2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: November 08, 2019, 04:54:54 PM
superstition Undecided I don't believe that at all, since I was little I didn't believe in superstition
I still remember when my little friends bought bracelets, necklaces or rings to smooth the test scores
I didn't care what they did, but my exam scores were higher than theirs
I don't believe in superstition, I only believe in luck, experience, and hard work.
Exactly! This kind of situation does happen also to me where people around me do have those kind of charms on everything they do tend to do.

In the end they do still have the same outcome which is not really good compared to mine.Believing too much into these things aren't really that nice
since you would rely and being confident on being had of it but you forgot to do hardwork instead.
I honestly do get so pissed up whenever I see people who hold onto such believes especially in a casino center. I saw someone like that some few days back in a casino center. He came with some charms and wore a red cloth and he told everyone he would go home with a lot of money because he came prepared but it was a big shame at the end of the game, The guy left there broke, he lost terribly.

I am not someone that gets so carried away with all these superstitions of a thing because I don’t believe in superstition, I never have and never will and the reason is simple, just like the name, it disappoints and it is not really. Believe any kind of superstition at your own peril.

Why would anyone change their name in middle of one of the most important part of the road map, this is an amateur marketing move that would eventually lead to demise of this website for sure.

If you are not sure about your name you change it back in the day not after over a year of working hard to make a name for yourself. Website will lose a lot of people because people will feel unease at a place they have never played before compared to a place they played for a whole year.

I honestly think marketing of this website is the worst part of this website, everything else from coding to design to whatever is perfect but the marketing is soooooooo bad that I have never seen a website with such horrible marketing make it so big, the marketing team needs to thank developer team every single morning before they both start their work. No, I am not joking, marketing team should all get together, go to developer teams room, thank each and individual developer and then the shift should start for everyone.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Ethereum-based gambling sites? on: November 03, 2019, 12:12:52 PM
Generally I have used only very few gambling sites which are known by maximum people. So tried to findout the best Ethereum based Gambling site on google. But all time google answer me some sites which supporting ethereum but they are not ethereum based. After that find this link and try to visit. And I have got many sites gambling site which are Ethereum based. So Op should try to visit and find out the best. Thanks
OP never asked about how to find the ethereum based gambling houses nor he is not is a confusion to find the best one neither. He is about what kind of new features we may get from ethereum based houses which are focusing in improving our gambling experiences kind of thing. He is definitely not about instant withdraw nor no-KYC kind of things; he is about forever-new thing we may get due to ethereum based gambling.

Unfortunately my answer to OP might be there is no best gambling house by the category of ethereum based as most of those ethereum houses are here to make use of their own tokens. They have some new token which is specialized for gambling on their house (like with BNB, you will get discount in binance exchange) also some houses are promoting about dividends from gambling profits for the long term holders of those tokens.

Simply, they are all trying to cash-in by the feature of tokenization of ethereum but not innovating anything in gambling perspective by making use of the core concepts of ethereum.
2345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: November 03, 2019, 09:35:41 AM
I once did it to make a donation for my victory. although many people think that the money from gambling is dirty money. but I didn't care about it. because our good intentions can actually be done.
A dirty money also will become a noble thing, when it is used for needy people. I agree there are classification about any profits from gambling as sinful money or dirty money as per some people's culture and belief. That is because when someone lose some money, on the other end, some other person will be winning it. The curse of the loser may follow it as per some people's opinion. But, I believe even there is a curse that will be cleared when we think about donating some part of winning money.

I believe donating gambling profits must be a emphasized to every gambler. So that, we may not get cursed by dirty money in any case which may help them to win again in their forthcoming gambling/betting rounds.

Big wins often make us very happy and I often think that when I get the win I will give a partial donation.
But, the real fact is most gamblers are not able to finish off their gambling in profits so they never think about big wins so that they may go for donating. I am sure when we happy then we definitely go for sharing those happy feeling which is only possible through donations.
2346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020? on: November 03, 2019, 07:05:44 AM
I have read a lot of predictions from bitcoin price experts by 2020, and most of them are positive predictions about the price of BTC, they predict that BTC will exceed $ 20,000. It seems like everyone is optimistic and the bitcoin halving event has given people more confidence in bitcoin's price rise.
I am also one of the people that is very optimistic that bitcoin halving would be having quite an effect on the bitcoin value come next year, though the thing about the halving is that it will play a role, but what will play a role more is the fomo, the believe of people that halving will have an effect is what makes them to start making lots of deposit for this big event and this will surely make the marketcap to increase and grow.

