Actually, the more I think about it, they would have to have a full hands off of recording anything at all regarding transactions past what they are dealing with directly with people.  Other than that, I don't think they need to keep records (but then again, that is what people want I'm sure, records)

I'd trust 'em.

Just have to say, I am having (or have had) some issues with my account, email exchange has been well, even if my issue does not get resolved for whatever reason, I like the way things are being handled, especially with the extra people who have to be emailing or messaging.
2347  Other / Meta / Re: How do you ignore users? on: June 21, 2011, 02:58:38 AM
When they are talking to you, start whistling out loud like you can't hear them, they will walk away.
2348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Notice to Bitcoin newbies. Free .001 BTC from Bitcoin Faucet on: June 21, 2011, 02:57:06 AM
It started me out, nice service, and the forced use of a Google thing is at least something to slow abuse.

2351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cracking the passwords: Don't blame the MtGox, USERS ARE STUPID on: June 20, 2011, 11:37:19 PM
I wrote a small tutorial to make very strong passwords and very easy to remember them:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=19913.msg248514#msg248514

But still lazy people will be lazy enough to not even try to read it.
I know I read it earlier.  But after re-reading and seeing the influx of users and blah blah, it should be a damn sticky and people shouldn't be allowed to reply to it unless they add content to it.
2352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tradehill question on: June 20, 2011, 11:00:27 PM
Yes, of course you would have to wait until is officially through.  I didn't google this answer or anything, just going by logic (so I may be wrong).
2353  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cracking the passwords: Don't blame the MtGox, USERS ARE STUPID on: June 20, 2011, 10:55:57 PM
Users, while stupid, are not as stupid as systems that allow you to put in a user name as the password.  I thought that was not allowed 'these days'
2354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mtgox_client..some info on: June 20, 2011, 10:34:20 PM
someone plz explain this post to me , i don't understand it Smiley

That is a lot of information there.  And there are people out there that can collaborate all given info.

I'm curious as to whether or not publicly outing whoever this is, is the right course, but I decided to respond before I finished reading so I have no clue.

All I know is, this dude with 1 post just blurted a lot of stuff, not to find out if it is shit or not.
2355  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dwolla account verification call on: June 20, 2011, 10:30:56 PM
Weird. If they had your phone number, they could also get your username and password, so it might have been a genuine call from Dwolla,
lol what?

If they had your phone number, they could also get your username and password, which to mean is the reason why it screams "this is not a call from Dwolla"

They verify the information you have by cross referencing it with all other information you give them.

I swear rule number one for most places is "we will never call or email you asking you for your password"
2356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EFF donations and the Bitcoin Faucet on: June 20, 2011, 09:54:06 PM
I like the idea of the faucet only pours based on a percentage of what is left at any given time (maybe a daily check or something).   Keeps it less worthwhile for hackers, but ALWAYS something nice for the people with no coin Smiley
2357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would some nice gentleman send me a tiny amount so I can check my client works? on: June 20, 2011, 09:52:03 PM
This has to be one of the better phishing for free coins threads I have personally seen.
2358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEWBS WANTED on: June 20, 2011, 09:51:23 PM
Before reading what I'm about to write, know it is coming from the heart.  You obviously want this site to succeed, whatever your motivations are, so I am going to type this out earnestly ....

visually, you can't have legitimacy / trust if your site looks like a hobo coming at me for change.
2359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Make some easy bitcoins on: June 20, 2011, 09:48:13 PM
Edit: because of lack of popularity, I'm shutting this down, any more bitcoins received at that address will be counted as a donation towards me.

haha, this is so amusing to me.  I still have no clue what is going on, yet for some reason, I don't think this guy is in the wrong because he shut it down before being caught.
