If you view everything through a black hole, you will obviously notice everything in a negative manner. The reality is that there is more negativity in this world when compared to positivity which is a constant if you ask me.

Some people get swept away by darkness while some others don't. In my opinion, every year is the same in some ways and different in some other ways.

Don't just focus on the negatives op. Focus on the positive stuff too.
2322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2023, 02:52:41 PM
Surya is just doing his thing.
Sky is on full throttle and is helping India reach a total close to 230 or something which would definitely secure a win for them unless Arshdeep or some other Indian bowler give away too many free runs through wides/no-balls.

Also, I am seriously disappointed with Hooda who keeps underperforming despite getting chance after chance in the T-20 format.

I just realized that, apparently, @malcovi was also one of the winners at another casino holding a bitcoin prediction contest. Congrats again to @malcovi.
That dude is crazy lucky. He won the contest here and was declared as one of the winners in the Sinbad contest after a cheater was kicked from the winners list. I believe my prediction was the next closest prediction. It's like all the stars aligned perfectly in his favour.

I'm still observing the bitcoin movement and haven't given my prediction yet in the Bitcasino bitcoin contest. Maybe after the 10th, I will give it because I feel the bitcoin price will not increase significantly.
Good idea. I tend to post my predictions on the final day too.

on a slightly different and updated world view, I'm reading "the network state" by Balajis now, really interesting one as well
I checked out 'The Network State by Balaji Srinivasan' which seemed quite interesting as you mentioned. Didn't expect him to talk about topics like the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war along with crypto related stuff.

Let’s just hope that security for Gambling site are more different, there might be no assurance for this though. The government will always have a choice to regulate everything in crypto, and that can include gambling regulations might be more riskier in the future.
Personally, I would never depend on crypto sites to safeguard my assets which is why I tend to store my funds(Big amounts) in reliable wallets like Trezor, Exodus etc.

Enabling 2FA in regularly visited crypto sites also helps boost security.
2325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 06, 2023, 08:25:34 PM
Umpires shouldn't have stop the match as it was about to end just 3 overs left and 15 runs to chase. Pakistan could have won this one or Newzealand could have taken 1 wicket but atleast results should be announced.
Anyways good batting by Sarfaraz Ahmed he literally saved Pakistan today and at the end naseem Shah did some good batting.
You can thank ICC for these shitty rules which the umpires are simply following to the best of their abilities. This match could have easily produced a result in either team's favor, but draw messed it all up.

Tired of all these draws in test cricket which is one of the primary reasons as to why my interest in them keeps decreasing over time.

It's looks a bit like live casino, isn't this what Live Casino is copying? I'm just asking.

It also seems good to play here at bit casino, it has been operating in this industry for a few years anyway, which means that many gamblers trust to gamble on this gambling platform...
Livecasino made it extremely clear when they initially launched that they are related to Bitcasino and Sportsbet in some ways which is why this is old news.

I enjoy gambling in both sites primarily because of zero deposit and withdrawal fees though I prefer Bitcasino over Livecasino primarily because of their promotions. Sportsbet is another great sports betting site in their family.

I just put in my predictions for January, unfortunately I don't think we get to see relief so soon for BTC price, but that makes it better for us accumulators right? Wink
Personally, I am not a fan of this stablecoin BTC behavior and I hope it starts swinging upwards regularly again soon.

the FTX case is the prove that regulation won't be the holy grail for consumer protection

regarding your comment on governments, you may enjoy to check Rothbard's book "Anatomy of the state", it's pretty much about how robbing and fooling people is the nature of the state and not an exception

some say that governments won't regulate crypto, but crypto will regulate governments.
There are so many silly people out there who actually believe that fully regulated crypto gambling sites is a good thing. They have no idea what world governments are capable of and follow them blindly.

Also, I checked out the book that you mentioned and I am intrigued. Will definitely read it properly soon.
2328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 06, 2023, 05:11:17 AM
Arshdeep bowled 5 noballs in his 12 ball spell. And he bowled 3 of them consecutively. In total, the Indian bowlers conceded 7 no-balls and it was the primary reason why they were defeated yesterday. If you remove the runs scored from free-hits, you can see that India would have comfortably won the match.
Didn't watch the match, but I am not really surprised by these issues related to Arshdeep. I never liked his bowling even though many support him primarily because he buckles under pressure way too often.

Malik is the new Thakur these days since he takes wickets consistently despite maintaining a poor economy rate.
2329  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: January 05, 2023, 06:45:43 PM
A big problem that I have noticed in crypto gambling sites these days is the KYC aspect which they enforce at any time despite promoting anonymous gambling. I would like to see more 100% no-KYC crypto gambling sites.

I would like to see a game like Pai Gow Poker where the chances of winning are slightly higher when compared to traditional poker along with a low minimum bet in order to attract gamblers of every level.

Sites like telegram and twitter are my go-to spots for news related to crypto gambling news apart from Bitcointalk.
2330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: January 05, 2023, 03:51:35 PM
Same here, I also think that Bitcoin will tank this January, for the same reason that there is not much good news happening around the market, the only positive article I read is the prediction of Tim Draper for BTC to surge $250k within six months which is somehow insane.
250 grand? Lol. That is seriously insane and hilarious and won't happen. These celebrities just make these wild predictions for the sake of attention since no one can predict the price of BTC accurately at any point of time.

