Will mine for sure, but does argon2 have gpu mining yet or any ready pool script? If there is one i would love to try to make a pool Smiley

Argon2 algorith was created to be GPU resistant. No GPU miner exists yet. I saw one project which was later abandonned. Titan X can only reach about 6kH/s, which is less than on old laptop CPU.

https://ar2.suprnova.cc/ is using MPOS for that, do you think this also works for Lemoncoin? I could try setting up a pool after launch on the script

I've started updating the wallet, will add ... an IRC client.

I think IRC should be kept out of the wallet.

If you ask me it is a good idea Smiley Of course it would be good if you could hide the option for IRC, and also client block explorer would be nice

Maybe you haven't read this.

IRC in wallets doesn't sit well with me.

Thanks! Smiley I have not ever seen this so i now see that you have a  good point.

Hello! Well, what about AMD GPU miner?

I believe that there is no working one yet Smiley

"claymore cryptonote gpu miner"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=638915.0

might work Wink

I do not think it works, i have heard that the client will not accept Neptunium addresses. And it closed source too so we cannot change the code for it

You can mine ar2 on pool, so I guess, this one is also no problem. And as I know, there is no GPU miner yet.

I meant that, is there any ready pool script that supports this algo? I would love to setup a pool for this after launch if there is Tongue i wonder if MPOS supports it because suprnova uses that with argon2coin

I've started updating the wallet, will add Neptunium's logo and embed an IRC client. I'll also add all the current pools as seed nodes.
Tomorrow I'll release the update, and announce the giveaway and some bounties.

Sorry I haven't been very active with updates in the past few days.

Alright dev! That sounds promising, good job!  Grin

Hi dev,
I have got some strange block rewards: 2.800772072  1d177712fa7306bc4dac3769a41a6d8a8f32e0e165d756881e7525f0922ff11f and

Seems strange, but I've gotten reports of this. My pool seems to be receiving normal blocks. Have you been getting any normal blocks (Around 3.04 NPT)?

Yes before it was ok, but again before i have been mining with simplewallet, now with netuniumd directly.

It shouldn't make a difference simplewallet or the daemon. The block reward isn't decreasing that quickly. Some block rewards are smaller than usual, which is strange, but most rewards should be normal.

Hope the best, but maybe i will change it back to simplewallet. Don't want to waste reward amount.

My pool has got few block for 1.xx and 2.xx npt, not very many tho Smiley So dont worry, you should mostly get 3.04xxx NPT block rewards. Also you might want to join a pool Smiley

I'm actually minging on pool with my GPUs, only with CPU i'm still solo:)

Ah yeah alright Tongue But yeah those smaller rewards happen rarely, i do not know the reason

By the way, does anyone have any plans for block explorer?

I can try making one if anyone knows any ready to use cryptonight block explorer script Tongue

so, mabye we can make an task Release platform,

people need some easy help, when one done it, use NPT for payment of remuneration

If you have some idea, you should send him private message my friend Smiley Of course if you want to talk about something, im also avaible via pm.

Nice Smiley If you want to chat with ppl that are from neptunium, you can just use this link for chatting with us https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/#neptunium

Its just IRC web client so you dont need to install any programs

GPU mining is avaible,

There is nvidia miner, i dont think amd miner works.
Lies, a AMD miner exists but it's closed-source.

There was some problem with the amd miner if i remember correctly, it did not accept neptium address because it was "wrong format" if i remember right, not sure if anyone has found a workaround for it. Roll Eyes
Well, Claymore ATI Miner won't accept neptunium addresses is a lie, it must be the mining pool that didn't accept it.

So it works for you? weird, i have not met anyone with working Claymore ATI miner
Oh wait, it worked for me the last time I used it.

Well, what i have heard its not working because its complaining about address, do you mind sharing how did you get over that?

Interesting, and good for you for making a pure proof-of-work with no premine.  Not sure what your goal is, other than to get the inevitable Cryptonote altcoin race started, but you got my attention.

Can someone show the coin distribution on a graph by year?  When will the coin be 'mined out'?  How does it propose to continue rewarding miners without a perpetual tail emission?  Or does this aim to be a deflationary asset in the cryptonote world?

When exchanges?
i hope soon!
15000 satoshi is a good start for this I think

no it is not, 20k satoshi is the minimum for this, you can do 200 coin per day with 3 gpu that can earn you 0.04 with etheruem or more

Please stop speculating on a price for this coin.  It's currently not on any exchange.  If it makes it to one the market will set the price

yeah agreed, atleast this point the coin is 0 value because it has no market so price speculation is unneeded

I am interested in speculating and buying some of this for the future, but I have no interest in mining it currently.  However I would be interested in purchasing something like 100 to 500 XMR worth (0.25 to 1 BTC).  The thing is though that even Aeon (another Cryptonote) is only going for 4000 to 5000 satoshi and it is much more established.  I could see paying 3000 satoshi each for this coin, but no more at the moment - it doesn't even have an exchange.

like it was said at 3k satoshi it's not worth to mine, we can only produce a small amount of this per day because the block reward is very small

yeah i dont think so either, 3000 sat is nout nearly enough for me to sell for, thats just outrageous price
