2321  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are changing ..... Bitcoin should wake up and innovate more! on: September 10, 2022, 11:10:13 PM
Banks are seriously changing with more and more of them being operated solely online while trying to reduce fees, makes it easy to open and grant users access to there funds as much as they could. Of course this is very necessary in the monetary system of the world and expected too but there will always be one issue and that is, the issue of accepted currency and the issue of centralization.
When it comes to across borders, even a particular nations recognised currency is not useful not until you change it to the localitys base currency and that remains an advantage for cryptocurrencies.
Another one is the issue of centralization as the CB can just up any delay and make declarations that might have effects on customers funds in various banks.
These are aspects that is seems can't be kicked out in the history of banks and its another limitation fir which cryptocurrency fills in.

I really feel like Cristiano Ronaldo should be in the starting 11. He is still a great player and there is no reason why he should not be played as a starting 11 player. His performance this season has not been well.

But there is also a big reason behind it. The coach does not have any confidence in Cristiano Ronaldo and right now it feels like Cristiano Ronaldo is a player who is more suited as a bench warmer instead of a world-class player.
For sure, CR7 is not a bench warmer and is best suited for first team. His in the first 11 of course but this way of coming from the bench is just some way for Ten Hag to making him go head down in the game. We all know he wanted to leave and as such, its hard giving your best in a team you no longer believe in or don't have a sense of belonging about. You've got to want it, wan  t to play and CR7 is a player that is always after the glamour and seeking out his career objectives. How is he supposed to get that if not on the pitch? That means his got to want to play and coming from the bench can stimulate that. Either your team is loosing and you wish to be there saviour or your team is winning and you've got to share in their joys on the pitch.

A draw with a score of 1 - 1 doesn't make sense, Ajax did win their match against Rangers in the first match of the UCL with a score of 4 - 0, but that does not mean they will easily face Liverpool. Liverpool are in worse condition than Ajax at the moment, sure, Klopp and Liverpook will try hard to win their game against Ajax and get their first 3 points in UCL.
Maybe not but, if we look at the dangers of Liverpool loosing there first game in very humiliating manner like they did, you would understand the type of team Ajax is going to face. Let's not forget, this is the UCL and Klopp is furious right now. Hw would ensure he touches all the buttons that would make him win. You can see whay he did in the EPL, where they counted goals up to 9. Thought that guy not he the situation for Ajax as they are another strong side but, there is no doubt in mind that Liverpool can't lose this one its either a win or a draw for Liverpool but the chances of a win is high.
2324  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Queen Dies at the age of 96 on: September 10, 2022, 05:47:34 PM
Colonisation was never a bad thing, countries that was colonised then be the Queen are doing much better today. Colonisation of most countries brought civilisation, education and good system of government.  The Queen is being celebrated because people really understand and acknowledge the role played by her to make the world a better place. She will always be remembered for are good efforts.
I think the best question to be the determinant to this is, if a people that were colonised ever liked it. If your answer should he yes or no, iys entirely subject to what impact it left on you or your people. That's because, though it might result in a quick civilisation as it is not evitable but it often live marks that might become endemic in a people and cuase trauma through a life a generational life time. But that's entirely dependent on a people and what they took from there colonisation
2325  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Power Or Money ? on: September 10, 2022, 05:20:32 PM
Power also may not literally be related to money, because in some areas, physical strength is the determinant of imposing power. Just as money is not a determinant of power if the person himself does not want to possess that power in any way.
I don't see or know anything that could have done a more better job.
Money has the ability to command will power. Although strength might prevail in a place and supposedly act as a determinant, it raises you to a position of high financial strength which would act as the controller.

There is a sayings that goes in my place my locality that after God/gods the next thing is money and then government if we go a step further. But yeah, it's money as it creates that possibility.
2326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency acceptance Everywhere on: September 09, 2022, 11:54:34 PM
It is the duty of crypto exchanges to tax users on trades they are making which can be indirectly collected by the government especially in a crypto that accepted crypto and ask for heavy tax from crypto companies.
Each transaction we are making on exchanges like swapping of coins and sending of coins out of a crypto exchange requires tax each users pays and if the government ask for there own share then nothing is wrong with that.
Crypto exchanges make lots of money from us for swapping out coins other channels of earning from us.
You know sometimes they talk about taxation as it is the main issues with cryptos. Like, can someone really exists in any nation without paying taxes?
Thee are direct and indirect taxes and somehow, the government gets to collect this either from its individual citizens directly or on the goods they buy or services they pay for. Its just the way it is.
I am from a country where taxe is mostly so.etning we read in books and the few persons that pays taxe directly are those working in public offices as civil servants. As the government deducts there valued income taxe directly from there salary while paying them monthly but for the ordinary citizens, it comes as indirect taxe. The same goes for bitcoin in most.
2327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Bitcoin Traders Arrested Due To Illegal Trading on: September 09, 2022, 11:40:45 PM
My nation is not bitcoin friendly as well and still, we rank as one of the highest bitcoin adopters world wide. A trade once sue a government agency over a fraud case involving the trading of cryptocurrency and after providing all the evidence as per accurate records, the individual won against the agency following court rulings.

