so what's up with the failed to update height with the miner?
These are my two problems as well. Two cards each with its own problems ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs14.postimg.org%2Fdcffpwpgh%2Fimage.gif&t=663&c=RcS_X2IO8noFcw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs16.postimg.org%2Fe0yrbdss5%2Fimage.gif&t=663&c=3a1L6wzUuxzVMQ) i think the new miners was not updated to work with the last wallet they changed something in the code maybe First problem leads me to believe you have not unlocked the wallet for minting. Possibly it is the same issue the 2nd time over also. I assume you have made the correct additions in the nexus.conf since i see that you connect to the LLP. Also if your on windows i'd suggest using mumus version of skminer as it functions much better than wolfs version, mumus version of skminer uses wolfs kernel but does not have the bugs the wolf miner suffers from. how to unlock, i completely forgot about it because usually all these pos are unlocked by default...nevermind i was using the 2.0.5 version... in the settings there is no option to unlock the wallet wallet is minting but i still get this ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs13.postimg.org%2Fdu6d0c4qv%2Fnexus.png&t=663&c=n2L-vnVTK8MmDw)

just release it for free only small miner can mine that anyway
|
|
|
not to mention that spreadcoin is giving me the same, so it's pointless to pay for the same profit, when i can get it for free

For those who usually hold some money in BTC these Giants will be cheaper thanks to rise of BTC in the last 2-3 weeks..
yes but if you wait 3 months for btc to hit $2k and pay only 1 btc for a giant you are still losing 3 months of mining that would net you $1000 in the end it's the same, unless btc skyrocket in 1 week to 2k or more then you may have a point, but it's a gamble...

SPmod7 already does 75-76 Mh/s doing myr-gr per 1070 with one thread (100% power, +80 core).
But the hash is broken. you can see that the results on the pool is lower.. You get accepted shares with --diff 0,00390625 but it doesn't find many shares... Only one donator for the myriad groestl + grostl sp-mod? Come on ppl 50MHASH on the gtx 1060 3gb 85MHASH on the gtx 1070 Support faster kernel development without any fees,.. 0.05BTC and get a profitable kernel few ppl have access to.. Save it for later if the market collapse and there is nothing else to mine.. Limited sale edition. Could be free updates with more hash.. 0.05 is too much, i remember you were asing for 0.01 when btc was at $400, therefore now with btc at $1100 you are asking for 55, more than 33%...

You can make money from your current money if you are a good financial analyzer because there is a lot of opportunities to choose from like investment,ICOs,trading and much more. So it is up to you on how you will create money from your money. Be smart, and if you are not then study hard.
For me the best way to make money from money is passive income. You just let your money working for you without the necessity to do anything. The return is low, but you are doing nothing. For small amounts it can be an investment like casino bankroll, for big amounts it can be a house, apartment renting or store. the return can actually be high, it depend on your investment, for example with mining for every rig/asic added the return will be higher of course and you are still doing nothing, maintenance is 1 every 3 months another way is with pos coin, for every pos you invest you can add a % per month of your interest, if a pos coin give you 10% a month, you buy 10 of them to have 100%

It will happen at some point. One possible scenario is the cost of mining goes so high in terms of new hardware required to keep up, and the power cost, so much that ASICMINER goes bust, switches off, and hundreds of TH/s suddenly disappears from the network.
Not singling them out, this is a serious possibility with any BTC mining consortium that needs to make a profit to survive.
90% is unlikely no pool is holding a high hasrate like that, no farm either, 10% might be but it's hardly a factor in this, in fact when knc miner went bakrupt nothing really changed, and they were big enough at that time This has happened with a number of altcoins recently. Basically the only solution was for them to patch the client and hard fork.
we can't even hard fork for 2mb , you think bitcoin will hard fork for this? the consensus will never reach an agrrement
|
|
|
the only way is to build and determined the value with the old good barter, slowly people will recognize more and more the true value of bitcoin in this way, if there were no fiat currency
the value will be determined by how much people are willing to offer for one btc, then you accept or not their offer, not that different from trading

where is the proof os this address that contain 40 btc? or this is just account farming with useless topic?
if you really found it and you don't know to who belong than it's your i guess, if you can identify the owner it's better to give him the money back
you need to post more info so we can help you identifying the original owner if possible

can we send the money directly to them? not that i don't trust you but having all the money in the hands of a single person it's not secure
i'm contacting them for this

invest in mining, one x11 asic that cost you 300 usd can generate $50 usd per month, 6 months to roi
keep the other 200 usd for yourself, never invest everything you have, you can always invest in something else if your first investment turned bad

i want to know there is a switch to turn the mine on or off, or it simply turn on when you plug it?
also can you solo mine with it?

prices @75MHASH: 0,03047 * 0.075 = 0,00228525BTC per day ($2.4 per gtx 1070) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi66.tinypic.com%2Fj5juc7.png&t=663&c=l--t7nB_7iaGPQ) that is zpool, we all know what the real earning is....

without checking and wasting time what is the earning now on that algo?
They're both often at the top tier list of most profitable algos. Better than zcash & co most of the time. here is an extract of my own profitability tool (profit in $ after pool/miner fee & electricity) Sibcoin;10.02148220321937247292 Zcoin;9.99092860704226937460 LBRY;8.66746664810108021152 Zclassic;6.72558592986258411049 Feathercoin;6.56581255464374261891 Pascalcoin;5.85721592579093365927 DGB-Groestl;5.75520965813631997246 Zcash;5.03209905051899526628 Ethereum;4.87350032332051572866 EthereumClassic;4.85460556892490927277 DGB-Skein;4.83106929890259603433 Vertcoin;4.57381227072060445443 GroestlCoin;4.51844802163493614076 Orbitcoin;3.33715192651666742685 Diamond;3.32036504007254238977 Decred;2.07132314886492895884 Myriad-Skein;2.04383492515485307098
Sometimes during the day they're low, like right now, but other times they're pretty high (8-10$ profit), i switch on them more than 30 times per day (each switching slot is 10mn) so that's about 25% of the day they're the most profitable. mmh not so clear with all those numbers, what is the profit for one 1070? i see on zpool that it isn't that high

i see they added xevan algo on yiimp, it was intended to work with cpu only, yiimp isn't only for gpu? private gpu ar emining this? Myr-gr and groestl sp-mod #1 available for a 0.05BTC donation
Pm for details.

There are 2 8 pin connectors per board(only one needs to be connected), and there are 2 boards per Giant. They show that you can use a 6 pin connector in the videos online instead of a 8 pin.
So you will need 2 free pcie connectors from your PSU. So in theory you could connect one of these up to a PSU in a GPU rig if you have the spare capacity. I haven't tried it in that configuration.
yeah i have four 2 x 8 pin with my rm1000i, 3 are connected to six gpu, the last one in theory should be good for the giant
|
|
|
Put me down for 1.
Also what PSU do you guys recommend?
The giant is very easy to run. I have one running on a small 550w PSU and it hardly ever kicks on the fan so these things are very easy to power. after you connect it with the 8 pin you just need to power up the psu right? can be connected to a whole gpu rig?
