2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 04, 2022, 11:33:03 PM

NLEX are trying their best to convince KJ McDaniels to finish the conference. Even they are surely aware of what might happening to McDaniels, they want to take a shot if the import will change his mind. Unfortunately, looks like McDaniels is already 100% decided to end his NLEX tenure.

For other news, after Blackwater Elites, the Terrafirma DYIP is now also officially out of the playoffs contention. I hope they will have a good run next conference for something new and their most improved gunners won't be traded to a top tier team.

with that kind of percentages better to keep attacking the basket and try to make an and 1 or make a strong dunk instead of keep throwing the ball outside, it's not good to see him

He does that but in the end, he was still criticized. Changing gears, he will attack the basket then do assist, he will still criticized. There's no thing he can do to impress the critics because the hate towards him is strong. He is inconsistent and there's no doubt about that. His confidence now gone because there are lots of eyes staring at him for every mistakes he will do.

it's not good to see him playing more minutes considering that his performances is not adding any value to the team, let other role players to take that minutes and try

Blame the coach on that matter. There are 2 sides that I see why he was still giving more minutes:

a) to try to give him the confidence even on a worst shooting night
b) to try to give him the chance to silence the critics

But at some point, there's a time that Westbrook is being benched out especially in the last minutes of the regulations.
2343  Local / Pilipinas / Re: RUSSIA vs UKRAINE - EPEKTO SA PILIPINAS on: March 03, 2022, 11:40:24 PM
We are already dealing sa mataas na presyo nga gasolina kahit di pa nagsisimula tong Russian invasion.

Tingnan natin ano mangyayari dun sa Economic Meeting kailan lang involving the President and his cabinet staffs on how to solve the issue of oil price hike which is in the first place, di naman natin kontrol.

Some things they are looking at is to revised*** or review the Oil Deregulation Law but since it's election period sabi ng ilang Senators the debates may instead be influenced by politics

Mapapamura ka na lang e.

I am The Sandbox 10k is it going to recover?? i am already 50% LOSE.  help!

Welcome to that experience. It's usual in the world of crypto.

Moving forward to your question, is Sandbox will get on their feet? Likely yes but remember that all what you read here is speculation and prediction. What do you think of the project? What other lurkers and followers think about the future? Just keep involved.

No one can help you but yourself. No one here will know the future of Sandbox or whatever project you are involved with.
2345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world of sport reacts to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on: March 03, 2022, 10:50:38 PM
I think this is extremely unfair to athletes and sports teams from Russia. This country has many good athletes, for example, the hero of the last Olympics in Beijing, the skier Bolshunov. I think that such an exclusion of such a large country from all international competitions does great harm to all sports in the world. And many champions, with the exclusion of applicants from Russia, will themselves know that they may not be the best in the world in their sport. Especially if they know their Russian opponent, who was simply not allowed to compete.

I hope this kind of discrimination doesn't last too long.

I have to disagree with the discrimination part. It's not what happening.

Let's take that as a form of condemning Russian actions without the act of military actions. Any ways to pressure Russia, or should I say, Putin itself, is necessary as even his soldiers don't want to participate to the invasion, they are bound to follow Putin regardless of their stand.

As also mentioned on my early post here, it's also to protect Russian athletes from a possible violence from the fans (maybe while in game) that don't truly understand the situation because of their "hate" towards Putin action. It's good to isolate those athletes for their safety.

Able to got a good odds last night between Alaska Aces and Phoenix Fuelmasters on a Live Bet.

It's a good thing that Alaska able to keep up with the Phoenix during 3Q and scores are almost close resulting for the latter to have an over @2 odds to win the game. Just got worried a bit that after Phoenix almost got lead by 15 in the 4Q, Alaska managed to make a rally later on.

2347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 02, 2022, 11:59:11 PM
He will surely prepare and do unusual drills to add up to his stamina. His training camps know that Spence is another tough
opponent and they will do more reviews to study any available leads to have that chance of winning.

In the first place, Ugas won't ask WBA several times if he won't prepared to fight Spence Jr. Since his request was being granted, it's like a big opportunity that comes to him that's why he was expected to be more serious on defeating Spence Jr. as part of his target to unified all the belts at 147lbs.

A tough goal to achieve honestly knowing the strength of Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford but it doesn't mean he will fail surely.

I hope even at the event of him losing the fight, if ever, he will give Spence Jr. a tough fight or much better, if he wins the fight.

It would be stupid if Cleveland will still sign Lebron, now that they are doing betting, for sure they won't let Lebron ruin their chemistry.

