We are already bumping up against a limit. No simulation needed. We have reality instead ...
OK, wrong word. Still I hope that most pools will not immediately lift / increase their limit. So we know what will happen when we reach the hard limit, which can't be changed so easily. So let us bump against this for a few month. And lift it only if it really damages Bitcoin.

Well, I'm curious to see how this works out. Hopefully the most pools will not increase their Blocksize limit so we get a good simulation of how the Bitcoin environment behaves when we bump against a limit.

So does anybody review the quality of these first 5 posts, or can you just write any sort of crap on 5 random threads and get through? If so, it's not *that* much of a barrier for trolls...
Of course not. I'm the keeper of the gate to the full forum and will look over every post of every noob to decide if he is to be let in.

Woah! I received 100000000 Satoshis! So who wants next?

Is it really true that BTC is widely used to purchase child porn? I see that accusation thrown around a lot, but are there any sources to back that claim up? I think not?
I don't really know, but I doubt that it is used more than any other currency. Despise that, using that as point against bitcoin is ridiculous. A protocol can't be good or evil. It just is. I heard Email is mostly used for spam and sending viruses. Email makes it just to easy for this spammers, they can use it almost anonymously. Email is evil.

Boycott Bitcoin!
Well, Fellow Reckoner, last week was something of a sad week for proponents of Bitcoin...
Would-be buyers of the fringy cyber experiment have had to watch as the price of their beloved currency shot to within a few cents shy of $35 per coin. No buyer wants to see that kind of action...unless they are also an 'already boughter'.
In other words, current owners and maybe-one-day sellers are sitting fairly pretty. Since the beginning of January, the bitcoin price in dollars has rocketed roughly 270%. Not a bad move for those who spent the past couple of months 'hoarding' (The correct word, let it be on the record, is 'saving'). And not bad for a currency that suffers the ignominy of existing without the indispensable aid of a central bank.
To be sure, true believers will still be scooping the controversial coins up for what they surely see today as a bargain. As we remarked in this space earlier last week...
Of course, as we all know, the Bitcoin crowd is really just a cabal of dissidents, brimming with lunatics who would trust the free market to its own devices, without the tireless vigilance and service of the government. ('But who would build the...?') What might happen if these malcontents were to gain traction, with their silly little ideas about 'liberty this' and 'freedom that'?
Imagine for a moment, Fellow Reckoner, a scenario in which the value of a currency was determined by the people who actually use it, and not by some all-knowing, all-powerful demigod on a Federal Reserve board. What might happen to central banks as they exist today?
Imagine that fees and charges more or less disappeared, so that opening a digital wallet was as easy as setting up an email account, and sending and receiving payments as simple as firing off a text message. What might happen to banks and financial institutions that today shower their loyal customers in myriad penalties and fees?
Imagine that bureaucratic red tape vanished into the ether, so that anyone with a sound idea and the gumption to see it through could enter the self-regulating ecosystem of service providers without need of state license or permit?
What would happen to that friendly monopoly of mega banks steadfastly committed to fragilizing the global financial system...not to mention the chubby-mitted congress of politicians diligently taking bribes from them on our behalf?
Imagine that transactions of the currency were virtually anonymous, so that individuals could conduct their daily business, buying and selling goods and services, in cryptographically-ensured security and privacy.
What might happen to the lifeblood of The State when it is unable to easily invade the privacy of its citizens in order to track and steal their money for them?
Imagine that...
No! Let us imagine no more! We must put a stop to this. We must rage against these margin-traipsing ne'er-do-wells. And we must sully the name of their wretched cyber currency initiative.
And finally, we must hope the bitcoin price falls back through the floor...so a better buyer again we can be.
Regards,
Joel Bowman for The Daily Reckoning Australia

Well, that's the curse if you make a job to good. Congrats you have made yourself unnecessary ... Give it some time, they will be back.

Huh.

Wow. If this one is actually sold for BTC it would be a real milestone. I'm sadly to poor for this

The noob requirements are a good thing simply due to one point. There are the same questions asked again and again. I have no problem with that. Noobs mostly have the same questions again and again and I answer them again and again But it's good to have this repeating questions sorted in one board so we don't get the "real" Bitcoin discussions "spammed" with them. It's seems like an unfair thing for the people who have already spend some time learning about bitcoin before they join, but it's just the only wai to not get the Bitcoin discussions board flooded with questions about divisibility, 21 million limit, Free Bitcoin Sites, Should I mine or not, Give me Bitcoins, [Exchange Name] scammed me, Could Bitcoin be hacked, The Flaws of Bitcoin (that aren't), Bitcoin is unfair, etc. So it's really a good thing. Get over it.

If you have send it, it belongs to someone else now. Sorry.

If you have the time and energy, you should probably split it up in the sections:
1. "Full" Currencys (Better word needen) Full Exchange between other currencies
Your list, but for P2P currently only Bitcoin and Litecoin.
2. Buy only / one way currencies:
Lindendollars Amazon Coins etc.
3. Stand alone Currencies:
WOW Gold etc.
This would not let it look like a Cryptocurrency advertising Site (what it currently is) and add a little more credibility.
I would still remove all the other P2P currencies if you don't want to get this Site edited until it isn't recognizable any more or get it deleted as a whole.

Created on 28 Feb. 2013. Well, lets see how long it stays this way until an edit war starts. Also: BBQCoin are you (I assume it was you) serious? If you add this Zombiecoin then where is Namecoin? (and IOCoin, Solidcoin...)
