2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your thoughts on Havven? on: February 22, 2018, 03:37:38 PM
Hi guys! What's your thoughts on Havven?
It seems like a promising project. I just did kyc and planing to join public sale.
I tried to read the white paper of Havven and it somewhat looks promising but the white paper is not as impressive as it is. I am expecting more details like how much will be the transaction fees because what I see in the white paper is a formula, I guess it would be more appealing if they explained it more in layman's terms or something that is easy to understand.
2322  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen on: February 22, 2018, 12:04:59 PM
I just want to know how much faith do you guys have in bitcoin...

If bitcoin drops bellow $1000, do you think it will still recover someday?
It's a long shot for Bitcoin to drop to $1,000 USD or not even close to it, but with FUD, fake news and manipulators like whales, it might happen, however, Bitcoin right now somewhat established its name and purpose which is one of the important factor for Bitcoin to stay afloat. Some alts make come close to replacing it, but Bitcoin is Bitcoin and Bitcoin is King. I'll buy some more to fill my bags of BTC and ETH if ever it happens.
2323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rate my ALT portfolio on: February 22, 2018, 11:56:18 AM
Hi
Im into crypto for few months and double my investemnt.

However things started to look bearish in last month so i change my portfolio coins.

Please let mw know if i made a good decision and can be looking at some gains in a month or two.

30% LISK
30% WAVES
15% VERGE
12% SIACOIN
12% AMP _SYNERO

What you think ? Are they gonna bullrun anytime soon?

Thanks for reply

Cheers
Among the list of Alts, AMP_SYNERO re-think if you want to keep that alt as I don't think this one have a bright future ahead of it but its still up to you. We all have different preferences and you may have seen something that we don't see or have heard of about AMP_SYNERO. Care to share why 12% of your portfolio was allocated to AMP_SYNERO?
2324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale for win, my own experience on: February 22, 2018, 09:38:30 AM
There's a thread about this martingale strategy and you can read some feedback about how it worked and how it didn't work for them https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=610339.2100 it might have worked for you but it will not work to everyone. You are a gambler and you should know that its a game of chance. I tried it when I was new and curious about the strategy and no, it didn't work for me.
2325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency education in high school on: February 22, 2018, 07:31:06 AM
This high school in New Jersey is already teaching its students about cryptocurrencies.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/bitcoin-education-at-high-schools-and-colleges.html
Too early for them to learn about Cryptos. I guess the best time for them to start learning about Cryptocurrencies is when they are in college. At east when they are in college, they already decided which direction to go, are they going for a Banking and Finance degree or maybe they want to be a lawyer or a surgeon. At least give them time to decide, who knows if hey are not into it, why make it mandatory for high school students.

2327  Economy / Marketplace / Re: "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: February 21, 2018, 08:46:54 AM
Ive met some group of financial adviser, they told me that the best way to aquire bitcoin is through cloud mining, they gave me names of trusted cloud mining providers and as of my research, they are well known and trusted.
Then ive met some people, whos already earning big bucks on bitcoin, they dont recommend cloud mining. They told me that its expensive and risky, but as for my understanding its good way of gaining passive income.
What are the possible reason on thier contradiction?
Whos recommendation should i try and why?
There's only a few cloud mining companies out there that really have their own mining farm, theres a lot of them out there who claims that they are into mining, they have rigs, but if you ask them some photos of their mining farm, they will tell you for security purposes they cannot provide. I have seen cloud mining companies like Cloudminr.io, Scrypt.cc and Hashocean come and disappear with investors money and yet people still believe that theres money in cloud mining. Folks, there are more ways to earn Bitcoin aside from cloud mining. You may try Hashnest by Bitmain but the ROI is too long that you can earn more if you go into buy and selling. Stay away from it.
2328  Economy / Lending / Re: Need up to 10 ETH for 90 days. on: February 20, 2018, 07:02:24 AM
I need up to 10ETH for 90 days.  I have BTC tied into crypto21.net in my investment account and they said they can escrow the funds in your name till its paid back.   Just don't want to miss the rising prices in BTC.  If the loan is not 100% paid back in 90 days, they release the difference to you.

The process that you want is complicated because the 3rd party (escrow) that you want to be included in the transaction is not known in this forum. Even if you hand over the access to your Crypto21 account to a known escrow in this forum, lenders will not accept it as a collateral since account access can be recovered with just a few back and forth email from the site owner. I am not saying nor implying that you will run away but of course people here wants their money to be safe too. Maybe you can offer other collateral aside from this.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 126: Cowboy vs Medeiros Prediction and Info Thread on: February 20, 2018, 05:44:08 AM
^  Didn't watch...  Lol.  Grin

But I'm glad Sage Northcutt won.  I think he has a bright future in MMA.  He's gonna be its future poster boy or something if he doesn't disappoint like Wonderboy Thompson did.  The latter had two shots at the WW title but nuthin'...
I didn't watch, I just wait for the results online. The schedule is different from the usual fight. The event falls on a Monday here in my country and its a workday so I have no choice but to wait for the bloggers out there who posts blow by blow information and also twitter for fight updates. I was rooting for Thiago Alves to win but I guess being out for a few months and having only 1 fight a year affected his performance.
2330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Keep Track of Gains? on: February 20, 2018, 03:13:30 AM
For those of you who often trade your crypto back and forth to Fiat etc to secure your gained profits.

