2341  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: July 02, 2022, 12:33:44 PM
So the gambling sites that have survived until now are those that already have a new system and also large loyal users such as stake, roobet, 1xbit, primedice and betfury.
It doesn't necessarily have to be new gambling sites, letting hundreds and thousands of dollars sit on gambling sites poses a big risk because you are giving them liquidity, the moment you decide to withdraw them out may indirectly or directly make them broke and there could be a delay in your withdrawals when you want to move them to your personal wallets.
By the way, I see a list of some gambling sites in your comments, why did you include 1xbit despite the plenty threads of accusations that have been reported here, maybe you should check again.

Edit: It is obvious the answer lies in your campaign.  Cheesy
it seems you misunderstood my comment, I only said the gambling sites that survived to this day because it has loyal users and also large liquidity (sorry if I repeat my comment again) and everything I mentioned is according to data Grin

I still remind you all to avoid new gambling sites.

Bull$h!t you just said, what data is that? Where is the data? I can compile up to 10 threads that 1xbit has scammed customers, don't sugar coat your statement because you are also a part of them( A friend who hides a thief is also a thief), you are been paid from the money they have scammed from innocent players and you are boasting that they have liquidity yet they couldn't settle all accusation label against them, liquidity my foot.  Grin

Help by documenting Bitcointalk.org on YouTube and other websites.
Some forum members have personal websites and YouTube channels. Documenting educational, economic, and technical posts made or created by forum users on your respective websites, YouTube channels, and so on will help build the forum's reputation and make the forum home for anyone who wants to learn and share knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency-related issues.

I'm more interested in this one. I've seen some guys go to great lengths to create personal websites with their own domain to share bitcoin information because the Moderators every once in a while delete posts or move them to archival where they may not get views, I've seen NotAtether with one incredible one and there is this particular one where you can estimate the sats you will be paying when making transactions to p2pkh, P2sh, and Native segwits.
There is this gentleman that manages the forum activities and events on his Youtube channel in order to reach out to people, such as the voting that took place earlier this year, and also, the bitcoin wiki has been an outstanding support medium for the forum so far.

You blur your image, can you do the same for those kids? They are still under their parents and I don't think you have the permission to publish their faces on the internet, Please blur it for their own privacy too.
Op, has blured the image and it's left for you to do yours. Remember you quoted the image, kindly edit your comment and delete the image you were referring to. Thanks

I received bot notification some days ago by Smartvirus but something came up and I forgot to modify the post. I shouldn't have quote the image since I was asking for a change but better late than never, I have edited the post and deleted the quote message. Thanks for reminding me again.
2346  Economy / Economics / Re: Thanks to stable coins such us usdt btc not needed to correlate with real econom on: July 01, 2022, 05:42:55 PM
Dude, stablecoins (at least the legitimate ones like USDT and USDC) are literally just typical fiat money, just in a tokenized state. There's literally nothing special about stablecoins to the point that it has powers to pump up markets like you're describing.

It is fiat and its not more likely been created by wall street and whales to have infinity all most infinity ammount of fiat kind of currency.

Who said that stablecoins doesn't have Catel, didn't you watch some educative post by Guy on UST collapse? USDT has also been dragged in the past with Bitfinex market manipulation.
There is nothing special about stablecoins, just a preserve of value which you can get serve what you don't expect like depeg from dollar value because they are not fully backed, USDC and BUSD haven't had any issue but still, there is nothing special about them than just a Fiat value.
2347  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 8 Mistake People Make When Investing In Crypto on: July 01, 2022, 05:16:39 PM
There are always lessons to learn in crypto because people who want to make quick money always make mistakes and we continue to learn from them, even as a bitcoin Maxis, you will sometimes make mistakes that you may not realise on time but they make us even stronger and wiser in making future decisions.

Yes, you may simply find a terrific technique to sell bitcoins for yourself right now. I use https://jet-bot.com/blog/ as a resource for this; you can look at it and study the details. This, for instance, was really helpful to me because it would be obvious to you how to sell or acquire cryptocurrency. It was quite helpful, and I was pleased with the service.

I have just gone through the website you are shilling, nice way of including a promotional website into a nice discussion, the website is having good faces of the team, and they have the potential of making good sales in their shit coin, what I was so interested in was the part they said they are partners of Binance. Nice one comrade!  Wink
2348  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: July 01, 2022, 05:12:29 PM
Investing is Widespread now in the Society such that the Inability of not Investing, is Paving a room for not Benefitting from the Outcome.
And Right now Investing in Crypto is a yardstick of measurement and has created an opportunity that's reliable and trusted..
But I really can't tell how thus Investing in The Economy will help one's Country.

