Please explain Ethics, i.e. moral philosophy, is a rather big subject; there are many concepts within it, but if you don't understand it naturally, you'd probably respond better to an argument of practicality, as ErisDiscordia pointed out. That part about not supporting the use of force I understood pretty well (and likely would agree to it). I didn't get what had been meant by (not) compelling people to have just one government in an area. They usually already have just one government in the area, why then should we compel them to in the first place? What did I get wrong here? |

Да, это тот самый банк, владельцы которого в июне 2004го пополнили активы банка на 1 миллиард рублей собственных средств, что успокоило вкладчиков. Возможно они и ввели какую-то ставку, но банк УСТОЯЛ во время того кризиса и до сих пор остается, пожалуй, самым крупным из коммерческих банков.
Да, это тот самый банк, который успешно пережил кризис 2008го, заняв крайне жесткую позицию по кредитам РусАла.
Более того, это чуть ли не единственный из крупных (олигархических) банков начала девяностых, который ПЕРЕЖИЛ и кризис 1998 года после всей заварухи с ГКО.
Да, у них не самые низкие тарифы. Но для нас стабильность, надежность и ликвидность важней.
П.С. Честно говоря, более-менее достойных альтернатив (для ЮЛ) среди отечественных банков по-моему нет.
Что думаете по поводу Промсвязьбанка? Он тоже вроде сейчас больше ориентируется на корпоративных клиентов, чем на физиков, да и играет в той же лиге, что и Альфа... |

NOBDODY! wants to exchange something for nothing. Bitcoin has no inherent value (examples of inherent value: water thirst, food hunger, house shelter, gold, art decoration/pretty/ industry). There is no inherent value to anything as far as human valuation is concerned. Each man has his own conception of value (that is why it is called subjective value in the first place) over anything. Bitcoin is valuable (or has value, if such form suits you better) to those people who find the properties inherent to it useful for the achievement of their aims. These are security, deflationary nature, fixed supply and limited number of coins ultimately possible to mine. Probably, there are some other properties that contribute to its subjective valuation by people, but these will suffice. Once you get the hang how things actually work with respect to valuation, everything will become clear and easily comprehensible...

Well obviously people believe (aims?) that bitcoin can be a 1) medium of exchange and 2) store of value. I have already given a specific list of bitcoin properties that people here usually consider useful for attaining their ends. These properties give Bitcoin subjective value to those who need them. Сейчас восстановлена покупка через Киви. Но резервы скоро закончатся. Тогда возможны временные отключения покупки.

Ну и несколько текущих нововстей:
1. Выплачены полностью все заявки по банковским переводам, включая заявки с ожиданием, по котрым срок еще не подошел. Восстановлены и увеличены банковские резервы.
Вижу в личном кабинете, что статус заявки изменился на "Выполнено", но судя по времени перечисления, деньги появятся на счету только завтра. А каким банком вы пользуетесь для перечисления, если не секрет? |

If you are not happy with your security service provider (Govt) why should you have to move hundreds or thousands of miles, give up your job, your local community etc and go into an uncertain situation when you could have a situation where it is as simple as changing your telephone provider or ISP? It just doesn't make any sense.

As I see it, the feasible alternative is very simple and clear, but it is not what you, anarchists and those sympathizing you, would probably love to hear. Nowadays, it is much easier and less troublesome to emigrate than it was even 50 years ago. The more national economics will be intertwined in the future as it is happening today, the more transparent national borders will become. So my point consists in making states peacefully compete for their human resources by means of providing better conditions of life for their population...

I think you need to talk to the people who lived 50 years ago and ask them just how easy it was to emigrate compared to today. My parents and grandparents told me stories where they would almost pay you to emigrate (from England to Australia). Not the case today. Today the process is much more arduous. You talk about particulars whereas I talk about the whole picture. We shouldn't take some single cases, we should look, before all, at the average level. The globalization right now moves masses of people around the globe, just take a look at the number of foreigners in Europe... No passports 100 years ago either.
So this in effect would mean that you couldn't actually go anywhere... |