The point I'm trying to highlight here is, though bitcoin may be banned deonst mean its trading is also banned. Banning bitcoin might be subject to its use case for an acceptable currency for exchange within the country but trading it against other currency in the currency market is different or just my thoughts.

Another point in this is, the trades weren't illegal and the trader ensured accurate book keeping on his activities.

After reading the case in OP, it appears its an entirely different case. A case of fraud, using bitcoin. Unfortunately, the government are not going to relay the story the way it ought to be said.
2328  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 09, 2022, 11:28:56 PM

Nigerian job employments through selection or recruitment are free and fair. And one thing I came to understand in INEC is that, election has come to stay as a democratic state like Nigeria. Therefore, they should permanent the recruited staff to reduce unemployed youths in the country instead of using them and dumped them after the election to suffer and hustle again. Most time before the election ends some staff have already finished their allawee (salary). For those pipo wey dey go for di recruiment, na abeg we dey beg, make una do well, u know how we don suffer 4 di kwantri. No compromise, no bribery, and no fear.
I see reason with watin you dey try talk. The only matter for hear be say, after the election, watin go con be d job way dem go dey do?
Yes, them need job and them find temporal job as advocate staff to INEC and na normal thing way dey sup for even companies too. Everybody no fit be permanent staff finish. So, that one no too bad and no be typical use and dump, na just contract way get expiring date.
Where the wahala con dey for we government be say, them no dey create employment opportunities. Na watin for help pass and from there, due to competition, we fit dey produce export standard goods and generate revenue to support the inflation way dey worry the country.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: September 08, 2022, 11:59:47 PM
Ronaldo finally showed up in a game however Manchester United couldn't even score one goal today. Interestingly Real Sociedad even won in Old Trafford. It looks like Manchester United didn't take this game as serious as the EPL games.
If they didn't take this game serious, I wonder what game they would want to take serious because, they've got almost zero hope of emerging as champions of the EPL but when it comes to the Europa League, the might have a chance. Arsenal and Manchester United could be seen as the league favourite and so, they need to put in there best. Arsenal already did there quota to have won there game but Manchester United that played beautifully against Arsenal in the EPL, here allows Real Sociadad to win them in there home. Its shocking but, its football I guess.
2330  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Queen Dies at the age of 96 on: September 08, 2022, 11:50:45 PM
"In this life you come and you go, story about life" Arrdee said it all and today again it is actualized in the existence of the Queen. Just months ago, she celebrated her platinum jubilee and today, she's no more but would be moaned and celebrated by others. She has done a lot for her nation, have come of age where her strengths and will to continue fails her but today, she goes to rest. It is our hope that her gentle soul rests in peace.
My condolences to the family and those hurt by her death. She would be missed by the world that has come to know her.

Hahah, well done Dinamo! As I said before the game, if there ever was a perfect timing for them to host Chelsea, it was today.

Chelsea really disappointed tonight - they had the majority of the possession but were abysmal with their decision making in the final third. This is a difficult group and Tuchel will be furious that they lost points here.

Dinamo is demolishing clubs from London in Maksimir - they won against Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea here.
It's a very disappointing way for Chelsea to kick off the UCL with. After several disappointing performances in the EPL, I had hoped that, it would be different in the UCL and they would come at Dinamo Zagreb and I like to think that they did try but that wasn't good enough. I mean, how could Chelsea be so frantic after the Dinamo Zagreb first goal in the early 13minutes of game play not to be able to get an equalizer in there supposed win match, just a single goal!
Anyway, nice one for Dinamo Zagreb, they've got there 3 points and are unto the next while Chelsea would prepare to meet with Fulham in the EPL.

PSG is on there way to humiliating Juventus. Its 2 goals already and K. Mbappe is on the score sheet. From the way it's looking, Juventus might not have a goal in this match.
2333  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [CHARTS] Monthly Overview Of The Unofficial Nigeria Local Board📈 59 Members on: September 06, 2022, 02:35:03 PM
Thanks again @Igehhh for taking out your time to ensure proper statistics is kept on the activities of Nigerians in our temporal hangout on the forum. I want you to know that it is indeed helping in many ways and your job is well noted by foreigners to us and Nigerians alike. It gives me greater pleasure to note that, there are about 59 active Nigerians on the forum and this presents me with the singular opportunity to ID them on the forum even as we wait on other low rank users to rank up and be more involved.

As a note to this thread although, it might feel unnecessary as it is already presented in the OP, I would have appreciated it even more should the monthly statistics as presented at each start of the month come with and adhoc-link to the Nigerian hangout. This would aid those with particular interest in most recent discussions on a thread to trace our roots. It's entirely up to you on the validity of this suggestions though. Good work.