Just look at it way back to the 90s, and you will understand what it means to have invested in those times to today, investments are not limited to just a country, its applicable to any living being on this earth because relying on your steady income alone wouldn't be the same value in coming years. Look at the cost price of goods and how things have double in a short period of time, how do you think people can cope if they don't put their money in something that will preserve their value with all the shenanigans? El Salvador is investing in Bitcoin with any opportunity he has because they see value in it, other countries will soon follow or maybe they are buying already but haven't made it public.
2349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You can avoid most scams by simply keeping your private key/seed to yourself on: July 01, 2022, 05:00:59 PM
There is recent rpc scam where user sees a popup (when using particular hijacked rpc) and asks user to go to scammy site to enter seed phrase.

You can read about it here: https://nitter.net/officer_cia/status/1542829400143568897

You can avoid most of such scam attempts by simply keeping your wallet's private key and seed phrase to yourself.

All this can be avoided when you choose a hardware wallet over a hot wallet, you are always at the edge of any security bridge and a single crack will make you lose all you have. Seed phrases are supposed to be cast on metal sheets, more often than not, a secure passphrase should be concatenated as an additional seed extension to secure it more appropriately.
Don't keep your coins on any exchange or third party centralized organization like lending, always remember that your keys are your coins, if you don't have them, just know that you have no authorization to them until you make a request for withdrawals.
2350  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: July 01, 2022, 12:38:25 AM
In other words, OP is just shilling the 1Xbit. There's no need for any advice.

The feedback on the site's forum representative and overall feedback here is already enough.

Why even create a separate thread about this. Simply, OP is trying to turn around things about 1xbit which is not possible.

Well, we can't justify the OP unless he is backing them which no one has pointed out but time will tell, the story doesn't looks like one but I believe the DT guys are watching, any single appreciative words about them will lead the account to be tagged.
What is more entertaining is that 1xbit campaigners are recommending an alternative after everything he has written, they don't know that they are no longer valid in this forum, you can't scam and still be parambulating around the surrounding. If not that scam is not moderated on the forum, I will be more than happy to see anything related to 1xbit deleted.
2351  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rocketpot.io refusing to pay out 170k win on: June 30, 2022, 09:28:18 PM
Its always becomes a headache when users try to withdraw winnings that is associated with bonus. You said you are a VIP player, that means this is not your first time playing there, other promotions and bonuses would have been done in the past, did you participate in any of them? Have you won any slot with a bonus and you were denied?
This will likely end up unsolved, some dirty casino use privacy policy to evade payment to users when it's their time to withdraw.
I hope you get this solve, this is a life changing money.

I feel like you didn't say anything in your reply.
2352  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 30, 2022, 04:07:48 AM
Even if they do such thing about boycotting but wont really be still enough on stopping the war yet we do know that this isnt only the industry on where they do get revenue from.

Even though we as we all go against such act of engaging war on other countries, we must consider that the ongoing war is not as a result of the people's aggression on Ukraine but rather a decision from their president, yet the my never understand his methods of rulership and not leadership, Putin is to be blame here because he has the final say and not the people to either stop or end the lingering war.

Exactly, this is political implications of leaders and there decision to followers who are just struggling to feed their children and live a happy life.
No matter what we do here, either stop been friendly, stop business within ourselves wouldn't make this guy's change their mind as it make them look powerless in the eye of other countries especially Russia, they don't want to be seen as a minor. The past shall becomes the absence and a new world would come, we shouldn't use hate with one another, I just wish if the Armies would back out and let the leaders fight there self instead putting two families in death rope to fight there war.
2353  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: June 29, 2022, 06:05:19 PM
Both of them. Having a great name is what it's going to attract gamblers to your site, but you won't achieve anything if you have great marketing and perfect visual aids but your site is shit or doesn't work. So basically you need to get that balance.

What is the essence of marketing without good sites in the first place? I think for you to succeed in marketing and promotion, you need a good functioning website to achieve that, you need fast banners for the current promotions for customers to be able to swing them left and right without any difficulties.
If you have a good foundation, extensive marketing and an excellent reputation but a bad website, that is as good as making a bad reputation because customers would find it hard to deposit and withdraw and in the case of going offline, that's just as good as a dead place for people to come and play.
2354  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: June 29, 2022, 05:31:35 PM
Currently there are many trusted gambling sites that you can play on but you should not play on new gambling sites and do not have large backup funds. In the gambling business, many problems are often found, such as operators who cheat and also users who cheat (manipulating bonuses, promotions, etc.).

