when the airdops stopped, i think BTX can go up.

Are you sure about that?  3 million coins in 6-7 weeks.  I’m thinking massive dump is coming.

I’M DUMPNG!!!

Airdrop received, thanks to the BTX team!
Yes, also received, and BTX's price is continue dumping. Do you want to buy more or sell cause of FUD?

What FUD?

This thing is about to dump HARD!!!

I’m DUMPING!!!   Grin

Having some ASIC's in a network is good for security, hashpower, and diversity.

Having it one sided and dominated in the network is bad for decentralization.

If it gets to the point BTX is being threatened by ASIC's then it's probably a good day because it means it's profitable enough to develop one.

True but I think it’s already on the way.  I read today that Samsung already has an ASIC chip to beat GPUs.  To me that sounds like an ASIC that can greatly enhance BTX’s security.

Trust me, any PoW algo can be defeated by ASICS.
As a doctor of computer science I agree with you. But who will buy ASIC that can mining TimeTravel10 with 3x cost of PC?

That’s dependent on the future value of BTX.

I think ASICS will be built en masse.
2346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin- 7% Airdrop every week on: March 11, 2018, 07:11:20 PM
BTX based on Timetravel10 - 10 algos in one coin.

So what?  That’s it?  There better be more than that.

I mean it is hard to create ASIC for 10 algos at one moment.

My papa taught me something important when I was little.  He said, anything one man can do another man can undo.

Trust me, any PoW algo can be defeated by ASICS.

What is your souce please?

The PoW algo is listed in the OP.  But nothing is ASIC proof.

there will be an hard fork if this will be mined by asic in the future?

Given the makeup of Bitcore's algo, I wouldn't think it would be profitable, nor effective at ASIC development.

They can change the parameters of the hashing fairly easy I believe and keep resistance.

That sounds too good to be true.  Everyone would be doing it.

Well Bitcore is the best at what they do so.... =P

Maybe one of the devs can answer this cause it’s really important.  TIA

2350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin- 7% Airdrop every week on: March 11, 2018, 05:51:35 PM
Can anyone tell me (even if mere speculation) why BTX to a huge plunge? Undecided

1440 minutes in a day = 576 BTX blocks x 3.12 = ~1800 BTX a day inflation.

Take around 240k BTX distributed weekly airdrop and that is ~34.2k per day inflation.

So the reason why price dropped is because it can no longer handle the inflation rate, once it settles down over the next few weeks, the only thing left will be mining, which is low, so the price will start to climb again, this time not being pushed back.

1800 BTX being introduced daily is a very small amount.  Take notes and I hope to see you on the upward swing Smiley

Another guy with logic nonsense.  Wink

Don’t be silly, all mining will go toward efficiencies.  Samsung already has ASIC chip to kill GPU mining.

Enjoy the ASIC free zone while you can.

I read something about the devs being the Hindenburg Crew.  Scary.

Let’s hope for $5, that will be fuel for BTX.
Peace

I would like to have a kidney buyer on-hand in the event BTX hits $5.

Anybody?  Anyone?

Yeah bitcore, like all  other altcoins, is suffering under the bearish bitcoin. When bitcoin is getting strong bitcore and other stong altcoins will follow

BTC gonna suffer a massive heart attack.  BitCore and a few other coins will have to grieve and move on.

I invest in projcet

We are dealing with the Hindenburg Crew but I don’t know, they may surprise.  Smiley

I feel safe with this investment thanks to YOU Vlad2Vlad, You told me you will follow BTX to Alpha Centauri so do I.
However if you feel shaky and like to dump before take off hold my hand, together we are strong.
Most important bud, we are able to ignore all FUD . Smiley
Peace

Haha, thanks.  I do think it may go to $5 but I ain’t crazy to sell.  Just trying to help the risk averse.  Grin

That said, I am the FUD and I really can’t ignore myself.  lol

To Alpha Centauri, hand in hand we go.  Wink

You don’t stop that logic nonsense I’m gonna have you banned.  I’m working over here.   Grin

How you say this is nonsense?

Logic nonsense.

It was an oxymoron.  A funny.

It is still a risky move to sell BTX now. Yes, the USD price can move down, especially if BTC continues to drop. But it can also keep the pricetag around 10, there is a lot of people who are buying below 10. The airdrops are still a valid income, so even if you buy now for 10 and sell in a month for the same price, you still have profit.

Also, a lot of people already sold BTX on this ride and a lot of new people bought. So the new owners are going to wait for price to rise and not sell when price drops a little. Therefore, I am not selling now for this price, i would be afraid to not be able to buy back cheaper.

Stop it, you pumper.

Hey, how much for a hamster?  Hairless.   Grin

U want hamster ? I give you a link,,

How to get merit?

I’m giving you 2 merit points so you won’t be such a noob you just have to promise to stop peddling hamsters on Bitcointalk.  Smiley