Lebron was the franchise player of Cleveland, he left and came back, and then he left again.. so I don't think he still deserves a 3rd chance.
I don't know but I have a feeling that Lebron will stay with the Lakers and will retire in Laker uniform.

Regardless if LeBron is not on his prime anymore, or the team is currently doing good, it's not the basis why Cleveland Cavaliers will still agree to have LeBron James back. They highly recognized LBJ to the point that all deep and strong hate from this man before now turned into love. And just because of that reason you  have mentioned, I found out it out of the context to prevent him from being signed with the team.

LeBron James is almost close to retirement. The Cavaliers will surely want him to return and retired there with his remaining season regardless if Bron will destroy the chemistry of the team as others think. It's a great tribute.

However, there's no sign yet that LeBron will leave the Lakers for now. He's still competitive and will do his best to help the Lakers.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 02, 2022, 11:47:18 PM
The possible undercard for this match will involve these boxers;

a) Former super WBA Middleweight Champion Rocky Fielding
b) The rising stars of Liverpool-born brothers Peter and Joe McGrail,
c) Will Cawley (Flyweight)
d) Luke McCormack (Light-welterweight)

I can't find the source for the official undercard list but at least we are aware of who will join the big night of these fight between Casimero and Butler.

2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 02, 2022, 11:32:24 PM
Have read that WBA won't sanction because of Bivol being a Russian.

If that's the case then it seems the first fight of Canelo in his moving up journey will be just an ordinary fight since no title will be at stake. In other words, a waste of time on his followed timeline of future opponents and the only good reward he will get on his fight is the big money. If only they anticipate, which seems impossible, Canelo's camp can instead shift gears and fight another boxer.

Well, since it's about a couple of months to go there might be changes and possibly, will sanction as a title fight, where it supposed to be.
2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 02, 2022, 11:21:38 PM

That was an intense game last night between Magnolia and Meralco.

Let's not just take a look the stat sheets by numbers where Harris has 30 points, Bishop is much less, Harris has more rebounds, Bishop has less etc. If you were watch the game live you won't take a look at stats but the performance they have shown especially when Meralco Bolts managed to cut down the lead with that two consecutive clutch shots by Maliksi that cut the lead of Magnolia on the dying seconds. Both team's exchange of shots is entertaining!

I also don't like the Meralco defense where they put Hodge on Harris. He is overpowered by the import. If there's really no choice, they should give Hodge a help defense instead as he's clearly being eaten alive by Harris on the paint. Harris can dominate the paint with 1-2 defenders that's why Hodge can't contain him by solo.

Overall, that was the intensity of the game we like to watched.
2352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever subscribe to any tipser giving sports betting premium picks? on: March 02, 2022, 11:05:22 PM
When I was still new to sports betting, I saw a lot of posts from a company or individual offering their premium pick if you will subscribe to them. The subscription fee defers, some are cheap while some offer a high subscription but they all promise the same thing, "long-term profitability".

So the question here is, does anybody here actually subscribe to any tipster who gives sports betting premium picks, and how much is did you pay?

What was the experience, is it profitable or do you feel you got scammed?

A nice topic. Personally, I don't subscribe to this program by those "tipsters" but I have been in several Telegram groups of those since there are free picks provided them as a proof. But sometimes their free picks are not backed up by a real bet slip. It's like simply they will just post their picks. Therefore if it's a win, it's already recorded as a win on their prediction stats which is not good for me since it should be associated with valid bet slip.

Moving forward, as a sports bettor for long and involved in sports at my young age, I don't really needs these tips especially in the sports or leagues that I have knowledge on. I'm just sticking with my main forte instead of jumping to betting on other leagues which I'm not familiar.
2353  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world of sport reacts to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on: March 02, 2022, 10:53:16 PM

It seems unethical for me to just ban Russian players to participate because of an on-going invasion of their country against Ukraine. Like I said in other thread, it seems that the Russian action is not totally the country's fight but for just the sake of their leader's ego. Not all Russians wants this conflict. Putin just hit hard with his ego that's why straight from his air-conditioned room, he is just providing some commands.

However, just come to think of it. The whole world, most of the countries, are condemning the attack of Russia to Ukraine resulting in some "hate"t o other people's view towards Russia. With this ban of Russian players, that's make sure that no one would possibly physically hurt the athletes from those fans who are watching live on their games as we don't know what other people thinks about Russia currently. The safety of these players should be prioritized in the first place.
2354  Local / Pilipinas / Re: RUSSIA vs UKRAINE - EPEKTO SA PILIPINAS on: March 02, 2022, 10:42:15 PM
Sa tingin ko hindi naman gaano ta taas ang bilihin at presyo ng gasolina kapag hindi e impose ng US ang economic sanctions that deals with the energy such as crude oil and gas in Russia.

