2341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: February 10, 2022, 06:36:55 PM

A lot depends on how useful is altcoins. Good altcoins that are useful for people will survive even in the fall of the market.
There are altcoins that offer cryptocurrency investment tools with crypto APP to work like S&P 500 like https://twitter.com/FiPiToken/status/1482266971731378177

The most important that altcoin will be really useful for people. The more people use the altcoin and the ecosystem of the project that created this altcoin the more demand in altcoin.

Development of altcoins a lot will depends from the conditions of cryptocurrency market. If market will continue to rise people will invest more actively in altcoins and the development will increase.
yes it depend on the crypto market but only those altcoins which have any particular or we can a special use for the community as the investors want to see that features which attract people around the world and if a coin have the ability to attract people then its price increases and that is the point that investors will invest in the coin.

I think the faith of the altcoins will most probably will be determined by the bitcoin move. If the bitcoin is bullish, then we can expect very good returns from the alts.

Not only high volume good coins but even most of the shitcoins will give many times returns in the bull season. But who will take benefit from the next altseason > It will only be the ones who are accumulating the altoins at cheap prices whereas most of the people are on the sidelines because they fear more loss and more downside.
2342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hyperdoge on: February 10, 2022, 06:00:17 PM
Not going to take this bait again. I was done with Shiba Inu and I think that should be the last of my stupidity and should learn from my mistake.
Whenever I hear a name that sounds like Doge, Inu, Shiba or whatever that is near that I have the assumption that it won't be any better as the first ones.
Just a tip, if you are really serious about your project, you might want to name it as far as those meme coins as possible. Many investors are not happy anymore after they realized the truth behind it.

Shiba Inu is still a strong project but all these coins Hyperdoge etc are useless and are made to capture our bitcoin and in return, we get these shitcoins.
One tip: If you see a new coin similar to the name of the famous Meme coin, then it will be a definitely scam. If the project owners can't think of a unique name, do you think they will ever be able to make that project unique and strong?
2343  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Inflation is a big problem for a country? on: February 10, 2022, 08:59:21 AM
We all know that Inflation in the US economy is at an alarming rate. Not the only USA, but Inflation is also a big problem for many countries globally, and it seems there is no way to stop it. Is it impossible to stop inflation in fiat currency or govt don't want to take any action it stop it? Do you think people can do anything to stop inflation in their economy or its inevitable?

Inflation cannot be stopped unless the money supply is limited. Since governments are all the time printing money, this will devalue the currency and is the major factor for inflation.
In order put the inflation on halt, either the government strictly do not allow printing of currency notes (which they will hardly stop) or start using a inflation free currency like bitcoin (which is also very unlikely).
2344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 10, 2022, 08:36:21 AM
I'm yet to drive into the Metaverse; have read a few articles & got a little idea about it. I won't say I liked the idea or disliked but to be honest, I would appreciate any development which would make our life easier. I guess there are many people out there who either don't like Metaverse or have no interest to know about either; mostly I believe the bitcoin maximalists are of that sort.

I have read several articles and have a vague understanding of the metaverses, but I probably have no negative attitude towards them. I don't like the NFT idea, there is a lot of unnecessary rubbish and the majority understands this well. Metaverses have a right to exist, but this is just a temporary fad until something more interesting appears on the market.

We need to understand from where all these ideas of NFT and metaverse come from? First, we have the bitcoin and then all the altcoins came into existence and then we have stuff like metaverse and nfts. So if there was no blockchain, no bitcoin and there would be no such innovations. So i think that in a broader perspective everything is linked to bitcoin as a whole.
2345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin book as surprising gift on: February 10, 2022, 07:51:59 AM
Recently, I have taken a step to create awareness about cryptocurrency among the people I know (Friends, cousin etc.). There are few books on cryptocurrency in Bengali language. I haven’t read all as the title was stupid. I have read one by Mostafa Tanim, "Bitcoin: Blockchain and Other cryptocurrency". I have gifted two times so far, one to my cousin and another one to my friend. What I'm doing is ordering the book online directly to their address though rokomari.
This is what I think the best approach to send a message that they should learn about it. Share your opinion/experience with such activities.

Is this digital book also available for download free of cost too or only the paid physical copy was available which you gifted to the friends ?
Anyways in both the cases, it is a good initiative from you to develop awareness about bitcoin but usually people find it cumbersome to read the books when everything is available in the form of videos tutorials. However, for a starting point, it is good that people have something in hand where they can read about it and later learn more about it online.
2346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: February 10, 2022, 06:42:43 AM
Which one is easier to think about?

