2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best crypto sportsbook for 2021 on: December 30, 2021, 08:53:04 AM
Sportsbet is definitely beyond competition, but if you are, for example, a fan of poker and betting, then you can look towards Betnomi (the guys completely updated the platform and relaunched it a couple of days ago). The same goes for RollBit, just recently they decided to enter the race and occupy a part of the crypto gambling niche (also a reliable platform). But no matter how it was, I personally became imbued with the Sportsbet team to the core and I can’t even imagine that I could use another bookmaker.

By the way ... I want to draw special attention to the fact that Sportsbet covers all transaction costs when withdrawing funds. Tongue
2342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why should Gambling be legalized ? on: December 30, 2021, 08:39:37 AM
Legalization of gambling doesn't look to be good for the country.
Do you have any idea how much money the state loses every day? For many years there have been long-term disputes over the legalization of the gambling business, while this part of the shadow economy is constantly growing (not to mention the fact that if we are talking about physical casinos, then this is one of the main articles of shadow income of law enforcement agencies).

In the legalization of the gambling business, I see only advantages, since such a policy will entail the construction of roads, schools, and less corruption.
The only drawback, I would say, is the increased activity of minors, although, to be honest, in our times, children grow up earlier and earlier with each generation (therefore, hypothetical, you can close your eyes to this, focusing on the advantages of legalization).

I would argue ... especially now that there is so much hype around Haaland (he understands this and I think he will make every effort in the upcoming Europa League matches to raise his own price). The Norwegian received a clear deadline (until the end of February) to decide whether he will stay in his native club or not, and this time will definitely be enough to strengthen his position. Although, if I were the owner or coach of Borussia, I would hint to Erling about his excessive ambitions regarding foreign clubs (and joke about his too large female lips. lol)Cheesy

Borussia Dortmund according to Bild is rumored to give a possibility to Haaland to sign a new contract with them.
They are talking about an offer of 12m/y with a deadline set to the end of February.
This is exactly what I already mentioned earlier.

Let's look realistically at the current state of affairs, because honestly speaking, I'm tired of repeating ... Haaland will not go anywhere from Borussia, because judging by the same news, the management will do everything possible to interrupt any proposal.

Borusia fully covers even those preferences of Haaland that concern the Champions League, and by and large the situation is unlikely to change, since the "Hummeln" have 9 rather easy matches ahead, the results of which will definitely help narrow the gap with Bayern.  Tongue
2346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: December 29, 2021, 10:00:19 PM
It is so unfortunate for Chelsea as they drew with Brighton by 1-1. But this is absolutely Chelsea's fault. Because they couldn't manage to score their second goal. And Brighton had always a silver lining to equalize the score. And the equalizer came very late that Chelsea couldn't even react to it properly. Welbeck saved one point for his team with a nice goal that Mendy couldn't even react to the header.
Brighton is one armored train that no one can stop ...  Undecided

Every second game they play ends in a damn draw, (I was hoping Chelsea led Lukaku to return to the championship race again). Speaking of the Aristocrats, I came across the news that the Chelsea captain, Azpilicueta, will join the ranks of Barcelona's players next summer ... not that it worries me, I just don’t understand who will play in defense if Rudiger, Aspilicueta and Chilwell leave, (this also applies to Werner and Pulisic). Probably, Chelsea in the next transfer window will have to behave VERY aggressively, since without a strong strengthening, Liverpool and City will crush the Aristocrats in the standings.
2347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trust Wallet or TokenPocket? on: December 29, 2021, 09:31:17 PM
Firstly, TrustWallet is a widely used open source wallet so it should be quite secure, although if you are a hardcore skeptic you should know that since Binance bought TrustWallet, the code on the github has ceased to be public. Second, consider storing your staking coins on your hardware wallet (if possible). Last but not least, TrustWallet should fall under the jurisdiction of the Binance Anti-hack Fund, so feel free to fully experience a false sense of security.  Tongue

not sure if coinbase has an upper limit as to how many you can register.
okay I have 2 yubi sticks but only did one.
I will look into doing the second stick right now.
A two second google surfing showed that you can link up to 5 YubiKey tokens to your account.

The only thing I would add to the backup security key is a sealed CSV file + non-combustible paper. Btw, a couple of years ago, I also had a homemade security key on my keychain in one copy (but for a PC) and this gave me a lot of trouble since the password entry option was disabled, (a little nostalgia).

2349  Economy / Lending / Re: I'd like to understand these crypto loans. on: December 29, 2021, 07:22:09 PM
I'll add one more use case too: trust feedback. Loans, like other "business" relations, are subject to trust feedback. While some people use neutral feedback for that, some are still generous with positive feedback.
I confess I do not remember what was the turning point and when the unspoken rule regarding neutral tags in the lending or currency exchange section began to apply, but I think that this happened due to the fact that all lenders are DT in one way or another.

You know perfectly well without me that any forum member has the right to leave positive feedback for any reason, but if the lender does not want the feedback left by him to be perceived with skepticism by others (especially when there is a lot of this kind of feedback), he must abide by these unspoken rules (using neutral feedback as a note of a successful transaction).