We are already dealing sa mataas na presyo nga gasolina kahit di pa nagsisimula tong Russian invasion. 2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 02, 2022, 12:00:06 AM
I also think that they will almost completely rebuild the team because the current roster is clearly a failed experiment of the Lakers' management. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if they decide to trade Davis. There is no doubt that he is a great player, but he is too prone to injury. As a result, AD is not helpful enough to the team because he misses a lot of games for the second season in a row.

There's no experiment happened. It's just that high expectations are built prior to the opening of NBA Season because of the "big names" here which are mostly now out of their prime and can be considered as hitting the "veteran period" already.

Now that they now see the result, I'm sure Lakers already have a plan in the post-season in the so-called "rebuilding".

Trading Anthony Davis should be considered too. He's good overall but the Lakers didn't utilize him well because of him being an injury-prone at a young age.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 01, 2022, 11:56:14 PM
Does he really changed up his behavior? Maybe.. its true that i havent recently seeing that he do make out some trashtalks to provoke whether on his upcoming opponent or neither Inoue.

We can assume that he was just told not to do so or might be, he thinks that if only he's not like that, there will be no problem that happened last December where he failed to show up in the weigh-in because of his viral condition.

Anyhow, trash talk or hitting the opponent with some offensive words is not really necessary.

They can do the talking on the ring, not in exchange of words in the public.

Major blow for NLEX as import KJ McDaniels bound for home

This news was yesterday and I thought someone already shared it here.

Moving forward, I even posted before that I'm looking forward to NLEX being in the Finals of this conference because of KJ McDaniels' monster performance since the start. And now something unexpected happened as McDaniels will now leave the team for personal matters. He will last play against Ginebra on Friday.

I hope that NLEX will be able to find a good replacement as I really like new faces at the Finals of this conference.
2358  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 01, 2022, 11:31:13 PM
Too bad to see how devastating if the FUDs hit the market before but for now, people are actually had learned already and they become more hesitant upon hearing them. We are still surrounded by these things, fake news, and market manipulations but to look at how they respond to this, they remain calm and that is how to see the market never went down too fast, instead it stays calm and still healthy.

It is really possible to have recoveries this month, not that strong but I feel it.

What do you guys think about it?

I don't think so. If FUD's are not effective, we shouldn't see pullbacks or something. And just to add, it's not about the FUD's totally but other people know how to handle the situation. For example, why continue to hold if there's big anticipation of a much lower price later on. It's something that others won't miss a chance because aside from taking profit, they will have a chance to buy more once the dip happened. And the cycle goes on.

Generally, FUDs are temporary and people should not treat it as a negative thing in the market. Instead, turned it to our advantage.
2359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 28, 2022, 11:39:04 PM
Since they don't have a pretty face like Ryan Garcia, their record should be perfect and they need to beat every strong boxer throughout their career if they wanted to be known in the whole world like Manny Pacquiao.

WTF haha. Is this a counter compliment for them? Grin

Seriously, that's always the goal, to continue winning and be consistent with it.

After Manny Pacquiao, we are always hoping that there's always someone who will step up and continue the legacy of the dominance of PH boxers. Hoping for another big title match that involves a PH boxer and the close one for that to happened is Casimero vs Inoue in the future.
2360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the war on: February 28, 2022, 11:30:27 PM
Some sites let us bet on politics, I remember some years ago I win an x5 when trump won as president of the United States and that was my last bet on politics, but now I was curious if there are sites to bet in the current war.

After searching I only find this site to bet in the current conflict:
https://futuur.com/q/149986/will-russia-take-kiev-by-force-by-the-end-of-2022

I don't feel is ethical to bet in a conflict like this and I will not, but I want to discuss the topic, what does the community think about this kind of bet.

Even from my gambling perspective side, I don't see myself betting on that kind of situation.

Innocent lives are getting killed every day with that bullsh*t attack wherein it's not totally about between country's war*** but instead more on leader's ego which is just instructing commands on their airconditioned room. Some might contradict me here since technically, I'm not a Russian or Ukrainian but we can take this to the Politics section for a much deeper debate.

Moving forward, there's no way I will bet on this. Because of that war, fuel price pumped here (which actually already pumped even prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine) and as a person who uses a car daily for work-related trips, I'm now seeing the big effect on it.
