Nowadays, tax evasion is getting more and more difficult, for ordinary people. The government surveillance is getting stricter and stronger. Only the oligarchs and the billionaires are stashing their money in tax heavens now.
23115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: December 17, 2016, 05:16:22 PM
Just ask the models, if they care about the origin of US Dollars in payments from the Webcam Site.
All of them care their attention only to tokens, and probably they have no idea about that the site accept Bitcoins.

Well... if you offer them a 20% bonus, if they take the payment in Bitcoins, then I assume that at least some of them may be interested in the crypto-currency. On the other hand, if you want them to choose between $250 in fiat and $250 worth of BTC, then they are not going to prefer the latter option.
23116  Other / Politics & Society / Re: After death on: December 17, 2016, 05:12:10 PM
The life and soul ends with our death. Being a Hindu, my body will be cremated shortly after my death. I don't believe in any afterlife. Once we die, that is going to be the end. Full stop.
23117  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Duterte admits personally killing suspects on: December 17, 2016, 05:09:02 PM
ah, yes, the old "he's the new Hitler" sentance. What about columbia? Is it a prospering country? Every country that is poor in some way, has it's ground taken by drug dealers, because people see no future, can't find work and turn to being a drug dealers.

No, it's a war on drug dealers, that what you said just leads to one being a drug dealer to make money.

In Colombia, most of the arable land is under the control of a few influential families. The vast majority of the people are landless. They have two choices in order to earn a living - engage in the production of cocaine, or join the FARC.
23118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If nuclear war broke out where's the safest place on Earth? on: December 17, 2016, 05:07:07 PM
I don't think that the radiation fallout will reach Antarctica. Also, the ice sheets are some 2,000 meters thick in some places. So establishing a subterranean base in that continent may be the best way to stay alive during the WW3.

I've opened a world map to find a nice play to chill at and Tuvalu(since it's far in the ocean), Chile (surrounded by mountains), Fiji (also a remote island) and yes antarctica. Cheesy Those are  just some of the right away obvious countries that I've found.

I don't think that Chile will be a safe place, as it is a major country in the Latin America. They will be participating in the world war, unlike the small Pacific nations such as Tuvalu. Fiji is also having agreements with the NATO.
23119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: December 17, 2016, 04:06:13 PM
Boss, if you want to spend bitcoin to porn sites, please sell those bitcoins to me, and I will provide you hard cash or bank transfer. You keep on paying to the porn sites via bank transfer while I will enjoy the huge upside potential of bitcoin. Treat bitcoin as an investment which will fecth you much higher return in future, instead of spending it in to porn sites. Take my advice for good!

If everyone treat Bitcoin as an investment asset instead of a currency, then the usage will go down, and the popularity will vanish. And in the end, the exchange rates will crash and Bitcoin will become worthless.
23120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 17, 2016, 04:02:35 PM
Wtf lol. Where do you live that doesn't have sales tax? This is about income tax. The government gets you coming and going. You made $30,000? I'll take 7. Now of that $23,000 you'll pay 13% tax on everything so it's really only worth ~$20,354. No wonder if rich people avoid taxes they get richer. Us poor bastards would save $10,000 a year!!!

The laws are the same for every one, and in most of the countries the tax rates for the rich are greater than those for the poor. Some people manage to pay less taxes, as they prepare their tax returns intelligently.