Arteta’s failing to sign a player in the defensive midfield position made them look short in the game and it cost them that match. Arteta was forced to revert to a double-pivot of Albert Sambi Lokonga and Granit Xhaka instead of playing a lone 6 as he did with Partey. This affected their speed in the build-up as Xhaka and Odegaard often dropped deep to receive the ball, allowing Manchester United players to close the gaps behind them. Arsenal will be all out against Everton at the Emirates. I know they wouldn’t lose to Everton.
A single loss for Arsenal and we are seeing so much analysis about what went wrong. Were Arsenal fans thinking that they would win all their matches in the English premier league? The team has been exceptional this season; we should praise them more than we criticize them.
It's not unusual to have them fans try to speculate what or how there team got it wrng in a particular lost game but I think Arsenal have done quite well for themselves this season. They've been the leagues favourite until there lost in the old Trafford and truth be told, Manchester United is still a big team so, we shouldn't expect Arsenal to just come and crushing them in there home.
They did well, you could notice the pressure they mounted on Manchester United and in the early 15minutes of the second half which produced Saka's goal but soon after, Manchester United found a slag in there defence and they have Marcus Rashford going for it.

They would surprise other top English teams and Ronaldo would be happy he stayed.
True that Arsenal and Manchester United could surprise the EPL but I have some serious doubts on if Manchester United would make it to the UCL next season. Should they try, it won't be as a result of there good performance in the EPL.
Ronaldo is surely not going to be so happy as you've hoped, we know his all about the glamour in the UCL and other prestigious competitions for which Manchester United is out and these days, his been coming in as a substitute and don't get the time to do much.

Milan / City / Real are also favorites to take 3 points today.

For me they are favorites but the biggest one is Chelsea against Dinamo Zagreb and the odd of near 1.6 it is very inviting for me.I think to bet on them because the team difference is extremely noticeable, the same for Real Madrid against Celtic Glasgow which should be an easy win.
I dont know what yiu guys are thinking but, I don't see Celtic Glasgow vs Real Madrid fixture to be an easy win. Iean, Real Madrid have got the squad and experience but these guys are also very good and could really pose a serious challenge for Real Madrid on this 3 points. Real Madrid might get to win in the end but they won't find it easy. The game I look for an easy win is in the Chelsea against Dinamo Zagreb fixtures. Surely Tuchel must be looking forward to this moment after several disappointments in the EPL not to mention that the odd is one that doesn't come with so much uncertainty if you consider that in placing a bet.

In truth, I have to scan through the 4 pages so far in search of OP's response to the series of response in suggestions, advice and questions that this thread have gotten and sadly, i couldn't find OP anywhere aside from creating this thread. This makes me question if:

1. Is OP really giving this thread any attention as we wish to believe?
2. Are the questions unnecessary?
3. Are all or some of the suggestions satisfactory or perhaps non yet?
4. Is a response totally unnecessary for the suggestions thus far?

I have what I would have loved to say but, I don't know if you @OP is even following and it would be of no use, for OP at least.
2338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How will you handle this case on: September 05, 2022, 12:13:52 PM

Haven't been into crypto for a while now, a hack on the wallet is very much impossible and it could only have been the other brother. Th only by pass to it is, if the wallet could be accessed by biometrics. I know some stupid people do allow other persons (by that I mean a partner as in a dating relationship) as a form of loyalty and not having anything to hide but, we are going to rule that out here.

For the brother to be aware of the login details nd not relating to the owner of the wallet the dangers involved in having another person know your password, it could only have been a scheme of his evil intent. Unfortunately, no harsh actions could be taken as, it will fall right back on the family. If possible, you guys could compensate him and hope he learns his lessons
1. Never to trust nobody
2. His enemies are those closest to him and
3. Privacy in cryptos is everything.

He should take that as a teaching moment and never forget that!
2339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I use Bitcoin in a country that it is banned? on: September 04, 2022, 10:34:38 PM
Using cryptocurrency in Nigeria is not very much welcomed but trading it is a different story. As much as you ain't doing anything illegal with it, your good. A crypto trader won a case against a government agency some months ago by providing all the necessary evidence to ensure his earnings were legitimate.

Speaking of which, where most of the issues come up wth bakns and traces is in the feedback on a successful trade. The feedback you give is where the problem comes from and the CBN in particular aren't in support, being the issuers of fiat currency and the banks are a direct subordinate to the CBN.
2340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 04, 2022, 10:25:56 PM
Trading is not gambling but one can still gamble on trades. Confusing statement right? Not so much though.
The thing about it is, there are ways to analyse both but, one comes with more certainty as there are ppinters and that is trading but the other being gambling on the other hand have git zero pointers to it. The game is basically decided on the field of play for sportsbook but when it comes to casino games, it's basically based on an algorithm that uses the gamblers input in calculations. That is almost as certain as a 100% luck and that can't be said about trading.