  • one intangible thing not having any physical presence, turned its value from 0 to $100K?
  • one digital currency which has surpassed paper money by getting people's support?

To me, 2nd one is easier to think and dream of.

Both of these points are interlinked with each other. The intangible bitcoin could not gain its value from 0 to 100K without the people's support and people taking interest in it ?

The question then arises, why people would take interest in such a currency and we conclude that paper money has a lot of disadvantages the worst being it is inflationary based and the second one it is manipulated and controlled by the governments.
The bitcoin resolves this as it is a non-inflationary decentralized currency with zero controlling power over it.
2347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2022, 06:12:36 AM
When i first heard about bitcoin, one of the selling points then was the pseudo anonymity. But as of recently, it is hard to purchase any crypto without encountering a form of KYC.

I’m just curious of everyone’s thought on this.

You can still use and combine some decentralized exchanges, social media platforms ,mixers,  even some gambling sites and  P2P in order to get the crypto without doing the KYC but the process will be complex and not easily understood by a layman or the one who is new in the crypto.

There is pressure from the governments to make the KYC mandatory and hence the famous centralized exchanges won't allow you to buy bitcoin or make P2P transactions without KYC.
2348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not experience blood bath on: February 10, 2022, 05:25:43 AM
As the crypto market matures, we are seeing more stability and less volatility with prices, but of course as the industry is still relatively young, it will still be much more volatile than many other markets. I don't see a massive plunge in bitcoin's price without a massive pump beyond the previous all-time high. The good thing about a more level cycle is, although the profits will not be as much, there will be a less pronounced crash during the bear market. On the other hand, I think many shitcoins need to die off.

Well said. Crypto market will get more mature and stable as more and more institutions will invest in it and its marketcap increases to reasonable levels. I think Bitcoin will not see any major fall in coming weeks or months as it has already bottomed out when its price fell to around 33K level which in my opinion was bottom. This morning Bitcoin opened the new week with its price above 42K which indicates that we will see organic growth in its price in coming weeks. DYOR

Since the recovery already happen and people's attention are into it right now maybe we can see stable or little much bullish condition at the moment, for sure many think that the bearish phase already ends since many are now accumulating so hopefully we can see brighter figure to see on what will happen next since for now its hard to give a prediction towards what will happen next month.

Even though bitcoin has recovered, this makes it chances more to again dump from the resistance. The probability of going higher was more at 33K as compared to now at 44K. If bitcoin dump 1000 - 2000 $ in a day, we may experience another bloodbath in the altcoins. Right now, i am not sure, if the market will keep on moving towards 50K or we are going back to 35-36K level. However, in the case of dump, there will be some support at 40K level also.
2349  Other / Meta / Re: Ban on signatures for 1xbit campaign participants, do you agree? on: February 09, 2022, 04:47:48 PM

If negative tags don't solve the problem of people continuing to promote this campaign, is it possible to expect a signature ban for each participant? Is this signature ban also a moderation of scam?

The rules of the forum should not be altered only because a certain scam gambling site is running a signature campaign and promoting scam.
But we can play our part by reporting the posts made by the spammers in that campaign. Since most of the posters in that campaign are not well known for their writing skills, their posts most likely will get deleted if reported by one or more members of the forum. Once the posts the deleted, the participants won't be paid and hence, people will be discouraged to join this campaign.
2350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: February 08, 2022, 06:55:11 PM
But I see positive strategic changes from Axie Infinity. The project has no longer focus its economy on PvE and shifted it towards PvP. That is smart and must switch because PvE is unsustainable. The project, the ecosystem can not attract huge new users at same rate over time. That means if the customer growth stops, slow down or decrease dramatically, PvE-based economy will put price falls down significantly as well.

All these positive changes seem to favor the new investors who did not have played AXIE before. Many people were comfortable with PvE structure where they were easily getting 50 SLP daily without much effort. For this purpose, they had bought less powerful axie in cheap prices only to play adventure mode. Now, these low profile axie will be useless in the PvP mode and they won't be able to win any games in Arena mode.
2351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Painting is now NFT on: February 08, 2022, 04:16:47 PM
we can't predict someone's luck, the unexpected thing is someone in my country who diligently uploads his own photos on opensea, for 4 years, he got luck that he didn't expect. until finally many people flocked to offer their work at opensea. but a person's fortune cannot be imitated, but if it is our right then nothing is impossible, the important thing is that we must continue to work
That's why many people now upload their photos on Opensea. They use a proverb, "just follow where the money flows, and you may have a chance to make money."