2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: June 29, 2022, 03:38:52 AM
I was confused at first with the headline but it should have been signature manager, bounty manager doesn't necessarily need to be a signature manager as one is paid in Altcoins while the second is paid in bitcoin only which can be found on service board.
This depends on what the Casino is trying to achieve but remember that reputation is the out most priority here, if you don't have it, no campaign manager will want to work with you because there is no point in promoting your casino that doesn't pay users. If your casino is well known for good payout, partnership with a manager should be a bonus marketing for the company.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 29, 2022, 03:16:37 AM
I've been thinking to myself about this question, as I never imagined this situation.
I don't know, maybe yes but maybe not, I believe that each gambler thinks differently about this great devaluation that we are currently having.

I imagine it doesn't affect so much, because there is a great chance that gamblers will still act even with this situation we are currently having.

I think bitcoin dump itself has a great impact other than players value, the dump affect even gambling activities but not really the value though in the user side whose value isn't tide to bitcoin on deposit, anyone who is willing to play can buy and sent to exchange but even the house itself do suffer this loss as a result of dump because they do keep their reserves in bitcoin.
Bitcoin dump do affect gambling activities because as the price continues to crash further, so do the trend and talk becomes less and less but looking at it vividly, the best time to gamble is now, you will earn more btc pending till another bull run, that will make you a real gambler and investor.
2357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 29, 2022, 02:34:58 AM
The fact that he is sued, then there's a ground that he committed a crime.

It was mistakenly sent to his account but he did not tell the bank about that, he himself is aware that the money is not his, so he has to report it to the bank just to be safe. What if for example the amount of money wrongfully sent to his account is link to illegal transactions, and he spent the money, so he might be charge to be connected with the drug transactions, so the morale of the news here is we should be responsible, we should not be greedy.

He was guilty for using money that wasn't his in the first place, I mean his guilty consciousness didn't tell him that you can't just have money out of no where.
This same scenario ones happen to a friend but this was not a palliative, it was mistakenly deposited into his account and he wanted to make a smart move by transferring the amount into his second account so that the banks wouldn't notice since he didn't expect money from anyone and he never sent account details to any person, so literally he wasn't expecting money in the account. He was shocked when the bank visited his family house with a police after series of emails to return the money to the bank which he refused and negative was written on his account meaning he was owning the bank. The money was later return and case was closed.

The man should have question the source of the money but I think was waiting for an opportunity to gamble which the fund acted as catalyst for him.
2358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on how I controlled my Gambling addiction. on: June 29, 2022, 02:15:30 AM
To quit an addiction, it start from the mind and if your body is willing to let go with the limit you set for it otherwise, the above you highlighted over there might just  be a time waste and you wouldn't know when you start gambling again.
For example, you cut ties with gambling shops isn't enough, we have gambling casinos that you can now access via phones and laptop and do you know what, you don't need to browse through to see them, you may just be surfing through your phone and before you knew it, and adds may just pop up and redirect you to a gambling bet which may even want to offer you to a 300% bonus on first deposit, if you're not prepare with your mind that you are letting go of gambling, you will always one way or another go back to it.
2359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: June 29, 2022, 02:02:20 AM
I recall asking a similar question some weeks back that if there was a place where a gambler could practice his skills to mitigate loss and have more exposure to casino games but the reply I had was that it was going to be expensive for gambling house to maintain them for free as this may become a more capable expenditure.
If we are to go by those apps, you wouldn't have much experience as the games may be limited and moreover, what's the purpose of playing if you are not playing to have the money, you wouldn't have this zeal and passion for that, it will just look as if you are playing a normal game on your mobile phone.
2360  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 28, 2022, 01:36:44 PM

Not all the times if they  do ask out for some verification do pertains about verifying about the age of a certain big winner which some of them are just trying to get hold and trying not to give out such win which is

 That's right,
so if it is about age they let so childs under the age of majority put money by playing until they win ??
Age play a major role for casino to demand for KYC from a player, most of the regulatory compliance casinos must comply with the under-age gambling prohibition law that state that one must be above 🔞 to gamble. But aside from that money laundering is another factor that motivates casino sites to demand KYC. So if one is not ready to face all this kyc demand you have to limit yourself to playing only in casinos that do not demand identity verification.

As much as I do see this Anti-money laundering fighting and underage restriction, I feel it is just a measure for those who are not too exposed to the internet because KYC can be manipulated, People buy these documents online to do whatever they need to do online. We have also seen where the platform shifted from its purpose and been used for money laundering instead of users themselves and in return, they get a share from the people they offered such services, they wouldn't say it out to the public but codedly happens inside.
