2361  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 07, 2022, 06:21:33 PM
I voted yes because that is a fair conclusion even after we have registered 2 negative days recently as red candles on the graph.   Price has pulled back which can still leave it within a bullish formation overall, BTC is currently at the weekly average.
I'd estimate something like 20k is needed to be maintained for the overall positive momentum in this recent move.  In the weekly bar view we are very modest in any positive expression, apparently recent highs match a 100 day average.

stronger altcoins

Declaring some other blockchain stronger then Bitcoin would be quite controversial a topic to try and establish.  Its unlikely we find anything superior mean time but possibly a more speculative higher growth product can appear that outperforms BTC, it will be at far higher risk.   Typically its best to mine the very newest projects and gain entry that way, thats a whole different subject to discussing BTC price hence we generally divide the two topics.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: November 06, 2022, 11:50:15 PM
However your bad loss might be the loss isnt as great as damage to your live or lungs which other past times people spend money on can do .  Just maintain a positive attitude, anything can happen in life and remember this is just a game you will sometimes win sometimes lose.  Try to avoid relying on a gamble for something certain or reliable, its all quite random often.   1 good lesson is split up your amount gambled over a week or monthly schedule, 1 night is never the best time to bet all.
2364  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 06, 2022, 10:10:53 PM
I believe this rally in the market is due to the news of the employment index

We can purely relate via numbers to the Dollar index decreasing, its usually the case that this allows BTC and similar higher risk perceived asset to rise.     Also generally I would just describe this period of BTC rising as a relief rally, after a period of selling we can rise just from exhaustion in the order books.   Same dynamic occurs while we rise in price, if there is any lull in buyers available it can be enough for a sell off.   All part of the process, I do hope it builds into a progressive gain but the first part of a gain is down to lack of selling first & later some sellers will appear usually incorrectly to grab only a slightly higher price.

so that's why playing freebitcoin when the bitcoin price is down is better  Grin Grin

You're right. The period when the BTC is trading at a low price is the best time to be more active on the freebitcoin site. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the base prizes from the Wheel of Fortune will start to decrease when the BTC price reaches a range of $27-30k. So if some users have accumulated a lot of spins, they should use all of them soon as it looks like the bearish trend is gradually ending.

I dont really agree with storing spins once the prize has got to its limit then just use them.  If its a Satoshi BTC reward then you get interest compound and so on etc.   Holding FUN token and locking can give quite generous bonus and that is probably in excess of any other strategy to withholding spending with this particular site.   Its going to take a year for Bitcoin to develop any proper retake of its prior pricing upto 50k so you might as well lock for a longer period at least 90 days is quite fair, imo 180 and even 360 is going to work out.    My mistake in prior rallys was to sell too early so maybe the longer lock is for the best though I would not purely do one time frame.
I think the whole pricing and variance in the FUN price is subject to long term factors and the momentum in the price action has greater weight then people might have expected, much like BTC itself.   So I would roughly equate that to a tide going out, Im quite sure it'll return but on its own timescale not ours.

Right this moment Im quite bullish with the current view of BTC attitude, in this instant I believe its acting well.   I already said that it was quietly confident for BTC to withstand DXY twenty year highs as a burden imo that was/is a show of strength to hold up even at 'lower' pricing.  But this recent consideration is within a brief range perhaps upto the daily bars on a graph, to gain the larger amounts its requiring epic stone foundations to be moved into place and reassembled, its a different magnitude more fitting to weekly and monthly bars on a graph.   So patience lots of it is required for holding here or anywhere in crypto imo, to be negative now is not beneficial when it'll come in time.    Anyhow considering Nov price bet, I might look at the higher bets since we are resolving positively imo despite disappointing flat finish to Oct price;  I will just have to hope it doesnt reverse in a backtrack on the 30th thats always the gamble.
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 06, 2022, 04:13:32 AM
If we go that far, it's not the case only with Qatar. There are numerous wars going on in the world right now, but somehow only Russia is banned and sanctioned. It feels like Russia-Ukraine war is "commercialized" to the level that people are not even aware that there are other wars in the world. Just take a look at this map. It shows every war that is going on in 2022.

Not to get too political but its very simply put, Russia is not just another country its a member of the UN security council they are deliberately undermining the livelihood of a large section of the world.  They invaded and killed families continually daily for most of this year additionally with threats to most of Europe and the wider world via famine; theres no way its appropriate for them to take part in anything beyond peace talks.
The first priority is cease violence and aggression against civilians before you proceed with a game the two tasks are not close to the same magnitude its not close to a reasonable proposition.