The bonus round ended with $165 wins from a $0.20 bet base bet.

Wow. That is an amazing win. Great to see such big wins now and then in this thread.
2331  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 05, 2023, 12:19:22 PM
Weekly or monthly doesn't matter. people always want something unique so you must do something unique then others casino site for attract gamblers on your site. you can ask opinion here to all Bitcointalk membes  but you should think yourself what should you do and which offer can attract gamblers.
I disagree. Weekly and monthly bonuses matter a lot to many gamblers since they provide some sort of target to achieve which helps both the sites and the gamblers in a mutually beneficial manner.

Tweaking them optimally is tough to achieve. This is primarily why op created this thread in the first place.
2332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 05, 2023, 04:38:00 AM
I want to see Umran bowling against the Australian and English batsmen. Let's see who is going to win the duel. On the other hand, Mavi impressed me yesterday as he was able to perform under extreme pressure.
Once Umran improves his line and length, he could possibly become a deadly force against any team out there.

Also, Samson was injured during last match. Now they have called up the injured Jitesh Sharma. Samson fans were celebrating in Twitter after Rishabh Pant got injured and now their own guy is out of action as a result of an injury to his knee. I don't know whether Jitesh will get any chances, as Ishan Kishan is likely to be the first-choice keeper.
Celebrating when Pant almost died? Truly inhuman pieces of crap. Felt sad for Samson too since he truly deserves a lot of chances, but these opportunities keep passing him due to injuries etc. Also, who is Jitesh Sharma?
2333  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: January 04, 2023, 05:53:26 PM
I'm fine temporarily to see bitcoin is at stable situation since its like putting fire in water and can ease the panic of people brought up by previous dump happened.
BTC behaving like a stablecoin didn't really help me since I used to earn good amounts thanks to its wild swings just like many other investors out there. Decrease in its volatility basically cut my profit margin.

I just made the most optimistic prediction in the thread so far

but I really hope that there will be much more optimistic ones in the days to come, and they will turn out to be true.
I don't really see BTC breaking out in an upwards manner unless something really good happens to help move it along.
2334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 04, 2023, 03:36:49 PM
I suggest editing the title of this thread to 'Bitcoin cannot be banned or stopped by governments' because that's the truth. Firstly, all governments won't stand together to take down BTC and the entire cryptocurrency market for various reasons.

Secondly, even if they somehow miraculously take a stand together, their efforts would be pointless since BTC isn't 100% centralised. They would end up wasting their own time and money.

Also, the Indian government decided to regulate the cryptocurrency market recently since they realised that they cannot ban them completely.
2335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 04, 2023, 04:37:38 AM
I felt that team India got lucky, and they deserved to lose this match because they put up a really small total on such a small ground.
India were lucky for sure, but stating that they deserved to lose is pure nonsense. 160 : Small total? I've seen teams posting way lower totals and successfully defending them in the past for your information.

IMO, Mavi has the potential to become one of the future superstars for India in the T20 format. BTW, India was missing a pace bowling all rounder badly.
Future superstar? I doubt that. He's a decent bowler at best. Malik has the potential to become one of the future superstars for India IMO.

BTC price prediction for month of January is up guys visit this thread made by Bitcasino https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5432814.new;boardseen#new

Enjoying to see new prediction drop by various also the discussion created in line with the contest held.

Come participate now guys.
Thanks for updating us regarding this news. These prediction contests have been dropping at random times these days which is why many gamblers end up forgetting about them and regretting later on.

Happened to me too sometime back which is why it's always great to see some forum members sharing this stuff with other members now and then.

Coming to this new contest, I truly hope BTC will start moving upwards rapidly in this new year and stop behaving like a stablecoin.
2337  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 03, 2023, 03:53:34 PM
I suggest providing weekly bonuses to moderately active gamblers and monthly bonuses to highly active gamblers in order to incentivise them to keep coming back. Their wagering amounts can decide how active they were.

Apart from these bonuses, random rains in the chatbox to legit gamblers helps retain gamblers too.
2338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 03, 2023, 02:39:18 PM
Pakistan bowling has gone into the gutter these days in the test format. Their newbies aren't performing well at all and it's pretty evident that they require fast bowlers like Shaheen, Amir etc and spinners like Ajmal, Kaneria etc.

Am expecting a New Zealand win since Azam's run out was a big blow while Imam is holding down the fort for now.
2339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 03, 2023, 05:13:39 AM
Am not really interested in such crazy lotteries since I have way more fun betting on sports where skill helps to a degree and casino games like Baccarat which have a way, way lower house edge in comparison.

Getting rich overnight is not exactly something that I crave, but would obviously love it if it actually happens to me sometime in the future.
2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 04:53:01 PM
Casino games actually help you win big amounts just as much as sports betting op despite the house edge factor. There are so many stories of people who won big money through casino games and sports betting out there.

Personally, I tend to bet on sports more often when compared to playing casino games primarily because I enjoy it more and the skill factor helps.