People can use any price they want, but no one will know when or who will buy that stuff. And yes, I agree that he can use a small price to see if he can get his first buyer, but that will be up to him.

These days people are inspired by hearing stories of NFT being sold for a lot of money, and therefore they also list their NFTs with high prices thinking they will get sold too. No one tells that there are millions of NFT which are listed and never sold. We need people to be aware of this too so that they may lower their expectations.

Anything can happen in NFT space. It can be sold at high prices but it all depends upon luck.
2352  Other / Meta / Re: GASTY4 APPEAL on: February 08, 2022, 03:44:38 PM

Remember that I asked you to make a video of you logging in to that Remitano wallet? Videos can't be faked, or you need enough knowledge and experience to do it. Images can be faked. As long as that remains a possibility, I don't think your wallet screenshot will be enough to convince the recovery team. A video might not be enough either, but it's better than a picture. So, do you have a way to record yourself logging in (without showing your password) and going to that screen that shows your deposit address? You can log in on a computer and record yourself from a phone or use a second phone to record what you are doing on the first one.

Even images are not easy to be faked. At least i don't have the skill to make a good fake image.
Lets suppose if OP is able to present the video of logging in to Remitano wallet ? Will this be accepted by the mods ? Everyone is sharing their own advices, i will be more interested to know what exactly mods need is such a situation and how the forum admins resolves such a case or it remains unhandled forever because of not enough evidences.
2353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you answer a couple of questions to a potential bitcoin buyer? on: February 08, 2022, 12:23:37 PM
There's no point to continue this further as you lack understanding of what's consensus while you're abusing vocabulary at the same time. I quit.

You may quit but the op keep on posting and will stand on his vague arguments.  I tried to convenience him earlier but all my efforts went in vain because he is not willing to understand anything and he is not willing to accept any other point of view other than his own.

Unfortunately topic has become so prolonged without any property conclusion.
2354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hypothetically keeping your bitcoin when you die? on: February 08, 2022, 10:11:10 AM
I would rather prefer spending all the money during my natural life than holding any amount to spend after 100 years. You will never be able to have a normal life after being absent for 100 years.
Does it make sense for you that someone try to find an answer for such an imaginary scene?

These types of imagination and thinking 100 years beyond is just day dreaming and nothing else. No one from us will be alive to see what happens after 100 years.
If freezing was possible, everyone would have frozen themselves to become alive in another century. Time travels and these frozen theories do not exist in reality. What money we have, we should spend it in this world before it's too late and we die.
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will u feel if d price of 1BTC exceeds $1m by 2030 as its made legal tender on: February 08, 2022, 09:57:30 AM
I would still feel that I should have bought it in its very early stages. So, rather than feeling low for my mistake, I try to buy the new cryptos as soon as I am able to fundamentally review it.
Are you really kidding me or what? So if the price of Bitcoin should happen to reach up to $1 million dollars by that time and I am assuming that you have already invested in by now, you would still be wishing that you invested at the earlier ? You must really be kidding me. What other profit are you looking for?

If you have Bitcoin now at the current that the market is at, and all of a sudden it has gotten to one million dollars per bitcoin n, seriously you should be one of the happiest men alive, because that is going to be a really huge profit for you looking at the current state of the market.

1 million dollars per bitcoin price is a very big amount and bitcoin won't reach this price overnight, not even in 10 years. With the world affected by many variants of covid19 and lot of deaths around us, we never know if we would be alive by the time bitcoin reaches this one million dollar milestone. Right now we can only dream of these prices.
2356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 07, 2022, 09:33:56 AM
Bitcoin has pumped by 30% in last two weeks as the value of bitcoin was $32917 (lowest on that day) on 24tg January 2022 and it touched $43000 today and this can't be bull trap as its a sure signal that Bitcoin is rallying towards $50k once again.

I thought it's a bull trap but there will not be a leverage of 30% for bulltrap and I have decided to invest back into crypto and infact cashed in once it crossed $42k. What's your take on Bitcoin price?

