I don't know what's the problem with Cryptsy but everytime I tried to withdraw I haven't had any problems... Yeah ok, if you send some coins you will need to wait a lot of time for them to be available on Cryptsy. It´s a very slow ptocess, other than that, can't say I had issues with them.

Can we reset the Bitcoin mining process to redistribute wealth?
The idea of Bitcoin where anyone could mine and support the network of course died with ASIC technology.
Is this great concept of Bitcoin just dead forever?
Personally I would prefer every single person (or at least 1 out of 10) would own a device that supported this technology we are using to determine one's wealth/control/power/influence.
But not for profit and every person who wanted to be part of the network owned an equal share.
Only in a perfect world right?
Well in the end of Bitcoin if it doesn't change, perhaps the internet Gods (Google, Yahoo & Bing) will unite to create solar powered satellite Bitcoin miners spread all over.
To own Bitcoin just own the most computing power. Well I guess at least the people we will trust our money now should be tech savvy right?
Banks are slow and outdated, I still cry when I see someone write out a check.
At this point, you can't really reset the Bitcoin network. There's already a lot of investment made in this network. If you want to mine from the beginning you might as well start your own coin. |

litecoin is pretty useless, how many users does it have in the real world?
Litecoin is useful and many people use it. It is one of the favourite trading digital currency for Chinese traders and it has a lot of volume in some Chinese exchanges. Besides, it offers some solutions for some of the bitcoin protocol problems. |

It looks like the worst scam coin i ever saw, but i need strong arguments when discussing with my friends who dont know anything about crypto and think they will get rich with this.

Like all investments and all new companies, they tend to initially lose value. However, its value is bound to increase if the company or the project show some real potential. Much like bitcoin, if ethereum sees some real adoption it may probably rise in value in the long run.

Now, there is greater need for their offering: side chains. Side chains which they control, and they charge fees to use. This is just the start. There will be many, many more features of 'advanced systems' pushed out of the core, pushed away from 'free', and controlled by profiteers. Why did everyone listen to Blockstream when they so vigorously fought 8MB? now everyone gets to pay them fees!!! With 8MB blocks, no extra fees! Bitcoin is fucked now. Hell... this can't be happening. It seems we will have a new struggle in our hands. If this so happens it can be the beginning of Bitcoin's demise. |
