23521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: November 22, 2016, 06:34:35 PM
bitcoin is a double edged sword on one hand using it provides security on the internet since no one can trace you down and on the other hand it provides a big opportunity for hackers and black market dealers that use it for selling drugs and other illegal stuff since it provides anonymity, but it all depends on the person that is using it

The bitcoin is not totally anonymous. It is pseudo anonymous. So you can be traced by using the bitcoin.

That is true. As the trail can't be destroyed in blockchain, the user can be tracked back with varying levels of ease. However, if the user mixes his coins, then it takes a lot of time and effort to track him (an example is Tomáš Jiřikovský, the Sheep Marketplace thief).
23522  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Europeans are being forced to accomodate rapefugees. on: November 22, 2016, 06:16:49 PM
Real problem in EU is not Germany but Poland and Hungary.

Can't blame Poland and Hungary. Both the nations are suffering because of the immigrants from Syria and the other middle-eastern nations. For example, Polish blue collar workers are getting laid off, as the immigrants are ready to work for far less. And Hungary is getting swamped by the immigrant influx. Right now, they are holding close to 100,000 immigrants.
23523  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump on his last leg? on: November 22, 2016, 06:12:28 PM
first of all who cares if he lost because of Latinos? they are american citizens to so you can shut that argument off right now. also of course if you take away california it would paint a different picture california is over a tenth of the countries population! should we go by states? or should we go by the population?

Because a large number of them were anchor babies, who don't deserve the American citizenship. Along with the illegal immigrants, the anchor babies also must be deported back to Mexico.

Also, it doesn't matter who wins the popular vote. The electoral college system is in place, to avoid Mexicans usurping the power through demographic Jihad. If they want a dozen children each, then it is fine. But please take the children back to Mexico.
23524  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Fukushima Tsunami. on: November 22, 2016, 06:07:23 PM
It was a false-flag. The recent earthquake was a very mild one, with a magnitude of 6.9 (for comparison, the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake had a magnitude of 9.1). Also, remember that the (Richter) magnitude scale is logarithmic. An earthquake with magnitude of 9.0 will be 1,000 times more powerful than one with a magnitude of 7.0.
23525  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Alert about Terror Attacks in Europe from USA. on: November 22, 2016, 06:04:02 PM
The US Government is simply trying to scare people. The reality is that income taxes, car accidents, medically poisonous drugs, simple old age, and the US Government itself, are harming Americans, daily, far more than any physical attacks from Europe could ever think of doing.

Cool

In the US, scaremongering using terrorism is applied in the following sectors:

1. It is helpful in increasing the defense spending
2. No one will question military intervention in third world nations
3. Mass surveillance of the ordinary people is made with the excuse of fighting terrorism
4. Whistle-blowers such as Snowden are harassed using anti-terrorism laws
5. And finally, it is used to change the demography of the Western nations
23526  Other / Off-topic / Re: Poll: Which religion is the best religion? on: November 22, 2016, 05:59:56 PM
The issue was originally raised improperly, you need to respect all religions that do not harm others.

It is not possible to respect all the religions, as they themselves are competing to get the maximum number of followers. This is especially true in the case of Abrahamic religions such as Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Even ancient religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism have now adopted many of the tactics from these religions.

And many doctors will tell you about the miracle healings when people pray, healings that they have no idea why they came about.

Cool

Sometimes, the human body is able to fight back the viruses and bacteria which causes the diseases. This immunity varies from person to person. It has nothing to do with prayer or religious belief.
23528  Other / Politics & Society / Re: California Declaratioin of Independence on: November 22, 2016, 05:55:17 PM
This an utopia, the water to entire Central Valley is fed from another state, for this purpose even built the Hoover Dam.

I am not sure about it. As per my information, most of the water which is used for irrigation in the Central Valley comes from the highlands of Northern California. And regarding the Hoover Dam, most of the water from there is used up in Nevada and Arizona. Only a small portion reaches California.
23529  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: November 22, 2016, 12:20:45 PM
But some are defaming Terist Muslim com No Problem With E-Muslim

what?

lol... just like e-mail and e-cigarette, we now have e-Muslim as well. Perhaps he was referring to the Muslim posters here in Bitcointalk, who spend more time in front of their computers than in the mosques.
23530  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: November 22, 2016, 10:58:55 AM
Free wifi is not really the answer for the Telcos overcharging in bills. We need investor that can compete with the current monopoly o  telco. Foreign investor are good but they are not allowed 100% of the stocks.