Aside the halving of bitcoin, I am really believing many things to contribute to the growth of bitcoin next year, Ethereum is one that will play a very big role in this and some other project like Facebook if they are allowed to be released will play a big role, although I see it affecting altcoins more, but whatever affects altcoins will surely affect bitcoin too positively.
2347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: November 02, 2019, 07:31:37 PM
Bitcoin can be extinct if have lower price few year later, many investor do not care if bitcoin have lower price and move their money to other investment kinds, if bitcoin want keep exist for long time have to make bitcoin keep have higher price, never break down under $200 if bitcoin want to keep exist several years later, almost many project investment have extinct because bad reputation with lower price.
Also take into consideration that another man’s food is another man’s poison and vice versa, if bitcoin get a low price today, we have different people with different mind, purpose and interest at any given time. As that price discourages some people, so it will encourage some people and then push them into making an investment in the coin at that price.

If you think that in future when bitcoin dump, it will make the system to collapse, that is totally not going to happen, and also remember that bitcoin technology is one that no one can break into it to destroy it, provided the building is not destroyed, it will always get somebody to occupy it at any time. The more the year proceed, the more we will be having more of adoption which there will never be an end since more and more generations are being born.
2348  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀ROCKETPOT.io 🚀| Multiply Your Bitcoins✅ | Win the Jackpots 💰 | Launch Thread on: November 02, 2019, 05:03:53 PM
There could be some times when the minimum is played but since minimum is good enough to make a good return I suppose it is never 0mbtc. Or at least rarely ever.

There are people who follow the jackpot more than the game itself, a lot of people gamble here for the jackpots because that drops the house edge significantly so if you try to chase the jackpot there is a chance you could make a decent return. Hence, in the long run I suppose there is always a person who makes money.

I still like the business model this place, they have found a niche for themselves that nobody managed to think of before them, maybe there will be copies of this place in the future but they will always have the first spot with their originality. Unless someone makes like a 1k minimum version which would steal a lot of smaller fish.
2349  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: November 02, 2019, 09:47:09 AM
Showing the all top 30 could actually make for a good marketing, I mean when people see the top 10 they think maybe they can't afford to be in the top 10 but if they have seen the top 30 they could actually try to beat the 30th spot or be in the 23th spot or whatever and that way you could attract a lot of smaller fish as well, top 10 will always be there anyway so the whales you would like to give it a try will continue to do so while you would be getting the fish as well.

It is not a must, it is not really a priority neither, it is just the best case of marketing you can do for free, all you need to do is have a bigger picture in the bitcointalk topic and that's it, doesn't cost anything and would take an extra 30 seconds at tops to do that if you wanted to.
2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: November 02, 2019, 06:53:42 AM
I do call superstitions as "personal trick" to trigger our luck factor. Fortunately or unfortunately I have lots superstitions but my luck also not getting triggered everyday, it means I guess I need to follow some set of superstitions for particular day.
Trick? Something new, I come across for the first time but, definitely a good comparison. People are having lost of strategies for their gambling and superstitions must be one of them. You may call them as trick or strategy or whatever still what is your achievement out of them is the big question here.

I bet if your time is good your superstitions will work for you to make you lucky which is exactly similar to all other gambling strategies. Then definitely superstitions is also a kind of trick, I must agree with you. As usual a trick may work for us or may not, a superstitions too.

Quote
instead of enjoying my gambling, now a days I am just going research for my superstitions. This may be a bad consequences of being a believer of superstitions.
Too much of anything, good for nothing. Limit yourself. Can you enjoy your cake when it will be having too much of sugar? nor cream? Same thing is happening for your gambling too. I have seen some gamblers are too busy in deriving their own martingale strategy with faucet earning. After months of struggle, they complain they enjoy nothing with gambling and found no perfect strategy too.

Take for instant those who depends solely on voodoo for wining in gambling, when they have whatsoever charms they think that can make them win a game. They depend on it without bothering to consider calculating their games.
Luck factor is the final winner here. It may in your side when you bother nothing or when you calculate all your superstitions. It must be a universal truth : Luck is God's touch. That is the reason you will not be able to  control it. Enjoy it when it is in your favor and accept the defeat when not in your favor.
2351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is there a way to have crypto news of each country ? on: November 01, 2019, 04:30:25 PM
I am certain that there would be sites that has this covered already and if you search them out you will find that so many countries have a site that is created by their citizens to cover cryptocurrency for their country, but it will be quite difficult to actually rely on just news from particular country because there is still less activities about crypto in some, and you know that whatever is going to influence bitcoin will be a global news.

