Porter hasn't knock out with this style so he will continue with it because it made him a champion. All of his losses are very close fight that's why this fight might be the same, very hard for judges to score because of the contrasting style this two have.
This fight will go to the scorecards I think because both fighters are tough and Porter will still bulldoze his way into Crawford trying to slow him down going into the championship rounds. This fight is for Terrence Crawford to shine so I'll go with him winning via Decision as Porter is one tough customer and @1.74 it's not bad to bet for him. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F3awUVCV.jpg&t=663&c=1IPIt8BrlcCVxQ)

Of course he has to beat Butler first. I wonder what would have happened with the fight against Inoue if Casimero lost to Butler. Do you think there would be a fight with Inoue, would he have to have some elimination fights first?
At least to me Inoue seems to be determined to prove that he is above all the fighters on his division, so even if Casimero lost to Butler we could see them fighting above the ring, I have my doubts it would be soon as Inoue would prefer to fight Butler in that scenario to get an unification fight, but after that was done I think both fighters will look for a way to get above the ring together so they can give the fans the fight we have been waiting for some time. Right, every boxer really wanted to proved they are the best in their division, by becoming the champion and then fighting the other champions an challenger and sweeping that division. So even if Casimero lost, Inoue will have to fight him eventually. I do hope though that there will be no surprises. Casimero win this fight then it will be Casimero vs Inoue next. And that is what fans are waiting to see next year, and it's going to be huge for this division. Unifying the four major belts is the common objective especially now that Canelo Alvarez and Teofimo Lopez have already achieved that fate. So if Inoue, Donaire, and Casimero should not lose a fight to achieve the same. I have high hopes that in the end Casimero and Inoue will be the ones fighting for the crown and make history for themselves to have unified the four belts but first they have to beat their opponents impressively.

I'm with you, it's no longer the time of Fajardo's domination other team already find the solution and now beating them.
It's about time for Coach Leo to find a new system that will rotate his offense and not focus alone with Fajardo inside. With Terrence and Perez, they already have killers let these two play work hand in hand.
Ross and Fajardo can act as decoy and give more time for Tau and Manuel. Both are good scorers and also have good defensive skills.
If coach Leo Austria stays in SMB, then most likely his plays will remain the same. His plays are just simple, give the ball to Junemar, and if there's a double then pass to the open teammate. These plays were the ones that brought them to history in the PBA with straight championships in the AFC. There's a rumor that coach Alex Compton is in talks with SMC management, if he replaces coach Leo then most likely their system will change.

Vic Manuel is a very good player but for me, Arwind Satos fits better on the roster of San Miguel Beer Men than Manuel. For me it's a small nerfing of SMB in terms of their strat and teamwork. After all, we all know that Santos were just traded because he's in his 40s, on the otherhand, SMB want a strong player that is below the retirement age, and it happened to be Manuel. Let's see how they will do it.
I agree ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) , SMB front office can't stop age so before Arwind retires, they exploit and get the best out of him. SMB is banking player and they never mind if those will fit in the current system, the important thing is that they have the leverage if another trade happens. As a fan of SMB, I want to see them get Greg Slaughter out of NorthPort and let him play alongside Junemar Fajardo. Some will say that this is too much but considering that these two towers are not in their peak in the next few years, this could happen.

With Sara Duterte sliding to the VP post, I'll go for Marcos. Hindi naman sa wala ng choice pero at least kung si Marcos ang mananalo, mapapatuloy niya ang mga programa na sinimulan ni PRRD while Sara is learning to be President someday.

I also believe that Butler is not on Casimero's level, and this is just a mandatory fight. If Casimero wants to make more money fight, raising his popularities by winning with a very interesting and enjoyable fight might take place.
Fans are always expecting quality fight, even with a mandatory fight. He needs to showcase his skills and talents, powerful combo sending Butler to a KO would delight more viewers.
That is also what I'm thinking. Butler is not a threat to Casimero's belt at least for now. The only unfortunate thing that happened in this fight is the money that the champ would receive as it's not so lucrative but this issue is now under the bridge as I have not heard from Team Casimero whining about the money they will get fighting this mandatory, wonder what the CEO of Probellum promised to Quadro Alas if he wins this one.

