If your interested in litecoin development check this group out - http://www.coinconnect.org/groups/profile/28912/litecoin-users-group
Spamming your link in every litecoin-related alt currencies post is not really helping your credibility dude, kind of reminds me of the solidcoin link spammers.
Fixed that for you Smiley

I admit I'm pushing it but they have all been relevant to the OP  Huh
2322  Economy / Securities / Re: Red Star Mining IPO GLBSE Listing - FPGA double boards ~800MH/s@~40W - each on: April 03, 2012, 03:38:43 PM
The supplier saying if we order and pay for board #2 now we'll have the first one from the next batch.  He wants $1129 tho (not $999 like the last board I got us discounted) and $70 shipping but it still works out cheaper than two of the new x6500 FPGA boards which is what we would need to equal both the hashing power and efficiency.  Shall we wait till we get our tracking number, received it or pay now to guarantee our board is first as he is going public in the next week so we may end up in the order cue like everyone else.  If we pay now it will be shipped within three weeks otherwise we may be caught in the order backlog once they go public within the next week.  FPGA board #1 is guaranteed to be shipped within the next nine days.  So what do current investors think?

Well when/if you start the bot I'll be making a deposit and the longer it runs well the more and more I'm willing to deposit more and more.

Thanks to everyone who has invested over the last few days as we now have enougth for FPGA board #2.  As soon as I get a shipping number for board #1 (which is guaranteed before the 13th April) I'll pay for board #2 which should be shipped right away.  I have contacted the supplier about our order for board #2.  Again thank you very much every one  Grin

2327  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Getting Women Naked *and* Empowered through Bitcoin on: April 03, 2012, 11:25:14 AM
Before I get started, if you haven't seen it yet, please check out the video (NSFW) I made for the Girls Gone Bitcoin bounty.

I have to say that I don't agree with the direction GGBTC is heading. I think that in order for this project to continue being successful, we need to make it a welcoming, sex-positive environment for a broader range of women. We women don't just want to trade bitcoin for cash, or buy lingerie and lipstick. We want to be empowered, entrepreneurial contributors to a beautiful economic explosion of awesomeness.

We need bitcoin to come full circle...stretch its legs and set new boundaries. I propose creating a new subreddit that encompasses a "by the women, for the women" philosophy (men welcome too of course). In addition to gorgeous nude photography for micro-payments, we can share bitcoin educational videos, women's health issues, support bitcoin micro-business ideas through donations, and even raise funds for causes such as Breast Cancer, etc.  Neither stripcoin nor pimps further the progression of women's empowerment, so we need to be careful about branding.

I'm personally interested in making the following sexy educational videos:

  • How to cash out on Mt.Gox and other exchanges
  • How to buy/sell goods on bitmit
  • Wallet guides for blockchain.info, strongcoin.com, bitmit, and instawallet
  • How to generate QR codes
  • Why firstbits are awesome and how to use them

Any ideas/feedback? Much appreciated!

And because I hate to disappoint

I like it.  Women need a voice in the bitcoin community of their own making, not one shaped by sexually frustrated males.

I agree bitcoin seems very male dominated and for bitcoin to succeed well over half the world is female.  You could set up a women's group on - http://www.coinconnect.org/ - the first bitcoin social network.  In the groups created on CoinConnect you can add blog posts, bookmarks, files, discussions and lots of other stuff too.

Litecoin is the strongest of all the alt-currencies and considering it's only a few months old it's doing very well.

Online banking.

I added my site to the OF list of affiliates but none were every approved and I've never heard anything from them (Google AdSense were interested tho?).  While "Anonymous Ads" doesn't pay very well at least it pays.

I'll probably just hoard all the NMC rather than sell them for peanuts to add to the dividend.  Although I may trade them on exchanges to increase there value (I've done that with LTC/USD and LTC/BTC and been profiting for a while now) until there value is higher.  We could use the NMC generated or the profits from trading them to help boost the expansion of more FPGA boards.

Thank you to the investor(s) over the last 24hrs  Grin  Does anyone have a view on what mining pool to use?  I want to use P2Pool for the health of the bitcoin network but I understand then I wouldn't be able to show live stats.  So I thought of this pool - https://mtred.com/ - As it offers PPS, 0% fees, merged mining and offers web stats plus Android stats on the mining.  What do investors think?

I'm a big fan of p2pool. Do you know that the hardware is going to work with it? I know the BFLs have issues with the p2pool sharechain. If it works, I'd be interested to see a minimum dedication to p2pool, and some portion of the gear point to the most profitable.

I'm also a big fan of merged mining. It may not be super important or profitable now, but with discussions underway to change namecoin fee structures, it may be in the future.

Well "owt for nowt" the NMC is free.

edit:  "owt for nowt" is northern England colloquial meaning "anything for nothing"

I would suggest taking advantage of such pools as https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=54467.0 and possible have mtred as a backup? to maximize the profits Smiley

Thanks for the idea but looks like the payouts have been a bit unstable recently and I need stability plus the ability to show investors the current hashing power for a while.  Once the dividends are regular I will be switching to P2Pool for the benefit of the health of the bitcoin network.