For their own sake the Russian team themselves they cannot be put forward like that, can you imagine the hostility that would be apparent with the news in the background of bombing campaigns.

Even by your own map, can you see how gigantic Russia its not an obscure point, they are are unique burden to most of the world currently.   Nobody is benefitting or happy with a team barred but thats the smallest consideration.
2367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: November 05, 2022, 11:55:57 PM
I still have much doubt Doge will be deployed within Twitter.   I'd love to see it implemented for the general propagation of the crypto economy just to see how it can work out or overcome difficulties but I think its not going to happen at this time.  Elon has his hands full enough just battling all the hot air coming out various liberal factions who dislike he is right wing based, not that it should matter.
Blue tick is going to be dollars, I doubt we see any payment required for lesser use of twitter more likely just adverts will be implemented far more.

Tempting to bet on C9 to beat Navi, its too close but the aim on Navi is amazing also so despite mistakes they can win.

I went with the underdogs for the next 2 games, eagles and Spirit I think are worth a small bet.  I wont really consider these games started until bo3 is the standard format, so this is all just a warmup.
2369  Economy / Economics / Re: German gas giant has lost 93% of its value or 14.1 billion euros this year on: November 05, 2022, 10:23:35 PM
Shares are always inferior to the bonds of a company in terms of control and ownership its just that bonds can be paid off normally if suffient cash is available.  Any situation like this where a company makes a misstep and/or the sector collapses then the shares will become quite worthless compared to the money owed for the companies ongoing operations.

Some gas companies in Europe have arranged for the import of Liquid gas from the excess that USA has, its a natural arbitrage that was foreseeable years back.  USA used to deny the export of energy like this but recently lifted that law, any european gas company which ignored that avenue of revenue was sadly lacking vision for the benefits of diversity in security long term.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 05, 2022, 09:07:32 PM
Argentina no doubt have messi but as a team they are not strong enough to win the WC. I think Chances this time are with Germany and Brazil but we can never preict with certanity that who will lift FIFA WC.

The win is most likely to go with the team having the greatest cohesion to their gameplay.   Just a star player who is also at the end of his career I would not expect to be enough alone, surely the opposing side will counter that strength and know to do so.  A team more diverse and varied in their capabilities is far harder to counter act and I presume is going to go further before the opposing teams can stop them, maybe to the end and a win.
2371  Economy / Speculation / Re: There will be more down - bearish on BTC on: November 05, 2022, 06:41:05 PM
Dont be bearish till the situation warrants it, of course we can still be bearish after some event or bad selling bout but I dont think its reasonable to ignore that we have good price action right now.

Progressing in this way consistently is enough for me to pay attention and hope we can continue.  Even a price pullback here could still resolve positively if we in some way maintain this trend.   For so long BTC has failed to move especially upwards or downwards, that failure to move lower can easily be bullish by itself in a small quiet way that develops over time.
I dont expect a large gain this year but positive action is good development towards an eventual bigger move.

How to frame the odds in order to compare them would be the study of statistics and probability which is a proper mathematics subject to study.   Theres surely guides online but without doing the maths the wheel of fortune feels better for the participants because you always win a prize where as the lottery only awards the top winners who have to be very lucky.
I probably prefer the Wheel of fortune for that reason, I know theres a game I play GTA where you spin a wheel and always win something with one prize being much better but I'd compare it to that even though thats a virtual game its still an economy of sorts.  People used to dispute crypto was with any actual worth so all risk games are comparable in that way, the lines between physical money and virtual items has become blurred for sure.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 05, 2022, 06:18:55 AM
Anyone really low budget might have to wait a few months and save up the amount required to play as a minimum required.  I dont see it as a negative especially because if you really have no capital in the world to spare, its not that advisable to be gambling so perhaps the bar is best for either of the parties concerned.   Some thought before action is often advisable, I wouldnt really call this any discrimination or unfair obstacle.
2374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or bear November? on: November 05, 2022, 04:15:38 AM
The week went well, see how it ends but this is bullish movement imo.  The way we resolved upwards today when facing a point of no return in the pricing, thats great and it needs to jump hurdles above now but its doing well to start Nov this is about the best you could hope for with such headwinds.
2375  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 04, 2022, 09:32:03 PM
I find recent action good, dont know about calling it a pump but certainly its a time to be optimistic lest you miss a valid rally.  Theres no gain in refusing to believe the possibility for higher prices, even a 10k gain would be 50% from the lows and perfectly legitimate as a target.   I'd estimate 25k as reasonable but nobody can tell for sure.