It is still a good thing that we have some of these popular sites actually have general news covered, but I think what some sites needs to just do is to have a link that can record a particular news for the day under a country. I like this thing that is happening in your country, it will really be great if France can play a very big role in cryptocurrency implementation.
2352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency ranking in China on: November 01, 2019, 03:33:22 PM
EOS is again the leader in China. This time Bitcoin was in 11th place.
I have several questions:
1) Why does EOS have such respect among Chinese crypto users?
2) Recently, the Chinese media resource cctv.com released a reportage about Blockchain and how Bitcoin is based on technology and how it works. Could this affect the change of leader among cryptocurrencies in China, I mean, will Bitcoin be more used in the country?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/eos-holds-top-spot-bitcoin-11th-in-chinas-latest-crypto-rankings
Don’t you think that they are just being biased about this project, and reason being that they are china based project and now that china is full in support of blockchain, they would rather support their own already established project instead of thinking of building another one since people are already used to this one. Apart from speed that people have complained about bitcoin, I think bitcoin is still the best project that I have ever seen in this crypto sphere.

EOS platform may be fast now, but wait until EOS is really full too like bitcoin and see whether we will still have this recommendation about them. EOS is a very great project, I would not be biased about that, but can still not be competed with bitcoin and I will retain my stand on this no matter what.
2353  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: November 01, 2019, 02:16:12 PM
There could be problems and it could be solved or not solved but is it really fair to call them a scam without giving them a voice to reply back? I mean what will happen if they come out and say "sorry it was a mistake from our end, here is your money back" or something? If they do that, what happens to all the scam accusations and all the yelling and big letters with red and so forth?

I feel like when someone has a problem with a place, any place, they should first ask for explanation from the website, if you feel like you are being scammed after they reply back then I would understand but without that I feel like it wouldn't make sense at all. At least lets wait for them to reply and if they do reply with something positive then it would be wise to delete your angry post.
2354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: November 01, 2019, 10:52:03 AM
It's a little difficult when we've played and there our emotions and ambitions cannot be resisted. although at first we have rules that have been made when it touches how much we have to stop, but sometimes we ourselves are carried away so that we spend all our money. I often experience this and in the end when we lose we regret it.when not playing we can make rules but when playing there our emotions can not stop
I dint think that it is ever  right to involve emotions in gambling in the first instance,  but sadly,  we all make this mistake several times for one reason or the other and I consider this habit really disturbing because it causes us so much loses and we are never ready to learn sadly.

The only people that have been able to gamble successfully without emotions are those that have been in the game for many years and I believe that they may have learnt from past experiences. Most times I promise myself I would play without emotions and the game just has a way of getting me confused and I end up repeating the same mistake.

In the very long run ... I doubt you can resist from the greedy nature that always come up in your head , human nature is set to never feel satisfied, if you can't be responsible in gambling better to stay away .
Staying away must be a perfect solution for restraining ourselves at a small losses and not to spend big money there after. But, it will not work when your greedy leads you. Only responsible gamblers do control themselves and so their greediness too. When you are having full control on your gambling activities then you may stay away from gambling or may quit after some small losses itself.
2355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 01, 2019, 05:25:34 AM
I will like to know the difference between shot term and long term trading and the one that is much profitable. Also the different risk involved in both.
They are both. Short term trading is profitable if you understand how it works and you're able to trade. If not, you will just be losing your money and nothing else. If you want to start trading you will have to learn technical analysis or maybe find a very reliable source that will do that for you (for your information, most of them that do this are fake).

Long term trading, do you mean HODL? HODL is more easy than day trading, because there isn't much work that you will have to do except that you will be trying to follow up with news and technical analysis but not as much as you would with day trading. You just have to target the right time to invest your money and then wait for the price to increase, and when it does increase, you can then withdraw your profit.

Do long term and day trading at the same time, that will be the most beneficial type of trading, Doing both.
I guess most people here are doing both like myself too. Yes, I am also doing both long term holding and short term trading. But, the big differences in how much risk you will be taking for each kind. I do long term holding for 95% of my capital whereas for short term trading (still I am not into day trading) I risk only 5% of my capital.
2356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 01, 2019, 04:50:37 AM
Well, I have seen someone who is an expert trader and he doesn't have that kind of time. Though the person I'm talking about is not the kind of person that likes to seek for attention online, he just sits on his own and trades and doesn't come online to be sharing things about his trade. But, I saw his trade once and he did make a few loss (about four times) but the rest, more than twenty were just profit.