How can you say that its a bull trap? Bitcoin moved 30% up in 2 weeks but did you remember it dumped 30% in 1 or 2 days only and then it took months for this recovery. I think this is not a bull trap. We have a negative bearish, Nov, Dec and Jan. Now i think after a long three months of bearish price action, bitcoin may stay a month or two in bullish mode.
2357  Other / Meta / Re: GASTY4 APPEAL on: February 06, 2022, 05:30:20 PM
Assuming you are telling the truth, as mentioned by UmerIdrees, your email has been likely hacked too.

Is there any chance you can recover your email? If you can do so, then you should be able to reset your password and recover your bitcointalk account too.
Maybe, there's a phone number attached to your email address that can help you to recover your email.

Without the email address and a signed message from an address posted by you, it won't be possible to recover your account.

I'm telling the truth here you see, the problem is that I have no access to my email for sometime now, it's been invalid.
I'd have done forgotten password already.

That's too unfortunate that hacker knows your email password and you can't recover your email too via backup email or phone number. You can't even sign a message as you have lost access to the wallet private key also. What else have you forgotten ?

To be very true , at this point the only one reason i believe that you are speaking true is because CryptopreneurBrainboss has some evidences in favor of you.

I don't do this often but this case is different, user DM me off forum with same contact details he used when he introduced himself to me as an African and was already stored on my mobile. This is just a precaution to prevent whatever motive was behind the hack.
2358  Other / Meta / Re: GASTY4 APPEAL on: February 06, 2022, 09:21:11 AM

I had access last to my account after writing a post by the time 01:51:45pm.
Returning back from soccer drills, I was perplexed at how I couldn't log into my account, with response of password been incorrect.
Down for days as a result of this, I noticed and observed my account (Gasty4) green notification signal on, the account was last active on February 04:2022 03:29:51pm.

Upon checking your account here https://bpip.org/Profile?id=3391969, the password was changed via email, so does it mean that your email address was hacked too?
Can you access your email? If so, change the email password and then try to change the password of the account via email, if the hacker has not changed the email associated with the bitcointalk account.

The email is not changed yet. Only the password is changed.

I would not appreciate it if that happens to me, just because an anonymous Newbie claims my account got hacked! Gasty4 signed a message before, why would you believe anyone claiming to be him without a new signed message?

Lets suppose Gasty4 comes online and write that his account is not hacked. Now who is telling the truth ?
The one who can sign a message.
2359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: February 05, 2022, 07:16:52 AM
AXIE games are no longer attractive for gamers. In the next season, which is going to launch in about a week time, there will be no reward for playing adventure mode. Previously everyone got 50 SLP daily by playing in adventure mode but now if this reward is removed, then the only way to earn is to win in Arena which is not so easy. I am sure, after this new update, many game investors will be sad because it will be impossible for them to earn from this game.
That's just pretty stupid for the game devs to do. What about those players who are just starting up? Players who have a bad mix of Axies and even those scholars wherein SLP earning is a must? I've played this game before and even tried breeding way back when it is still profitable and I can honestly tell, winning on Arena isn't a hundred 100% guarantee, its quite hard to win on Arena especially if you're just starting up. Just goes to show that the game devs are so keen on reducing the supply of SLP but then do the wrong move for it.

Axie Infinity was once considered to be the best game and it gave more revenue to the people as they would have got on the 9 to 5 jobs in third world countries. But now Axie Infinity is not a money making game on which you can feed your family.

Now that you won't be able to generate SLP by playing easy adventures games, this means the people who have hired scholars and have invested a lot in this game, will be at a big loss.

2360  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 04, 2022, 05:37:04 AM
What's the rush?

Bitcoin is working as expected, this is how it compares to the USD in the long term

The rush? I've never sold a bit of BTC since 2013 and I'm starting to get bored, that's the rush. I want to feel the fruits of my labor too. Don't plan waiting 10 more years.
You could have sold it last year when bitcoin had reached its ATH twice. Definitely, not today since all your efforts from hodling will be totally gone, better keep on buying this time while there is good opportunity to buy. However, if you're not still in need of fiat or don't have any urgent needs, so what's the use of selling? You can generate more profits if you can hodl them for a longer time since bitcoin gives a new peak every year, much higher than the last years ATH.

Its difficult to sell the bitcoin at all time high prices becasue we never know what is the all time high and greediness never make us sell our coins. However , when the the prices are down we have so much fear of going more down and this makes us sell the coins.
Anyways i will never sell my bitcoins even if the prices is 75,000 or 25,0000.
I will contiune to hold my bitcoins unless i see a 100K- 200K bitcoin prices and at that momnet, i will not off load all my bitcoins. Will keep some save with me forever.