My guess would be the starting five SMB are as follows.
June Mar Fajardo - Center Vic Manuel - Forward Marcio Lassiter - Guard Terrence Romeo- Guard Chris Ross - Guard.
JMF, VIC, and Lassiter are all good rebounders so they can still dominate the rebounding department.
As we can see in the last conference, the opposing team loves to double JMF, that's where Manuel will be more effective.
With Vic Manuel playing alongside Fajardo, the painted lane will be too crowded as Manuel loves to muscle his way to the basket, unlike Arwind Santos who just roamed around the rainbow whenever there is a double on the Kraken so I guess it's a double-edged sword on having Manuel on the roster of SMB. On the other hand, as we can see last conference where coach Leo Austria experimented on Mo and Junemar playing in the middle where Mo was the recipient on most of the assist from Junemar whenever there is a double on him so let us see what combination would work best for them.

Pure ABP here as well so far stable naman sa 1300 to 1400 MMR, ok naren kase malalakas talaga ang mga player ngayon this season some good teams are also on this level kaya medyo Hirap umangat para sa mga katulad naten.
AAP yong akin at nasa 1.2-1.3 MMR siya before the update then it goes down to 900 MMR so naghanap ako ng kapalit ng aking mid-liner at salamat sa nakuha ko at muling umangat yong MMR ko to 1.3. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FzwPjsig.jpg&t=663&c=-mYIyZHJttMFTg)

I'm not surprised that no one voted for Murata in the poll. I don't want to underestimate GGG's opponent but I think this is a big mismatch, looks like an exhibition fight for me and I already know the winner. I did some research about Murata and an article says that he is a superstar in Japan, even bigger than Inoue. https://theathletic.com/news/gennadiy-golovkin-and-ryota-murata-to-fight-dec-28-in-tokyo/qARqldy4VAdk/How big is this fight in Japan? Mike Coppinger, boxing insider: Massive; arguably the biggest fight in the country’s history. Murata is an Olympic gold medalist, an absolute rock star in Japan, even bigger than Naoya Inoue. He routinely pulls more than 30 million views for his bouts. Have not voted in the poll yet as I'm still researching on GGG's opponent but with the article that you shared, I'm leaning towards the Japanese to win this fight via decision. To be held in New Year, this must be a very big event in Japan and this is not a regular boxing fight as this is a unification fight for the middleweight division. At 35 years old, Murata still has it to defeat the old Golovkin. We GGG has been inconsistent in his performance lately, this may be due to his age.

I didn't expect this trade though I already know that the "Death 5" will be breaking as they are old already. What are your thoughts with this?
Nothing personal here, it's just a business and we have to accept that it happened. I'm also surprised at first knowing there's another trade from the SMB roster, and Cabagnot being a clutch guy is traded for Enciso, I guess the SMB are looking for youth that's why they traded their older players. Cabagnot is 38 years old and Arwind Santos is 40, they are already veterans, so we can understand the decision of the management. This is like SMC's indirect way of saying to their players to retire as you are old in this game already ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . Those players involved, I think they already knew that one day this would come. One good thing about this is that they still earn some money before they finally retire. Give chance to the young players to shine, many of them are now playing overseas while a lot of 38's to 40's are still banging bodies in the PBA lol. Wonder what's the real score of Mark Caguiao in the Gin King's roster, is he retired?

Surprised to see GGG fighting this year at his age.
And even though he lost to Canelo, (controversial and then no rematch), I still consider him the greatest MW of our era. This will be his second reign and I agree that GGG has so much experienced that we will favor him against the Japanese fighter in Murata. But Murata is also a champion and we all know that Japanese boxer is also durable, so this is going to be a good fight.
I agree with that, have seen fights involving Japanese boxers and they were tough and courageous and this Murata, though he only has 18 fights record still he could bring some challenges to the not-so-young GGG. Fighting at 40 years old is tough for GGG as you have to train religiously for a fight, I admire him for that. Have not voted yet as I'm having a hard time picking when an old fighter fighting young guys, we all see what happened to Manny lately ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) .