Being an expert trader doesn't mean that you will be making profits only, there are times you will lose, but your ability to overcome your emotions then and continue to trade and correct the mistakes you have made and overtime turn them to profit is what makes you a professional.

So, there is no one that is 100% perfect, experts are humans, so they will make mistakes sometimes but not as noobs who will be making mistakes all the times and losing their money.
2357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: November 01, 2019, 04:00:22 AM
i hard to say when you sometimes tired from trading or have stress from ico or lose part of deposit. What you do to relax refresh youself and get inspiration for new trade. How much time you need to refresh youself for new hight.
Music is always my thing. Anytime I'm feeling depressed or whatever, I just pull out my earpiece and start listening to music , mainly songs that will motivate me and not party music or any crazy songs. Another thing I do is go to Instagram and watch some funny videos or even go to YouTube to watch videos. There are lots of things I do when I'm not feeling okay.

But, there are some situations I will be in and nothing will be able to cool my anger or stop sad mood, except going to sleep Cool. So, when such tough situations comes and I can't handle it I just go to my bed and lie down and sleep and wake up tomorrow, lol.

vacationing on an island with your wife or your girlfriend and having a party there in my opinion could be one option that is sufficient for refreshment.
That's cool, but not for those of us that are still single lol. You can only go for a vacation if you're taking a break, but I think the op is referring to a situation where he loses his money, the things he can do to help himself in such a situation.
2358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Support Or Have You Supported A Coin That Makes A Comeback on: October 31, 2019, 08:17:23 PM
Actually I also have a lot of dead coins but until now there has not been a single one that grows back, if there is a dead coin that grows back and has a road map then that can be a consideration for us to support again but must first look at the details so as not to feel disadvantaged again.
There are too many projects in the market to start paying attention to projects that makes a comeback, because I didn’t not know what killed them in the first instance, and there is no assurance that whatever they did to kill the first project as being fixed and there is no guarantee also that they are not coming to scam the second time, so for me, I would not pay any slight attention to them.

Like you, I already have a handful of bad coins already and I would not want to just keep holding these coins that are not trustworthy, rather than investing in a project that is making a comeback, I think that I will invest in already existing project that is listed among the top 10 coins or I just keep investing my money in bitcoin already because any money I have in bitcoin can never be  a waste.
2359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: October 31, 2019, 07:29:39 PM
Nobody own this market but there are people who believe cryptos will get under the control of countries. I don't give a chance for that. I believe Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will always continue to be special.
Even if cryptocurrency gets under control of the government, they can only fully control the cryptocurrency that they have created, but they can really not be able to control bitcoin, because bitcoin is a coin that its technology really does not allow that and it will take another strong decentralized coin to contend with bitcoin.

I doubt if the government would ever give chance to another decentralized coin because they always see them as a partial threat to them because of the total control it would give to the user in having absolute control over their own financial status which they would feel that the lack of respect by this individuals will come in, but it is a good thing anyway that they have a coin that will always checkmate them and this is the reason why bitcoin will always be embraced.
2360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019 over 40m cryptocurrency wallets have been created on: October 31, 2019, 04:34:34 PM
More than 40 million cryptocurrency wallets have been created, as of mid-2019, according to market data provider Statista. The report from Statista revealed that there were only around 8 million digital asset wallets in 2016.

The latest numbers from Statista’s report are quite staggering when you consider they’re based on the growth of a single crypto wallet provider, Blockchain.com.

The London-based wallet provider offers one of the most widely-used wallet clients which includes support for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Stellar (XLM), Paxos Standard Token (PAX), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Full article
The figure looks great, but just count that 40 percent of those wallet are redundant which I know that 1 person may even own more than one wallet, which may be as a result of mistake or loss of a particular wallet they once had, but what I can know is that there are 21 million users of bitcoin and that is what is more of concern to me, which I think it is still very low compared to the number of populations that we have worldwide.

It shows that there are still so many people that are yet to start making use of bitcoin, but if we look at it from the angle of value, bitcoin value has really tried for us to have just 21 million wallets which I would also count as users, and the price has already reached this $9k, and I believe that as adoption rate increases, more wallets will be created.