What is your methods to keep track? as in knowing where your high point is to sell out? and knowing your low point to start? and to figure out where you started from during a gain?

thoughtS?

While we are now in high technology age where we can use online spreadsheets to track price of the token or coins that you are following, for me nothing beats manual tracking of your tokens/coins. I mean writing it down on a note book that you can bring anywhere, that way you don't have to worry about losing signal or battery. I have a small planner that I got from Starbucks that I use and I write down the price of those tokens that I follow on a particular time of the day.
2331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can we trust Telegram Signal channel..? on: February 20, 2018, 02:49:05 AM
I admit that I follow those signal channels in Telegram but just to see what tokens or coins have potential to pump. I don't follow their signals. Sometimes they also posts some good stuff like technical analysis from another group and some news that you don't get from Cointelegraph or other sources. However, nowadays its hard to trade because the market maybe bullish and we have seen BTC to break $11,000 USD but there are too many fud and negative news that can bring that price down again to $8,000 USD in an instant.

2333  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁3 NEW COINS★★★22nd BILLION BETS PROMO★★★🎁 on: February 19, 2018, 08:10:43 AM
How long does it take for the verification email to arrive in my mail box. I tried to log-in my Bitsler account and it asked me to check my email, but 30 minutes has passed no email to verify. I am sure that I haven't changed the email connected to my Bitsler. Nothing on my spam folder too.
2334  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitsler Community Telegram Group (unofficial) on: February 18, 2018, 04:11:29 PM
May I know, what is the main intention of this group?
I am waiting for the response on this question as I back read the few posts on this topic, I have not seen the response of the OP. But seriously, I don't see any advantage of creating a telegram account for a dice site, I see a great advantage if its official, but if its unofficial, what is it to gain for the admin of the telegram group since OP or admin of the TG group is not official or anyway connected to the admins or owners of Bitsler.

EDIT:
Guys it's just a small group of player that can talk about whatever. It's nothing to take away from bitsler. I and another player are admins. There is already a bitsler Indonesia group with over 100 active members. I do not think this will affect the site at all.

If this is the answer to MinerHQs question, then the post above is correct, there's already an existing chat group with moderators within the site. There's nothing to gain in joining this TG group.

This is the problem with trading platforms nowadays, they don't know how to take care of their clients. If they value their clients the least that they can do is respond immediately even if they don't have the answer yet to your query. It will not take 5-10 minutes to construct a good email response that will assure clients like you that they are working on it. Good luck and I hope you can still get it back.
2337  Other / Meta / Re: How do I change my username? I want to change to TheButterZoneISACUNT on: February 18, 2018, 02:48:16 PM
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to change your username (unless you have an extremely valid reason, or are a VIP member. If you fall into either or both of those categories, I suggest you message theymos and see what he can do for you). You are, however, permitted to create alt accounts, so make a new one and post away. Good luck on your endeavour!
Actually you don't have to be a VIP member or have an extremely valid reason to change your username. All you have to do is make yourself useful in this forum, make yourself valuable, contribute (not monetary) to the discussion and help the community, stay in this forum long enough to gain a very good untarnished reputation, be an asset and last but not the least, ask nicely to Theymos.

But if you want your username to be changed to the one on the Subject, that's auto reject, you are just trolling.
2338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 221: Romero vs Rockhold Prediction and Info Thread on: February 18, 2018, 02:36:37 PM
I didn't watch the fight as I only see a few interesting fights in the card but according to some sports news outlet, this is one of the lowest buys in PPV in UFC history and they are saying that Boxing is starting to pick up again while UFC continues with its low PPV buys. I guess its because they only have a few fighters left that attracts PPVs.
2339  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC Exchange on: February 18, 2018, 02:30:40 PM
Has anyone else sent ever Ethereum to wrong coin wallet by mistake?
I did that and since December i have opened tones of tickets which do unanswered.
About 3 weeks ago they asked me for txn which i sent and i told they would urgently help me recover my 300$ Ethereum sent to EBTC wallet instead of the Ether wallet address in the exchange
Your post is conflicting because the transaction was made December 2017 and they responded only 3 weeks ago so lets say last week of January 2018 and you are using the word urgently? If HitBTC have the sense of urgency to help you recover that $300 worth of ETH same day of maybe 24-48 hours they could have responded with at least a confirmation that they received your concern and they are on top of it. There is no sense of urgency with "tones of tickets which do unanswered".
2340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a country with ETH on Blockchain on: February 16, 2018, 12:58:28 AM
I guess Ethereum is still a far bigger and more worldy recognised than NEO still.

My country was bought last night but i bought it back again!
NEO still have a long way to go to at least match or be at the same level with Ethereum. They have a lot of catching up to do. But the developer of Ethereum once claimed that 90% of their tokens are more likely to collapse. I hope NEO is not going to this direction and settle with quality tokens instead of quantity.