To this we can add the fact that the leading creditors of the forum (if I may put it that way) are well aware that in their hands neutral feedback is only a tool that forces others to exercise due diligence. Although I believe that really large loans are an exception, because it is unlikely that any of the lenders would risk their bitcoins if this or that user had not been verified for years.

I would not say better ...  Tongue

If Neutral can do the job, don't use Negative or Positive.

Kiss

2353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk once again throwing shade at bitcoin on: December 28, 2021, 04:59:35 PM
Elon again..
Yeah, I thought about the same ... so if you want, choose any answer from this list.  Tongue

[1] It's because ... [Elon Musk has nothing to blame other than his frivolous behavior on Twitter].
[2] Is Elon fired yet? [I can't wait for the board of directors to show Elon his place, indicating how easy it is to remove him from the CEO position].
[3] Musk faces a lawsuit based on Twitter manipulation [Elon Musk can afford to write another 10к tweets within his budget].

Considering how fast he is expanding his Twitter audience, I'm pretty sure he doesn't care about penalties, (not to mention the fact that penalties against him are unlikely for political reasons). It is likely that a t'marketing agency is behind Elon's account, whose actions simply save billions of dollars in marketing dollars, (organic reach rules) ... or have you forgotten how Musk sent the car into space?

according to kicker.de, fc sevilla is interested in Anthony Martial from manchester united. the frenchman had recently told Ralf Rangnick in a conversation that he wanted to leave the red devils.
according to "Sky Sports", the andalusians prefer a loan until the end of the season without a purchase option. AM contract at man united runs until 2024...
https://www.kicker.de/leiht-sevilla-martial-aus-4000000040903/transfermeldung
This is a good deal for me ... especially since Anthony Martialle has not played a single full match in the last 20 weeks (he was on the field for only 200 minutes).

I am more interested in the situation around Pogba, since if he leaves the Devils, they are unlikely to be able to qualify for a slot in the Champions League.
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 28, 2021, 04:32:36 PM
I could not pass by the huge chances of Leicester winning, and used my free bet on this match

Yeah, I mean the odds are great but it comes with a risk and because it is a free bet so it was actually a great bet lol. Imagine if Leicester win huh, that would have been epic win
Well, depending on what size of the free bet we are talking about ... if this is 1 mbitcoin, then it is not a pity to lose it, but if the size of the free bet is 2 mbitcoins and the total coefficient is more than 20, then I insure such a bet with real money. I don’t remember exactly, but the last time I had something like that (4 won matches out of 5 with a coefficient of 120), as a result, the last match was not in my favor, but at the same time I even won a little due to hedging. So if you really want to win something, then it is better not to bet on luck, but to spend your free bets on those matches that you feel.  Cheesy

I would not say better .... I want to add that very very soon the audience of this thread and the audience of the forum as a whole will be pleasantly surprised, because at the moment the last details are being honed in order to bring one event to a completely different level (and I'm not talking about the YouTube Show).

Forgive me for answering in English, but I'm not Turkish ... but this is the only StarAtlas thread I could find. I was very inspired by reading the documentation of this project, since the genre of space online strategies is very close to me, but what you said is true. I was very disappointed with the current state of affairs ... because apart from high capitalization and NFT items, there is nothing else on their platform that could attract an ordinary player, (no matter what I tried, I didn't manage to become part of the gameplay).  Not that I was worried about the $ 5 spent on registration and network connectivity .... I'm just disappointed.  Undecided

I can understand your concerns & disappointment.
But you have to see big picture. Team never promised that they have published game play with TGE. On the contrary, they always said game will be ready at Q2, 2022!
Let's chill & wait a bit more.

And yes, you can find more about Star Atlas in Turkey than globally. The Turkish community is in a very good position in this regard.
Well, thank you for your kind word ...  just rarely find a really worthwhile project, and the last thing you want to feel is the bitterness of disappointment when the project did not meet your expectations.

As for the Turkish section, I was surprised that a project of this magnitude was actively discussed only in a narrow circle of one local section, (and since I have not seen such threads, I subscribed to notifications)Wink

Yesterday I was in the same position as you, it's good that Antonio was at least available, although in the beginning he was on the bench. In general, 40 points, this is all that I managed to survive from my team, since the sale of any of my players would entail financial costs, (each of them is now several 0.4 m more expensive than when I bought them). Btw. Let me know when you decide to use your hit chip, then I'll jump the train with you.  Cheesy

+ I also found the schedule table to understand when hypothetically there will be double game weeks.

He was trying to get hold of someone to tell them about his mistake. He has been unsuccessful so far. Besides that, someone who is in some way connected to one of the Telegram groups accepting donations advised him that he can create his own campaign and accept donations! Who knows which of those activities are genuine and which ones are for filling some scammer pockets.
This is the first time I hear about this incident ... whatever it was, it seemed to me for some reason that this was not an advertising tab, and that https://blockchair.com should check the published data.

The only thing I would probably care about if I wanted to donate to Assange's support is that I would use a mixer, (in my country the secret services are not very friendly towards this kind of donation, simply adding such non-profit foundations to the register of undesirable organizations).