Casimero could potentially face either Donaire or Inoue if he wins against his challenger, it's a task he cannot say no and he cannot lose if he wants his dream to be realized.
I think he will likely face Inoue as his promoter would not allow that to happen. This is probably the scenario. If both Donaire and Casimero will win against on their respective challengers, then one of the could fight Inoue, if one of them lose, at least there's still one left that could fight Inoue, in that way, both fights would give good money to their promoters since Inoue is popular and he will attract the fans to watch the fight. Both Donaire and Casimero are now under Probellum and they have become friends already as the Donaire's were the ones helping Casimero to land in Probellum so I think the probability of Casimero vs Donaire is slim, it would be Inoue fighting whom they think will give Top Rank more money. Butler had a weak chin, this would be Casimero's target come fight night. Watch below the KO highlight of Tete on Butler. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKO_hy91rx8

The lower the PPV price the more people can afford to buy, hopefully, they'll be able to sell a good number of PPV so they'll be profitable in this fight. Porter vs Crawford is such a great fight, it will never be boring so it's good if we book a subscription and watch it together with our friends and family.
As to betting, that is always depending on what we think and on how this find will end up, of course with the fighter of your choice.
I'm maybe wrong but Terrence Crawford is not yet a big star in boxing these days that may be the reason why Top Rank decided to make the PPV price a little bit cheaper to attract hardcore boxing fans to buy. The target market for this PPV will be the US and I don't it will reach 500K buys as Crawford is not yet a draw, hope Bob will realize that and let Terrence fight whom he feels could bring him to stardom. This Porter fight maybe the start, hope if he wins this one he will fight Thurman next.

Can relate to that bolded text above, haha. Napakalakas pa rin naman ng Termi, daming talo ko kapag nakatapat ko sila and i'm considering buying a termi team in the future.

One of the imports that we must look at is the import of Meralco Bolts, Shabazz Muhammad. He is a former NBA player and he played in CBA where he averaged more or less 30 PPG in one season. I think that Meralco is one team that other teams might want to watch this conference (IMO). They have legit import that is a shooter/scorer and they also have a good roster and we've seen it in the Filipino Cup where they are 2nd in elimination round. Which team do you think will dominate this Governor's Cup?
Too early to tell yet but if we based our speculations on history, my choice will be Ginebra as Justine Brownlee is a tested import and he is already acquainted with the style of play in the PBA. Shabazz Muhammad might have impressive numbers in the CBA but bringing it in the PBA is a tough challenge as we all know that most of the imports complained about the physicality of the PBA, and that might affect his numbers.

So within a Month time now Middle East is the place ? now Casimero must Show how tough His Hands than His Mouth after delivering too much Badmouthing the past months .
Though I am aiming for Him to Win over Butler because i also wanted Him to face Inoue to see if he can take the Monster that Donaire did not achieve in His first try.
Yup, Dubai is the place. Don't worry, Casimero can back the talk ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . Trash-talking seems to be part of the strategy to sell fight and often times it is effective and sometimes not. In boxing, they said that there is no such thing as an easy fight but this Butler fight is just a warm-up fight for bigger things to come for Casimero considering that he won't let his guards down IMO. Warm up fight for Butler? I dont think so and he shouldnt really be that confident on fighting with Casimero. Not to say about their capabilities but i could say that Casimero is indeed capable on beating him so he shouldnt really make those big talks before the fight but its right that trashtalks is really part of the business for them to sell out the fight and able to get more revenue but this is much better than compared into those exhibition fights that we do have right now. Its worth of spending some bucks rather than into those circus dance. It's the other way around, sort of warm-up fight for Casimero in preparation for bigger fights like a match with Inoue in the near future. Don't get me wrong, Butler may be tough but Casimero is just too strong for him, IMO. Casimero has been to many fights in foreign lands and this is what makes him tough and Dubai could be like a home court for him too. As of this writing, Casimero says he's already 80 percent condition, with 3 weeks to go i think that's great news for his fans to hear.
