Nothing.

Not entirely.

Looks like a one man band, the one man being Thomas Walsh, who specializes in "investment opportunities with asymmetric risk/reward profiles", a.k.a. a lender of last resort.
2322  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BitAdviser - Doubler and other scam sites tested on: December 23, 2015, 09:38:24 AM
This seems to be another form of HYIP monitor, right? Well, it does provide some useful information but the problem is still the same, these website do go down quickly and only noobs can use them.

And also the fact that invariably the monitor's 'investment' is provided by the ponzi operator as part of the deal and may not represent what is actually going on.
Monitors are pretty pointless, as much a part of the scam environment as the schemes themselves.

This is just a ponzi/hyip scheme guys, do NOT send your money here.
The age of it, 1month+ will fool u because they are paying from early members money.

Have you even read through this thread? You do know he's been paying since August, right?

He's just a spammer, have ever seen his post counter?  Grin

In my experience rammy's always been reasonable.
Unfortunately he, Vod and others have drawn the conclusion that ALL sites that offer seemingly impossible ROI must be scams and have tarred Adam with the same brush.
As a financial trader myself, I know that high returns are possible day trading, and personally give Adam the benefit of the doubt.
It's unfortunate, I have tried to counter the red trust, I'm only DT3 and carry little weight, but it doesn't seem to be putting people off investing.

I know that it's considered bad style to apply for a moderator position, but if you're looking for yet another patroller, I'm available Smiley
Reported a bit over 400 posts, 100% acceptance.
I'm fairly liberal regarding forum posts, reporting only clear spam (this NotLambChop bot-generated spams, and occasional spamvertisements that are clearly unrelated to crypto currencies). This wouldn't change if I had the power to just delete posts instead of reporting them.

So, how much did this account cost you?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=183929

Did you buy it specifically to promote this crap?
2328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone heard of BITCOIN-CLUB.ORG? on: December 22, 2015, 09:46:48 AM

...and yep just for fun, I still offer $2 back if anyone joins under me..  Wink

Yeah great fun, promoting a piece of crap like this for pennies.

Hi Guys,

I'm not affiliated with the above website and just wanted to check if anyone here is using the above service? It's an MLM system where members can earn bitcoins through an awareness campaign. They have a very nice presentation on youtube, detailing what the program is all about, and how much you can earn.

If interested, please sign-up using my link www.bitcoin-club.net/2405722240 since you cannot register without a referral code. There is no need to pay anything until you are ready to activate your account which costs only $22.

If you do activate your account, let me know and I will return $2 worth of bitcoins to you.  Wink This is equivalent to 1-month membership for using the system.

Completely unsustainable.
It goes without says that Iskren Ivanov "Founder and CEO", has no net footprint whatsoever.

It's just another piece of shit lying on the Bitcoinland sidewalk waiting for people who aren't looking, to step in.

2331  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Best Bitcoin Cloud Mining Contracts with Daily Payout on: December 20, 2015, 08:10:22 PM
So, you buy a one day 100 Gh/s 'mining contract' for $28 and get $31 back, 24 hours later............ Roll Eyes

Check the trust feedback of the OP, just in case you need any further encouragement NOT to touch this crap with a ten foot pole.
2332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: December 20, 2015, 12:07:37 PM
My investment is distributed among multiple miners like CMW, Eobot, Bitcoin Club Mining etc and they are doing pretty well.

Hey, what a quality portfolio!  Cheesy

Why not put some into Hourlymine.com and Bitminer.eu as well? They meet all your criteria of absolutely no proof of mining and crazy cheap hashrate, then you'll have a Royal Flush of Shit.  Grin
I'm sure your friend with the scam monitor site could be persuaded to list them as "Paying" if they send him a few sats.

2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLUB] ClubCoin - Roadmap announced shortly on: December 19, 2015, 10:08:15 AM
ClubCoin hit just over $1.00 per coin over night on the Bittrex Exchange!!

BOOM SHIVA! Totally unexpected! Now it's down hovering at around 0.4 cents as expected. If anyone can shed some light on the unexpected rise i'd love to hear your theory.

Although I said that I won't troll here re: BCN I will comment on this, having a little knowledge (a dangerous thing) of pump and dumping.
It looks like a round number marker price of $1.00 was established the previous night and then marked down on no volume to a comparatively attractive 10 cents.
A $1000 worth of pump then ensued last evening to suck in a chasing buy wall which was dumped into for a profit plus moar and now it's flat lining back at ~30 cents.
2334  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MMM Global Republic of BTC - Sergei Mavrodi ponzi scheme! Stay away on: December 18, 2015, 10:03:20 PM
Somebody had to, sooner or later.
On the South African Facebook site, among all the posts of new cars and furniture that "Help Providers" were gleefully accumulating thanks to the Saviour Mavrodi, it was only a matter of time till someone had to ask THE QUESTION

Suggestions came fast and some, furious:

this is funny i told ppl about mmm and they said its satanism lol, awu when banks are eating your money its not satanism?

One or two got closer to the truth (didn't get any likes tho)

MMM does not invest that's the problem, the source of the money is members qha so if the system losses membership then....,....!

Quote
truth is the power is in new members without them there is no payout

But, everyone's misgivings were put to rest when Teko Joseph De-huis turned up and explained it all carefully

Guys, i've been reading your comments. Now, let me tell you where the money comes from. Our system is automated and programmed to trade one currency versus another currency. MMM is trading a Rand versus a Dollar just like Kipi is trading a Rand versus a Euro. Ok? One rand is weaker than these two currencies, so that is how we make our profits. With one rand you make fifteen rand, but now to keep the system going, some of the money remain in the system. Ok. The system is our own transparent broker.

He didn't convince everyone tho

Hi everyone from me too! I`m the other creator of mycoincloud.com , like my colleague I`ll be glad to answer you`re questions . Wink

Hi, your colleague missed this one.

Some of the things that makes us diferent are:
1 - We use the best mining hardware with small power usage.
What hardware would that be?

So, you're sort of a parasite on parasites then?

Bitclub network is a network marketing community focused on bringing people into Bitcoin and the digital currency revolution.

That's one way of putting it, another way is a huge, well organized and seed funded Ponzi with a predatory MLM structure attached, the creators of which will run away at some point with many millions of dollars.

FWIW, I'm not going to troll you or your thread because of my belief that BCN is 'dodgy' and if your motivation is honest, then good luck to you.
I'm not into altcoins, but skimming the history of Blackcoin it's obvious that you guys have put a lot of work in over a period of time and have a loyal following.
This development has, unsurprisingly, surprised me and until I work out the ramifications of it, you have a holding "guilt by association" tab with me, which I'm sure you won't lose any sleep over.

About the scams , you will convince in time that we are not.

Because of the number of scams in cloud mining, the onus is on you to prove that you are not, at the very beginning, otherwise there is no "in time".

Lots of questions for you to answer before there's any reason to take this seriously.
Who?
What?
Where?
When?
for a start.

Hi, most of your questions are answered in our website only to your question "when" the answer is two - three days.

And the "where" is Bulgaria?

Yes , we are situated in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia

Both the admin and the farm are in Sofia?