I don't know much about the taxes in Philippines, but I believe that one of the reasons for the high cost of internet connection may be government taxes. Duterte should first reduce the taxes
23531  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: November 22, 2016, 10:53:10 AM
Stop idiotic topics such as this, only people who doesn't have a feelings for the humanity will do this.

Cannibalism is natural. It has been documented among most of the animal species. For example, infant killing and cannibalism is very common among the chimpanzees. But still, with the progress of civilization, we have developed an aversion for the practice.
23532  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TRUMP WINS on: November 21, 2016, 05:00:56 PM
what will Obama do before Trump assumes?

He will do what he has been doing for the past 8 years. He will woke up at 8 am, have his breakfast, then play golf and then he'll have his lunch. After that, he will watch some soap opera, before departing again to play golf.
23533  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Desperate move: ISIS fighters using 600 suicide bomber dogs against Iraqi forces on: November 21, 2016, 04:57:46 PM
In this situation, would you chose the life of a few hundreds of people or the whole population of the world? Will the ends justify the means?

It is not that easy. If you bomb a house with the full knowledge that there are innocent civilians inside, then after the war you may be tried at a war crimes tribunal. This has happened several times in the past. You can't defend yourself by saying that these deaths were collateral damage.
23534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2016, 04:54:06 PM
Drugs are very harmful, even medicinal drugs are not exactly beneficial to your health. Smiley

LOL.... what is wrong with you? You don't want to use modern medicine? You don't believe in vaccinations? Well... it is your problem, and I am perfectly fine with it. But in case you get measles or whooping cough, stay at home and please don't infect others.
23535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: November 21, 2016, 04:50:03 PM
I have always used the blockchain.info online wallet (right now, I have two of them). For trade, I use the Localbitcoins.com wallet, and for receiving my sig earnings, I use by Yobit wallet. These are the only wallets I use.
23536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there new people coming to Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2016, 04:20:06 PM
Yes, I think.
In this forum I see more new users every day.

Increase in the number of new registrations is one thing.... and the proportion of these newbies staying active after a few days or weeks is another. Still, I am seeing promising signs. Perhaps, we are back to our peak strength....
23537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 21, 2016, 04:17:41 PM
yes, bitcoins are used for illegal activities because of its anonimity. anonimity of its users. since going into transactions doesnt require you to divulge your real identity. compared to credit cards for instance.

In my opinion, physical cash and bullion are more anonymous than bitcoin. If you transfer physical cash to someone, there is no way to trace them back to you. On the other hand, each and every bitcoin transaction leaves behind a trail which can't be destroyed, in the form of blockchain. Even mixing is of no use. In rare instances, wallet thieves were caught even after they had used coin mixers.
23538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: November 21, 2016, 04:14:18 PM
I don't think that it is against the spirit of Bitcoin. Hoarding happens with almost all the fiat currencies, and even with certain commodities. Also, there are enough floating coins available in the market for purchases and trade. We are not facing a shortage of coins.
23539  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: November 21, 2016, 04:09:03 PM
I have a total of BTC0.015 in my wallets. A few days back, I had around BTC0.12 with me, but I sold most of them to recharge my mobile connection, and to fill my online quickpay wallets.
23540  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 21, 2016, 04:04:23 PM
Still not impressive for small investors, we small investor want at least 5% per month if possible and the good thing about bitcoin is this year was great, we have increase the price of bitcoin for more than a 100%, now you can compared the growth of two this year alone.

Come back to your senses. No reliable investment will give you a return of 5% per month (which corresponds to 60% per year). I would consider an investment asset as highly coveted, it gives a return of 5% per year (in USD terms).

And now back to Bitcoin. It is true that BTC has given around 200% returns so far this year. But what about 2014? What about 2015? Take the bigger picture.