Here is the rough ranges I would guess have restricted us for the last months.  We can regain a higher set of prices and its worth attempting to do so.   Daily bars, blue line is 50 day average if we can see that turn back upwards and continue trend above that measure then even in a setback shorter term we in a wider sense able to gain.
2376  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC always Decouple on: November 04, 2022, 06:45:44 PM
Present action seems very bullish to me, it faltered slightly but resolving upwards here make for a higher low.   We have a sequence of prices which after some selling continue upwards which is very typical of a bullish pattern.   Theres many hurdles in the way but so far BTC has acted well in the past few weeks.

The weekly graph still appears very humble, its still not that noticeable a change but in the smaller details its doing well.   The main point above price following other assets is BTC does move with risk appetite, when theres less money the price action will suffer.  However the longer term trend for BTC is outside a purely dollar dependence and is global imo which means growth, however thats far smaller single figure growth not the double figures people expect in crypto.
2377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why there is so much resistance at $23k price on: November 03, 2022, 11:59:53 PM
The majority of resistance can be represented roughly by the moving averages, around 50 day and 200 day will represent to me a bulk of volume that has to be cleared.   The simple reason is some people who bought at higher prices now want to sell.  Thats in large part why we do need momentum to make progress as well as larger factors like a swing back to speculative progression in markets, usually thats represented by a weakening dollar vs other currencies.
Yen and EURO are I think near to 70% of the inverse to dollar index and Bank of Japan has big problems with its QE program, to me this points to QE itself being at fault and will tell similarly in other programs around the world but thats in the future now the YEN is weak.  Also the war in east Europe with the possibility for expansion across Europe is putting alot of fear into the Euro worth.  Overall we are not in a monetary expansionary period.

Its not very exciting but we are above the 50 day average currently.  There is the idea we can develop positively from here though its stalling right this moment and also 200 day average is overhead.
2378  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 03, 2022, 06:53:07 AM
Really quite critical BTC holds this area, similarly the Dollar index or DXY looks like we need 112 to be the top price for this moment to consolidate into a positive continuation for Nov and to end out the year.

This pricing if we fail at this point probably leads us to retest the same support as prior, I actually have come to prefer a lower price for support longer term.   Not that I would opt for price to go lower but if its required, the more solid area in pricing needs to be found for longer term strength.
Basically the very recent low , the low prices end of last week; looks over extended but does need to hold for positive resolution.

2379  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you bet ESports or table tennis? If so, this is a must read. on: November 03, 2022, 05:55:59 AM
We're all natural sceptics because its been seen before and found to be a popup cardboard cutout but I hope you succeed in your positive vibes for the world.   It would help if you had been around these parts for a longer period of time, helps lend credibility if you have some long-term involvement with crypto in some way; a record to judge from.  People will naturally assume the worst without any history to say otherwise, nothing especially personal in that to be insulted by.
Some people say quite a few games are pre-arranged, kinda ruins the gameplay if that is the case but I could believe there is info out there for those games.  I suggest trying the service section of the forum for a venture such as this, the thread is likely to last longer there which over time will help build up a record of wins/losses etc.

2380  Economy / Speculation / Re: So are bond traders right… or is this time different? on: November 03, 2022, 04:25:09 AM
Happens every time really, the market has to cover the idea we can relief rally on a more positive outcome.   They guess too soon but some of the buys are closed short positions which is why this pretty much will often occur, nobody wants too much to be negative into a possible positive event.  Now we've confirmed the worst or at least the ongoing negative as just that with no alteration traders will go back to the negative narrative and only a few will buy during this time while waiting for 'the low'.  Wave dynamics coming from the market trying to second guess itself, invariably we over shoot to the downside as much as we had done for the peaks imo.
BTC is people just as much any other price so similarly we act in line with this process I guess.   USD doesnt really deserve to be called strong when it definitely has inflation and so lost value, this percentage loss is worse then BTC has been registering so too much weakness in BTC is not really my view but we are subject to the same weight and fear factor as any other asset, 'lots' of borrowed money within BTC still I guess
