Indian management has failed to fulfill its responsibilities. KL Rahul and Ashwin have consistently played poorly. I don't think that this is a valid argument. IPL only helped the Indian players, although it might have impacted their performance in the test format. Without the league, it would be impossible to find exciting young talents such as Arshdeep Singh and Surya Kumar Yadav. But the problem is that IPL benefitted most of the top T20 players around the world, as dozens of overseas players also take part in the IPL. The only ones losing out are Pakistani players and those from smaller nations such as Zimbabwe and Netherlands. IPL factor is surely having some impact on Indian performance, but they need to play their cards wisely like right now too much greediness is killing this with teams number are increasing and quality is also going down with event length is also not favourable for players here they need to do positive developments like keep just eight teams with increase quality and give better schedule for them which help to them instead of having more matches and long term event which is surely not helping and most likely it's going to be had impact like English Premier League which is toughest and highly paid but never helping English players as they face fitness issues and too many games which surely bring negativity to them.
