2341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Amazon for Bitcoin Payments on: September 09, 2014, 01:52:13 AM

EBay's PayPal Unit to Start Accepting Bitcoin Payments? What the hell? Wow, thanks for sharing
2342  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CryptcoMiner.com - Earn 3%-4.5% Daily from your investment on: September 09, 2014, 01:49:04 AM
Jybrael here, Cryptcominer...requesting payment for my first day of signature campaign work that I did yesterday.

You didn't do any "work", you just leased your signature space to CryptcoMine therefore you cannot "request" any payment, you are owed it as per the terms of agreement listed on their thread.

My payout is due in five hours and seventeen minutes, and I'm expecting 0.002 BTC (2 mBTC)
2343  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin-accepting website gives NINETY-FIVE PERCENT discount on ebooks on: September 09, 2014, 01:32:53 AM
It would be a 100 percent discount, but the 5% is commission for downloading from ThePirateBay

2344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Amazon for Bitcoin Payments on: September 09, 2014, 01:29:26 AM
Amazon Payments is a direct competitor of Bitcoin. They'll never do it as long as we're the competition. That's like asking Microsoft to sell Apple products.

https://payments.amazon.com/home

That's also like expecting Paypal to accept Bitcoin
2345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dawkins: Immoral Not To Abort Down’s Syndrome Child on: September 08, 2014, 08:53:57 PM
I know some people with Down's Syndrome and they are friendly, kind, and caring. It comes down to whether your are pro-abortion or pro-life.

The subject is too massive to talk about. I dont believe that it all comes down to whether if you are pro abortion or pro life. There is a lot to consider. How about if both parents die, how will the child live? He couldnt get a job or what. There is a lot to consider.

That's fallacious

2346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Amazon for Bitcoin Payments on: September 08, 2014, 08:48:40 PM
I don't see Amazon integrating it because most Bitcoin users prefer purchasing Gift Cards from their BTC, then spending those gift cards on Amazon instead.

One such service is "Giftcard BTC"
2347  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Consequences of high minimum wages: Automated ordering kiosks on: September 08, 2014, 08:12:37 PM
I'm looking forward to more automation in the fast food industry. Less mistakes with your orders. Faster. More sanitary.

Not to mention, room for some "fun", especially if the machines are linked to a server Cheesy

they probably don't have the option to pay in bitcoin!

Yes Sad
2349  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American journalist James Foley reportedly beheaded by ISIS on: September 08, 2014, 06:00:12 PM
Our media won't focus on those we call our allies, the Middle Eastern countries (I'm not going to name any to steer clear of misinterpretation and controversy!) who behead immigrants for smoking weed

I think the purpose of the mainstream media to focus on just this video is to make this another 9/11, another excuse to go to war so the buddies who made massive profits because of the Iraq war can once again find more ways to fill their pockets, using the puppet Obama as a middle man.

We can knock 'em back into the stone age and make them start all over again. Like an ant farm. Maybe at some point and with some generation, they will get the clue.

I smell "White man's burden"
2350  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Consequences of high minimum wages: Automated ordering kiosks on: September 08, 2014, 05:56:23 PM
I don't understand why you guys consider automated ordering a bad thing

This will ensure that useless jobs, like the fast food counter guys, are gotten rid of and replaced with machines, which would be more effective. This won't kill jobs, it will only replace them with newer, better ones. Maintenance of those machines isn't really free guys, someone has to fix it when it's down.
2351  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans Getting Poorer on: September 08, 2014, 05:52:44 PM
Inflation is stealing your wealth. Banks take away your money while you sleep simply by printing more.

That problem can be solved by using Bitcoin!  Grin
2352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reason Why Bitcoin is better than Paypal on: September 08, 2014, 05:49:23 PM
Don't freeze account, don't need documents, no chargebacks and anonymous.

Yes sir!

And for those reasons, Paypal is afraid of Bitcoin integration, their policy towards virtual goods is just an excuse to bully users that use Paypal to purchase Bitcoins.

But of course, Paypal's gonna fade with age, Bitcoin might too, but waaaaaaaaaay after Paypal does, and only to be replaced by other virtual currencies
2353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Scamming Business is Booming! on: September 08, 2014, 05:47:27 PM
In an ideal world where free market capitalism is the way of life, scammers will always have an advantage over the economy unless there is also free speech, which would prevent scammers from successful business. Precaution is essential in the Bitcoin world.
2354  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying bitcointalk users on: September 08, 2014, 05:45:16 PM
You shouldn't be able to sell your account on here!

That's an excellent suggestion, but most of us here at Bitcointalk would be believers in free trade (Duh!) and how regulations would fail to stop vendors from selling their accounts anyway
2355  Economy / Services / Re: Rent Luxury and Exotic Cars with BTC on: September 08, 2014, 05:32:58 PM
And soon when the market is booming it will be my turn lol.

One can only hope

Well too late buddy, Facebook already has "pay to promote" now

 Cry Cry Cry Cry

I own a page and they always tell me, "want more likes? Click here" or "Boost post", which leads you to their page where you can buy likes -.-

or treat you out to a fancy dinner (if you are married or against strip clubs) (no homo)

That's quite homophobic
